JONATHAN LAPAGLIA: Previously, on Australian Survivor...
WOMAN: Go, boys!
Brawn made a triumphant comeback...
(ALL CHEER)
WOMAN: Pull! (MAN GROANS)
..claiming victory at both challenges.
WOMAN: Go, boys.
MAN: One more, guys, one more!
(ALL SCREAM AND CHEER)
And they got more than they bargained for
when they took Ally on the reward.
ALLY: There's a very clear alliance between the girls.
They're so loyal.
I am dead.
You've got to also watch out for Rich.
But when she returned...
Bomb Squad.
Rich goes home today. AJ goes home next.
I just think it's illogical.
..the coven began to crack.
This is the third time in a row
that you are trying to not let us do this.
And that is a problem.
But a shocking twist...
Tonight you'll be voting someone to join Brawn.
That person will not be rejoining the Brain tribe.
..forced them to stick together...
I volunteer.
Sorry. Can we just have a group meeting here?
..sending Rich to the Brawn tribe...
This one brings out me eyes, I reckon.
You might need this.
Oh, wow. Perfect.
..along with an advantage.
"Choose any two tribe mates to leave Tribal Council.
"They cannot vote and they cannot be voted for.
"It must be played at the very next Tribal Council."
19 are left. Who will be going home tonight?
This is great. This is the best shelter ever.
I'm so pumped to be here with you guys.
Stoked.
Immediately, in the Brawn tribe,
they're, like, the nicest bunch of people.
I got here in the middle of the night,
and they had to squeeze me into their bed.
Their shelter's amazing.
Do you think you're going back?
No.
You don't think you're going back? Not until Tribals or...
No. 100%. No funny business.
I'm just here sipping pina coladas, mate.
So, I'm probably the most sociable.
Yeah. Yeah.
I'm the fresh face in this camp.
Everyone wants to know about you. Everyone wants to know your story.
So I'm just being an open book at the moment.
I'm no mole. I'm not going back in 24 hours.
I live here now.
I'm just here to have fun, man. Yeah.
I think Rich feels like the bright, new shiny toy
that we all get to play with.
And that's not how I feel.
Yeah. Yeah?
URSULA: Yeah, no, exactly.
Everyone on the Brawn tribe is aware that Rich could be a spy.
It's just another person I've got to get rid of.
Mm.
Here you go.
Sweet.
Feast. Feast yourself.
Thanks, guys.
There you go.
Putting my hand up to come to the Brawns at this time
was a huge advantage for me.
(ALL LAUGH)
Along with the opportunity to meet new people
came a little thing called a scroll.
It basically gives me the power to remove two people
from the next Tribal Council.
They cannot vote and they cannot be voted for.
That is a huge weapon...
..and nobody knows.
I don't know if he's trustworthy.
If there is to be any more Tribal Councils,
I think he's just first on the chopping block.
If Brawn loses the next Tribal Council,
I could use the scroll to save myself.
But if Brains lose the next Immunity Challenge,
I can hand it to someone on the Brains.
So I'm the man right now. I'm running this game.
Hey, I just want to say thanks for welcoming me in.
I'm the guy in the hot seat.
I'm living it up, brother.
It really does.
It's calm.
It's just calm.
Mmm!
KARIN: Last Tribal Council,
we did the Rich vote and we sent him to Brawn camp.
I wanted Rich to go home. I'm so disappointed.
I mean, I tried...
I've been trying for three Tribals to get this man out.
And then he finds a get-out-of-jail card. God.
(SIGHS)
Rich was the cause of a solid division
between different sets within the coven.
Ally, Zara and I wanted to get Rich out.
Laura and Logan didn't.
Within the coven, it's really tense.
The thing about working with Laura and Logan is...
..Laura functions on fear and paranoia.
Logan, she goes from zero to nuclear in a millisecond.
I want to work with logical players.
I want to call my own shots.
The only way I'm going to do it
is if I move ahead with my own alliance.
MYLES: The opportunity is there...
OK. ..if you guys are totally cool with it,
for you, AJ and I to take control here.
Because all these people are voting very emotionally.
Yeah.
So... That's it.
You down for? ZARA: Yeah.
Yeah.
Then, I think that moves our path, going forward.
Are we going to jump?
I think we should jump.
The coven kept me safe.
But the way forward requires that I take a risk.
I think we've met the end.
The end of the coven.
LOGAN: I came in last night from Tribal Council... Yeah.
..feeling I was in a shitty, awkward, yucky position...
Yeah, I was so upset with that.
I was like, how do I go about this?
I don't know what to change right now to feel better.
We couldn't have done anything different.
Yeah.
I'm glad that, like, we sulked
and we were like, we don't wanna vote for him.
(LAUGHS)
I really love Zara as a person,
but as an alliance member I think we've got different views
on how we want to play the game and how to play the game.
Yeah.
It's just she's not flexible
and when you're in an alliance you have to be aligned together.
That's literally what an alliance is. I felt so strong...
And if you're being dictated to, that's just not it.
Yeah.
And because of that, I've come back to camp
and I was like, I don't want to work with her.
What do you think?
I've been saying this for days. Ha.
I'm so annoyed at you.
I think I want to move forward with the two boys, Kaelan and Max.
I feel really bad turning on the coven.
That's not something I wanted to do.
I feel bad. But the thing is, now I'm like, "OK, this is moving."
We have a plan.
No-one likes to see their favourite girl band disband.
Like, this is not cute.
Love you.
But there comes a time when you realise that an alliance...
..is people you're ALIGNED with.
I don't think I want to continue with the girls.
Yes.
I'd rather go ahead with Kaelan, Laura and you.
OK, so top of the hit list?
Number one, AJ.
AJ. He's too sly.
And also, it's not going to ruffle any feathers.
Are you happy with that?
Whoo!
So, we have a new alliance that has formed.
So we've got one, two, three, plus Laura.
If we just wrote AJ...
We have a really easy first vote.
The vote is for AJ.
So mama's finally getting her vengeance.
And in doing so...
..we're going to blow up the coven.
Come on in!
MAX: What do you reckon?
WOMAN: What is that?
Oh, baby, we're gonna be fighting today!
KARIN: What have you got there, JLP?
Yeah!
JONATHAN: Loving the hat.
Oh, you big Brawn up the back, eh?
Muscles!
Look who we got.
RICH: How are you, guys?
So, Rich. Yeah?
How was your first night as a Brawn?
First night was sleeping at the Buckingham Palace, yeah.
Their shelter is lit.
It's a tarp, it's off the floor.
There's coordination and culture within the group.
It feels like home already.
Oh, righto.
Ally, what I'm really interested in,
what is the dynamic of the tribe now that Rich has gone?
I mean...
..it was a unanimous decision to send old mate next door.
So...we'll just leave it at that.
ALL: Ouch. I volunteered.
Well, another tribe's trash is another tribe's treasure!
Isn't that what they say?
(BRAWN LAUGH)
Mm!
Alright. Are you ready to get to today's Reward Challenge?
ALL: Yeah!
OK, for today's challenge,
you're going to square off on a platform, sumo-style.
Using a padded bag,
you will attempt to knock your opponent off the platform
and into the water.
First to do so will score a point for their tribe.
First tribe to three wins the reward.
Wanna know what you're playing for?
ALL: Yeah!
A camp comfort kit...
Yeah! ..thanks to Ikea.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)
With enough soft pillows, cushions and warm blankets
to turn your camp into a nice home and give your sleep a major upgrade,
which I'm sure you're all needing right now.
Mm. Yes, indeed.
Worth playing for?
ZARA: A pillow will be delightful.
Alright, Brawn, you have an extra player.
You're gonna need to sit someone out. Who's it gonna be? I'll sit out.
Kate, you're on the bench.
Everyone else, a minute to strategise.
Let's get to it!
Alright, here we go.
First round is for the boys.
Brains, you have first pick.
Yeah, I'll go.
Myles...
ALLY: Take your glasses off.
OK, Myles, don't kill yourself.
NOONAN: Yay, Paulie!
Myles and Paulie.
MAN: Go, Myles.
Oh, Paulie. You're dead, sister.
Oh, please.
GIRL: Go, Myles!
Avoid the moneymaker.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm not making any money with this.
No, I know.
Alright, here we go. First round.
We have Myles for Brains, taking on Paulie for Brawn.
For reward, Survivors, ready...
Go! GIRL: Go, Myles!
Myles keen to get to it.
MAN: Go, Myles, go! MAN 2: Go on, Paulie!
Right out of the gate, Paulie pushing him back.
WOMAN: Come on, Paulie! Yeah!
And Myles goes in!
RICH: (BARKS)
Paulie takes the first point for Brawn. Brawn leads 1-0.
GIRL: Well done, Myles.
Are you alright? MYLES: Yeah, yeah. I'm fine.
Alright. Brawn, who are you putting up?
Yeah. Noon's on.
ALL: Noon! Noonan.
MAN: Let's go, Noon!
Ally, reluctantly coming out for Brains.
WOMAN: Go, Ally!
MAN: This is yours, Noons.
(PANTS DRAMATICALLY)
What if we just drop it and breakdance?
Or we could just hug? Do you wanna hug?
Yeah.
Alright, here we go.
Next round. We have Noonan for Brawn taking on Ally for Brains.
Survivors, ready...
Go! BRAWN: Go, Noonan!
MAN: Go, Noonan!
(RICH BARKS)
Noonan quickly overpowering Ally, taking another point for Brawn.
ZARA: Good job, Ally!
Good on ya, Al. Unlucky, Ally.
Brawn lead 2-0.
PD: You made that look easy.
Alright. Next round is for the women.
Brawn, who are you putting up?
Ursula! Let's go, Urs.
Whoo! Let's go, Urs!
You got this. Brains?
Kaz?
Yeah, I'll do it. Get 'em. Yeah.
Brawn lead 2-0.
Brains would love to get something on the board here.
Here we go.
Next round. We have Karin for Brains...
I can't watch.
MAN: Go, Kaz.
..taking on Ursula for Brawn.
Two very strong women. This should be a good match-up.
(UNDER BREATH) Oh, my god.
Survivors, ready...
Go!
BRAINS: Go, go, go! Go!
Karin quick out of the gate!
Go, Kaz, go! Go, Kaz!
Gets Ursula on the ground, has her pinned.
Struggling to get back up, but she is not giving up.
MAN: Go, Urs! Come on!
Ursula is a powerhouse.
Just hold her! Hold her energy. Hold her energy!
MAN: Yes, Kaz!
(BOTH PANT)
Up now, Urs! Up, up, up, up! Yes!
Up, up! Yes, Urs! Yes!
Ursula gets the upper hand.
Now she has Karin pinned on the ground.
It's Karin now struggling to get out of Ursula's grip.
(BOTH GRUNT)
Both girls taking a break.
Playing dead possum, dead possum!
Who's going to make the next move?
Right.
Karin flips Ursula over.
(SCREAMS)
Whoa! Big war cry.
Karin giving it everything.
Argh! No!
Uh!
Oh!
And it's now Ursula who has the upper hand.
Now she's got Karin pinned on the deck.
Both women waiting for someone to make a move.
We are ten minutes in.
MAN: Let her up and then get her when she gets up.
Stand up first!
Both girls getting exhausted.
First up, up, up! Up, up, up!
Ursula up on her feet.
(URSULA GROANS)
No!
MORGAN: Go, Urs! Yes! Come on, come on!
Yes! (CLAPS) Yes!
Wow!
Karin flips her over. Having none of it.
(CHEERING)
PD: Push her off!
(BOTH PANT AND GRUNT)
(BOTH PANT AND GRUNT)
Argh!
Argh!
Alright, Karin and Ursula, it's been a hell of a battle,
but let's call it a draw.
Well done. Wow.
Can't get an end to this.
Yes, Kaz!
That was an epic battle. It's still 2-0.
MAN: Awesome.
ALLY: You're a machine!
(SIGHS)
OK, we're gonna make this round a little more interesting.
Oh.
It's going to be two versus two. Oh, yeah, man.
And it's for the boys.
Let's go, Maxy! Max and Kaelan.
Brawn?
PD and Rich!
Come on, Richie! Where's my big brother?
Oh, mate. Come on! Let's go!
Brawn lead 2-0.
WOMAN: Come on, PD!
Brawn can win it right here.
Brains need to win it to stay in it.
Alright, here we go. Next round.
We have PD and Rich for Brawn taking on Kaelan and Max for Brains.
GIRL: Go, boys!
Both of your opponents need to go in to score the point.
Survivors, ready...
Yeah!
Go!
Oh, it is scrappy out there!
Go! Push!
Ha! Rich pushes Max in!
Hey, help!
It's Kaelan by himself.
He goes in! That is it!
Brawn close it out.
Brawn wins the reward!
(CHEERING)
Alright, Brawn. Congratulations.
The Ikea comfort kit is yours. Come grab it.
BRAWN: Whoo!
Head back to camp. Enjoy.
We just take the whole table?
Not the table.
KRISTIN: Oh! That is so soft. So soft.
Head on out.
BEN: A warm pillow... Bye! So soft.
Well done.
JESSE: Sleep easy tonight, ladies and gentlemen. NOONAN: Always do.
Bye.
Brains, you know the deal. Got nothing for you.
Head back to camp.
Thanks, Jonathan.
I'm absolutely stoked we got this Ikea comfort package.
My first Reward Challenge with the Brawn -
the Brains ain't got anything on us,
especially with me added to the cavalry.
See ya later, buddies.
KRISTIN: We were walking back from the Reward Challenge,
and we've got our big, fluffy Ikea pillows and blankets...
Should we fluff the blankets?
NOONAN: Thank you, Ikea.
Oh! That is so soft! So soft.
And there was more! Putting this here.
Oh, my God.
PD: Oh, we got tea and coffee!
Oh, my god!
Tea and coffee and biscuits.
WOMAN: Oh! What?!
We got presents from home or something.
JESSE: Do we hope it's letters or photos, or what?
PAULIE: Letters! WOMAN: Everything.
There's letters from home!
And it just, instantly,
gives me the biggest warm, tingly feelings inside.
I don't even like sugar in my tea, but today I do.
That tea's so good. WOMAN: It is really good.
RICH: Well, if this is life at the Brawns, I'm all in, guys.
Rich, this is what we do every afternoon.
NOONAN: Yeah.
WOMAN: Yeah, we always get tea and cookies.
BEN: Alright. WOMAN: Who's first?
KRISTIN: I'm happy to go first.
Kristin. (GIGGLES)
Oh... Wow. (GASPS) Photos!
(GASPS) This is all of my family and best friends
sending me love hearts.
ALL: Aw! Oh, don't.
Straightaway, everyone was trying to hold back their tears.
It was really nice.
This'll be from all my brothers.
"I wanted to take a moment
"to remind you of how amazing you are.
"And you have a massive head."
Thanks... (ALL LAUGH)
Such a brotherly sentence.
Louis says, "This is me and Katie at Ikea."
JESSE: Oh, my God! What are the odds!
What the hell? That's so weird.
"To my wonderful fiance. We are rooting for you, baby,
"and are ready for you to bring home that half a milli."
(ALL LAUGH)
"Love you always, Rhiannon."
ALL: Aw!
I got very lucky.
(ALL LAUGH)
Oh, Mum.
"Hope you're having a wonderful time and not getting too homesick.
"Remember to keep stretching and clean your teeth."
Oh, my God, you can't do that.
OK. This one is from my dad.
"Where you are today, and reading this letter,
"you got there with your own grit and determination.
"I remember when you finished school and you sat me down...
"..to talk to me about the hardship you went through at your school
"with all the bullying,
"the name-calling that you were exposed to.
"You were worried about how I would take this,
"being the hard father that I was.
"That day, you were my hero.
"For I do not think I could have gone through what you went through
"and came out of it unscathed.
"I remember crying with you that day
"and said I have your back today and always in every way."
It was difficult for me growing up.
I was constantly bullied and ridiculed,
and I didn't know why.
I didn't know what made me stand out from everybody else.
My dad and I had a really turbulent relationship.
He didn't know how to relate to me because I was so withdrawn.
You know, I came out to my dad
and he was able to understand who I was now,
and our relationship transformed.
"I look at you as a baby eagle perched in its nest."
(ALL LAUGH)
Nice segue.
(ALL LAUGH)
"That baby eagle stood on the edge of the nest,
"expanding its enormous wings,
"and took the leap of faith and did not look back.
"You are a survivor, and now playing the game of Survivor.
"We love you and we are proud of you.
"Love always, Dad."
Paulie, that's beautiful.
Yeah, it is.
It's a lot.
You got little tears on your letter to your dad.
I know!
I feel, like, at peace. Do you know what I mean?
Like, it's so nice to...
..to know that he sees me and that he respects me,
and he understands me and he celebrates me.
I'm such an ugly crier.
(ALL LAUGH)
WOMAN: Absolutely not!
It was the perfect gift that we could have been given today.
(MYLES LAUGHS) Yeah.
That's my chore for you today.
OK, cool, cool.
I've had an absolute roller-coaster so far.
I've been firmly on the bottom of this tribe
since the start of the game.
And I've managed to scurry my way up into what is a fairly solid position.
I've had some very good chats with Zara and Karin,
and they've assured me
they really want to work with me and AJ, going forward.
AJ is also my number one ally, so this is actually fantastic for me.
Right now, you're my man.
My vote's with you, bro. It really is.
I appreciate that.
I like Zara, and I trust Zara. I really do.
Yeah. I really like both of them.
My hope is that, with help of Zara and Karin,
I can convince the other girls to go for Max.
Max is a showman.
Max loves chaos for the sake of chaos.
Chill out.
WOMAN: I think he freaked out.
Eat some ice, dude.
That's not how I want to play.
I want to align with strategic players.
So he's someone that I'm very willing to throw under the bus.
I think it makes perfect sense to get Max out here.
Yeah.
Especially for Zara and Karin, who have, like, no link to him as...
Yeah. Yeah, exactly.
So, like, I genuinely think Max is the next vote.
Hey!
He won't see it coming.
Yeah.
Kaelan, so far, has not been a big strategic presence around the camp.
He's not someone
that a lot of people feel is very involved in conversation.
And I don't know if he's got the greatest understanding
of the dynamics of the tribe.
But Kaelan is one of my closest allies in this game.
He proved he wants to work with me by warning me about the first vote
before anyone else did.
And I want to work with Kaelan.
You and AJ are the two
that, from the start have, like, shown me a little bit of trust.
I've also just been really vibing with Zara and Karin recently.
So, if that's a five that you're really comfortable moving forward with.
Definitely. Into tight ones. Tight ones.
Yeah. Yeah, exactly.
Exactly. Because after this vote, suddenly we have the numbers. Yeah.
I know AJ's down.
I'm standing in the forest gathering timber.
I can hear a conversation being had by Kaelan and Myles.
Would you be comfortable,
like, if we did end up, like, targeting Max?
Yeah.
Myles says, "I think a smart plan would be to get Max out next."
Max is my buddy.
Of course I'm going to go straight to Max and then say,
"You need to be really careful here. Your head's on the chopping block."
You know you're the next vote, right?
What?
Yeah.
I'm the next vote off?
Yeah.
Why?
Myles just said.
That's weaselly stuff. That's weaselly stuff.
That little jungle rat is trying to bring me down.
And now he is firmly in my firing line.
Myles has gone to stab me in the back
without thinking about the army that I have behind me.
We're ready for war.
I see you, Myles.
I'm watching you work your little rat magic.
Don't betray me.
People need to learn this lesson, and they need to learn it soon.
Come on in!
MAN: Oh, my.
WOMAN: This is massive.
JESSE: The slide is back, baby!
Oh, it looks sick.
Morning. ALL: Morning.
Shall we get to today's Immunity Challenge? ALL: Yeah!
First things first.
See you soon.
Jesse. Thank you.
Once again, immunity is back up for grabs.
For today's challenge...
On my go,
you're going to swim out to collect a wooden grid,
bring it back to shore and lock it into position.
You'll then race up a slide to retrieve puzzle pieces.
And you'll use those pieces to solve a word puzzle on the grid.
First tribe gets it right wins immunity
and is safe from the vote.
Losers - Tribal Council,
where somebody's going to become the fifth person voted out.
Brawn, you have an extra player. You need to sit someone out.
It cannot be the same person in back-to-back challenges.
Big Richie on the bench, eh?
Yeah, I'm happy to sit out. Yeah, no worries.
Yeah, I'm sitting out this one, mate.
Alright, Rich, you're on the bench.
Everyone else - a minute to strategise.
Let's get to it.
Oh, shit.
Alright, here we go.
For immunity, Survivors, ready...
Go!
You've got four clips. One each corner of the grid.
You need to release all of them before you can move on.
Come on this one!
PD: This one's free.
BEN: We good?
JESSE: Go. Just drag, PD.
Guys, just keep swinging to the front.
Brawn gets it done quickly. They're moving on.
KAELAN: These two are done.
Go, go, quick, quickly.
Brains release that last clip.
KARIN: Alright, final one, let's go.
Kaelan tugging on that grid.
He does not want to go back to Tribal.
We are neck and neck. Nothing in it at this stage.
Someone get to the other side.
That grid is heavy, so you're going to need to work together.
Alright, everybody, you guys get around there.
Let's go!
OK, quick feet, guys.
Brains out of the water first. Brawn right on their tail.
One, two, three, go! Nice!
(GROANING)
MAN: You ready?
Get it in position.
Line it up, boys.
Tip, tip, tip, tip.
Once you're in, you can push it up.
Tip!
Somebody go to the front.
Lock it in at the top.
Push right, this way.
Brains struggling.
Almost...
BEN: Click it in.
WOMAN: Nice!
You're good, Brawn! Get to your mat!
On the mat! On the mat! Brawn, take the lead.
Come on, Brains!
WOMAN: Do it, push. MAN: There it is!
You're good! Get to your mat!
Let's go!
First person!
Kristin - first out on the slide for Brawn.
And you've got to work your way up that slide, backwards,
to get to your bags of puzzle pieces.
Zara, right behind her, for Brains.
Kristin quickly untying that first knot, coming back down.
MAN: Very good, Kristin!
Go, Brawn!
Ursula heading out now for Brawn.
MAN: Good, Zara!
Zara gets her first bag of puzzle pieces.
You're good. Go, Brains!
Karin out on the course now.
Ursula wasting no time, speeding back down.
PD: Good, Urs! Kick it and we go! Good, Urs!
You're good. Go, Brawn! It's Kate out on the course now.
Get ready, get ready.
Nice, let's go! Run, run, run!
Max...
What is it?
Tonight.
Karin has the second bag for Brains.
You're good, Brains.
Max, out on the course now.
Maxy, all leg!
Kate coming back down with the third bag of puzzle pieces for Brawn.
WOMAN: Nice, Kate!
Brawn have a nice lead.
Jesse out on the course now.
Oh-ho-ho!
Great, Jesse.
Wow! What the hell?
KRISTIN: Go, Jesse!
Working his way up that net like Spider-Man.
(APPLAUSE)
Incredible.
Wow! That was the quickest retrieval ever.
Jesse quickly back.
Max is back. You're good, Brains!
Go, Brawn!
AJ out on the course now.
PD going for Brawn.
WOMAN: Go, PD!
Brawn have a one-bag lead.
Use your feet!
PD going up for that last bag of puzzle pieces.
Brains still have two bags.
JESSE: Use those guns, PD.
That's it. Let's go! WOMAN: Nice, PD.
PD gets stuck in the net...
..untangles himself.
He's coming back down
with the last bag of puzzle pieces for Brawn.
Come on, run it!
You're good, Brawn. Start unpacking your pieces.
KATE: Paulie, you pour it out.
Kaelan going out for the last bag for Brains.
Whipping up that net! Wow! What a beast.
Morgan and Noonan unpacking the bags of puzzle pieces for Brawn.
25 letters spell five words.
Kaelan working that last knot.
Here he comes, back down the slide...
WOMAN: Go, Kaelan!
..bringing it home for Brains. Here he comes, guys!
You're good, Brains. Start unpacking your pieces.
MYLES: Can we just start getting letters up immediately?
It's Myles and Logan working the puzzle for Brains.
Brawn had a nice lead, but Brains have caught up,
quickly heading out, placing out pieces.
LOGAN: Be careful, Myles.
Yeah, I'm all good. I'm all good.
That's upside down!
Upside down! Upside down!
Myles! Myles!
Ooh!
Myles slips.
Lots of energy from Brains...
The bottom word should be immune.
..trying to solve this puzzle.
Different story over at Brawn...
WOMAN: Noons, you're on it. You're on it.
..calmly working their way through it.
Morgs, top left.
Yeah, it's looking good. Yep.
Logan, Logan, Logan, Logan!
Something, something, your tribe.
Logan coming back,
trying to get some secret advice from the rest of the tribe.
MYLES: Huh?
Brawn continue to work calmly on their puzzle.
(BLEEP)
Myles drops a piece.
Yeah.
WOMAN: Come down and solve first. We've got everything up now.
Both tribes at a standstill.
MAN: There's no U, so it can't be that.
Silence. (CHUCKLES)
Nah.
MYLES: OK, I think the other one's...
There's got to be something wrong somewhere else.
Immune makes a lot of sense.
LOGAN: It's not the word "your". You need the U for "immune".
ALLY: That's not immune.
(GASPS)
MYLES: What is it? What is it?
Logan thinks she sees it. Is she correct?
Brains working quickly now, taking pieces down.
Logan, it's not going to make grammatical sense.
(SIGHS) You don't think?
Oh, oh! I've got it, yeah.
Brawn... I think they see something.
WOMAN: Go, Noonan!
Noonan quickly on it.
Brains, you should be using your brains.
We're trying...Paulie!
Just you wait, you might not be right.
LOGAN: Change this. MYLES: Yeah! Tribe?
Are we gonna copy these guys? Myles, maybe you go up.
Start copying! Go up.
Start copying!
R, remain... Oh, OK! Go!
Logan thinks she sees it.
Now it's a race to get all those letters up on the grid.
MYLES: Yeah, yeah.
Guys, they've got it. Get moving. Go, go, go!
NOONAN: You got it?
R...E...M...
Logan working very quickly, wasting no time.
The M!
MYLES: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Brains can really feel the pressure here.
Oh, man. What are these last two letters?
Intact! Intact!
I, C, T!
BEN: Come on! Oh!
WOMAN: Noon! Lock it up! Get the...!
We're down to the last word each. Who's going to get there first?
Myles! WOMAN: Come on!
Got it there!
Got it? Good!
And that is it!
Brawn wins immunity, sending Brains back to Tribal Council.
(CHEERING)
I had it.
Sorry, Logs, you killed that. That's my bad.
(BRAWN CHEER)
Brawn, congratulations. Immunity is yours again.
Whoo-hoo! Yeah!
(ALL LAUGH AND CHEER)
Alright, no-one going home.
Brawn, head on out. Enjoy your night off.
JESSE: Thank you, Jono!
Well done. Yeah, dude.
(WHISPERS) Watch him.
WOMAN: Good luck, guys.
Good luck.
Alright, Brains, it's a different story for you.
Tribal Council tonight,
where one of you will become the fifth person voted out of this game.
Head on out. I'll see you tonight.
WOMAN: See you tonight!
See what?
ALLY: When we lost,
I saw Rich pull out a piece of parchment paper
that he passes to Max and then whispers in his ear,
"Continue the work of the Bomb Squad."
Now, I know from last Tribal Council that the Bomb Squad is the boys,
and I'm panicked.
We lose the challenge, and Rich hands me an advantage.
Yeah, everyone gather around.
Everybody saw me get the advantage. So, thanks for the grenade, Ricky.
I've got myself a little advantage.
"Congratulations,
"you are now in possession of great power in the game.
"This advantage allows you to choose any two tribe mates
"to leave Tribal Council before the vote is cast.
"Those two people will return to camp immediately.
"They cannot vote and they cannot be voted for."
Essentially, I can send two people away. They can't vote.
I can send myself and other people.
I see this advantage as a very powerful moment in this game.
I can wreak some absolute havoc.
Rich wanted me to use it to band the boys together
and take out one of the ladies.
But obviously,
I've got my own problems I'm dealing with around camp.
'Cause, as you know, we have a pest problem around here...
..and I plan on stomping the rat out.
This advantage leaves Myles the jungle rat
ready for the killing.
And my revenge will be quick, smart and complete.
So, I will be sending myself and AJ home.
And I'll let you guys scramble among yourselves
and determine who you want to send home.
I could kill Max very easily right now.
I have gone to Max with an offer of an alliance
with myself, Laura, him and Kaelan, and he was over the moon.
We had a really solid plan going in to take out AJ,
but Max is going to send him back to camp.
And we'll have to figure out who to vote out instead.
I think it's really dumb.
What Max has done?
Yeah. He didn't even consult with anyone...
It was gonna be AJ, right? It was supposed to be AJ.
Yeah.
That annoys me. Yeah.
He's tried to make this move on his own, straightaway.
And when you're trying to form a new alliance and create trust,
you don't go make moves by yourself.
ZARA: I just don't know if I'm buying that off Max.
Look, he said what he said, we can't speculate.
AJ: I think it makes sense
'cause he thinks I'm voting with Myles.
He needs to get rid of Myles but he doesn't want to risk himself.
He doesn't need to get rid of Myles at all.
This is a dramatic thing that's happened in the last 24 hours.
Yes.
Yeah, but...
It's Max. In Max's mind it makes sense, right?
Alright. Well, let's just prepare for all eventualities.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Come in.
We're doing our... We're saving you.
Oh. I have no intentions of voting you out.
I think we will have four votes. Yeah.
If you were to save me, who would you be going to vote out?
Ally kind of proved herself to be incredibly black and white
when it comes to decision-making,
which really doesn't suit Zara and I's game at all.
If she's going to be very hard and fast
with where she draws the line,
that's not a player that can be easily influenced,
and that's not a player that's gonna make difficult decisions.
At this stage I'm obviously... (LAUGHS) You four...
Anyone but you?
Yeah. I'm at your service, whatever you guys want to do,
like, I'm happy to...
I gotta tell you guys about the name that I came up with for the alliance.
The name I came up with was The Graduates,
because there's a bunch of, like, high school BS that's going on
in this tribe.
And honestly, I think that some of us are a bit above it.
Yep. Come on.
Honestly, if this all goes to plan, this is our graduation ceremony.
Do we have the most degrees, as well?
Yeah, I reckon.
That, too. But I think it's a bit pretentious to think of it that way. But whatever.
I'm putting a lot of trust in my very newly-formed Graduate alliance
to hopefully get me through this next Tribal.
Zara and Karin have said that they want Ally.
KAELAN: They're happy with Ally? They're happy with Ally.
AJ and I would prefer Ally, as well.
I think that our five, that's the best way we move forward.
Yeah. Yeah.
So, we did come up with a name, by the way.
The name is The Graduates. Yeah.
Because there's a lot of high school bullshit going on in this tribe.
OK, gotcha.
This is our graduation ceremony!
This is the test to see if our Graduates alliance
is really what it stacks up to be.
This is where we're putting our games on the line
and we're drawing lines in the sand.
MAX: When can we get our four together?
ZARA: Oh, you still wanna hang out with us?
No. Just trust... No, just... Just trust in me.
OK, OK. OK?
Yeah, cool.
Thank God.
I was plotting revenge on the jungle rat,
but Rich - he wants to get the Bomb Squad together
and take out one of the girls.
I'm feeling in my bones...
..a cheeky little blind side might be on the cards.
I really want Ally gone.
She really gets on my nerves.
# We have no dry timber Wa-wa-wa-wa. #
I want to send Zara and Karin back to camp.
One, two, three, four, Ally, and even...
When we're at Tribal, I'll just say to AJ and Myles, "Vote Ally".
I thought we were gonna stick to the plan and get AJ.
KAELAN: Could Ally have a...? I don't want AJ gone.
I don't want Ally gone.
Yeah, neither do I. Not right now.
So are we going to try to convince Max to choose AJ?
Max is just trying to do some grand plan,
like, "Ooh, I've got an advantage," and, like, "I wanna make a big move."
You don't need to... What if he does take AJ out?
I think we should try and tell Max to go for Zara.
I think we should try and tell Max to go for Zara.
Logan and I really don't like the way that Zara reacted
when we said we wouldn't write down Rich's name.
She was emotional. She didn't listen to logic.
And she's not being a very good coven member.
That doesn't suit my game plan,
because I need to work with people that understand logic
and will do what I need them to do.
What are you doing to me?
Because I would love to keep Ally around.
I said that 30 seconds ago.
MAX: I didn't know how you felt.
So, if we take out Zara...
Yeah.
Send us home, then. Send us home.
No, 'cause I need your vote. You're gonna have to vote.
So, then, send...
I'm sending Karin and Myles back to camp
'cause I don't trust Myles.
OK.
So, you two, me and Kaelan. Us four are voting Zara.
Yeah.
Now we're splitting up a massive alliance. Yeah, I know.
Not us. (CHUCKLES)
Breaking the coven? That's a big move.
But at this point, I'd like to get out someone
that is a detriment to my game in the future.
Myself, Logan, Max, Ally and Kaelan,
that is definitely an alliance that I'd like to move forward with.
KAELAN: Did he say the name?
Zara? Yeah.
And I think I'm solidifying that alliance by breaking another.
Everyone thinks that I can be pulled into their pocket.
They definitely see me as someone who is a puppet for other people.
And they all want my vote.
Yeah, yeah. KARIN: Cool.
I absolutely feel powerful.
This is my first chance
to be part of something that is calling the shots.
And I can be the one who decides what happens.
The Graduates' plan at the moment is to go for Ally.
But there's lots of other secret side conversations going on
that Karin and I aren't part of.
Yeah.
To be honest, I don't really care
because I'm putting my trust in the Graduates' alliance.
Karin and I have decided the time to jump is now.
So much for the coven.
Mm-hm. Mm-mm.
That's disintegrated.
But Max is making me nervous.
Tonight, the key piece is who Max sends back to camp.
(SIGHS)
Who knows what that loose cannon is gonna do on the night.
Bring it on-n-n! (LAUGHS)
The plan today is to get rid of Zara and disband the coven.
But the power lies with Max tonight.
Yeah.
I do trust Max, I really do.
But he is just a little chaotic,
and I think he just wants to have fun, so that scares me.
At this stage, I'm hopeful that Max is going to do the right thing,
send the right people home, doesn't do anything chaotic
and he just falls in line and reins it in.
One of the plans tonight is that I might vote Myles out,
who tried to have my head yesterday.
And I've basically vowed that he's my enemy.
But the biggest move here is to vote out Zara,
break up that girl's alliance and forge my own
off the back of my own move.
It's my moment. I'm the man.
I'm holding the power.
I know I'm in control.
But I'm very visibly in control.
That can also be a really dangerous place to be in this game.
Like Spider-Man said, "With great power comes great responsibility."
And I'm feeling the weight of that power.
(CHUCKLES) It's glorious.
(LAUGHS)
NARRATOR: Watch Brains tackle Brawn
in the ultimate battle for survival with full episodes over on 10Play.
Hello again.
Evening.
Alright.
So, Laura, has Rich's departure shifted the dynamic of the tribe?
I think it has, yeah.
Rich was a very, uh, big character,
and he made a lot of noise around camp.
So, yeah, I think everyone's kind of feeling, weirdly,
a little bit more settled and a little bit more
on edge all at the same time.
So, Logan, Rich might be gone, but is his presence still felt?
Oh, hell, yeah. (LAUGHTER)
Rich is everywhere.
Um, we have a few decisions to make tonight,
and, unfortunately, Rich somehow is still pulling some strings.
Yeah.
AJ, what does Logan mean by that?
Rich was absolutely hilarious today.
The first thing I heard him say was, "Bomb Squad."
The thing after that was, "I have an advantage."
And he was just yelling crazy stuff nonstop.
And it was really funny to just hear him talk nonstop
from the sidelines.
Jonathan, he handed me a grenade today, a live grenade.
It was the least subtle thing you've ever seen.
(LAUGHTER)
This is the scroll. The scroll?
Yeah, the scroll. OK.
The scroll that you gave him, Jonathan.
He gave it to me.
At first, I'm thinking maybe this advantage
might be for everybody.
Turns out it's a solo advantage that now everybody knows about.
So, um...
I'm very powerful, tonight.
It's feeling good.
It's fun.
So did you share with everyone what was on the scroll?
I did share with everyone what's on the scroll.
Do you want the scroll?
Sure.
Thank you, Max.
This is the scroll.
You get to choose two people to send back to camp.
Cannot vote for them and they cannot vote for anyone here tonight.
So, Zara, I'm assuming there was a plan in place
before Max made his announcement.
Yeah, there was a plan.
We still don't know exactly what Max is about to do right now.
He has indicated to us who he is going to keep safe,
whether or not he actually does that,
because Max is Max, remains to be seen.
And, Ally, how do you feel about Max's sudden acquisition of power?
I think going off what he's said to all of us this afternoon, uh,
I think Max will do the right thing by the rest of the tribe.
Logan, if Max plays this correctly tonight, he has a lot of power.
How do you feel about that?
Uh, I wish it was me.
You wish you had the power?
Yeah, I mean, then it'd be my choice, right?
Sure.
But it's not your choice tonight. It's not.
It's definitely not, no. Max has a lot of power tonight.
Um, and Max is an entertainer.
So Max will do what is fun and entertaining for everyone.
But I think Max also thinks very hard about the game
and knows the right person to go home tonight
will affect his game going forward.
Max, before you make your decision, what kind of things
are you considering tonight about who to send back to camp?
I don't know if you know this about me, Jonathan,
but at the moment, I'm actually at war...
(GROANS AND LAUGHTER)
ALL: No, no, no.
..and I've just been handed a nuclear bomb.
Myles, what is Max's war?
(LAUGHTER)
So, Max, uh, yesterday in the middle of camp, very loudly, very publicly
in the way that Max does, declared war on me.
Yep, he was being a little snickering, lying jungle rat,
so I had to stand up for myself.
Myles, how do you feel about Max's weapon tonight?
Uh, not so good.
Obviously, you know, the way things have turned out
hasn't really turned out that great for me, but so far
I've been playing pretty much this entire game from the bottom.
So I'm kind of used to being in these kind of situations.
And what the jungle rat does is the jungle rat survives.
Not this time, Myles.
ALLY: This boy and revengance.
I think a lot more drama than common sense is going on right now, but...
Oh.
I do think a lot about the game. I love this game a lot.
So I'm not just going to come in here playing cowboy,
shooting pistol bullets around.
I am thinking about my future game, and there is an alliance brewing
that I want to move forward with,
that I see going somewhere really special,
so I'm taking that into consideration.
Karin, what do you think about that?
Oh, look, I think we've been playing a lot of schoolyard games...
..and maybe this twist will let us graduate
and play in the big leagues.
Alright, Max, so what's it gonna be? Are we going to be in the schoolyard or are we going to gradua
te?
We're going to graduate. We're going to graduate?
I was just thinking of the schoolyard.
Says the teacher. Yeah, exactly.
Alright, Max, have you decided who you're going to send back to camp?
Yes.
Alright.
Going home today...
Alright, Max, have you decided
who you're going to send back to camp?
Yes.
Alright.
Going home today...
..Laura...
..and...
..Karin.
Home time.
I did not see that coming.
OK. OK.
Alright, Laura, Karin, grab your gear. Grab your torches.
Head back to camp.
OK. MAX: Bye.
Night, guys.
Alright, time to graduate.
OK, wow.
You're right, this is a live tribal.
It's all good. Yeah.
Good night, guys.
Pow!
Zara, you seem surprised by this.
I'm completely shocked.
Um, I think that maybe Rich's influence has come into it
more than I thought it was going to.
I think Rich had an overriding plan to get the Bomb Squad together
and to try and break up the girls, which he seems to have achieved.
Logan, what is the target of the Bomb Squad?
You tell me. I'm not sure.
I'm not privy to that kind of conversation, unfortunately.
You really feel like you're left out in the dark tonight?
Yeah, a little bit now, for sure.
I thought I knew who was getting sent home.
Um, and now I'm a little confused.
Did you know that he was going to do that?
No. OK.
Did anyone, other than Max?
(MAX LAUGHS)
But, Max, you've left yourself on the field here.
That is a big play.
Yeah, I'm, uh...
I feel like I know exactly what's going to happen tonight,
and it's going to be very exciting.
And time to make a play.
Alright, it is time to vote.
Max, you're up.
(WHISPERS) Don't come for me next time, brother.
I'll go count the votes.
If anyone has an idol and you want to play it,
now would be the time to do so.
OK, I'll read the votes.
First vote.
Myles.
Ally.
That's one vote Myles.
One vote Ally.
Myles.
Ally.
We're tied.
Two votes Myles. Two votes Ally.
Myles.
Ally.
Tied again.
Three votes Myles. Three votes Ally.
One vote left.
Fifth person voted out of Brains versus Brawn...
Ally.
Need to bring me your torch.
Ally, the tribe has spoken.
They have.
Thanks. Thanks, guys.
OTHERS: Thanks.
Hooroo!
Well, we might have just met Mad Max tonight.
(LAUGHTER)
The question is, how long can he survive in the jungle?
(LAUGHTER)
Grab your torches. Head back to camp.
Good night.
NARRATOR: Sunday night...
..school's out...
I was blindsided by my own damn plan.
..but will the graduation celebration...
This could not get any better.
We can dictate how the game goes.
..be short lived?
It is time to drop your buffs.
We are switching things up.
I was absolutely blindsided by Max.
The four boys voted for me, like, it was...
It's called the Bomb Squad for a reason.
I'm definitely shocked, but I'm not surprised.
I just didn't think that the plan would be enacted as soon as it was.
