Original subtitles

I just asked him for it,

and Brady gave me the extra vote.

Previously on Survivor...

Everybody drop your Buffs.

We are switching tribes.

The tribe swap.

Meeting Kilby was a dream come true.

And I think he's doing a very good job

integrating himself with the Savus.

Nice! Yes, Kilby.

We have to stay Savu strong and.

Lewis is the one that's on the outs right now.

I genuinely like you a lot.

Mike's at the bottom of the tribe. He's trying

to put himself in a better position.

Mike is so bogus.

I feel like we could

help each other.

The helicopter alliance

is in the majority.

And Jenna,

you got to go home.

Fifth person voted out of Survivor 51:

Jenna.

The tribe has spoken.

Guys, thank you.

I knew we could trust you.

I know that wasn't easy.

I know she is a sweet girl, but...

She is a sweet girl,

but she's gone!

When we come back from Tribal Council,

I was trying to contain my excitement,

but it's pretty hard to do that

when my guy Devin is out here

acting like we just won the Super Bowl.

Oh, my God,

she's gone.

Justice for Aaliyah.

Tribal Council for me

was a win-win-win, win-win-win-win-win.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

Yeah, congratulations.

- Yeah. - Thank you for being trustworthy.

Now I feel so good.

I seriously love y'all.

Not only did we do it, but

I was finally on the right side of a vote.

Thank you, God.

And also, we just

solidified trust with Alexis.

Is this new beginnings?

Did I just make a brand-new ally in Alexis?

- Now, y'all, the four of us... - Oh, we have to...

We have to give everything we got.

Pulling off a blindside

is definitely a bonding moment.

It makes you trust those people.

But you're also all, like, relishing in this joy

of, like, having achieved something.

And the closer you get

to something, the more

it makes you think about why you're here.

Ori, what made you apply to Survivor?

Growing up, the first job I ever remember my mom having...

she worked at McDonald's.

She immigrated to this country,

raising three kids by herself on a McDonald's,

- seven-dollars-an-hour salary then. - Wow.

She worked... She would work 14 hours a day.

I remember, like, she would get us ready for school at 8:00,

and she would come home at 11:00, and she would save, like,

the only meal she was given during her shift,

and, like, bring it home so we could share. So, like...

Yeah, man.

Yeah, let's get you all the way to the end.

Yeah, multiple brothers.

My little brother... he was 21,

and then my older brother was 33.

And,

I turned 33 this past year,

and I never, you know, thought

about being older than my older brother.

One day, you know, I just sat back,

and I was, like, staring at the ceiling,

and I closed my eyes,

and I saw all the people I'd lost,

like, sitting up in heaven, sitting on a big couch,

looking at a TV.

And they had a remote in their hand,

and they were, like, you know, changing channels.

And every channel was someone's life,

and finally, they get to my life.

And I'm just sitting there, laying in bed,

like, not doing anything

with the life that I've been given when...

I know all they want to do

is watch me live a life that's super exciting.

And so, it's already been so cool

to see, like, how much I can actually do.

That's so dope, bro.

- What about you, Alexis? - What's your why?

I went through so much

with addiction and, like...

Just, like, straight-up, like, being out on the streets,

like, running and gunning for a few years.

It was so crazy, and...

getting in trouble with the law.

I remember sitting in a jail cell

with, like, all these other women.

And all these women would say, like, why they were there.

They'd be like, "Oh, I couldn't afford",

"like, my probation for a DUI,

so I'm doing this instead."

Or, like, the stupidest things.

Then I would tell them why I was there,

and they were like, "Damn, girl, you need Jesus."

- Like... - Yeah.

Like, I was, like, the only real criminal in the room.

Like, it was so mind-blowing to me. Like,

that really, like, changed me.

I was addicted to substances as a young person,

but the second I got sober,

I just thought of those women.

I just felt it in my bones that, like,

I can actually help them.

And, like,

that is what I do. I'm a criminal defense attorney.

I defend people to the very end.

I really enjoyed talking to you tonight.

Me too. I love talking to you.

Coming into this game,

I think I planned to play a game

that was just for me.

But tonight, I feel like we really built trust.

We've had, like, really deep talks, like, all night.

And I think all that stuff really,

like, creates something between people.

We don't have our families out here.

This is my family.

And so, these are my people.

I have to protect them.

- Oh, yo. - Are y'all

- playing ball? - The Kareem

Abdul-Jabbar sky hook.

I need it!

- Off the bamboo. - Show it off, nazy.

Dang it. That was kind of close.

It was a lot closer than I wanted it to be.

- It was a good job. - Oh, my goodness.

On this new Toka tribe,

I'm having a good time out here. I love Survivor,

and I think I found really solid people that I can trust,

which makes being out here way better.

- Attababy. - Look out, now.

- Whoo! Whoo! - We have

five original Toka members,

and Kristin's the one original Savu.

Kristin's a gamer,

which is a pro and a con.

But she's someone that you want to trust...

A little pressure here?

Versus Mike.

Mike is kind of, like, a bottom-feeder.

Anybody want coconut?

He's trying to eat whoever he can, as long as

he can make it another day.

And it angers me.

- That's great. - It's, like, literally,

all of my knowledge is from Survivor.

You're kind of our encyclopedia, Brody.

You know?

No. No.

On the new Toka tribe, when I saw

one outsider, Kristin,

I was like, "She got to go."

She has studied Survivor inside and out,

and she is just weaponized with information.

The problem is all the boys love her.

Thien An loves her.

Kristin is studied up.

- Oh, she's smart. - She's, like...

The ultimate encyclopedia of Survivor.

Of Survivor.

- Yes. - The very first day,

- she scared the pants out of me. - Yes.

- And so did, Linnea. - Yeah, yeah.

But that's such an easy vote.

Like, do you think people really go for it?

- Well, I think... - That's my fear.

You know what I mean?

Do you think so? Even Mike?

Because he wants to ride someone's coattails.

I don't think Mike

has any power to do anything.

I don't know what to do.

- No. Yeah. - I feel real solid...

I've kind of felt about Maggie

from the jump is she so unpredictable.

She's so flippy-floppy, wishy-washy.

Oh, "I can do this." Or, "Oh, maybe I shouldn't."

Or, "Oh, I have to pee."

Or, "Oh, maybe I have to poop, too."

Like, she don't know what the hell's going on.

Oh, my gosh.

- Yeah. - But, anyway, she's here now.

But I don't know. Like...

Dude, she's flipping every time she has a thought.

And it's scary, and it's annoying.

And I love her and she's a sweetheart,

but God dang it, stop it.

Driving me crazy.

I mean, I'm a psychopath, but I-I couldn't live like that.

We say Toka strong and we make it to the merge,

dude, we got that extra vote.

Maggie's extra vote is a problem

because it's supposed to be used between us.

And, realistically, Brody,

it was supposed to be mine to dictate.

The reason she got it from me was because

of how frantic she was.

I found the extra vote. She's going,

"I'm on the bottom, I'm on the bottom!"

It's just so unpredictable,

Brody, I can't take it.

Since we found that extra vote,

- we're together with it. Yeah. - Okay. Sweet. Sweet.

And so I think

that maybe the extra vote isn't good in Maggie's hands.

Breakfast.

All right, you start with the biscuits, and I'll start with...

- Shall we? - So-so we're doing two biscuits each.

While they're still nice and...

I'll grab one in a minute.

Right now, the Dina tribe is me and Lewis

and four original Savu.

- To another win today. - Yes. - Another win today.

- Cheers. - Cheers.

I'm in the minority, but I noticed there's a spark

between me and Eric, and

I'm planting seeds so that it really continues

to grow and grow and grow and grow

until it's something amazing that will save me

here on the Dina tribe.

That's wonderful.

Twenty-four hours ago, I was just

on the ground all day,

pooping my pants.

Just in utter... I was in utter misery.

And, today's

a new day.

I'm back at 100%.

I don't drink coffee, but I love coffee ice cream.

I feel like now that I'm back in my game,

it's a slow burn with this tribe.

They don't like talking strategy too hard, too fast.

It's very different from my last tribe, so, I'm making

my inroads.

I have a hot take. Bagpipes suck.

But Kilby's

a chatterbox.

He could go on for days.

You guys know The Big Comfy Couch?

- Yes! - Yes! Oh, my God...

How can I compete with Kilbs?

Kilbs and Eric... they talk about things,

I have no earthly realm.

I love Howl's Moving Castle.

The references, the phrases.

My cats. It's always Zeus and Spock.

Del Toro's, Pinocchio.

I like, Flogging Molly.

- Clean cups, clean cups. - Move down.

Clean cups, clean cups.

What on Earth are they talking about? So...

You know, I have to wiggle in somewhere with this tribe.

I assume you're feeling a little nervous today...

- if we were to lose. - Yeah.

Kilbs connects with people really well.

He's a talker and stuff like that.

So it can be hard t-to

kind of go up against someone like that, in a way.

- You know what I mean? - Totally.

What type of game do you want to play?

I really do feel pretty strong with Savu.

- All right. - But

I could really see us working together post-emerge.

Also, we clearly have, like, different groups,

- different numbers to be brought in. - Yeah.

The strategy behind talking with Lewis

is for him to feel like

I'm one of his only options to wiggle his way

into the Savu four.

Yeah, I know. I know.

And honestly, I think, also,

that kind of unknown can be an advantage moving forward.

- Yeah, yeah. - Oh, like, "Hey."

- It's both. It can be both. - Yeah, it can-it can be my

- downfall or my new advantage. - Yeah.

You never know.

Three days on Exile... Lewis could have something big.

But Savu's in the majority right now.

I'm staying Savu strong.

And I feel like I've created good bonds with Kilby.

And Lewis... he was just horizontal for, like, 24 hours.

No one talked to him.

So, if we lose the challenge,

goodbye, Lewis.

If you've ever thought about playing Survivor

but you just weren't sure if it was the right time,

this is your sign.

It's time. Apply to be on Survivor.

Bring in the boats!

- Later, tribe. - Welcome to day ten.

- Yes. - Rock-star style.

I mean, does it get much better?

- No. It really doesn't. - Not a lot. Not a lot.

Dina and Toka getting your first look at the new Savu tribe.

Jenna voted out

at the last Tribal Council.

All right, shall we get to today's immunity challenge?

First things first.

Got to take back the idols. Thank you.

- Thank you. - Bye.

Once again,

immunity is back up for grabs.

Just one.

Oh, one. Oh!

Sorry, just realized.

Yeah. It's definitely a do-or-die challenge.

On my go,

one tribe member will climb a ladder,

retrieve a buoy, leap into the ocean.

Then the next tribe member goes, gets a second buoy.

The third tribe member

will dive down to release a third buoy.

Once you have all three buoys, you must

balance them on a disc

while moving across parallel

balance beams. When you reach

the finish, the fourth tribe member

will attempt to land those buoys

in three targets.

The first

and only the first tribe to finish

- wins immunity. - Okay.

In addition, you're playing

for a reward. Want to know what you're playing for?

Yes.

The victors... the first tribe only...

will have, waiting for you back at camp...

PB and J, baby.

A massive basket

of Survivor pastries.

Banana bread!

Can-can we smell it?

- Is that a croissant? - All right.

Both losing tribes will go to Tribal Council

and vote out the sixth and seventh players

from the game.

Big, big stakes today.

Let's get to sit-outs. Toka, you have two.

Cannot sit out the same people in back-to-back challenges.

Thien An must participate in this challenge.

Who's it gonna be?

Kristin's gonna sit out and Maggie's gonna sit out.

All right, Dina, two sit-outs.

It cannot be Eric. He sat out the last challenge.

It's Kilby and somebody.

Kilby is definitely sitting out.

The hand makes that clear.

Who's the other sit-out?

- I'm out. - All right. So,

Cristian, you will be the second sit-out.

All right, sit-outs, take a spot on the bench.

Everybody else, give you a minute to strategize.

We'll get it on.

Here we go. Pastries on the line.

All right.

Here we go, for immunity

and reward.

Survivors ready.

- Go! - Go!

It's Devin in first

for Savu.

Carter in first for Toka.

Linnea in first for Dina.

You got to get up that ladder and release the bag.

Carter's got his.

Devin has his.

Linnea has hers.

She drops hers, gonna have to get it.

- Come on, come on. - You're good, Toka.

- You're good, Savu. - Get up there, get up there.

Linnea, got to get to that ring.

Go, Dina.

Gonna be Jelly out for Savu.

Gonna be Thien An for Toka.

Lewis for Dina.

This is a buoy you've got to thread along the rope

till you get to the top.

Then you free it up and jump off.

Thien An's got it. It's Toka back in the lead.

Yeah!

Yes!

Go, Brady!

Toka with a big lead.

Lewis trying to make up some time.

- Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Come on, come on, come on.

Yes, yes!

Go, Savu!

Go, Dina!

Here we go, buddy, come on, come on, come on!

- There goes Brady. - Up and down.

Eric going up for Dina.

It's Alexis going up for Savu.

- Gina! - Whoo!

You've got to unclip that ring.

It's about five feet down.

Brady now is going down.

Brady has his for Toka.

It's Jelly going down.

Savu has theirs.

Eric has it for Dina.

Release those buoys.

Then you got to put 'em in that disc.

Everybody getting up on the deck now.

Now you move into this next phase.

And now move across this beam.

Toka quickly has the buoys in their disc.

They're giving it a go.

This requires a lot of teamwork and a lot of communication.

And that's gonna happen.

Toka's got to get their buoys, start again.

There goes Savu. They're trying to figure it out.

You've got one person on one side,

two players on the other side,

and a very shallow disc

that you are gonna have to balance those buoys in.

You're too high.

Hey, guys, we're good. Keep your head.

The buoys drop, you got to start again.

Take your time, guys. This is where we win it.

- Back. Pull back. Back. - We have to be on this beam.

Okay, super slow.

Toka giving it another go,

and they're halfway through this time.

Nice and slow. Take your time.

- You guys are good. - Toka has

figured this out very quickly.

They're making a lot of progress.

You got to get everybody off the beam.

Yeah, nice and steady.

You're good, Toka.

Well done.

- Great job, Toka! - That was very fast.

It is Dina and Savu

still trying to figure it out.

Great job, y'all.

All right, you're good. In the water.

Mike gonna shoot now for Toka.

Toka with an early lead.

Hey, keep it steady. You got it.

It is Dina

with a little bit of a lead over Savu.

We're okay.

Mike with a nice toss. He's scored the first.

- Second one. - There are two left for Toka. Big lead.

Mike with another nice toss.

And he sinks his second one!

Mike has this challenge dialed in.

Toka down to one for the win.

- Aah, aah! - Just short.

Only one tribe

- is safe tonight. - Let's go, let's go.

Got it.

Dina does it! You're good, Dina.

Savu struggling to get across this beam.

Mike can win it right here.

- We're good, guys. - Dina, you are in this right now.

- Come on, Dina! - One more buoy. Let's go.

You're good.

It's gonna be Sharonda trying to make up a lot of time.

Mike has been all around it.

Is this it?

For the win!

- It's over! - Come on!

What a huge effort from Mike.

Toka safe tonight at Tribal Council...

- Come on! - Whoo!

- Let's go! - And a takedown by Maggie.

Yes!

Sending Dina and Savu to Tribal Council,

where the sixth

and seventh players will be voted out of this game.

- You guys killed that. - You murdered it.

Wow. That was fast.

All right, Toka. Congratulations.

Whoo!

All right, Toka, no Tribal Council.

Nobody from this group going home.

Aah!

That massive basket of pastries.

Enjoy the night off. Swim out.

Enjoy your pastries

- back at camp. - I'm gonna cannonball!

Let's go!

All right, Dina, Savu... both groups

going to Tribal Council.

Swim out. I'll see you tonight at Tribal.

All right.

My heart sank after losing the challenge

because two tribes are going to Tribal, but

tribal lines this season, I feel like,

are pretty drawn in the sand at this point.

So if things go how I want them to go tonight,

Savu stays strong, and we take out Lewis.

- Good job, guys. - Good effort, good effort.

Y'all, I'm sorry

for dropping the ball.

It was brutal.

I hate this.

Right now, there's four. On paper, it's literally

two versus two. We're split right down the middle.

Me and Alexis together,

and Dev and Jelly, but

it's gonna be a real tough afternoon...

- Can I talk to you, Alexis? - Sure.

Because I'm in good with every single person here.

I got the heli alliance,

which I literally made

on day one, hour one.

But I have my bond... and I don't even say alliance...

I have my bond with Alexis.

Only girls have been voted out of this game.

Wow. I didn't know that.

Which, like, obviously, I don't want that

to be the narrative of this season, but...

It feels terrible because

lines have to be drawn.

But either way, I'm gonna have to

pull the trigger, and it's gonna hurt.

I just want to start off

by giving you all my cards, 'cause I think,

like, what I have will change what you're thinking.

- Okay. - Okay.

I have an extra vote.

I don't want to play an extra vote, you know?

- Yeah. Fair. - If it was... if it was up to me, I'd pocket it.

- Yeah. - But that only works

if you write down Ori's name...

- I know. - With me and Jelly,

because I absolutely, under no circumstance,

am voting against Jelly.

I wanted to be 100% real with you about, like,

- what I had. - I appreciate that. Thank you.

Like, what my plan was.

This is completely different than what happened

with Jenna, but it's the same plan.

Pull Alexis to the side,

make her feel super safe

so she doesn't play her Shot in the Dark, and then...

perform a blindside.

I will happily vote with you tonight.

It feels dirty.

It's hard when I already have, like,

these preformed alliances with Jelly and Ori,

but in order for me

to move forward in this game, I've got to

write down someone's name who

I believe is such a good person

and so deserving of being here.

I do trust you,

like, after last night, and I really like you,

and I do think we could move forward

and have a solid alliance.

With Devin, I'm playing like

I'm voting with him, but

Dev is extremely, extremely sociable.

People really like him.

And personally, I think Dev

could sell ice to a Eskimo.

And to me, a big part of tonight

is getting rid of someone I think is a threat.

Ori is not a threat to me.

Dev is a threat.

- Damn. Okay. - I know.

I know. And honestly, I don't want to go to rocks.

I'm scared, but...

I'm still gonna try it with Jelly.

I'm gonna try Jelly, too.

Okay.

He's a huge...

Okay. I see.

So now the question is

is there a world where we can get Jelly on our side?

Because she has said a few things

over the last few days that were indicative of her

wanting to play her own game

and not just be, you know, Dev's sidekick.

Like, I'm telling you, like, woman to woman,

and as, like, someone watching Survivor,

I'd be like, "Jelly",

- "you have an opportunity." - No, you don't understand. Like,

Yeah, I know, and you've been with Dev the whole time.

- I know. - And y'all have gone

to Tribal Council every single time,

and you've been mostly on the losing side.

I know

she believes in female empowerment.

I do too. So,

step out from behind Dev

and take control of this game.

- I am so sorry. - I cannot

be a part of another woman going

out of this game. Like,

- this is embarrassing. - Correct.

We're getting slaughtered.

Yeah.

Everybody who's been

eliminated thus far has been a woman.

Am I gonna just

keep contributing to that?

And, to be honest, Alexis is right.

Devin is not good for my game.

He's not connected

to anyone that I need moving forward.

And I could always lean on the fact

that I wasn't okay voting out another woman

to kind of make it make sense

why I had to let go of Devin.

I spent a lot of time with Jelly today.

I mean, she's just getting more and more convinced.

As a trial attorney,

it made me just...

love it.

I genuinely am, like, on the fence.

I'm putting everything on the line for Jelly tonight,

and I'm trusting her.

But until we are across that finish line,

and those votes are written down,

I am not counting

my chickens before they hatch.

We are on cloud nine

'cause Toka 2.0 has won pastries and immunity.

So excited.

Oh, yo.

But because it's the open era, of course,

there's a twist.

- "One of you is needed somewhere else." - Oh, my...

"Choose who will miss out on reward

and travel to another beach." Oh, my gosh.

- No. - No. - Holy crap.

Brody, I can't-I can't miss out on food.

Raise your hand if you want to.

Survivor kind of forces you

to make these really split-second decisions.

Do I want this? Do I not want this? What are

all the million possibilities of what could happen

and what would they all mean for all these different things?

- I'll put my name in, too. - I'll do... I'll...

I'm thinking this could be

some type of an advantage.

So I volunteered.

I wanted that opportunity.

Jeff's always got something up his sleeve.

Just when you think you got a reward.

Oh, boy.

Survey says...

Survey says...

- Maggie. - Whoo! - Exciting.

It's you, Mags.

- Bye, Mags. - Good luck.

- Bye, guys. I'm excited. - Safe travels. Au revoir.

Enjoy.

Worst-case scenario is Maggie.

With this permanent uncertainty, you know,

is she gonna leave and not... and not come back?

Is she gonna leave and gain a bunch of power

and feel like she doesn't need the rest of us? I don't know.

If stuff gets hairy, I can't rely on her.

Thank you.

"This is an Alliance Builder Extra Vote.

"You will visit a tribe of your choosing.

Give this vote parchment

to any player on that tribe."

It's a big decision.

I'm gonna have to make a calculated decision

because I have an extra vote to give

and I have one as well.

Essentially, I have

two extra votes.

I'm ready to cause some chaos.

This is big.

Aah!

We tried. Mike was insane

on the balls.

Ay, caramba.

I am absolutely terrified because this is

a united four of original Savu.

I have been, like, with a chisel,

smacking it as hard as I can on every person,

every rock possible, to find any cracks.

There are none.

I get it. You guys are four. You guys are connected.

So, my game plan coming back to the beach is

throw Lewis under the bus

any chance I can get.

- I feel terrible 'cause I-I do really like him. - I know,

- but it's either you or him, so don't be... - Yup.

I feel so bad.

I have to throw him under the bus. I...

I know. I'm really sorry about it.

You promise they're not voting me, right?

- No. Everyone's voting Lewis tonight. - Okay.

I really like Kilby. I know

it's pretty obvious that we get along.

So, my original Savu tribe mates

and Kilby... we're the ones in the power,

and Lewis... he's the one

that needs to be talking to us to figure out,

"Hey, how can I get out of here?

Please, let me out of the hole. I need to get out of the hole."

While we have to be like, "Maybe."

"What can you offer us?"

Girl, we're going to Tribal.

- It's about to get real. - Yeah.

- Sharonda, can I talk with you real quick? - Let's go.

Once we lose, I know

I'm completely and utterly doomed.

Whatever you want, I'm down.

I have to come up with something.

Everyone thinks I have an advantage from Exile, so,

at this point, I'm just buying into the mystery.

- I want to work with you. - Okay.

Would you... take an advantage

that comes with, like, conditions?

I'm open.

So, on Exile,

when you lose a challenge, you get a disadvantage.

So...

Blood idol?

Our lives are linked for...

- two Tribals. - Two Tribals?

And on the third, it turns into an idol

for the person I give it to.

How do I trust you? Where's the paper?

I approached Sharonda with this

completely waffled idea that there's this Blood idol

that's linking me and Sharonda's life for two Tribals.

Then she magically gets a little idol for her third Tribal.

Like, what am I coming up with?

This looks like something you were wearing.

I feel like you're playing me.

And I trusted you before.

But now it's hard to trust you right now.

I'm very suspicious of Lewis, but

he calls it a blood ring, which is smart,

because in 50, we just saw that there is a blood moon.

- Very annoying and bad news. - Okay.

Look at this.

I mean, 51 is the open era.

We know that anything can happen.

I've never heard of this or seen this, but

sometimes you just got to think through all the possibilities.

What are your thoughts?

I know.

Apparently, it's a blood ring.

Whoever you give it to, if you are voted out,

whoever you gave it to goes out with you.

Okay, so,

I know jewelry.

- I don't think it's real, because... - Okay.

Lewis described that exact ring 'cause it has raw emeralds.

Lewis, a few days earlier,

had explained to me that exact ring was some sort

of Irish cultural, historical background.

It's, like, a silver ring,

and it has a-a raw emerald in the middle.

A raw emerald. That's cool.

I love jewelry. I know jewelry.

And so, I immediately knew that it wasn't real

and he was just trying really hard to stay in the game.

He's a genius, because it's a beautiful lie.

- Yeah, it's a genius... - He messed up,

describing the exact thing to me.

- So is the plan still Lewis? - Yes.

I can read the room.

If this big master plan doesn't work,

it's me. I'm on the chopping block, so,

there'd have to be a miracle sent to me

for something else to change.

What?

- Hey! - What?

Hello.

- Maggie? - What in the world?

- Hi! - Maggie.

- Hello. - Maggie arrives.

What the heck is she doing? She's not just paying a visit.

She's not here to get a pedicure.

She's here to stir up our Tribal.

It just said, "Don't participate in the food."

"You have to decide right now.

Someone's getting on the boat."

So, are you coming to our Tribal tonight? What's going on?

No, I have no direction.

No? Geez. Marone. That's wild.

I got to choose which beach to go to

to pass out this extra vote.

And

my thought process was

I need to come over here to Dina

because poor Kilby's over here with Lewis.

I mean, it's four-two.

They're on the bottom.

So, why not come over here

and just stir a little bit of, like, questioning?

Let's do one-on-ones.

Yeah, sure.

So, let's play.

I just wanted to be with your laugh and your joy.

Immediately, I started pulling 'em off one by one,

just to have some individual conversations.

How are you feeling with them?

It's been a little hard to get to know Lewis, at least.

- I love Savu, you know. - Yeah.

- I mean... - Are you lock Savu strong?

- That's how it feels right now. - Okay.

Savu... I don't know if you've gotten this vibe...

- like, we're such a loyal bunch thus far. - Yeah.

I love Lewis and Kilby.

- Yes. - But I would be very shocked

if someone on Savu goes home.

But no matter who I talked to,

they were Savu strong. Like,

Lewis and Kilby have no chance.

I just know after talking to them individually,

they are so strong.

Like, their relationships. I...

- It's do or die? - It's do or die, guys.

I...

have to give the extra vote that I received on the boat

to someone here.

But I have an extra vote as well.

Listen, I got a plan.

I'm gonna give you the extra vote,

and I'll give you my other extra vote.

It will give you four.

That's huge.

If I give them the extra vote

and my extra vote,

it might give them a fighting chance,

because it would be a four-four split.

But that's not good enough for me.

My thing is, there's someone I'd like to see out of the game.

When I met Linnea on day one, I was like,

"This girl is so dangerous."

Like, I would just

love if Kilby and Lewis could vote her out.

It would be epic.

So, four votes

on Linnea?

Worst-case scenario, it's four-four.

That's the worst.

We have nothing to lose.

Bro, that would be the most epic thing ever, going to rocks.

Linnea would not be my first option,

but I have to do Maggie a solid. She gave us both

extra votes.

I owe her my life, literally.

So,

hey, what Maggie says, we do.

Honestly, one more thing I wanted to do out here

was be crazy and go to rocks.

- Yeah. - You too, bro?

What do we have to lose?

- You can't mess it up. - Yup.

I am truly in a pickle right now.

Option A is

go with my boy Lewis and tie the vote,

baiting the Savus

to flip it on the revote,

and maybe it'll work. And if not,

hope that I draw the right rock.

Wow.

Option B is,

give up on Lewis, join the Savus

and really commit myself hard to that side,

potentially risking my relationship with Maggie,

and also keep an extra vote in my pocket.

- So you have it? - Yeah.

- Can I see it? - Yeah.

- Just, like, the extra vote? - Yeah. Let me see it, too.

Wow.

See you guys!

- Bye, Maggie! - Bye. - Bye, Maggie.

So I'm really going,

"This is gonna be a hard

decision."

Like,

what are you leaning to right now?

Right now, if I'm being transparent, I'm fifty-fifty.

This is,

by far, the toughest decision

that I've experienced thus far in Survivor.

It is coming down to

two different sets of morals for me.

Should be pretty simple.

- Should be. - I have.

Ori and Devin, who I have

the helicopter alliance with,

which is about really trying to make it to where

we see Black people do well in this game.

I'm, like, tipping towards Dev. It's just...

If you do this tonight, I will do it for you.

But then on the other end,

I don't want to be a part

of another woman elimination. These are

two different things I'm having to weigh and navigate,

in addition to thinking about which decision is gonna

affect my game in the long run.

Okay, so what happened was, I went to Dina.

- And? - There is zero cracks.

And I didn't

just give Kilby

this extra vote that I received on this boat.

I have my other extra vote.

- So I gave it to Lewis. - Wow.

And I asked, "Would you be willing to go to rocks?"

I just set Dina up

for an epic Tribal Council.

I hope it's an epic blindside,

but Lewis could flip on Kilby and keep the extra vote.

Kilby could do the exact same thing.

None of that could go as planned.

This could be the craziest Tribal this season.

It could be.

Am I the swing vote between an easy Lewis vote and

the frigging craziest Tribal Council in history?

I'm just a Canadian guy from a small town.

I don't know how I got that responsibility.

Because I genuinely do not know what I'm gonna do right now.

All right, so Devin,

what did you experience this afternoon?

Because if it's a known thing

that you and Jelly are, on paper, anyway, together,

and Ori and Alexis are together, what went down?

Well, no matter what,

Jelly has been my number one

since the-the game started.

And I'll do many things, but I will not betray my number one.

So I flipped upside down, did backflips

trying to get one of these two to move.

And I guess we'll see if anything worked, you know?

So, Ori,

when you hear Devin say, "Hey, I'm with Jelly,

and nothing's gonna change," what do you do with that?

So it's two versus two,

we're in the middle of the ring, but

if there's a line drawn in the sand,

there's a line draw in the sand, and something's got to give.

But at the end of the day, Survivor is a zero-sum game.

Only one person can win.

You have to find a way to have you be that one person.

Point blank, period.

Jelly, when Devin proclaims,

publicly,

"I will never vote against Jelly,"

it's great, could be very powerful,

could get you to the end, in theory.

But if he's truly that loyal,

there is an opportunity to say, "I need to survive,"

- and he'll never see it coming. - Yeah, you know,

Devin loves a proclamation,

you know? And we're different in that way.

I would say I like to keep my cards closer to my chest.

I like to think through every scenario.

But at the same time,

to your point, that proclamation

puts a target on us in a lot of ways.

So that is something you have to take into consideration

when you're thinking about a vote.

And if I'm honest with you, Jeff,

this is the hardest Tribal I've been at yet.

Jelly, why,

only ten days in, is this the toughest vote?

And even when I said that, Devin, you sort of exhaled.

What am I hitting on here?

Well,

dang it, I did not want to get emotional today.

Like... like,

honestly, I feel closer to these four people than I do, like,

my entire Toka tribe.

And I've only been with them for three days, you know.

And last night, we talked about each other's stories

and, like, why we're here.

And I got to hear about Alexis and how she's ten years sober.

And I got to listen to Ori

tell stories about his mom and how

she worked so hard as an immigrant

in this country and a single mom. And, like...

And I sit here and I listen to Jelly

tell me stories about her mom and her grandma.

And I tell stories about my brothers that I lost, you know.

And it's... When you connect with people

on these human levels, it's just so hard

to then have to come and, like,

you go play a game. It doesn't go your way.

Then you got to send somebody home, you know.

So, I'm trying not to play with my heart.

You know, I'm trying to play the game of Survivor.

However, that's the kind of person and man I am.

And that's the way I'm gonna play this game, Jeff.

Jelly, when Devin

talks about how close you get,

and then you have to come here,

and you have to vote somebody out,

why is that

fundamental to Survivor in general?

Oh, gosh, that's a layered question, Jeff.

I mean, I woke up today, felt so locked in with these four,

and it's been, what, two days with them?

And then I'm having to think about whose dream

I'm gonna have to take away in this vote.

Like, "" Like, sometimes

I regret getting the whys, right?

The more you get to know that person,

the more you get attached to their dream.

And, like, the more

you want to see them win.

But you know to see them win means to see you lose.

So you have to be okay with crushing some dreams.

And that is a reality of Survivor.

So what do you do?

Because at some point,

you got to get in the boat and come to Tribal.

Jeff, we have debated all writing down your name.

So Alexis, how can you have

that sense of humor when we're moments away from a vote

that could take you out of this game?

I don't know, Jeff.

Maybe something's wrong with me in the head,

because truly, I'm not laughing.

I'm stressed. Either I'm going home tonight

or someone I really love is going home tonight,

and I'm not happy about it.

And every single day, I think

about my husband and my daughter,

and I literally cry

every single day thinking about them.

And I also know they don't want me coming home yet.

I need to stay in this game

for myself and for them.

All right,

it is time to vote.

Ori, you're up.

I'll go tally the votes.

If anybody has an advantage or an idol

and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.

All right. I'll read the votes.

First vote:

Alexis.

Devin. One vote Alexis, one vote Devin.

Alexis.

That's two votes Alexis, one vote Devin.

Sixth person voted out of Survivor 51:

Alexis. Need to bring me your torch.

I'm so sorry.

Wow. Wow, wow.

Wow. I'm shocked.

- I'm sorry. - I'm so sorry.

We're so sorry.

Wow, wow, wow.

You got me.

Ori.

- I love you so much. - Go get it.

Go get it.

Wow, wow, wow.

You guys, give 'em hell.

You are literally amazing.

Jeff, don't do it.

Don't do it.

- Just kidding. Do it. - I can do it?

- You can do it. - All right.

Alexis, the tribe has spoken.

Time for you to go.

Thank you so much, Jeff.

Bye, Survivor!

- Bye, Alexis. - Bye.

Grab your torches, head back to camp.

We'll bring in the next group.

Good night, Jeff.

They got me good.

I'm, like, weirdly proud of them for doing it.

And I feel like

I got the Survivor experience.

Course, I wish I would have lasted the whole time,

but every day

that I've spent down here has been

nothing short of exhilarating.

All right. So, Kilby,

Survivor is ultimately

always about social relationships.

And it's never more clear than on a day like today

when you're part of two versus a four.

So, what was this afternoon like for you?

Jeff, this tribe has been bananas.

This Savu four hang out together all day.

When you talk to somebody,

they're speaking in "we's."

They're not saying, "I like you, Kilby."

They're saying, "We like you, Kilby."

So, Lewis, you and Kilby

are obviously, at least on paper,

the ones that are gonna have to do the work.

Yeah, and Kilby couldn't have said it better.

It feels like, you know, such a united front.

It's very different from Toka.

It's just tough because they are such an honest bunch.

They really are.

But you can't be honest to everyone.

But Cristian, what's scary is

when you have two individuals

who might feel they have nothing to lose,

they're gonna try to cause chaos.

Oh, for sure. I mean,

people are fighting for their lives here.

This is a potentially $2 million game.

And Lewis spent three days on Exile.

He came back with literal

blisters on his hands.

We have no idea what that could mean or what that could do

to our group.

Lewis, Cristian references you and this unknown.

How do you utilize that to your advantage,

whether you have something or not?

It's tough, because

how close do people really want to get with you

if they do feel like you have something?

So, it can help you and it can destroy you.

But at the same time it's like, this is the open era,

and there's so many unknowns.

I mean, even today,

we see a golden boat pull up to camp,

and it hits us again.

It just... it doesn't stop here.

Eric, what happened?

So, right after the challenge,

we hear this, like, voice, like,

"Hi! How are you?"

And who is it? It's Maggie.

And in a way, it was slightly derailing, you know?

Like, we were all ready to have our chats,

figure out what's gonna happen tonight,

and then all of a sudden, boom, we have, like, company over.

Sharonda, you were nodding your head.

Yeah. So, our thought process is,

if you go on a journey,

nine times out of ten, there's an advantage.

So she could have easily given somebody an advantage here.

She could have easily... Okay.

- You're raising your hand to say... - Yeah.

Yeah, I-I was open. Sh-She...

she gave me an extra vote. Yeah.

I'm trying to be a straight shooter.

You know what I mean? And

I'm saying, "Hey",

"if this is a new family, bring me along,

'cause we can use this to help."

If we are a new family, at least come in

to this birthday party with something,

even if I'm not invited to the slumber party after.

I still have a gift.

So, Linnea, when you hear

that Kilby says he got an extra vote, what's your reaction?

The reaction is

I hope he uses it in a way that benefits me.

You know, they're on the bottom, they have two of them,

but with an extra vote, that's three.

And there's only four Savus, so something could very easily

flip and switch around, and you never know.

So, generally, I don't like advantages

that aren't in my hands.

Though it's worth noting,

like, part of why I'm being honest is, like,

at the end of the day, an extra vote...

two plus one is three, and there's four of them.

Right? So, it's still not really enough.

So, Kilby, your pitch

is, "Hey, I got an extra vote.

Keep me. Get rid of Lewis."

Yeah, it... I mean,

brother, it sucks because I love Lewis. I...

We're the internationals, you know what I mean? We're,

we're the foreigners out here playing with all the Americans.

And when-when they say they are locked,

that means I have to do something

to differentiate myself, you know what I mean?

Part of that is I got an extra vote.

Maybe that's enough to be one of the cool kids.

Well, Lewis, what Kilby's really getting at is

you play to win.

Second place, who cares?

You know, the last thing we're gonna do

is sit back on the beach all day and just accept our fate.

You know what I mean?

Every single one of them... if they found themselves

in the minority, they'd be doing the same.

So, you have to fight to win.

All right, it is

time to vote. Lewis, you're up.

Linnea, you're getting a little taste

of the Toka madness tonight.

I'm so sorry.

Slainte, or as we say in Italy,

arrivederci e salute.

I'll go tally the votes.

If anybody has an advantage or an idol

and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.

All right. I'll read the votes.

Lewis.

Linnea.

Lewis. That's two votes Lewis,

one vote Linnea.

Linnea.

Two votes Lewis, two votes Linnea.

Lewis.

That's three votes Lewis, two votes Linnea.

Lewis. That's four votes Lewis,

two votes Linnea.

Linnea. That's four votes Lewis,

three votes Linnea.

- One vote left. - What?

What?

Linnea.

We're tied. Four votes Lewis,

four votes Linnea.

- So, we're gonna revote. - Damn.

You can only vote for Lewis or Linnea.

Lewis, will you come up and get the urn?

Insane.

What the...

I'll go tally the votes.

I'll read the votes.

Linnea.

Lewis. One vote Linnea, one vote Lewis.

Linnea.

That's two votes Linnea.

Lewis. We're tied again.

Two votes Linnea, two votes Lewis.

Linnea.

That's three votes Linnea, two votes Lewis.

Lewis.

We're tied again. Three votes Linnea,

three votes Lewis.

Linnea.

That's four votes Linnea, three votes Lewis,

one vote left.

Lewis. We're tied again.

- What? - Wow.

So, we are deadlocked.

Here's what happens now.

- Oh, my God. - Eric, Kilby, Sharonda, and Cristian,

you're gonna have a discussion.

And if you can come to a unanimous agreement

as to whether to send Lewis

or Linnea home, then they go home.

If you cannot come to a unanimous agreement,

Lewis and Linnea are safe,

and the four of you will draw rocks,

and the odd rock out goes home.

So, we are deadlocked.

Here's what happens now.

- Oh, my God. - Eric, Kilby, Sharonda and Cristian,

you're gonna have a discussion.

And if you can come to a unanimous agreement

as to whether to send Lewis or Linnea home,

then they go home.

If you cannot come to a unanimous agreement,

Lewis and Linnea are safe,

and the four of you will draw rocks,

and the odd rock out goes home.

I'll-I'll be fully...

But we were wanting to work with you.

- Yeah, we wanted to work with you. - I didn't know that.

I didn't know that. I wasn't sure.

I gave you so much information, Kilby.

This was... this was an insurance policy

to make sure that I wasn't the vote, straight up.

Okay, then why are you deadlocking?

- Yeah. - 'Cause you're not the vote.

I feel like I'm somebody that,

when somebody puts their neck out for me,

I stand up for them.

And Lewis stood up for me at that last vote.

He stood up for me today.

I get it. You guys have a past.

And you were traumatized with your last night.

Our bond was real.

- Truly. - I... I know.

I am hurt, obviously.

- I'm very surprised. - I know.

But I really meant, like-like, the bond is real.

Guys, this is 51.

- I know. - I know it's 51. - If you got to go

to rocks, you got to go to rocks.

With everything you went through,

you're okay with drawing rocks

and letting this end, possibly, for you?

- And letting your game end? - Yeah.

The odds are better. Like...

- Are they? - Are they, dude?

Who did Lewis have on Toka?

- Truly? - Like,

- that's the thing is... - Can I talk to you

- for just a second? - But like, genuinely, I feel like,

- at this point, it's too late. - No, it's fine.

- It's fine. - It's not too late.

- It's never too late. - It's not too late.

- You're a Survivor player. - Come on, man.

- You told us... - Do you want to draw a rock?

You told us this has been your dream for a long time.

- Yeah. - You're willing to draw a rock?

And part of a dream is, like, standing up on business.

- Yes. - And saying, like...

Not a fearful game. A fearless game.

I came to play fearless.

Everything that you had said is not real.

But I don't think you guys want to draw rocks for this.

- Let's draw rocks, guys. - Kilby, Lewis

is willing to sacrifice your game right now.

Exactly. You see how happy he is?

Yeah, he's putting you on the line.

His whole pitch to us was to get you out.

I said I would draw rocks for Kilby, hands down,

- and he said... - Okay, but you can't right now.

- So... - Yeah, but you can't.

- If it was... - But do you not understand? So, like...

- No, I understand. - If you want to play that game

and you want to go back to where we came from, that's on you.

But I'm telling you, that's a big mistake.

That's crazy.

Lewis, well played, dude.

I'm really honest with you. I do not...

Hey, we did... We're in this together.

It wasn't just me. I was gonna do this for him.

- Yeah. - Listen.

- Your game... All of our game is on the line. - Right.

I don't know what else I could have done or given you.

In trust and personal connection or anything.

You know,

are we gonna stay just, like, a safe game all the way

or are we gonna have a dangerous game?

In what way is this

- a safe game? - Nothing is safe about this.

Yeah, it's safe for you

because you don't have to draw rocks.

It's safe for you guys because you guys are a majority.

It's a safe play.

I'm not opposed to working with you going forward.

I know that's really hard to believe.

You don't have to believe it, but I mean it.

This is Survivor, and it's tricky.

- No, I understand, - I'm gonna go talk to Kilbs.

But you're literally asking Kilby

to give up his game, potentially.

For me, I'm like,

I stand by my friends. Like, that's really how I do this.

- I thought we were friends. - Yeah, same here, Kilby.

I don't know.

I don't know.

- All right. - So, a lot of talking going on.

The decision is really simple.

Do we have a unanimous decision

to send Lewis or Linnea home?

Because if not,

they are safe.

And instead, Kilby, Eric,

Sharonda and Cristian...

the four of you are gonna draw rocks,

and the odd rock is going home.

Kilby, let's start with you.

Is there any chance you could be persuaded

to change your mind and send Lewis home?

- No. - Okay.

So, Kilby's willing to go to rocks.

Eric, Sharonda, Cristian, the decision is simple.

Take out Linnea or

it's a rock draw.

All right. Cristian?

Oh, man.

Oh, man.

- I can't. - I can't, either.

I'm sorry, Linnea.

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, Linnea.

I'm so sorry.

I'm so sorry.

Kilby, you are not sorry.

I'm so sorry, Linnea.

So, I'm gathering we have

a unanimous decision...

that Kilby, Eric, Sharonda and Cristian,

you are going to send Linnea home.

Okay.

Linnea, before you grab your torch...

this is very rare.

What is the feeling right now, Linnea?

This is not what you anticipated when you walked into Tribal.

Definitely not...

I have a lot left to give,

and I had a lot left in the tank.

But I'm proud of how I played.

This is a historic way to go out,

so in that way, I'll make Survivor history.

All right, Linnea,

you become the seventh person voted out of Survivor 51.

- Need to grab your torch. - Wow.

Yeah.

Love you, Eric.

- Love you. - You too, sis.

I don't know if you want a hug, but I really am sorry.

This is so crazy.

So crazy you forgot your torch.

Okay.

- Oh, man. - Oh, Marone.

Linnea, the tribe has spoken.

- Time for you to go. - Good luck, everybody. Have fun.

- Bye, Linnea. - Bye, Linnea.

Grab your torches. Head back to camp.

Good night.

Next time on Survivor...

Aah!

I'm fired up.
