a monumental battle 25 years
in the making nears its epic conclusion
There's something about this season of Survivor that tops any other season of
Survivor I've ever played or ever seen.
These Aussies have been tough.
They are gritty.
They are players.
This game had a lot of kings, a lot of champions, a lot of gods.
But there can only be one.
the king of the jungle baby everything comes down to this
a historic final
showdown two australians
two americans but
only one can be crowned the greatest
survivor player of all time.
To be here feels like a complete full circle moment for me.
15 years ago, I lost heroes versus villains in samoa i
made it to the end and then was robbed of my win by a bitter jury
and i was devastated by that loss i came back here to win this game
to reclaim the crown that was meant to be mine and i think i've played the most
flawless game of survivor that i've ever played and i have not received one
single vote this entire game.
And it just seems like divine cosmic intervention that I still have my
survivor soulmate in the game with me.
Don't you believe it?
Oh, Barb.
Are you serious? You don't get second chances like this.
So we're going to be sitting there holding hands at the final two on our
stumps. I know, I know.
Hello, world. Have you been practicing your speech?
You're going to charm the whole jury.
You're going to make me work so hard.
I'm well known in the world of Survivor as the best player to never have won.
So I would just love for this time, everything to come to fruition, Parvati
and myself sit in the final three as planned.
And I have just as much opportunity to win this as Harvey.
But if we let Luke get to the final three, Luke, I think,
would be impressive in front of the jury.
I mean, we're taking Janine to three.
Of course.
Yeah. Right? Yeah.
With Luke, I would never do the real thing by him.
unless it was either him or me.
So I'm hoping that Janine sees it the way we see it and Luke doesn't win
that final immunity challenge.
Luke and I have come a long way in this game.
And where we are now, we had a plan to get here.
Can I have a quick chat, Jay? Sure.
Promise me you'll let me get a fire if we lose.
I'm actually sorry to promise you. Okay.
Okay.
Luke is depending on me to vote Seri to give him a chance at fire.
But I'm weighing up my game because if I vote with Seri and Parvati,
I'm sitting in the end.
And if I get to the final three and I'm putting a speech forward, I'm going to
kill it.
I've got a special bond with Samoa now.
Good luck, Samoa.
Got to live the island life.
It's crazy.
You know, I was in this exact same position five years ago, and Final Four,
and I lost.
It's a full-circle moment for myself, but...
I'm overwhelmed with a different type of emotion this time.
It's been a journey. Either way, I win, I lose, doesn't matter.
I'm happy that I've gone as far as I can.
Because my game has had a harder path.
I've had to fight from the bottom.
I've been blindsided a few times and voted wrong.
Sarah. Oh, my God.
At times, I didn't know what the hell was going on.
I thought it was just going to be all one.
All I did was screw myself over.
But I'm playing a different game this time.
My whole game is based on relationships, not about creating crazy moves.
And I've really, really got to rely on this last 15 days that my connection
with Janine I have built so strong that she feels indebted to me.
To at least let me have my say.
I'll be home soon with my kids.
On the wall. Things will be good.
But until now, I'm just going to have to enjoy the game.
The only way for me to secure final three 100% is to win
today's challenge.
So if it's a torture chamber, I'm
going to have to just dig deep and fight tooth and nail to the end.
Today, for me, this challenge is do or die.
I know that if I don't have the necklace around my neck, it's probably going to
be me sent packing.
So I need it for myself.
But I also need to be able to keep Sri here, too.
Oh, my Lord.
Come on in.
What is this?
It looks like some sort of sacrificial... Medieval torture chamber.
Y'all are dark in Australia.
Yeah, you better believe it.
Far out.
In the sun too.
All right. Well, congratulations. You have survived some of the most intense
and hard-boiled gameplay we've ever seen. And tomorrow night, one of you
will be crowned sole survivor and the greatest of all time.
But the only thing standing between you and that final tribal is this little
torture rack.
Are you going to light that on fire while we're standing under it? Yeah, you
know it.
Are you ready to get to your final immunity challenge?
All right, Janine, hand it over.
For the last time, immunity is back up for grabs.
For today's challenge, you're going to stand on narrow
pegs while holding on to heavy weights.
At various intervals, you'll move to narrower pegs, making it more difficult.
At any point, you step off, drop a weight.
You're out of the challenge.
Last person left standing wins immunity and a guaranteed spot at that final
tribal where you will have a chance to pitch to the jury why you deserve the
title of sole survivor and the quarter million it goes with.
Let's draw for spots. Let's get to it.
No, you can't wait.
This is real torture.
Yeah, this is real torture.
All right, here we
go. Everyone, assume the position.
Grab your weights.
Step on the first set of pegs.
Oh, my God.
All right, here we go. For final immunity, this challenge is now on.
Wow, this is going to be a nightmare.
It's all come down to this.
Whoever can stand on a peg the longest.
Now we're left two Aussies, two Americans.
Who's going to take that crown?
Luke testing those ropes.
Trying to figure out how much weight is there.
Everyone has 20% of your body weight.
Oh, my God.
There is no comfortable position in this challenge.
You're going to start to feel the weight of those sandbags.
Those pegs are going to start grinding into the soles of your feet.
Those pegs have got to feel like daggers in your feet now.
Seri, clearly not comfortable.
A little slip, and Seri, she tries to readjust.
Nice save.
oh my god
siree
loses balance she falls backwards i can't even feel my foot and after 30
minutes she steps off the pegs no shot at immunity
sorry paul you did your best i like two hours
We're an hour into this challenge.
Let's turn up the heat.
We're gonna move on to the next set of pegs.
Great. These are a lot smaller.
Oh, my God.
Here we go.
Five, four, three, two, one.
Everyone's made the transition.
Peg's a lot smaller now.
Janine dancing around on her pegs now.
Oh!
And after an hour and 15...
Janine drops off the pegs. What happened, Janine?
I leant forward on one arm and then counterbalance.
Oh. She's out of the challenge.
No shot at immunity.
Now we have a showdown between Luke and Parvati.
They played idols for each other last night.
Oh, my God.
Are they going to show each other?
Such mercy today.
Poverty ramrod straight.
Luke,
doing
everything he can to push through.
Every part of his foot on fire.
So here we are and it's come down to this One American
versus one Australian
Most important challenge of the season.
Ah!
Step off that peg. You're out.
Ah!
Luke, doing everything he can to push through.
Oh, my God.
Meanwhile, poverty, like a statue... Pack this car.
Come on, Pav.
Sleep. Luke!
It'd be so easy just to step off and end the pain now. What's keeping you going?
Walking in with that necklace.
What's keeping you up there, Pav?
This is my challenge.
That's my necklace.
Been at it for an hour, 30 minutes.
Luke has been a hot mess for quite a while, but he's still in it.
I'm always a hot mess.
But how many times have I dug deep?
Yeah, 100%. All right, in a moment, we're going to transition to the final
peg.
The fun one.
Remember, this is a live transition. Here we go.
Five, four, three, two,
one. There it is.
Both successfully make the transition.
Oh, my Lord.
Ah, that peg is so sharp now.
I don't know how much longer.
Really struggling to keep his balance.
So much pain.
Trying to fight through it.
That peg is like a hot poker into the sole of your foot.
I'm shaking now.
Luke, all the way forward.
Shaking. Grimacing. Grunting.
After an hour and 48, Luke is out.
And poverty wins.
Final immunity.
Thank you.
My legs are shaking.
Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm so afraid.
I know. I know. Oh, my God.
Are you okay? Are you okay?
Oh, sweetie.
You did so well. You're a machine.
Oh, my God.
That last one. Oh, my God.
They have emotion themselves.
Are you in trouble?
Were you bad or good there?
I was going to survive as long as it needed.
That last peg?
That was very sharp.
Parvati, come on over. Oh, my God.
Here it is.
Most important immunity is yours. How does that feel? It feels so good.
Yeah? Yeah.
I want to be in that final. I want to like win this game. And it means so much
to me. And I've never won the final immunity.
Well, there it is. This is a first for me.
Fantastic. Well, you've guaranteed yourself a spot at that final tribal.
You're going to have a chance to plead your case.
As for the rest of your tribal council tonight, where one of you will become
the seventh and final member of our jury. Well done, everyone.
Head back to camp. I'll see you tonight.
Well, we're back.
Yeah, we are back.
It's been a smoke in the fire.
Yeah.
Such a weird scramble at four.
Yeah. It's like the most disgusting scramble that it is that you can get.
I won the final immunity challenge, and I'm sitting in the final three,
guaranteed.
Now, I'm going to do everything I can to get Seri to final three.
I want her there at the end with me.
Seri? Yes?
Kelly? Sure, sure.
This was the only challenge I needed to win.
The only one. All set.
I think we're going to have breakfast.
We're going to have breakfast tomorrow.
Oh, my God.
But if Luke gets there, then he's going to be really hard to beat. I agree.
I know Luke is going to take it from any of us if we go there.
Luke is a big threat in front of the jury.
It's in Janine's best interest to work with us. She wants to sit in the final
three, guaranteed.
We split the bow, and Janine throws a bow for him, and he goes to fire, you're
done. So I was like, I don't want that to happen. So I want to make sure that
Janine is 100%. I know going into this tribal council, if Seri
has to do fire against Luke, Seri's going to lose.
So we need to get it locked in.
And you, Jay.
Come here.
It's been a pleasure knowing and playing with you.
Could I cash in that favour?
Any time I can cash in that favour there, Jay.
I said to you 14 days ago. Yeah.
It stays.
Yeah.
I have a good feeling that Parvati and Suri will want me out of this game.
So tonight I feel like I've only got one option.
Myself and Janine voting Seri and we go to a tie.
That means me and Seri go to fire.
Well, yeah, I'm writing down Seri. So if you write down Seri and I see that
second Seri, I know I got that little chance of fire, you know? Yeah.
You know, I didn't tell her about my idol.
There's been mistakes made.
But last night, I gave Janine my necklace, protecting her.
And Janine did promise me she would take me to final three.
So I'm praying to God.
I'm praying that she feels this way still.
So I'm going to vote that tonight.
Obviously, it's up to you to do your magic if you want to do it, you know.
But I'm putting all my eggs in your basket.
Janine, let's go chat.
All right, let's go chat.
It's so close to the end.
Oh.
Oh, it's so... I know, it's so... It's too bad. It's too bad. It's too bad. I
know. I do trust Janine. And Janine, Mrs. Shark Tank, knows
deals. And she knows that... This is a smart deal for her to go to a final
three.
I know Luke is going to push you hard because he knows if he makes fire
between any of us, he'll win.
But listen, Luke is the only man still left in this game. If Luke sits next to
Christ himself, he's going to win.
If Luke sits there, we're just handing him a check.
Right? We handed him the game. Forget about the check. We handed him the
title. We handed him the days that we've been out here pushing and struggling and
staying in. And that's what it's about.
There is so many mixed emotions.
The pros of letting Luke go to fire is that I stuck to my word.
I said I was going to do it and I did it.
The cons is my chances of winning Soul Survivor are seriously
diminished.
I'd be thrilled for us three ladies to sit in the final three.
So that's it for me.
I don't want to let Luke down.
But ultimately I have to think about what's good for me too.
I'd be thrilled.
for us three ladies to sit in the final three.
So that's it for me.
So I have a choice. Right. My choice is to go with you guys, which I want to
anyway. Me too. I want to anyway, right? I know, that's amazing.
Or do I, well, I don't really have a plan B. Right. I don't have a plan B.
Right.
I would love to be with the two of you at the end.
Absolutely.
She says she's down to her life.
I want to make sure that Janine is 100%. So far, it looks good. As long as Janine
doesn't crack.
I didn't know if Janine would be willing to turn on Luke, but it looks like she
really is, and this is music to my ears.
I think she's good.
I think she's good. She wants to win.
It's full circle moments.
for multiple people out here.
I was in this exact same position five years ago, and final four, and I lost.
So tonight, I'm asking a favour from the godmother, the fairy godmother.
And I'm hoping she sprinkles that little bit of pinky dust on me in embers.
And she lets me go to far.
We're now bringing our jury.
Sarah, Kirby, Cass, Tommy, Lisa, and
Shawnee voted out the last tribal council.
So poverty.
After 15 manic days of Survivor, here we are so close to the end and we're left
with two Aussies and two world players.
What do you think that says about this game?
Like this is the most special experience of survivor I've ever had. I think
because of this group of people and the international people, it's a real
privilege and it just feels like such an honor to be in this position.
So I know that winning would be important for you personally.
But is there any level of patriotism attached to this for you? Is it
important that a world player should win?
I think, yeah, we all want to represent where we come from and we have a level
of pride in our country. It does sort of feel like the Olympics in that way.
But I'd like to think that it stopped being Aussie strong, world strong after
the merge. It was like, OK, we're doing this game because this is...
the greatest game of Survivor ever of all time.
But, Luke, you fought hard to keep Aussies in the game.
What would it mean to you to be at the final Tribal representing your country?
Oh, look, you know, it would be, like, a pleasure.
I know right now I'm in a little bit of trouble.
So right now I'd love to try to go in Aussie strong, at least two Aussies, one
American, because that gives us way better chance of an Aussie taking a home
rather than American.
Janine, what would you say to that?
Look, I think when you get down to four, there is that Australian world divide.
But when you get down to four, you really have to play an individual game.
Because at the end of the day, you have to get to the right three at the end to
have a chance to be able to convince these people over here to give you that
title.
Sari, I'm assuming that you would consider yourself to be part of that
right three at the end.
I would love to be part of that right three at the end.
But as Janine says, when it gets to four, the lines get a little blurred.
Avani, what would it mean to you to have Seri with you at the end of this game?
It would mean a lot. It feels like this game is sort of like rewriting history
for me, and I want her there.
And, Serene, remind me, how many times have you played?
Counting this time, would be five. Five. Right. And you've never gotten to the
end, but you've gotten super close a couple times.
So how would you feel about getting to the end on this one?
I think it would be like a culmination of my Survivor journey that started
almost 20 years ago, and I could maybe lay down my Survivor hat.
So, Parvati, is it fair to assume that you two are going to be voting together
tonight?
I think that's pretty fair to assume.
So, Janine, obviously, Parvati and Suri are going to vote together. What are the
chances that we're going to go to fire tonight?
It's not a fun night tonight, right? We're not sitting here going, oh, but
here we are, you know, because there is someone I care about very deeply that is
going to be disappointed.
But there's conversations that have been had and there's decisions that have been
made and, you know, sometimes you've just got to stick with what you've said.
All right, well...
I think it is time to vote. Siri, you're up.
This is only because I don't have another choice.
Sweet.
One of the greatest.
If, for whatever reason, you go home tonight and I don't, I just know it has
been a pleasure.
i'm gonna count the votes
all
right
i'll read the votes
First vote, Luke.
Suri. One vote, Luke. One vote, Suri.
Luke.
Two votes, Luke.
One vote, Suri. One vote left.
Suri, we're tied.
All right.
We're going to go to a fire-making challenge to determine who's going to
survive to see another day.
All right, Seri and Luke, you both have the same fire-making materials.
The goal is to make a fire high enough to burn through that rope. First person
to do so earns their spot at tomorrow night's final tribal.
Loser is going to be the final member of our jury.
Stakes don't get any higher. Are you ready?
Yes.
All right, you may begin.
Good luck.
Seri.
You have a flint, knife, coconut husk, and kindling.
Keep it cool, Luke.
Luke, scraping the magnesium.
Ceri, doing the same.
Come on, Ceri.
Luke, go for a spot.
Wasting no time.
Can he get it to catch?
Suri going for a spark now.
Lots of spark from Luke.
There it is, he gets a flame.
Now he needs to keep it going.
Loot's swinging it back and forth.
Rock the baby like Sarah did.
Saree, can she get that husk to catch?
She's been here before.
Meanwhile, Luke has a flame going now.
Going to build it up with some kindling.
Now he's trying to get that kindling to catch, trying to build it up.
Flame dropping away again.
Oh, my God.
It's stressing me out.
Sari, going for a spark again.
There it is, Sari.
There you go. Sari has a little flame going now.
Keep it alive. Can she keep it going?
Put the kindling.
Luke still has a lot of smoke.
Relax Luke, take off.
Tiny flame inside there.
What's happening?
And it catches for Luke.
Puts on some more kindling.
Cerise, flame disappears.
Seri's trying to nurse her fire back.
Oh, my God.
Holy moly. And all of Luke's kindling collapses, smothering his fire.
Oh, my God.
Just relax, Luke.
Keep it cool.
That opens the door for Seri.
Seri, call Karma Collected.
More husk.
Poverty trying to help her out.
Would love to keep her friend in this game.
Seri slowly building up that fire.
Good job, Seri.
Luke's fire a bit of a mess at this point.
Quickly rebuilding his structure.
Seri, trying to give her fire some more oxygen.
Puts on some more husk.
Oh, Seri.
Put it higher.
Luke, trying to build his fire up high enough to reach that row.
More kindling, Seri.
Luke has a nice little teepee reconstructed there.
Carefully putting it together this time. He doesn't want it to collapse again.
Oh, my God.
Meanwhile, Seri, get to the kindling now.
Yeah, make it higher, Seri.
Trying to catch up to Luke. There you go.
Teepee it up.
You better make it taller.
Luke's fire is starting to lick that rope.
But his structure collapses again.
Keep you cool.
The wind is pushing that flame around.
Holy cow.
Seri trying to build hers up.
She blows it out.
Brings it back again.
Luke has a legit fire going on there.
It's high enough.
Just keeps avoiding that rope.
Serene is building her fire up. Now hers is starting to touch the rope.
This is so close.
Luke's fire all over the side of that rope there.
Ceri keeps on chipping away, keeps building hers up.
Good job, Ceri. The wind keeps pushing Luke's flame around.
Oh, my God. Luke just keeps adding more wood.
Oh.
More oxygen.
His rope is on fire.
There you go, the rope's on fire.
There it is!
Oh, my God!
Luke wins his spot back in the game.
Amazingly close for that.
Oh, my God, I lost it. Wow.
Congratulations, Luke.
Ah, Luke, how does that feel?
Look, I've got to say a big thanks to Jay.
Thank you, Jay, for letting me go through the top three.
It means the world.
And Seri, again, so close.
Yeah.
Obviously, I'm devastated that I got this close.
But at the same time, I'm proud that I was at least in it this time. Last time
I tried to make fire, there was nothing.
Look at this. This is a beautiful fire.
And I had it.
absolute last. There it is.
Yay!
So I leave with my head held high.
I'm so proud of this little party. You don't know how much this means to me.
Because I know I have it in me to do it. It's like everything in my life. I have
to challenge myself because I know that it's in there.
It just struggles to come out sometimes.
And this one just came out a little later than Luke, so.
That's the way it goes.
Oh, Jonathan, I don't want to hear you say it. Oh, Serene. I know you have to.
Hard. I'm sorry I tried. I know. I know.
I love you.
I know.
Bring it home. How about that? Mm-hmm. Do that.
All right, Lukey.
See ya.
So am I fired up?
Congrats. Thanks. Good job. Thanks, Bob.
Don't do it, Jonathan. Don't do it.
Well, Suri, you've played a great game. It's been such a privilege to have you
out here. Thank you for coming to join us. Thank you for having me. I know.
Drive us.
Ah!
Damn. I know. I know.
All right. Bye, guys.
Kick-ass poverty.
I'm counting on you. Thank you.
I hate the title, the best survivor player to never win.
But I guess I'm going to have to wear it. I think it's only fair that Luke has
a chance of actually getting back in the game.
Who I want to win is Parv. Who I think may win is Luke.
And I try to tell Janine, if Luke gets to this final three, Luke has a great
chance.
We'll have to see.
I am so devastated.
It feels like a tragedy that Seri was put in the position of going up
against Luke for fire.
Having Seri here as my number one and to get so close to the end and watch her go
out in flames, it felt like such a heartbreak.
To have made it all the way to the final three and...
Like, knowing that I had to win that final immunity challenge or I would have
been out.
It's like this bittersweet farewell.
But I still have final tribal, so I have to regroup, I have to refocus, and I
have to keep going in this game and stay in it.
Final three.
Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Hopefully we get a big breakfast this morning.
We're going to need it for our final chai bowl.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm going to bring the heat with my speech.
I know you're a keynote speaker and you're really good at speaking, but I'm
coming for you guys. This is not, this is very different.
I've done everything I could to prove that I'm the greatest of all time,
but... What makes Survivor one of the hardest games to play, you don't have
the power at the end.
You're giving the power away to these people who you've burned.
The last time I was here in Samoa, I got so close to the end and was burned by a
bitter jury.
So I'm hoping that tonight, things go a little differently.
I gotta see if your big body's blocking it.
how good is that oh my god oh my god oh my
god should we have champagne a champagne toast champagne toast let's start with
champagne okay hey final three oh my god cheers
cheers guys hey also you know here's a friendship Yeah, yeah, yeah.
100%. Unlikely friendships.
Unlikely. And also loyalty in a game that is full of lies and deception.
And also when someone gets a word, they keep it. No, true that, Jay. Yeah. Much
love.
I went through a wave of emotions yesterday.
Tribal council.
I thought it was a good chance I was getting sent home.
But you know what? There's a little bit of heart left in this game, and Janine
showed that last night by giving me a chance.
So this is what it feels like. The final three breakfasts.
Something has invaded me for such a long time. I know, me too.
You made it. Here you are.
I'm finally at the last hurdle. I need to get my words correct. I need to speak
from the heart.
You know, how much this means to me.
You just did that so fast.
Yeah. Like a good scrabble egg.
You know, I truly love this game. And to be crowned sole survivor of the
world.
It's actually seasoned perfectly.
Thank you.
I'm there for you. Oh, my God.
All the way to the end. All the way.
Everyone needs a Janine in their life.
What I am really proud of.
is that I played this game really like a godmother.
I took people out and blindsided when I had to, but ultimately I was loyal to
the family.
Okay, we won't be needing this anymore.
The last time you ever do that.
How I'm going to win this game is like I do in business.
You just need to have the emotional intelligence to read the room Luke
and poverty they are incredible
players But I am backing myself in my ability to talk to the
jury and Public speaking and I can do that really well
Jonathan? Luke?
Feeling good?
Feeling great.
All right, we're now bringing our jury.
Sarah, Kirby, Cass, Tommy, Lisa,
Shawnee, and Saree voted out last tribal council.
So here we are, the final tribal council with one American and two Aussies.
Poverty, Janine and Luke, you have gone as far as you can go in this game.
And tonight, the power shifts to them.
The jury.
Seven people that you've had a hand in voting out, either directly or
indirectly, will now decide which of you three deserves to win this game.
This is how it's going to work.
Each going to make an opening statement.
This is your chance to convince the jury that you deserve the title of sole
survivor and the quarter million dollars that goes with it.
Then it's going to be the jury's turn. They're going to ask you questions, lots
of questions, and you'll try to answer them.
Once everyone's had their say, jury are going to vote to decide who's the
greatest player of all time.
All right, Janine, you want to kick us off?
I want the title of Sole Survivor. I want it, right?
The money is second.
So let's talk about what I think about the game of Survivor.
I see Survivor as a game of loyalty and trust.
You just have to pick the right people.
And my person came in the form of Luke.
So we go into merge.
It didn't go well for us.
I believed that we were staying straight strong.
But after that time that you got sent out, Sarah, I went, lie to me once,
full on them. Lie to me twice, full on me.
And so I actually knew.
We have to take Kirby out.
And you do not miss when you swing at someone like Kirby.
We executed the plan really effectively.
And I could see the path to top four.
It wasn't by accident. It was planned and calculated.
And I had a majority with Seri, Parvati and Luke.
So we were at the final four.
I actually felt really conflicted.
You know, Luke is all hard, right?
And so he's a tough man to beat.
But, you know, sometimes you've just got to stick with what you've said.
And that fired challenge.
That was probably my biggest yet hardest move that I made in this game.
But I think the way you win this game and the way you can get to the end is
honestly, trust and loyalty.
And I actually say loyal.
So I think to summarise, my survivor game is actually flawless.
And to actually have a strategy, a plan, and then an execution of that plan was
actually gold.
All right, Luke.
First, I want to just start with a little story, OK?
In 2017, when I applied for Survivor, I got put in a room of about 40 people,
and we got asked a question, what will make you a great Survivor player? And I
said, I'm going to be one of the most dominant Survivor players the world has
ever seen.
And do you know what?
Everyone laughed.
Now I'm here, and I'm so happy because I love this game.
And I can outwit, I can outplay, but I've never been able to outlast.
So to finally get that bit right means I've finally got the last piece to the
puzzle.
Now you probably want to hear about the game.
Day three, I found my idol.
And I feel like I was the one looking the most.
So I was stoked with that.
Now the George vote. We get George out.
One thing happened in that vote that was really important.
It was me and Jay.
Jay whistled in my ear and she asked me to change the vote in Tribal Council.
And I said, done.
And we promised ourselves that we would get to final three together.
I made a deal with one of the greatest...
CEOs, businesswomen that Australia has ever seen.
It was a contract, would you say?
And it has served me well, as you can see.
After all that, the first vote in Merge, I wanted to stay Australia Strong.
I preached it very well, and I didn't want you to go, Sarah.
But Sarah went home, and I sat on the beach that night, and I was like...
Oh, my God, I need to do something. We are now in the minority.
So I ran to the wolf pack, Tommy, Lisa and Cass, and I said, screw
Australia, I'm ready to go around a world trip and play with you guys, you
three.
But unfortunately, the next day, you didn't take anyone to the spa and then
we didn't get spoken to all day.
Me and Shani felt like stray dogs.
And that's when I started realising that...
The move to go with you guys isn't there anymore.
It needs to be with Parvati and it needs to be with Sarai and Janine.
But on that crazy tribal, I learnt something.
Parvati had a parchment that could take someone's idol.
And after lots of back and forth, I managed to get her to rip up the
parchment.
Now, the last immunity challenge.
I fought tooth and nail against Parv.
But I lost.
Now I've only got one option.
Janine. That debt.
And Jay repaid that favour and let me go to fire.
We said we could work it to the end, and we did.
I am Survivor.
I feel like I'm the heart of this game.
I believe that I am a great representation of Australia, Survivor,
but I think I would be an even better representation for the world, Survivor.
All right, Pav.
You ready to go?
Survivor... For me has been a 20-year love affair
and I never ever would have anticipated
sitting here in the final three playing nearly 20 years later
But to have this be a world season of survivor
like what I can't say no to that
And I think this is the best game of Survivor I've ever played in my life.
So I'll share a little bit about my game.
I hit the ground running at the beach as one of the biggest targets.
I know that, especially coming here with Seri.
So it was really important for me to reconnect with Seri right away to see if
this relationship was going to stick.
As soon as we had our first conversation, I was like, that's my
girl.
800%. And we were just locked back in just like we were in Micronesia, like no
time had passed.
So once we get to the merge, it's auction time.
So I'm really excited about this auction. Then we get there, and this
bonehead evicts me from the auction.
And I'm like...
come on luke you should know better you've played australian survivor
multiple times you know nothing so straightforward as just sending someone
home and there was an advantage for me on the
beach which gave me the opportunity to steal someone's idol
so then we're we're at merge
And then from that point, I got this sense that the game was shifting.
I felt like people were starting to think about the end game.
And I was worried that I would not be the person that maybe Lisa, Cass, and
Tommy wanted to sit next to at the end.
So then when I sensed that there could be a move being made on me, I felt like,
okay, here's my time. I've got to make some pandemonium at this tribal council.
Pull out my idol, put it around my neck.
But I'm like, I still don't feel safe.
Gathered the troops, Luke and Janine.
And I was like, all right, I'm going to vote with you guys tonight because I
just feel like something is amiss.
And then Cass whips out her idol and I was like.
I wasn't expecting that.
But then I remembered I had the advantage, so you've got to be on your
toes out here. I pull out my advantage, read the first two lines, which say, oh,
because knowledge is power, you can steal someone's immunity.
But I don't read the third line that says, you have to present this to
Jonathan before he says it's time to vote.
I keep that information to myself.
And then, once I shared that,
advantage, and I said that in tribal, Luke got so scared that he came up to me
and was like, please rip up your advantage.
I have an idol. I haven't told anyone about it.
But he told me, giving me complete power over his game.
With that said, I know that I am sitting here next to Australia's national
treasure and an OG, like amazing businesswoman, keynote speaker,
powerhouse.
But I'm hoping that tonight your vote is based on who's played the best
game.
Because the game that they played was the best game.
All right, jury, you've heard three pitches.
Now it's your turn to ask questions and hold these three accountable.
Lisa, do you want to kick us off?
Obviously, I really like Survivor. It makes me very, very happy.
So, Luke, I was wondering if you could tell me something about Survivor that
makes you as happy as Survivor makes me.
Man, I just like catching crabs.
I like running around the jungle, jumping off cliffs. I like the fire
part. I thrive out here.
That's why I say I am survivor.
And here I am now next to Janine and Parvati. And I can just imagine
how happy and how honored you guys must be to sit next to the world's greatest
player.
Sari, what do you got?
Miss Parvati, my question for you, Parv, the night when I lost that fire,
I felt obviously devastated, but I felt that you were more
devastated than I was.
Why was it so important for you for me to be sitting here with you?
Uh...
It's
so...
miraculous to have a survivor soulmate.
And I was like, if Suri wants to work with me and we can lock in like we did
in Micronesia to have another chance, I'm gonna get her to the end of the
game.
And as soon as I knew you had to go up against Luke at fire, I was like, this
is gonna be a bloodbath.
I was, like, trying to cheer you on, and you got the fire, and then you almost
got it, and I was like, she's gonna do it.
And then you didn't, and I'm like, oh, it just feels like... It
feels like a sinking feeling, like I wanted you, I wanted you to be sitting
here.
I really did.
All right, Tommy, what do you got for us?
Party So for me there was times in a game when I tried to play with you Were
you ever gonna play with me or were you just playing me?
No, I was playing with you when we got to before we got to the merge it was
World strong.
Yeah. Yeah, it's five people but like with me like where you never like oh
Well, yeah, it's just like I have loved your spirit and your
essence in this game.
But I saw how close you were with Lisa and Cass.
So I invested my time and energy in the women that I had previously aligned
with, trying to work with Kirby.
Basically, it was world strong, woman strong, and every tummy strong.
It's just not going to be our love story. I'm sorry.
Thank you. I can't work with everybody.
Yeah. I want to work with your tummy.
OK, let's go on there. So, Luke, you've been, since day one, Aussie strong.
Yeah. You said yesterday, last Tribal, that you even wanted the Australian to
win this thing.
Yes. So why wouldn't I take the play from that playbook and vote World Strong
tonight?
I totally understand.
And you know what, Tommy?
I had to fight from the bottom.
The moment Nocera got taken, I straightaway knew we'd lost majority.
And that's why I ran up to you.
And I was sitting in a perfect position.
Shawnee and me had voted with you guys.
We were ready to make the move. It was proof. We wrote it down.
Yet at the same time, I did have Jay. And Jay was saying, play with Seri and
play with Pop.
But I actually wanted to work with yous.
If yous...
Took me and Shawnee to the spa.
Even one of us, probably.
No doubt, yous would have still had me and Shawnee. And you would have had the
five. And I would have taken out these guys. But yous, you didn't.
Yous, like, left us out to dry for 24 hours and then expected us to vote with
you.
You know, I just felt more like abandoned to the fact that let's jump
over with Suri and Pav.
I played the safe...
Vote.
I actually feel like I didn't take the crazy blind side. I didn't take the
crazy move. And that's how I've got here in final three.
All right, Cass, what do you got?
In order to win this game, you need, let's say, like four votes from us.
Yeah.
Parvati, which votes here?
You think you have and why?
Cass, I
think you and I
were each other's fiercest competition out here.
So if the tables were turned and I was on the jury and you were here, you would
get my vote.
And Lisa as well.
the women who are in my women's alliance and maybe kirby
because kirby also has shown up as this huge player
and i think if you come in
and want to play at a high level of competition, and you want to, like,
really run and gun this game, then you will vote for the person who was on the
right side of the votes, whose plan came through every single time, who knew what
was going on, and was already one of the biggest threats in the game and
outlasted some of the other massive threats in the game.
All right, Sarah.
Janine. Sarah.
Funny thing about jury, we do talk. Yep. So we do get insights into people's
games and we come here wanting to clarify the missing pieces.
Just because your game is so based around loyalty, Kirby and I have been
chatting. Kirby was Aussie strong until you had that conversation with her
saying that I was throwing her name out there, which I was.
But... I think you're a smart enough person to know that if you start stoking
the flames, Kirby will move.
And, you know, that broke our Aussie strong agreement.
And it played you into a minority with Luke.
It was Janine that broke up the Aussies. Yeah.
God damn it!
You say you played a flawless game, and I can't look past that.
little floor because um you were actually going for each
other um yes i felt like i had to choose yes right so not then though but
like i i thought that it was important for kirby to know what was going on not
then though
Because you were actually going for each other, I felt like I had to choose.
Yes. Not then, though.
But, like, I thought that it was important for Kirby to know what was
going on.
Not then, though.
I wanted to play with Kirby and I wanted to get her trust.
Now, if...
I got that trust back, and she actually told me she was voting for you, then
maybe I would have had an opportunity to say, whoa, Bessie, we want to be Aussie
strong, we want to keep the majority.
So I don't... Did you not... So did you not tell Janine that...?
Well, she knew that, obviously, I would become headhunting.
I didn't know, Sarah.
I didn't know.
But when you said to me I needed to be weary of this, Queen.
Yep, yep.
If you know the way I play, if I hear my name, I'm coming.
No, no, but no, the thing is, though, you still make your own choices.
All right, Shani.
Got a question?
Luke. Yeah. Was there any, like, single moment that you felt the most vulnerable
and then how did you flip that around to now be sitting at the final three from
the bottom?
Yeah, oh, look, I think when we voted Cass out.
I think when we went for that second immunity, I thought that was the time
where I needed to win.
And I learnt something in that trial.
Parvati had a parchment that could take someone's idol.
So I joined up with Parvati. And you've got to understand, for me
to get her to rip up that parchment, that's a crazy move. It only benefits
me.
As much as she can sit there and go, it benefits her, she could have taken my
idol straight off me, left me powerless and blindsided me.
I didn't do that because I wanted to play with Luke.
I thought he's a big threat in this game. He's willing to go to the end with
me. Let's do it. So I was willing to do the trust exercise to rip up the
parchment. That was a conscious choice for me to build trust with Luke and
Janine so that Seri and I would have a four going into the final.
All right, Kirby.
This is to you, Pav.
I knew from day one that I wanted to stand next to the Queen and up there and
play this game with you.
Told you the truth, everything that I knew and everything else.
All I want to know is, was that a consideration for you at all?
So... That mattered to me, and I wanted to play with you too.
I just felt like we could do some real damage in this game.
Just like Bonnie and Clyde, but were we ever going to be in it?
Or was I just getting broken up with?
I wanted to work with you, and I believed you.
When you were saying, like, I'm committed, I'm with you, and I was like,
yeah, let's do this.
Like, I felt that with you.
And then when we got to merge, I already had this solid four.
And they were like, okay, we got to take out Kirby.
And I was like, maybe it's too soon.
Maybe don't vote out Kirby tonight.
But the plan was already in place.
The momentum was already happening. But even still, I almost played my idol for
you. I was like...
Do I come into this tribal and blow this whole thing up?
But at that point, if I was going to go back against it, I would be going
against the tide and I would be burning people that I was building trust with,
Luke and Janine.
And also, I was starting to think about the end game.
And this game for me has been the culmination of everything that
I've learned in my entire life.
to be able to adapt when I needed to adapt, tune into my intuition when
people are getting paranoid and chaos is happening.
And I've been on the right side of every single vote because I've either known
what the plan was or I created the plan.
I have been the biggest threat in this game and no one ever wrote my
name down.
I don't know. It's shocking to me.
Okay, jury, you should have more than enough information to decide who you
think deserves the title and the quarter million dollars for the last time.
It is time to vote.
For the last time, it is time to vote.
Shawnee, you're up.
This is such an amazing final three. It's actually so hard.
has been exceptional this and every game you've played and that makes you
undisputably the greatest of all time.
Don't think that this vote is because I love you.
This vote is because I truly believe that you are the
best Survivor player in the world.
I'll go count the votes.
Well, we asked the world to come play Australian Survivor and you did not
disappoint.
Your passion and commitment to the game has given us a remarkable season.
So thank you.
And you Aussies weren't bad either.
The only thing left to do is crown a winner.
So I'm going to read the votes.
Here we go.
First vote.
Poverty.
Luke.
That's one vote poverty, one vote Luke.
Poverty.
That's two votes poverty, one vote Luke.
Poverty.
Three votes poverty, one vote Luke.
winner of Australia versus the world, Harmony.
As you check.
This is my final
time playing Survivor, so to have been awarded the win from the jury is
like the sweetest moment.
It has been a pleasure to be a part of your Survivor journey, and you will
forever be my Survivor soulmate.
I'm so grateful to have been a part of this incredible experience of Australia
versus the world.
There's something about this game that just gets in my blood. I feel like I was
born to play Survivor.
Being in the World Tribe, I've watched your game from front row, and I have one
thing to say. You are still the great player that made me fall in love with
this game.
I think this is the best game of Survivor I've played because I think I
made some pretty great moves.
I kept myself in a majority alliance.
Game was impeccable. Your timing was impeccable. I think you deserve this
crown.
With the biggest target on your back since day one and still able to play the
level that you played, you truly are the greatest of all time.
This feels like a full circle moment for me personally.
It feels like kind of a rewriting history in a way that feels so right.
