Juan, it's your favorite nanny Kayla.

There's my favorite nanny.

Hi, how have you been?

I've missed you so much. Wow, the place looks different.

Have you been keeping it clean?

Remember how I taught you to always put your toys away?

So what have you been up to? Have you just been playing on your phone?

Remember Juan, I told you you're supposed to answer people when they talk

to you.

Remember?

I bet you can't catch me.

What? Oh, Juan!

Oh, Juan, you're so silly.

So how's everything been at school? Have you been making friends?

What? What do you mean?

Juan, don't make a mess.

Who's going to clean this up?

Not me. I don't care.

Yes, you're going to have to clean it up, Juan. No, I'm not.

Cousins are meant to be.

Hey, get back here.

Oh, Juan.

You're so silly.

Okay.

Now stop moving, Juan.

You stay right there.

I want to hear everything about your school and your friends and everything.

I don't want to talk about my friends.

What? I hate school.

What do you mean?

You're always so active. I'm surprised you don't love school.

Oh, Juan, you're always so funny.

Okay, well, I'm going to need to know everything.

What about your teachers?

What about them?

Um, I mean, are you learning?

Yeah. Okay, good.

I'm so excited for you to do really, really well in school because I taught

you so much, Juan.

Okay, so what's your favorite part of school?

Coming home.

Um, what about while you're there?

Lunch.

Lunch? Oh, that's nice. Do you have a lot of friends to sit with?

Yeah. Yeah?

That's so nice. Have any of your friends come home with you from school?

No. No?

Is it because you're too active, Juan?

Yeah.

Yeah, you need something to keep you busy.

I feel like I'm the right nanny because I can always keep you busy. I'm like,

look at you right now. You're doing so well sitting still.

It's great.

Are your teachers doing well keeping you still?

No.

Well,

sometimes teachers do have a little bit of learning they need to do themselves

to make sure kids like you do really well in school.

What about at lunch? Where are you sitting? Are you sitting with everybody

or just one or two kids?

By myself.

No, not by yourself, Juan. You've got to sit and make a good group together.

And when you see somebody you know, and if you know their name, then you can

just sit right next to them.

Right?

Yeah. Okay, well, don't get distracted, Juan, because there's so much learning

to do at school, and it's really important that you grow up to be a

really amazing young man.

So, don't forget, always make sure you're ready to learn.

And you're ready to make friends.

And anything you can do to keep yourself busy and maintaining being, like, you

know, happy and organized and making sure you get all of your schoolwork

done. And anything you can really do to make sure you can do that is really

important. Yeah.

You're paying attention, right, Juan?

Yeah. Okay, don't get distracted because sometimes you do get really, really

distracted. And it's really important to pay attention.

Now, you have what?

Seven day break from school?

Yeah. Okay, you're not going to just destroy the whole entire house while

you're off, right?

Yeah. Okay, good. Because I'm sure your parents really want you to be on your

best behavior while you're home.

That's why I'm here.

To make sure the house doesn't get completely destroyed.

But at least you're sitting still right now. I think that's the most important

thing. Yeah.

Right? Mm-hmm.

Okay. I want to make sure you have lots of fun today. We'll be organized, but

also have fun. Yeah.

Yeah. And you know what else? We can make lunch. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And then we

can watch a movie and maybe we can do some schoolwork.

Yeah.

Okay, well, it's really important that we have nap time today.

So before nap time, I'll read you a really good story, get you all really

relaxed, so that way when your parents come home, you won't have so much

energy. I don't want to take a nap.

Well, that's fine. You won't want to take a nap right now, but after you lay

down, you really want to be taking a nap. You'll be tired.

So come on, let's go.

Right this way.

Juan, what happened in your parents' bedroom?

What? I was having fun.

I know, but they can't come home and see this. They're going to fire me and

they're going to be mad at you.

So we have to make sure we clean all of this up.

But first, let's do the story time.

I have the perfect book. I just have to make sure

that everything's situated.

And this is a really, really good one. I really think you're going to like it.

So I'm glad you're already getting into it.

And there's actually some really, really funny comedy in this book. So I think

you're going to like it.

Oh my God. And there's like three different parts.

The second part always used to make me laugh. So I think you're really going to

like it.

I'm glad that you're interested in something today.

But this is going to be a really, really good book.

There's actually 11, 12 chapters.

So I guess we can just start at the beginning. I don't think we'll have

enough time to read it all.

I mean, I guess we can just keep going and keep going and then... Oh, and

there's even some pictures in here.

So I know you're going to enjoy that.

Hmm.

I don't remember this part.

Oh my God.

Oh, why?

It was so much to this book.

Hmm.

Well, I'm glad you're staying busy while I look over this book. I need to make

sure that I have everything.

Hmm.

Okay. Come on, Ron.

Let's get started with this.

It's such a good one.

Okay.

The first chapter.

Such a good one.

Um, you know what? I was wondering how much time we actually had to read this

book based on everything that just happened in this room.

Hmm.

Well, I think we have at least 10 minutes, right?

10 minutes and then we'll clean for about 10 minutes.

Or maybe it'll take me 15 minutes. I'm not even sure.

Oh my gosh.

Okay, let's see here.

There was a long, long, long forest, and I wanted to go deep

into it.

Such a good one.

There were so many different animals running all across the forest.

He kept getting closer and closer to it, but no matter what, as soon as he'd get

up to the bunny, the bunny would just run faster.

So the only thing he'd do is just keep running and keep running faster and

faster and faster.

But he never could keep up with the bunny. He just kept seeing the furry

little tail behind it.

Then he spotted something else.

It was deep, deep into the forest.

Oh my God, this is such a good one, right?

He didn't know what it was, but he realized that it was flying.

So he was so interested and he just kept following and following the bird.

Oh, and it was such a beautiful bird. He just wanted to touch it so bad, but it

just kept going faster and faster. And then the bird was gone.

He thought, no, this next one I'm going to catch. All I want to do is touch it.

So he looks over and he spots a deer.

Oh my God. He wanted to touch that deer so bad. But as soon as the deer saw him,

he started running through the forest.

But of course, he knew he was going to catch this deer.

So he kept walking.

Then he was running and sprinting after this deer.

And what do you know? He got so close to the tail, reached his hand out and

almost touched it.

But then the deer ran too fast and it was gone.

He knew the next time he was going to see an animal, he was definitely going

to touch it.

He looked over and he spotted something.

It looked so furry, so nice, that all he wanted to do was catch it.

So he hid at first, waited for it to be just right there next to the

water. Then he crept up really, really, really slow, put his

hand out, and there it was.

He started touching it.

To his surprise, he realized it was a unicorn.

Oh my God, he was so excited to touch this unicorn.

All he wanted to do is sit on the unicorn and then ride the unicorn all

around the forest.

But the unicorn realized that's what he wanted to do. So the unicorn took off

and started running.

Oh no.

And once again, he couldn't catch the animal that he wanted to touch.

But he realized that he saw another animal.

Oh my God. But this one, he couldn't tell what it was.

He got closer and closer and realized, oh my God, there's a cat in the forest.

He was so excited because he knew this precious little kitty was going to let

him pet it. And that cute pussycat was so ready.

So it started purring.

And he was so excited that he picked the cat up, started kissing it, and they

decided to walk through the forest together.

He knew that this cat didn't belong in the forest, but he wanted to make sure

that cat got home so safe.

So he grabbed the cat and just kept walking further and further in the

forest with the cat, knowing that he was going to make sure that cat got home

safe. Aw.

Well, finally, you're relaxing. You're calm. Look at you.

I knew this was the perfect book.

Write like that.

You're doing so well today.

Such a good one.

Every time I read this story, it seems like there's a different ending.

I almost forgot.

Oh my god, I can't even believe that I forgot this part.

Oh yeah.

This book is so good.

Oh no, I forgot that part again.

It's always been my favorite book.

Oh yeah, that part!

Wow, this always gets so good when I get here.

Well, this book really made you calm.

I have another idea.

Come here.

Hmm.

hmm hmm hmm

Oh my God, I forgot about the hearts.

Oh my God, it's getting so

good.

Wow, this is unbelievable.

They did such a good job writing this.

clean.

It's a jersey.

Hmm.

Thank you.

No. No.

For you.

Hmm.

Hmm.

Hmm.

Go ahead.

Hmm.

hmm hmm

Okay, it's time to lay you down and put you to sleep.

Oh, fuck yes. Oh, fuck.

Oh, fuck.

Well, story time's over.

Good night.
