On the 26th of March 1990

Won the 62nd

American Oscar Special Honor Award

The war ceased

This film became a national film

I am the head

Now I announce to increase production

Effective on the first day of next month

The details will be given by the Admin Department

I want to warn you

Now the war is getting hot

We need to increase the production

We need to work hard to meet this goal

In order to maximize the productivity

We need to train up to be the best workers

To obey the discipline, to be loyal

So as to increase the productivity

Please remember these words

After the increase in productivity

To let you do your duty

To train up yourself

I repeat

Increase the productivity, train up your will

The future of our country

If the weapons of light are not developed, there is no great weapons

Please remember, that is

The head just now has expressed a clear message

Let me explain the details

The increase in productivity will last for 4 months

The goals are as follows

10% for men, 50% for women

You can't do that

Calm down

Don't argue

However

You don't argue

What is the hell today?

Why am I nervous?

Any reasons?

Just tell me

It's the ratio between men and women

The head said clearly just now

Although it is painful today

The best people can get through

Think about it for the men

Just to reach an half of their production

Ask the head

For her opinion. Are you Tao?

Please calm down to walk

Hut Study Room

No unauthorized persons

It's my first time to see a workshop without discipline

Sorry

You don't need to apologize

I should do this

Some said you were unhappy with the arrangement

Yes

It's in accordance with their ability

I don't think it's not right

We think that is unfair

Our work for the country can't be ignored

The productivity can be increased

Although we can't be compared with the men

At least we wish to reach two third of theirs

Please approve

Don't be happy

Celebrate if you can meet the goal

Don't think it's easy to do

Always feel unsatisfied and annoying

This attitude can't meet the requirement

Tao, let's sing

She is still angry

Her left shoulder will be lifted up when she's angry, look

Tao, are you still angry?

Needless to say

Left right...

Three four one...

More than four hundred provinces to fight against the enemies

More than 100 thousand soldiers

The country is facing constraints

Yuen Year 4 summer

We're never scared

Men protect the family

Women campus of Light

The spirits for the country

Smart troops

Holy spirits

Everyone is angry and the tide waves

For the revenge

To kill the enemies

Even though there are 3 soldiers left

It'll be the victory soon

Great

You look very handsome today

It's very happy today

Talk about it later

The teacher of the band is coming

Just say hello to the parent

Dad and mum, I am back

Back

Dad, mum, grand mum, I am back

Go away

What? You make people jealous

Everybody falls in at the room, except the kitchen men

Be alert, ready to play

Three hits of the drum, then let's go

Step far, stand up

Play the song of the country, understand

Start

Teacher

Teacher

He's not here.

So good smell

Today is the ceremony of teacher husband's death

The chapters we need to obey today

Is always to have a loyal heart

Respect the God forever

Take care of your parents

And. Don't be naughty

Treat others with sincere

To work hard

We are girls

To fight against the British and American enemies

Let the children inherit this spirit

We swear

At the time of increasing productivity

Follow the troop

Follow the General Shan

Follow the Troop K

Increase the productivity, to fight against the enemies

Here is also a war place

You go back to the workshop

No wonder

If we don't let the pupils do the same job

We can't let them have the same feeling.

You should look further

What if any pupils feel sick?

The health reports are available now

A men called Hou

Although there isn't any trouble

Doctor said her bones needed attention

Don't talk about this boring things

Never mind. No

Your bones are not good

Wait, I am measuring my temperature

It's 7.4 degrees

It's a little bit hot

You are healthy, the diseases are scared of you

My bones are vulnerable

Hou's temperature is 36.5 degrees

Other pupils are OK

Parents are in the garden

Having a rest

This mirror needs your attention

So quite

The children's absence makes here so quiet

It is so comfortable

Oh, there is someone

Yes, she is not feeling comfortable

Who's the chick? It should be Hou

You should be shocked

It's Ling feeling sick

How come it's Ling?

Work hard, to get rid of the sickness

More than four hundred provinces fight against the enemies

More than 100 thousand soldiers

The country is facing constraints

Yuen Year 4 summer

Sorry

Needless to apologize

However

Don't worry about the work

There are still other classmates

They can be your models

Take a rest, get well soon

Sorry to trouble you all

Don't say that

Remember the time we first arrived here?

We all brought some home soil

Only you didn't

I always bring this with me

Dad said there was plenty of soil in Tokyo

I told him that it's to remember my home

I wish to use this to build a garden

I can remember

Then he sent a small bag of soil

Dad is such a wild man

Now this soil is colorful

All because of the workers

Don't tell my home that I am sick

Why do you say that? Please

Have you told them?

This is my responsibility

What happened?

I won't go back

What?

You calm down first

Even if my family come to pick me up, I won't go back

What are you saying?

How can you go back because of this?

No, I understand them

It's hard for me to arrive Tokyo

Dad is stubborn, he won't give up

Calm down first

I never go back

I want to stay here to work

What is that?

Sorry, coming back

Pass the work to Tao

Take it easy, the work is not important

Shan, Sai, Siu, thank you

Don't worry

My machine is shaking seriously

If a new man is coming to replace me

Don't say that, just get well and come back

This is Ling's flute.

Give her

Can't we see her off?

I'll take her to the station

Tao

The band teacher asked me to give you

Just put it here

Take care. Come back soon

Write to me

And come back soon

Good bye

Good bye

Good bye

Ling's is so pity

I also want to go home

Don't cry

Just work hard

We need to work hard

What are you doing? The water is not open

The goal and the result

It's not bad, the women work so hard

But the future is not easy

This is the struggle for the four months

Obviously they can't do it

Thus there wasn't any big problem at the beginning

They may not be strong enough to face the impact

This is true

The work on the rest day

Do cleansing, ironing

Sun shining, but don't put it under the roof

Can see the Fuji mountain

The home is so close

Stupid, your home is at the opposite side

Siu

Shan, be careful

Shan

Shan

Shan

Sorry

Luckily you hands are not hurt

Work now if you can use a stick to do

Go back to work immediately

You don't feel sad

Don't worry about work

Yes, just take a rest

It's not rational

We have tried our best

It's not reasonable to just blame us

It's not true

Tao doesn't mean that

He just said Shan didn't do very well

However...

Just be alert

It's disgraceful if we can't meet the target

This is not a problem of face

It's the problem of responsibility

Don't quarrel with our friends

It's the most important to increase the productivity

That aero plane is also carrying our products

You have the same voice as the head

Now is the most important time, the work is smooth

It's over

Don't be emotional, no proud no hurry

Be relaxing

Sometimes it needs to relax

One to zero

Sorry. Work hard

Let's play

Who is shooting? Yee

I can't

Don't be nervous

Just try your best

Yee work hard

Quiet

Yee, we need your spirit

Harder

The winter is coming, you have to take care

And don't forget to be loyal

Be careful of the cold

It's hot

The body is weak

You wish to take care of mum at home

Now the workshop is struggling

You are the head of youngsters, be responsible

Your mum understands this

Forget about serving mum

You don't need to go home

Ignore any other things

Just work for the public

The parents feel the same

Just write to home

Your mum wishes you to take care, father

Teacher

Teacher

The trains time table

Teacher, I am coming to measure the temperature

Isn't teacher here?

Tell me. How much?

6.5 degrees

It's 4.6 degrees

It's not hot

How are you?

Nothing

You look strange

How come?

What are you lying to me?

Nothing

Measure again

Tyo wait for five minutes

In fact I am having fever every day

It's nothing, it's not hard

Please keep the secret for me

If they know this, they'll ask me to take a rest

I am really OK

Ling and Shan are not here

But Shan. Please

Talk about this after their return and the period

Please keep the secret for me

It's so jealous of you

You are here

I just went to visit Shan

She looked OK, and said hello to you

You wait a moment

What?

It's Shan's temperature

How much?

6.5 degrees

It's OK

Anything else?

Nothing

"Peter Island"

"Ka Rocks"

"Lu O"

Work hard

Never mind? Take a rest

It's OK

The children are quiet recently

We can't hear their laugh

Right

When Shan comes back

Everyone will be active again, that's OK

They are also tired

Very tired

The hands are burnt

Kwong, what's time now?

What are you doing?

Always look at the time

Thanks

Get it back again?

Disgusting, always hurt others

Don't be anxious

Anxiety can't work

Who?

Really want to take a train home

Mum

Work hard

Harder

10 to 16. Harder

I can't play this game

It's like playing football

I don't care, you guys play

Kong

How's the guy who plays drum?

It's not rhythm, try again

Three four

Just need something more

This is the last constraint

But it's always tiring

The body is ruined

Perhaps we can sustain it

Really no way out

They proposed to set the goal higher

I want to fulfill their will

I am afraid that they'd just work if they are constrained

This is to let them recover confidence

Anyway it's the first time to challenge

I have an idea

The critical moment mentioned by the head

I think we'd be optimistic

This may be strange

I am confident of the children. Why?

They have an excellent captain

Tao is an outstanding captain

And Shiu is an excellent teacher

Shiu is looking for you

Sorry to keep you waiting

Do you want to work at the workshop?

I want to have a vacation

Please sit down

This is a critical moment now

If you are not here, the children can't work

Tao is still here

It's a pity for her to take all over

Just for a few days

Where are you going?

To Ling's home

Here is a letter from her

She said she's recovered, but her parents didn't let her go

The morale will be high if she can come back

It's the same as the time Shan returned

For Ling and for everyone

I am not good enough, let's go

Please invite Tao to here. No thanks.

Just give her Ling's letter

Now it's still enough time for catching the express train

Good

I like the way you trust your pupils

Since they are all good guys

Tin, why are you stunned?

You look, the base is dry

Sorry

Sorry can't do anything

The products will be finished if it happens again

Kong

Enough?

I can't ignore it

She has apologized

However...

She'll delay the progress

You look

Tao, shit

Don't come in

You can't come in

However. Don't argue

This is not my own job

It'll delay the progress if something goes wrong

But Kong just had a quarrel with Fok

Please be the middleman

What happened? In fact...

Time to get off, talk about it later

My result is bad today

Sorry to disturb

No sorry

Take it easy

Be patient

I'll solve their quarrel later

Thanks. Thanks

We depend on you

You need to be alone for a few days

It's OK, anyway there'll be prizes from Ling

You don't pretend not care

It used to be famous of fox

When it gets dark, the foxes come out

Don't bull shit

Just to see how can they go into the campus

Don't pretend good. Catch them to eat

The grand mum said the foxes were powerful

How can a technician be misleading?

You are having a conflict

Right?

Why don't Kong and Fok talk?

You are so naughty

Don't care about others' feeling

Stand in the garden and recall what you did

They are so tired

I am not tired. Don't be that

You haven't combed up for a few days

And became more impulsive

To be hot tempered for little things

You can say what you want

Anyway who initiated the case?

It's you, just to ask the others to work

Kong

It's Tao for her own sake

How come?

You are wrong

She put all the blame on me

Just to protect whom she likes

Kong

You say again

I am not biased?

I haven't protect those I like?

Don't argue

I can't remember I have done that

Really talking the truth?

Never do that

Let me count for you

You care about Shan specially

Don't let her work overtime, nor to do exercise

Just watch when playing the volleyball

She seems admitted

Tao, you say something

You must have reasons

Shan has been weak

That's right

Teacher needs to measure her temperature daily

Every time it's correct

Tao, say something

Tao

Tao, say something

Tao

You stop

I tell you

I tell you the reasons

Don't misunderstand Tao

Hou. I must say that

Honestly I have a fever every day

Only Tao knows this secret

I can't work if the teacher knows

So I asked Tao to keep this secret

You also don't tell others

Talk about it after the period

Everybody hears that

Tao, you try to be angry

Let the anger run

No thanks

You can scold them

Today I can't

Why?

We all support you

I am not qualified. Why?

I feel disgraceful

It's not your responsibility

I know it'd happen

The teacher won't leave us alone

Ling can't imagine we'd quarrel

Just read Ling's letter for everyone

How are you teacher and classmates?

Here is all snow everywhere

My body is getting good after coming home

But my parents don't let me go

like what teacher said

The troops protect the country

How can we ignore?

Sorry to give you troubles

I praise for you, everyday

I miss you very much

I can't forget the band and the work

And the pleasure life

Who?

It's me

I thought it's a fox

Fox?

What are you coming for?

I am sorry to you. It's all my fault

I need to say apologies

I should say this

For example the garden

The soil has our ancestors' blood

This is our land

It's running well

Our family

Is working hard

The children are playing without worries

The pets run and tell the joys

The horses are strong

The good smell of this land

Makes me recall the scene

My childhood appears again

Walking on the land with bare foot

To feel the love from mum

It's like going home

The soil has our ancestors' blood

This is our land

Ling

I am back, I am healthy

Where is teacher? Of course he's back

What happened?

All shit around, shit

The water is freezing

What is the time now?

It's three hours after the time to sleep

Tao

Where is Tao?

Teacher. It's all my fault

It's our fault. I am the sinner

What happened? -Tao...

How' she? Where is she?

She is still working

A unfinished mirror is dropped

We found it last night

I shouldn't go to disturb her. We are wrong

It should be me to make her lost the mirror

Tao, shit

The mirror was there

I think she must have forgotten

And she picked up another one to check

She looked very tired at that time

It's our fault

No quarrel

Tao worried about us

Then to make a mistake

What happened then?

She's worried about making a bad weapon

Now she's like mad

And it's about the increase in productivity

Don't do that

You haven't taken a rest

And she wants to keep working

Just calm down first, no worries

My negligence will kill the troop

Don't think it that way

We'll check once again

Go to rest

No

Anyway I can't sleep

However

Please

Don't let me go back

I must find the mirror

It's worth 2000 dollars

In addition to today's check

We checked it yesterday and the day before

Still some time for rest

It's freezing

Tao, be careful to get cold

Let's go

It's my fault to be proud

It's not bad to have a test sometimes

Let's go

How?

Tao

Sorry to make you worried

Thank you

Tao has tried her best, just say something to encourage her

Thank you, it must be freezing

Ling has come back

You cried? Your eyes are red

Stupid, just being tired

You'll get cold

Ling, you can't be sick again

Go to take a rest, sleep for a while

It's a critical period

Work hard, only 15 days left

Hurry to go home, don't think it again

Bring some personal stuff

A letter from your dad

Your mum is dead of sickness

He asked us to tell you

To come back at the right time

However... I never go back

We wish you to go back

To do something

I have decided

Obviously you are great

We understand your dad's feeling

However

You'd better go home

Tao, don't be stubborn

No matter what happened

Mum asked me not to go home for personal reasons

Teacher, please let Shan take a rest

She has a fever everyday

Please approve

Tao

You are a good kid

You are mature

I have been worried

Tao's personality is strong

I wish her to be more mild

However she's now...

Knowing how to be understanding

Freshly green

Bright green

Sharp green

Rich green
