Original subtitles

- This is the e-Demon Resistance Network.

It is one of our missions to expose the truth

of what really happened the night of The Quad Murders.

Rumors and conspiracy theories are running wild.

- While we are getting some conflicting reports,

a fuzzy picture is emerging of what

some have dubbed The Quad Murders.

Now what we know for sure, four former college

friends who graduated about nine years ago

were all involved in multiple homicides

within about an hour of each other.

Now what's really stumping investigators,

the homicides took place all across the

nation, thousands of miles apart.

- Residents are on high alert after the gruesome

discoveries of last night's murders here in Ohio,

to Seattle Washington, to New York City,

and even in Salem, Massachusetts.

- The internet is abuzz with different theories on what

happened and tales are being spun at the water cooler.

(reporter crosstalk)

- Other than that, we just don't know.

- We need to cut through all the noise.

Here's the truth.

The night of the so called Quad Murders,

a demon on a twisted mission was released.

I promised Kendra I'd warn people.

And so I started the resistance.

We've grown.

And we need you to help us defeat the e-Demon.

To get you on board, we want you

to see the truth for yourself.

What you're about to see is the actual web

recording of what happened that night.

(rock music)

(web chat ringing)

- Is everyone there, I can't see you, can you hear me?

- Yup (mumbles) I can hear you, but I can't see you.

There you are.

- Hey Kendra, check out my new caps.

- Yikes.

Wow, well if you're going for a Carol Channing

look, then you look really good, if it's, what's that

dude's name, Tanning Chatum, then maybe not so much.

- [Dwayne] I know you did, I know you did.

- I didn't think we were gonna be on tonight, yay!

- [Dwayne] What, come on now, you know me.

- Eva, you are a braver and stronger woman than I am.

- [Dwayne] Kendra says you're like a superhero, baby.

- Girl power!

Unite!

- Yes, unite!

- [Dwayne] Booo, get outta here,

girl power, come here, come here.

Listen to me, listen to me, okay?

- Yes? - [Dwayne] We're gonna make a deal all right?

You promise daddy you're gonna behave yourself,

then maybe, just maybe, I'll let you play with

this nice little Bluetooth your uncle AJ sent.

- Okay, carefully, kids.

- [Dwayne] Five, give me five on it.

All right.

Be good, okay?

- They're so cute.

- [Dwayne] Baby do you mind?

- Have fun. I'll be in as soon as the girls are asleep.

- Thank you.

Be good, girls.

All right?

We need to get this started officially, okay?

I need this week to be over right now.

- Yay!

- How's life in the big city, my lady?

- Well I would say that this might

be the best day ever and I hope

that it never ever ever ever ends.

- Nice. - Gentlemen, drum roll.

I may finally be getting published.

- Oh god, that's great, kiddo!

- Nice! - Thank you.

- That's what I'm talking about, see I knew

that you'd get it done, all right?

Now we actually have something to drink to.

- Yes! - To silly dreams.

- To silly dreams.

- Cheers boys. - Cheers.

(web chat ringing)

- Speaking of silly and needing a drink.

- I heard that.

(laughter)

- How's moms and pops, Mar?

- Oh they're good, they're fine, I mean

you know this thing is just temporary.

- Speaking of my vast wealth, have you

peasants received the headsets I sent you?

Now you guys get to see the new renovations.

So we're actually sitting in the

extension, from here to here is all new.

- Oh my god, wow.

- [AJ] The lighting, I flew in a guy from

Berlin, an installation artist.

He designed the whole thing.

Every light fixture, every lamp.

- Wow.

- [AJ] The kitchen, my lovely marble.

My lovely marble.

Kyle, you all know Kyle, my personal assistant.

- Hey Kyle.

- [AJ] Hey hey, this is so funny, watch this, watch.

(laughter)

I pay him enough.

And the lovely lovely lovely Vianca.

Give me that neck, give it to me.

- She looks a lot like the last one.

- [AJ] Hey, be nice.

Wave to my friends, Vianca.

- Hi.

- [AJ] I love her!

Okay, and this.

This is my baby.

This I got a couple weeks ago, I'm actually

taking lessons from a concert pianist.

- Okay, okay.

- [AJ] You'll get a kick out of this.

To get it in the house, I had to hire a crane.

- AJ, I guess that means you got a big dick huh?

- [AJ] What the fuck, Mar?

- I mean I'm sure your constant need

to rub your riches in our faces has

nothing to do with your tiny penis.

- Guys, let's just keep the evening light okay?

I can't take any... - Light!

Light, I like light, light is good.

Yes, light, it's like little miss bottled bleach.

Welcome to another exciting

edition of AJ's Fuckhole of the Week.

- Ooooh.

- You know, I'm gonna pretend you didn't

say that Mar because I feel so sorry for you.

- Look, Mar's just super drunk, all right?

AJ, he doesn't know what he's saying.

- Hey Mar, I know you're fucking hurting,

but just take it down a notch.

- I'm not fucking hurting, what the

hell are you talking about?

- What you talking about?

Can I say it guys?

You're 30 years old, you somehow failed

as a community center psychiatrist and

had to move back home with mommy and daddy.

- No, no, that is bullshit, I am

back here because my parents need my help.

- Oh you're doing it for them?

- Yeah, don't fucking... - Guys, guys, guys, just stop!

Okay?

Anybody who interrupts me will get a

personal ass-whooping from me, I swear

to God, I will hop on a plane!

I just need everybody to just fucking chill man, just stop!

Okay?

- Okay, am I allowed to talk yet Dwayne?

(laughter)

- If everyone is cool man, just go.

- I'm good.

- Got me being the parent to y'all.

- It's my turn for a tour, boys and girls.

This way you can all see the truth of why I'm really here.

- Mar, you don't have to prove anything to us.

- [Mar] Here to keep an eye on everyone.

Hey mom.

Say hey to the old college gang.

- Hey kids, it's been a long time.

- [Mar] That's all for now, thanks mom.

She's losing her marbles dealing with

all the wackadoodles in this house.

Suzie being the exception of course.

- [Kendra] Oh Mar, take us into the kitchen.

I wanna congratulate Suzie on getting in.

- [AJ] Ooh ooh, tell her that I

said she's filling out nicely.

- [Kendra] AJ!

- [Mar] Hey hey hey, easy.

Hey Suzie, Kendra says congrats

on your early acceptance to Harvard.

- Thank you, Kendra.

- [AJ] Who's the boy toy?

- [Mar] Suzie's boyfriend.

Also Harvard bound.

- [AJ] Oooh, maybe she'll finally pop that cherry.

- [Mar] Hey hey hey, easy AJ.

- [Kendra] You are cruising for a bruising, AJ.

- [Mar] You're talking about an Ivy Leaguer there.

Following in her big bro's footsteps.

- Well except you went to Ohio State, man.

The Ohio State University!

- Go Buckeyes!

Go Buckeyes!

- Buckeyes!

- Just like the rest of us boy, don't ever forget that.

- [Mar] Anyway, anyway.

Prepare to witness the actual reason why I moved back home.

My family has two superstar crazies.

These nutjobs are why I'm here.

Got a gift for you buddy.

Think you're gonna like this one.

Noogie!

Noogie for freaks, Bastion!

- Just because you're back at home Mar doesn't mean you're back in high school, all right?

- Burn.

- Gamma, you fell asleep.

- Is she dead?

- Gamma?

Gamma?

Gamma?

(shrieks)

I'm here, Gamma.

What do you need?

- [Mar] Gamma, tell me the story of the cursed trunk.

- It's very important that I

tell you about the cursed trunk.

- Oh goodie goodie goodie, yes Gamma, please, please.

Tell me the story of the cursed trunk.

- Mar's just playing a joke on you Gamma,

you've told us about the trunk many times.

- It's dreadfully important that you know about this.

- Okay.

If it'll make you feel better you can tell me again, Gamma.

- Right here in Salem, Massachusetts, 1693.

My great great great great grandmother

was killed for practicing witchcraft.

Chanting in tongues.

When the townsfolk came to drown

her, granny asked her children,

made them promise to guard the trunk.

That trunk contains a powerful evil that must never escape.

And now that trunk, that cursed trunk,

it's being kept, it's where?

- It's in our attic.

And we're never to touch it.

- Some of the psychiatrists in our family

think that granny just went mad.

But they're just twits who don't

know their ass from their elbow.

- Okay Gamma, I know.

Do you feel better now?

- Listen, child.

It's your responsibility.

Guard it.

Don't let it out.

Or the end of days will come.

You must promise me, Bastion.

Bastion.

- I promise, Gamma.

(Mar laughs)

- [Mar] Crazy little Bastion actually believes this crap.

- We're gonna let you rest now Gamma, okay?

(Mar laughing)

- [Mar] Too good, too good.

A couple of whole lotta crazies.

- Just because you don't get it doesn't make us the crazy ones.

A little help here, Suzie?

- Uh, yeah, Bastion and Gamma

are kinda the freak show around here.

- Ooh burn. - Screw you both.

- [Mar] Hey, watch the backtalk, bro.

I'll stick some (mumbles) onto your cereal.

- Are you serious?

Tell mom I'm going to Comic World.

- [Mar] Gonna run away to Comic World?

Run away to Comic World?

(laughs)

- Did I mention to you guys, did I make

it clear that I made peace with my

decision to break up with Mar back in Ohio?

(laughter)

- [Mar] Get this, Bastion's only friend in

this whole wide world is this 50 year old

black dude who owns a comic book store

and happens to think he is a witch.

- [AJ] Sounds right.

- [Mar] Now do you guys see why I

have to help out around this nuthouse?

- [AJ] Make a right into Suzie's room.

Maybe we'll catch her in her panties.

- [Kendra] She's 18.

- [AJ] Awesome, right?

No longer jail bait.

- [Kendra] You're gross.

- [Dwayne] AJ, you suck.

- [Kendra] AJ, you are really pushing my buttons.

Maybe I should just tell your new girl

Vianca some of your more infamous chapters.

- [AJ] Kendra, don't cross that line.

- [Ma] Wait.

I wanna show you all something.

(chuckles)

This, this.

This is the trunk that Gamma was talking about.

- Ooo, spooky.

- [Mar] Spooky huh?

- Why is the trunk open, Mar?

- [Mar] Suzie, you gave me a heart attack.

- [Suzie] Why is the trunk open, Mar?

- [Mar] I grinded the lock off yesterday.

See? - Mar, knock it off!

Okay, I got it, I got it!

- [Mar] The sky isn't raining fires,

frogs, or some shit, so just relax, tightass.

- Stop it! - [Mar] Screw that end of days crap, I know what I'm doing.

Looks like a red star on a mirror.

- Heptagram, Mar.

- [Mar] Oh relax.

- Okay.

- Okay, I'm telling mom, Mar.

- [Mar] Wait, Suzie.

Come here, come here.

Ah, our ancestor's spell book.

Skimmed it yesterday.

Now I am ready to show you some tricks.

Some gobbledygook.

Look over here.

- Hey, it's me.

- [Mar] By holding the picture of AJ,

I have potential power over his soul.

Check out this old voodoo doll.

- You know, we're joking around here,

but I love the whole AJ doll thing,

I think we could really market those.

Kyle!

It could have different outfits, like CEO AJ...

- [Suzie] Can you maybe just put everything

back in the trunk, I'm not gonna

tell anyone, I'm not gonna tell mom.

- Vacation AJ, power meeting AJ, power fucking AJ.

No, I think that people really buy shit like this.

- [Mar] Pay attention, pay attention!

- Oh sorry, my bad.

AJ doll.

Go ahead, do your little show.

- I like this, this is getting good,

we haven't done a freakout in forever, man.

- [Mar] This isn't a prank.

This one's for real, old pals.

It's called reflective black magic.

- Bullshit, okay, here we go.

Reflective black magic.

Okay, here we are.

Yes, photographs are the mirror with a memory,

blah blah blah, chanting phrases.

See, according to this you're doing it wrong, Mar.

You need to speak Latin.

- [Mar] I know that AJ, you asshole.

All right.

(speaking foreign language)

- [Suzie] Wait, don't! (glass shatters)

- Oh great, Mar. Another seven years of bad luck to match your last seven.

Nothing happened.

I didn't feel a thing, buddy.

You must've done it wrong as usual.

(Mar speaking foreign language)

Ow!

- [Kendra] Oh god, this is child's play.

- Motherfucker!

Kyle! Vianca, get away from me!

- Got him.

Damn, you guys really planned this one out huh?

That was good.

- Give me this.

(speaking foreign language)

(bone cracks)

- [Suzie] Oh my god!

Oh my god, I'm gonna be sick!

- Holy shit!

- I'm gonna be sick.

Ooh, ow.

- [Mar] Is your life not perfect enough?

Do you really have to keep pushing the rest of us down, AJ?

- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that.

(Mar shouting in foreign language)

(Kendra's door banging)

- [Kendra] Hello? Oh my god.

What? - They made us do it.

- Taylor and Fawn?

- Please don't hate us. - They got both of you in on this prank?

- We weren't finished yet.

Nothing fucking goes right.

(laughter)

- [Kendra] You guys are grounded!

- Holy shit.

They may have spoiled the prank, but Mar's reaction.

- What? - [AJ] It's so worth it.

- I'm actually shocked.

- [AJ] Sorry guys.

- No dude, that was amazing, I can't

believe you got these idiots in on it.

- Holy shit, I got my money's worth.

You got freaked!

- All right, you got me. All right, you got me, I'll admit that shit.

That was good. I did not expect that at all, man.

- That was amazing!

That was some really really good planning.

My god.

Wait a second, you guys, so are you

telling me the whole Mar hating on

AJ thing, that was just part of the freakout?

- [Mar] I got nothing but love for my man AJ.

- Back at you, Mar-bar.

- Wow. - [Mar] Suzie, you all right?

- Yeah, I cut my foot on the mirror.

- Mar, make sure she's really okay.

- [Mar] Are you okay?

- Yeah, I'm fine.

- [Mar] All right.

- See, that is where my cashflow comes in handy.

I shelled a pretty penny for Mar's busted limb there.

I'm gonna change my shirt,

I'll be back to gloat in a minute.

- Plus we had some other accomplices.

Vianca and Kyle and my baby sis.

All in on it.

- Oh my god, you guys, do you remember

all of the ones that we did in college?

Do you remember the one when I chopped off my finger?

- I remember. - The severed finger.

- I remember the college pranks.

What's my favorite?

Yo, you remember the haunted boat?

- Yes! - Yes, I very much do.

(laughter)

- Yeah, and when we ran over that dummy on the road?

- The hit and run.

(laughter)

- Hit and run's classic.

- Oh my god you guys, we did the best shit.

- Hey! - Honestly, whenever I was in a bad mood

in college, I would throw in one of those

freakout videotapes and laugh

my ass off, it was so wonderful.

- Seriously.

- Well lady, you are in luck because I

have been recording this chat from the beginning.

- Shut the, what?

See, that's what I'm talking about.

- If you could be a doll and put a copy

of the streaming file in our shared box

that would be amazing so we could have a

copy for our viewing enjoyment in the future.

- And remember, the night is still young.

(maniacal laugh)

- Got some more tricks up our sleeve.

- Oooooh.

Okay, maybe I will record also

so we can have a double backup.

- Awesome. - May I remind everyone that if it wasn't

for me we wouldn't have any of our freakout tapes.

Not a one.

- That's right.

- How's that, Dwayne? - I'm the one who started recording us,

don't you remember, so we could actually

remember what happened when we sobered up?

- [AJ] Yup.

- Boom, thank you AJ.

- I'm the one who invented freakout in the first place.

- What? No way, I am the one who did the first ever freakout.

- Wrong, no no no no, I came up with it after

taking an abnormal psychology class Sophomore year.

- A month before that I did the

severed hand in the beer cooler.

- All right, all right yeah, but that

was Halloween, that doesn't even count, man.

- What do you mean that doesn't, oh I'm sorry,

I forgot we're using Mar's logic to

determine the origins of freakout.

I don't have the patience for this.

Let's just agree to disagree, okay?

- [Mar] Fine, as long as that means...

(sawblade grinding)

(Mar gasping)

- Suzie!

(screaming)

My eyes!

I can't...

Please stop.

- I don't like this, this is too much.

AJ, make him stop.

- No Kendra, I mean I don't know what's going on.

- Are you not a part of this?

- No.

(Suzie speaking foreign language)

- Fuck.

(Mar gagging)

Holy fuck. - Holy shit man, it's been so long since any one

of us done a freakout and we get two back to back?

No seriously, Mar, he gets extra points for this shit here.

Creepy as hell. - Yeah, I don't know, he just

doesn't really know when to quit.

- Oh please Kendra, that was awesome.

I mean Jesus, it's like a prank within

a prank 'cause I was in on the first part,

had no idea about the second, totally blew my mind.

- Yeah, I don't know, he's taking

it too far, I don't like this.

- Coming from you?

Kendra, you're the one who played

dead for 24 hours doing a freakout.

- That's right. - I mean I have grown up since then

and clearly Mar has not, this is creepy.

- Listen to yourself, you sound like a little old labia.

(laughter)

- Jesus Christ, fine.

- Cut Mar some slack, all right?

He had some extra time on his hands.

- Damn straight, and planning this little thing

was a hell of a lot more constructive than his

usual routine of, what, wacking off to soap operas?

- Ew. I did not need to hear that.

- That's just wrong. - I don't know, maybe I am getting old,

but I don't know, my stomach is in knots...

- Tell us about your publishing gig. - Oh right, your book, what's it called?

The Cock and the Nightstand?

- Cock and the Nightstand, nice.

No, The Parrot and the Teapot, smartass.

- I need to borrow my husband for a minute.

The girls have requested a bedtime story.

- Gotta go, can't wait to read

your story to my girls, Kendra.

- Of course they'll be in college by then.

- Hey, not funny.

- I'm sorry Kendra, but you gotta admit

it's taking a little longer than you thought.

- Okay yes, but... - Hey gang, I need to print something

off this computer, so do you mind if we

shut down the web chat for a little while?

I mean that won't mess anything up will it?

- No, no, not at all, Dr. Guschwald-Petruso.

But hey, is Mar okay, is everything all right?

- Marvin's playing dead up in the attic,

he thinks he's being hilarious.

- Mom, are there anymore brownies?

- Brownies?

- I hid them in the cabinet above the

refrigerator so your father wouldn't eat them.

- Okay, she should not have said brownies.

I'm just gonna go to my little secret stash, be right back.

- So since it's just you and me AJ, I was

wondering if I could ask you something personal.

- Okay, sure.

- All right, now try and focus.

Ever since Marvin moved back home he

has regressed in maturity, he has engaged

in negative attention seeking behavior

and shown a higher incidence of hostility.

As his mother, and as a psychiatrist, I would

really like to ask you to not participate in these

flipouts, or whatever you call them, with him okay?

- First of all, Miss Petruso, Mar came to me with the idea.

Secondly, I didn't know there was a

larger issue with him going on, so...

- Well I would appreciate your understanding.

- Don't worry, I will keep an eye out for him.

Get it?

Eye out?

You don't get it.

- My son's mental health is not a laughing matter,

now I want you to look me in the eye, AJ.

- Okay, yes, I am sorry, Doctor.

I actually really feel bad.

(ominous atmospheric hum)

What's happening?

- Glad it worked. - Glad it worked.

(distant shuffling)

- [Vianca] What are you doing?

Let go!

Let go of me!

Let me go!

- Hello?

AJ?

Dwayne?

Hello?

Awesome.

I am sitting here eating cookies on a web chat by myself.

If those bitches from high school could see me now.

Awesome.

Oh, hi, you back?

- Let go!

Stop!

What are you doing?

- [Kendra] I'm not gonna fall for this, AJ.

- Let go!

(AJ and Kyle speaking foreign language)

- [Kendra] Cut it out, AJ.

You know I don't like rape pranks.

AJ, this joke needs to stop right this second!

I am not fucking around!

Okay, I don't care if this is some

lame prank or stupid ass joke, I'm fucking

calling the Seattle Police Department now!

Call the Seattle Police Department.

- [Smartphone] Calling Seattle Police Department.

(phone ringing)

- [911 Operator] SPD North Precinct, how can I help you?

- Hello?

I'm calling to report two men assaulting

a woman in a Seattle condominium building.

- [911 Operator] Are you currently in danger? - No no no, I'm calling from New York City,

I'm watching this on a webcam.

- [911 Operator] Can you describe what you're seeing?

- I don't know, they're doing some weird, bizarre ritual.

I don't know what they're doing, I don't know.

- [911 Operator] Ritual?

Can you elaborate?

- [Kendra] Okay, they have her pinned down

and they stuffed something into her mouth

and my friend's assistant is recording

her on his phone and looking into her eyes

and he's chanting voralis balume fertili...

Something diablo, I don't know...

- You don't have to call the cops

honey, it's all just fun and games.

- [911 Operator] What is the address Miss?

Miss, are you still there?

- You got freaked!

- [911 Operator] What's the address?

- No, we don't need anyone to come

at this point, I'm sorry, it was a joke.

- [911 Operator] Calling in a prank is illegal.

- I know it's illegal to call in a false report, I realize that, and I'm

sorry, it will not happen again.

- [911 Operator] You're keeping real

emergencies from being addressed.

- I'm sorry for wasting your time.

- Mine too, apologies for me, Kendra.

- Yeah. - [911 Operator] Goodbye.

- Thank you very much.

(laughing)

- AJ, this is so fucking past the line!

- Kendra, lighten up.

- Lighten up? - Yes.

- AJ, do you realize that one out of five women in

America have experienced attempted or completed rape?

Do you realize that, fucking smart guy?

- Wait, so...

God, okay, so you're saying that

this wasn't entertaining for you?

(laughs)

- Fuck you AJ, I'm not wasting my breath on you anymore.

Fuck off! - Don't go angry!

(laughs)

I'm so sorry.

I got lipstick on my face now.

(chanting in foreign language)

- Hey Taylor.

Taylor, over here.

My man.

Check out what's happening on your screen.

What you think?

- Is that happening right now?

This is live?

- Sure is.

Just for you.

- Keep your eyes on me.

- Let me put on some music.

(rock music)

(moaning)

- Suzie, oh my god, are you okay?

What happened?

What the fuck?

(choking)

- All right, Dwayne's taking care of

the girls, that means I get to have my drink now.

I can't believe I missed another prank.

I feel like I always miss out on all the fun.

I want my chance to play freakout.

Where's Kendra?

You're her roommate right?

- Eva, I know how neglected you feel as a woman.

Aw Eva, I know you don't feel desirable anymore,

but you should know I think you're so, so beautiful.

- Did they all put you up to this or something?

- Just watch.

- What are you doing?

- Shhh.

- I shouldn't be here.

- It's okay, Eva.

(muffled screaming and thuds)

- Silly ass Mar still up to it?

If only he'd put so much effort into his job search.

- Dwayne.

- What's up baby? - I feel like you're neglecting my needs.

- I'm sorry baby, you want some ice cream?

- Look into my eyes, honey bear.

- Babe, you know we're right in front of the webcam right?

- So let's go to the bedroom then.

- Wait wait wait, I think I just heard

Teisha, just give me a moment, okay?

(knocking)

- [Taylor] AJ wants to apologize.

- [Kendra] Tell him tough shit.

- [Taylor] He feels really bad.

- [Kendra] Well I don't fucking care.

- [Taylor] Come on Kendra, he's freaking out,

he thinks he might've screwed up

your relationship or something.

He says you're a really important part of his life.

Come on Kendra, be the better person here.

- Give me this.

- Hey gorgeous.

You're not gonna look at me?

Okay, I wanted to admit that the prank

that I pulled with Kyle and Vianca

was inappropriate, completely out

of line and I apologize, okay?

Okay, I recognize that violence against

women is not a laughing matter, I would

not want anyone joking in that

way with my mother or my sister.

- Kendra! Kendra, behind you!

- What are you doing?

Goddammit!

- What the fuck?

- [Kendra] What the fuck are you doing, man?

- What the...

- Get the fuck off me!

No!

Get off of me!

You're hurting me!

No, no!

- This is a freakout right?

- What the fuck?

- No, no, this shit can't be real, hell no!

- Is this a freakout Kendra?

Quit it.

- [Fawn] Are you all right, Kendra? What's going on here?

Oh my god.

Oh my god, we have to call an ambulance.

- All right, but we all saw that it was self-defense right?

We all saw that. - Wait a minute, let's let the authorities handle this.

- AJ what the fuck are you talking about?

That's Kendra we're talking about, that's our friend!

- I understand that Dwayne, but we're

talking accomplices here, okay?

And we're not even sure what's happening yet.

- Are you fucking serious?

- I agree with AJ.

- What is going on with you tonight?

Huh?

What could've set Taylor off

into some violent rage like that?

- Maybe it was a side effect of his medication?

- No no no no, all right, medication couldn't do that.

- Hey, some people just snap like a twig, okay?

- What could make someone just all

of a sudden, like what the fuck?

- I'm feeling queasy now, okay?

I'll be back.

- [Fawn] I'll let the paramedics

in as soon as they get here.

- What the fuck?

Listen to me, everything's gonna be fine, okay?

Taylor's gonna be fine, they're gonna

take him to the hospital, we're recording

so it's clearly self-defense, okay?

- It's true, we're here for you sweetie.

We're here, and I'm so sorry I thought

it was a freakout, I am so sorry,

I didn't mean to joke like that,

but we're here for you now okay?

- Oh my god, what is happening?

This is too much.

This is too much.

- It's gonna be okay, look at us.

It's gonna be okay Kendra, all right?

- My friend is in there, my roommate, he's in there.

What the fuck? - What the fuck!

Fuck him up Kendra, fuck him up!

- What the fuck!

- Dwayne, should we call someone?

What should we do?

Get him!

- Punch, just punch that bitch, punch that bitch!

Punch that bitch!

- Goddamn right!

- Step on his fucking face!

- Okay, okay, you did good sweetie, you did good.

I can't believe you did that shit, man.

I am so fucking impressed by you.

Get those motherfuckers tied up and

we're here for you, all right?

You did wonderfully, you did

beautifully baby, you did sweet.

- Fawn, where are you?

- [Fawn] Out here, in the hallway.

- Fawn.

Why do you have Taylor's cell phone?

- [Fawn] When I let the paramedics in,

they threw me against the wall.

- Why do you have Taylor's cell phone?

- Where are they?

- [Kendra] I tied them up in the bathroom.

- I'm praying that this is just some

fucking freakout, you guys are just

gonna tell me that this is all bullshit, all right?

- I wish I could tell you that,

I mean I don't really understand.

- What the hell is happening to everyone?

- I don't think what happened to

Mar earlier was a prank anymore.

- Wait wait wait, are you telling me

that that shit was real when she attacked Mar?

- Just calm down, okay?

Mar's mom said he was fine, okay?

He's probably off taking one of his

epic shits, or he's passed out,

let's not lose our heads right now guys.

- What if this shit's spreading somehow?

- Okay, relax, let's use our brains.

Kendra, all of New York City's not out to get you.

- Maybe there's something to what Kendra is saying.

- Actually Dwayne, when you were upstairs before,

AJ and Kyle assaulted Vianca, I saw it,

and they were chanting something

strange like voralis, fertalis...

- I apologized for that stupid prank, it was

inappropriate, can we just let it go please?

- Okay, well then show us her so that we know she's okay.

Show us.

- Does anyone notice the person that just

assaulted her roommate and two paramedics

is now trying to turn this around on me somehow?

- AJ, where is Vianca?

- Vianca and Kyle left a while ago, as living

human beings, whereas at Kendra's place she's

got three people tied up hanging on to life.

- Point taken, all right.

Kendra, are you high, are you drunk,

are you taking anything?

- What the fuck does this have to do with anything?

- Dwayne, I don't think you need to

be attacking Kendra right now, okay?

- I'm not trying to attack anyone.

- I don't know, what if something is going on?

- Oh!

Baby what are you doing, stop!

What the fuck are you...

- Oh my god.

- What the fuck is going on?

- Listen to me, you need to check Eva's pupil reaction.

- How do I do that?

- Get a flashlight and shine it in her eye.

You can do this.

- Okay, okay, what do I do?

- Listen to me, you put on the headset

and let me see how her eye responds okay?

- [Dwayne] Okay.

Do you see, are you able to hear?

Sorry, baby.

Ah!

- Dwayne, look out!

- [Dwayne] What are you doing, stop it!

Stop it! - We should call someone, what the fuck?

- [Dwayne] Stop it!

What are you doing?

Stop, stop it.

(sobbing)

I'm so sorry.

Just stay still.

- Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit.

Shit shit shit shit shit.

- Dwayne, wait, what if bringing

more people in this just makes it worse?

- Kendra, will you let the man

get some help for his family?

- [911 Operator] 911, what's your emergency?

- [Dwayne] Hi, hi, hello, hello, hello.

Hi, I need help immediately.

My wife is unconscious and bleeding

from her temple, I've been slashed

several times, and my little girls

are in really bad shape, okay?

We need help.

- [911 Operator] What's the address?

- It's 354 Bruckle Road, 354 Bruckle Road, Dayton.

- [911 Operator] Paramedics and the

police have been dispatched.

Now sir, please give me more details to what happened.

- [Dwayne] It's sorta like a home invasion.

- [911 Operator] A home invasion?

- [Dwayne] Exactly, when will they arrive?

Can you tell me exactly when they will be here?

- [911 Operator] Both the paramedics and

the police are on their way.

- Wait, what if it spreads?

- [Dwayne] They're my family, I call the shots.

Baily, Teisha, daddy's getting you help, okay?

They're on their way.

You gotta keep recording it all right?

- Yeah, yeah yeah yeah. - [Dwayne] You guys are my witnesses.

Police enter a black man's house and his kids are tied up.

(knocking)

Teisha, Baily, help is here all right?

Help is here. - We got your back buddy, we got your back.

- Okay sir, the first thing

we're gonna need is some information.

We're gonna need for you to explain

to us in detail what happened here tonight.

- [Dwayne] Okay, I don't know, they just started

attacking me and I just didn't wanna hurt them, okay?

- Calm down, keep your hands where they are.

- We saw everything, he didn't do anything.

- Yes officer, we totally saw it, we saw the whole thing.

- Sammy, what are you waiting for?

- [Dwayne] I just didn't wanna hurt them, so I tied them up.

I don't know what you're doing right now,

but I've never touched these girls

a day in my life, I swear to god, all right?

- God-fucking-dammit.

- [Dwayne] What the fuck!

Shit!

What the fuck!

Shit.

Fucking cops man, what the fuck is this?

- Dwayne, Dwayne, Dwayne, are you okay?

- [Dwayne] Fuck no, man.

- How's the bleeding, are you okay?

- Dwayne, what if...

- [Dwayne] Shut up, just let think for a minute.

I'm logging on, I'm logging on.

Hurry the fuck up.

(web chat ringing)

Hurry the fuck up, man!

We gotta figure this shit out, what the fuck is happening?

- Please come out.

We need you, mommy's hurt.

- Look, your kids are sick yes, but you

have to get them away from those psycho cops.

- Dwayne, you can't go back up there, you can't do that.

- We need you to help mommy.

- [Dwayne] I can't come up right now girls, all right?

- We promise we won't do anything to hurt you.

- [Dwayne] Listen, daddy's really confused.

- Please please please come up now.

- [Dwayne Daddy can't come up right now, all right girls?

- She's hurt, please.

- I promise everything's gonna

go back to normal, all right sweethearts?

- Man, I'm with you buddy, I'm here, I'm here for you.

- AJ, this is probably all your fault anyway.

- Oh really?

How do we know you're not the cause of this, Fawn?

- Hey hey, Bastion! Bastion!

- Bastion! - Bastion!

- Bastion come to the computer! Dwayne, can he hear us?

- Bastion, Bastion!

- Oh, hey you guys.

What's up? - Bastion listen to me, something really

really terrible has happened.

- People are becoming violent and going crazy.

- A lot of people are really injured.

- So my brother put you guys up to this?

- You have to fucking listen all right,

it's not a fucking joke!

- Bastion, listen to me, I'm being serious,

we're being totally serious, I swear.

- You know Kendra, I kinda always thought

you and I had the whole unspoken art freak bond.

Whatever.

- Bastion listen to me, your brother

opened that trunk that's in the attic, okay?

- Okay, even my brain dead brother knows

there's just some lines you don't cross.

- Bastion listen to me, we're dealing

with some kind of virus, airborne,

in the water, so watch what you ingest.

- Just check for yourself, all right?

- Gotcha, and that's where he makes me look like a fool?

Fine, I'll play along.

You guys record this?

- We're already recording it.

- [Bastion] I wanna document he can't scare me anymore.

- We should tell him about Mar,

you know, 'cause he's probably dead.

- Look, Mar is not dead, I don't believe that.

- I don't want him to be dead, I'm just saying!

- Then stop saying it!

- Bastion, we don't know what happened to Mar and I

really hope that we're wrong, but I just want you to...

- [Bastion] Okay, do you guys realize how

often Mar terrorized me growing up?

I'm completely immune to his shit.

Nothing scares me.

Holy shit, Mar.

He really did open the trunk.

I underestimated your sheer stupidity.

Wake up, Mar.

You messed up your stupid prank.

And if Gamma finds out you opened

the trunk she's gonna have a heart attack.

Wake up you fucking idiot, this isn't funny.

Gamma, Gamma are you okay?

- Bastion, you have to help me!

Where are you going, I need your help.

Be a good boy and help me, please.

- Bastion, grab the stool, grab the stool!

- What are you doing?

- [Bastion] Stop it!

- Stop it!

Are you crazy, Bastion?

- Bastion wait, your brother's

still alive, where are you going?

(phone ringing)

- [Bastion] I need to think about what to say...

- Bastion, you can't call anyone, this is spreading.

- [911 Operator] 911 emergency response.

- [Bastion] Yes, hello, please send an ambulance

right away, I need help, my brother's really hurt.

- Okay finally, someone using their brains.

- Bastion listen to me, everyone is

getting infected, the police got

infected, the paramedics got infected.

- [Bastion] Please just send an ambulance, please hurry!

- [911 Operator] What's the address?

- [Bastion] 343 Portland Street.

- [911 Operator] Please remain calm, sir.

We've dispatched a unit.

- [Bastion] Kendra, you need to tell

me what Mar found in the trunk.

- Okay, let's see, there was a book of spells.

- [Bastion] What else, what else?

- There was this broken round mirror and...

- [Bastion] Wait, shit, was there something on the mirror?

Painted on the mirror?

- Yeah yeah yeah, there was a dark red heptagram on the mirror.

- [Bastion] Holy shit, that sounds

like it could be a demon trap.

How did it break?

- Hold on, what the fuck is a demon trap?

- [Bastion] It's what it sounds like.

- Guys, you gotta be joking, okay?

Look, we're dealing with some kind of virus and...

- Seriously AJ?

Your wife and kids didn't just try to kill you did they?

No!

Bastion, just keep talking.

- [Bastion] When the mirror broke it could've

released a demon that was trapped inside.

I'm gonna call my friend, hopefully he knows what to do.

Call Wallace.

- [Smartphone] Calling Wallace Crenshaw.

(phone rings)

- [Bastion] Hey Wallace?

- [Wallace] It's late, Bastion.

- [Bastion] I know, I'm sorry, this is very important.

Mar opened that old trunk in my attic.

- [Wallace] Oh dear god.

- [Bastion] He broke a demon trap that was inside.

- [Wallace] This is gravely serious.

Has anyone been possessed?

- [Bastion] Yeah, everyone's gone batshit crazy,

like axe-wielding shit I'm talking here.

- [Wallace] What about Gamma?

- [Bastion] No, I think Gamma's dead.

- [Wallace] When did the mirror break?

- [Bastion] Kendra, when did the mirror break?

- Like half an hour ago.

- [Bastion] Half an hour ago, Wallace.

- [Wallace] Get your behind here now!

- [Bastion] Okay yeah, I'm almost at your place now, thank you so much.

- Bastion, was that your comic book friend?

- [Bastion] Yeah, he's my comic book friend,

but his main passion is witchcraft.

- Oh great, we're saved.

- [Bastion] He runs this witchcraft

website, it's called SalemWitchcraft.com

Everyone used to make fun of me and Gamma

for believing that that trunk was cursed.

And now she's dead.

You know, I've seen possessed

people before, a couple of times.

- Really? - [Bastion] Yeah, you know when you catch a

glimpse of somebody, and you wanna look away,

but it's more than just being shy.

- [Kendra] Yeah, I mean I guess

when something seems really off.

- [Bastion] Yeah, and Wallace says that's

because you're not looking into the soul of

a human, you're looking into a demon spirit.

Wallace?

(web chat ringing)

- Can you hear me?

- [Kendra] Yeah. - Okay, we're gonna have to skip the meet and greet, folks.

We know a demon trap broke.

Have you witnessed anyone chanting spells?

- AJ did this bizarre ritual where he

was chanting these things in foreign language.

- I apologized for that a million times.

- AJ, AJ!

Just let the man speak!

- What was AJ chanting on top of Vianca?

- Okay, it was something like verales

malume fertilis, something, I don't know.

- Sounds like Virales Malum which is Latin for viral evil.

Here we go.

Virales Malum is a very clever manipulative demon,

it can spread like a virus, but fortunately

for us its possession process is quite slow.

- [Kendra] This thing, this is spreading quickly.

- Has more than one person been possessed?

- Yeah, there was our roommate Taylor,

the paramedics, Bastion's mom.

- My wife and my kids.

- [Wallace] That is really quick.

Unlike the average demon, Virales Malum

could possess unlimited amounts

of people simultaneously, but each individual

possession is supposed to take a long time.

I'm not sure why it's all happening so quickly.

- Oh my god, we are wasting our time with

this voodoo shit, we are dealing with some

kind of airborne virus and what we need to do...

- AJ, listen to me, you know that I'm

a huge skeptic about this kind of stuff,

but this is the only thing that

makes any sort of fucked up kind of

sense, so just hear him out, okay?

- [Dwayne] Look, I agree, all right?

- Hear him out. - Let's just fucking hear him out, all right?

What does this thing want from us?

- To bring the Devil into our earthly plane.

- When you say the Devil, do you

actually mean the fucking Devil?

- [Wallace] Yes.

- What the fuck, guys?

We need to contact scientists or officials

from the EPA, not some guy who spends all

of his time wacking off onto an Ouija board.

- AJ, chill the fuck out right now okay

before I bitchslap your ass

through this fucking computer screen!

- [Wallace] Kendra, was the rest of

AJ's chant fertilitatis diabolus?

- [Kendra] Yeah, definitely.

- That's the satanic fertility ritual

which opens up a small portal directly

to Hell so the Devil can enter the

earthly dimension as a single cell

in the womb of the Devil-mother.

Has any possessed female seduced any male humans?

- I don't think so man, Kendra, AJ?

- [AJ] Can I speak now? - Yes you can fucking talk now.

- [AJ] No, no possessed females here, thank you.

- Not here either.

- No, no no, not a thing.

- I can't believe our friend is dying and

we're wasting our time with this wackjob.

- [Kendra] AJ, let him finish!

- Once conception is achieved, the female

becomes the demon-mother and she will

give birth to the Devil in the flesh.

When the Devil reaches the age of

six years, six months, and six days,

it will be able to open up the gates

of Hell ushering in the damnation

of the Underworld right here in Earth.

- Is this gonna help us stop this thing right now?

- [Wallace] You need to know this.

- It's kinda hard right now, okay?

- Focus, son. - My wife and kids are upstairs trying

to put a knife between my eyes, okay?

- Dwayne, listen to me, we're gonna

help Eva and the kids, I promise,

but let's just focus right now.

- Just tell us how to stop the thing right now.

Like now!

- Find the demon-mother, kill her

before the Devil manifests in her womb.

- [Kendra] So Vianca is the demon-mother?

- I told you Vianca left half an hour ago!

- Vianca was part of the satanic fertility

ritual, that means she's probably dead.

- These accusations are laughable.

We don't even know this guy.

- I think we should drop AJ from

the chat, he's probably possessed.

- I agree with Bastion.

AJ, I'm sorry, dawg.

- Wait a minute, are you kidding me?

This is insane guys, I mean look,

you're taking these people's words against mine?

- [Dwayne] I'm fucking sorry, okay? - We lost Mar, you're gonna drop me too?

- [Dwayne] No I'm fucking not, Kendra what do you think?

- [AJ] Guys, you're my best friends.

- Drop him.

(disconnection blip)

- What if Bastion's one of them too?

I mean he was in the house, and I mean look at him.

- Me?

How do we know that you're not the demon-mother?

Or Kendra even?

- Okay, these wild speculations don't help us.

- Bastion, we just saved you from

your demented mother, do you remember that?

- Okay, maybe you watched me escape.

- Does it look like I'm getting impregnated by anyone here?

- Bastion, just lay off of Kendra all right?

- Were you watching Kendra the whole time, Dwayne?

- Do you have any facts to back this up?

- I don't know.

I just want everything to go back to normal.

- Bastion, I understand that, and we

all do, but let's not knock out every

human woman in the fucking process.

- [Bastion] Oh my god.

- This is just what I needed after such a stressful day.

- Dad!

Dad, get out of there!

- Get out, get out! - Dad, get out of there, mom went crazy!

(crosstalk yelling)

Why can we hear them if they can't hear us?

- They must've turned down the speakers.

- What am I supposed to do?

- Bastion, call your dad's cell phone.

- Just try and relax, you're home now.

- This is just what I needed.

- Call dad.

- [Smartphone] Calling dad.

- It's good to have you.

(phone buzzing)

- He's not answering.

- Something's wrong.

- What's happening to him?

- She must've drugged his drink or something.

- [Voice Machine] You've reached Dr. Petruso.

Leave a message.

- No no, it can't be my mom,

my mom can't be the demon-mother.

My mother can't be the demon-mother.

Suzie what are you doing?

Suzie! Suzie, stop!

Stop, listen to me Suzie!

What are you doing, I'm begging you, stop, please!

(chanting in foreign language)

- It's done.

They're chanting diabolus incaranatus.

Devil incarnate.

Unless we do something, it's gonna

be born in a couple of days.

- [Bastion] What are you, no, you can't hurt my sister.

- I'm sorry about this, Bastion.

- Wait, is that necessary?

- [Bastion] Stop it please, there has to be some other way!

- Bastion, it's gonna be all right.

It's gonna be all right, I promise, okay?

- Possession is irreversible.

- No, no, no, come on!

- Exorcism is just a fable, a fable

to make folks feel better, huh?

Once the soul is gone, it's gone for good.

- [Bastion] I came to you for help!

- Too bad to had to make it harder on both of us, kid.

Bastion, I'm sorry it worked out like this, Bastion.

Just like the old Salem (mumbles).

I'm just doing what has to be done.

She trapped this demon and saved all of

humanity from the nightmare of Hell on Earth.

We need to do it again.

- [Bastion] Stop!

Stop, Wallace!

Wallace, please don't leave me here, Wallace stop!

Stop! - Wait, if exorcism isn't an option, then what

happens to the possessed once Suzie is killed?

- [Wallace] They all die the very moment she is slain.

- Back then, but with modern technology

couldn't we save some of them?

- [Wallace] There's no bringing your loved ones back, son.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Kendra, if this doesn't turn out, can someone...

If I don't make it, can someone

tell my daughter that I love her?

Rashida Crenshaw.

Can y'all still hear me?

- Yeah.

- [Wallace] It left the webcam on to

bait me and to get me out of the way.

- [Dwayne] Why you taking the bait, man?

- [Wallace] I don't have the luxury of time, son.

I gotta get in there before Virales Malum

possesses even more people to guard Suzie.

It's gonna build a possessed army.

She's the queen bee now.

- But how does this possession spread?

It doesn't say on your website.

- [Wallace] Don't really know completely.

The demon somehow removes the soul and

then essentially steps into the

empty vessel and takes its place.

- I'm hypothesizing guys, this viral demon

is using cameras to remove souls.

- [Wallace] No no no, I don't think so,

demons have been removing souls for

thousands of years, before cameras were invented.

- I hear you, but I saw a paramedic recording

the cop, and then he turned on me suddenly

possessed, so here's what I'm thinking.

Technology speeds up the process.

Voodoo doll or locks of hair are no longer necessary.

- [Wallace] How so?

- Supposedly holding someone's image

gives you power over their soul.

- [Wallace] I gotcha, so instead of using

voodoos dolls and locks of hair

it uses cameras for soul removal.

- Yeah, like some cultures believe that

cameras steal a little bit of the soul.

- Yeah, the cameras, everything that we use.

- [Wallace] Maybe, I don't know, we're just guessing.

- [Taylor] Kendra! Fawn!

(banging)

- [Officer] Sir.

It's okay sir. - What do y'all want from me?

- [Officer] Sir, it's okay.

- [Wallace] What's going on?

Don't trust anything the possessed tell you.

Guys, listen to me.

Virales Malum is trying to trick you, focus on me, people.

The demon is trying to distract

you from hearing what I gotta tell you.

- We gotta get out of here before...

- [Wallace] Guys, listen to me.

Guys, listen to me.

Focus on me, people.

It's conniving, it's manipulative,

don't buy into any of its garbage.

They all seem like regular people, but they're

all the same demon in different forms.

- [Officer] Fine.

However, if you wanted to see your wife and children...

- [Dwayne] Wait wait wait wait wait, stop, stop!

- [Wallace] Don't buy into any of its garbage.

- [Taylor] You're just gonna leave me here to die?

- [Officer] Can I help you sir?

- [Dwayne] Where the fuck is my family?

- [Officer] Nowhere. Now it's time for you watch.

- Watch what?

- [Officer] Watch the screen, Dwayne.

- [Kendra] Shit, Wallace.

- [Wallace] Q&A time is up, folks.

- Wait Wallace, once more question, is it possible that people's souls are trapped in the camera?

- [Wallace] I'm in now, so y'all need to zip it.

- Just be careful man.

- Oh my god, be careful.

(ominous wind howling)

(distant banging)

- Keep your eyes on me.

- What the fuck?

- [Wallace] Oh god!

- What the hell is this?

- [Wallace] Police!

- Who the fuck are they?

- Oh shit, Bastion called for help earlier.

(Wallace groaning)

- I can't believe that just happened.

- This has gotta fucking stop.

- People are getting possessed too fast.

There's nothing we can do, it's over.

We're just doomed.

- No no no, we're gonna figure it out,

we're gonna figure it out right now.

- No!

This is just, it's too overwhelming,

there's nothing we can do.

- I'm going to Salem and I'm gonna kill Suzie myself.

- No Kendra, Kendra, you can't do that.

Kendra you can't, you can't.

There's just too many of them.

Like that guy said, they're there to protect

Suzie and that thing that's growing inside of her.

- Fawn, I need you to give me your car,

or I need you to drive me to Salem yourself,

and I need you to decide right this minute, okay?

- No, I can't.

No I can't, I mean how do we know

that Suzie will even still be there,

and how will we know where she is,

and there's just too many crazy people.

We just saw them kill someone, I mean we just saw that.

- Okay, we can...

- We'll find somebody who's already

in Massachusetts to do it, okay?

- [Kendra] No, listen to me,

this situation is much bigger than us.

I am going to do this Fawn, one way or the other.

Okay?

- Can I drop you off a couple blocks from the house?

- [Kendra] Yeah, yes.

Here, here.

(phone vibrates)

Hey, what's up?

Mr. Renere, what can I do for you?

Okay yeah, I can do that by Monday.

Okay, I'll see you on Monday, bye.

Fawn, listen to me, I need you to go

down and get the car and I need you to pull

it around to the front of the building.

I'm gonna be down in a few minutes,

I'm just getting some things together

and I'll meet you downstairs, okay?

- Okay. - Go.

Fuck.

- I don't know how to say it so I'm just gonna say it, okay?

I think Fawn's one of them, I think she's a demon being.

- [Kendra] What makes her so suspicious to you?

- Subtle observations, okay?

She's trying to stop you from leaving for one,

and she had Taylor's cell phone.

- What difference does that make?

- Remember my theory.

The viral demon can possess much

more quickly with a camera, right?

More cameras means even quicker possession.

- And there are cameras literally everywhere you look now.

- Exactly.

- Okay, whatever, someone would still need

to possess Fawn in the first place, right?

- It could've been Taylor before he attacked you.

- But Fawn was knocked out by the paramedics.

- We didn't actually see that happen.

Right? - So Fawn was lying.

- I mean if it's true, then the

demon was lying to us through Fawn.

- So what am I supposed to do Dwayne, just ditch her?

- What if she's possessing others right now as we speak?

- I cannot just abandoned her.

- If she's possessed then she's already gone right?

- Well how do I know that you're not manipulating me?

Maybe you're one of them.

- You're right, you actually have no

fucking way of knowing, truthfully, you don't.

But I'm not, I'm not, it's me Dwayne, right?

I don't know what to tell you, just trust your gut, okay?

Please just keep your eyes peeled, all right?

I just wanna ensure that you'll be okay.

- [Kendra] Don't ensure, do you want me

to mute you Dwayne, 'cause I'll fucking do it, don't think that I won't.

- Jesus, all right, all right, all right, fine.

Fine, so tell me, what's the plan?

What's the plan for Salem?

- [Kendra] I don't know, I have a four hour

drive in front of me to figure that out.

- Jesus, you need to figure it out, all right?

- [Kendra] Road trip, right?

- You need to figure it out, all right?

- [Kendra] Yeah, I'll just burn down the house.

- Get a bunch of those five gallon gas cans, all right?

- [Kendra] Yes, yes, and it'll burn Suzie

and that thing inside her to a fucking crisp.

Slow down.

Slow down, Fawn.

Fawn! Jesus Christ, what the fuck?

Jesus Christ!

- Jump out the car, open the door

and jump out the car, don't fucking

think about it, just do it!

- [Kendra] How do I jump out of a moving car?

- You're going to fucking die if you don't jump out.

Get out of the car!

(loud crash)

Kendra!

Kendra, Kendra, are you okay?

Can you hear me?

Are you hurt?

Kendra, just answer me, Kendra can you hear me?

Kendra, open your goddamn mouth and

say something to me right now, all right?

I know you're there, just fucking speak to me.

- [Kendra] Fuck.

- Kendra! Kendra!

- [Kendra] I jumped out of the car.

- Okay, all right, thank god.

Hey hey hey, listen to me, where's the car?

- [Kendra] Dwayne, I'm not getting up.

- Show me the car.

Turn your camera around and show me the car.

Just fucking look back at the fucking car crash!

You see, she's fucking recording people.

- [Kendra] I can't do it anymore.

- She's possessing them right now, she's recording them,

she's fucking possessing them, you need to go.

- [Kendra] I can't do it anymore.

- Just get the fuck out, you gotta fucking go!

- [Kendra] Dwayne, I can't do it.

- Kendra! Kendra!

Kendra! - [Kendra] I can't get up, Dwayne.

- You gotta get up, you gotta go now, all right?

Kendra, Kendra, Kendra!

They are coming, they are coming, they are coming, run!

- [Kendra] I think I'm bleeding.

- How bad are you hurt?

- [Kendra] I don't know.

I think I need to go to a hospital.

- (mumbles).

- [Kendra] I am not getting in another car.

- Just fucking go.

Shit, just gotta get the fuck

out of there right now all right,

they're after you, just fucking go.

- I have just the headset so the demon

can't track me, and if you don't hear

from me in a couple of hours that means

it got me and then it's all up to you, Dwayne.

- I understand.

(loud crash)

Fuck.

(electricity humming)

- [Eva] Dwayne.

Look me in the eyes right now.

- Baby, baby, whoa whoa whoa, stop,

just stop, okay, what are you doing?

Don't do anything crazy right now, okay?

- Come up from the basement.

- Stop, Eva just fucking stop!

Just stop, I know that there's

something in you right now, I know

that my baby's in there okay, you just

gotta fight this thing right now, okay?

Just fucking fight this thing.

That's our daughter!

That's our daughter that you have in

our fucking hands all right, just stop!

Just fucking think.

No no no no, no!

No!

No!

No no no!

No!

No no no!

No!

No!

No!

(sobbing)

Wait wait wait, stop, stop stop stop.

Just please, just stop, I give up.

I give up.

Just don't do it.

Please don't do it.

Please.

Please.

(phone buzzing)

Kendra, hey hey hey.

What's going on baby, are you okay?

- [Kendra] I managed to find some help.

- Oh good good, thank god, thank god.

Where are you, what are you gonna do now?

- [Kendra] I'm crossing the Brooklyn Bridge.

I'm going to this car rental place in Manhattan.

- Oh good good, that's good, that's a good idea,

at least that way you'll be in control.

- [Kendra] Yeah, I'm not getting into

another car unless I am the one driving it.

Listen, I'll call you when I get to Salem, okay?

- Yeah. Good luck, okay?

- [Kendra] Okay, bye.

(web chat ringing)

- Bye.

(ominous atmospheric hum)

(chanting in foreign language)

- [Possessed Man] Excuse me.

Can you help me with some directions?

- Can you stop recording us please?

- [Possessed Man] You have such beautiful eyes.

- Thanks.

(chanting in foreign language)

- They found me.

You gotta do this.

Promise me.

Just leave me alone!

You gotta do this, okay, did you download the entire night?

Promise me you'll do this.

You gotta show it to someone, show it to everyone, okay?

Warn them.

I won't let it take me.

(sobbing)

(screaming)

(cars honking)
