Whoa. The helicopter alliance.
This is a pretty good
thing that we got going.
Previously on Survivor...
Jelly and I are, like,
locked in.
Me, Jelly,
Brady, Devin and Mike.
That feels like a loyal bunch.
Are we voting Eric?
- Mm-hmm. - Let's do it.
Everyone-- they want to vote
Eric out, but...
I don't want Eric to leave yet.
Yep.
Oh, my freaking God.
I want Ana out.
I'd like to speak to Eric.
Oh, no. ...
Second person voted out of Survivor 51:
Ana.
The tribe has spoken.
Tribal could not have gone
any better for me.
It was a complete and 100%
bona fide, guaranteed,
bada-bing success.
Oh, we know, we know.
That vote for Ana unified us.
It showed me that not only have I put my trust
in the right people,
it showed me that when you open up
your heart, people will want to open theirs up
to you, and that's the stuff
that gets alliances strong and going.
Ah.
I-I want you guys to know, I'm not mad.
- I'm just searching for answers. - No, you're...
Yeah, you're processing. It makes sense.
Being a dumb farm kid, to be honest,
I didn't see that one coming.
Tonight was, like, a complete bombshell.
I was convinced
that the-the whole works was gonna go with Eric,
and the complete opposite thing happens.
Y'all are amazing dudes.
Well, you don't need to give us that soap opera.
You guys are in control.
You have the numbers, we're on the bottom.
So you can take this game
whatever direction you want to go.
I'm, like, not even
at the bottom of the totem pole.
I'm the base in the dirt.
I'm starting to think
I might be the worst Survivor player
in the history of forever.
But it is a good wake-up call because I'm here,
and there's still opportunity.
But I've got some homework to do because if I don't,
it'll be me next.
I mean, both Ori and Carter, I feel like
I like y'all a lot.
But my name was thrown out.
So I would really continue to love to work with you guys,
but I felt really threatened today.
At Tribal, I knew Ana was gonna go home,
but I voted for Eric. However,
Sharonda's my number one,
and she knew I was gonna vote for Eric.
Me sharing that with her just-just solidifies our trust.
You know? And that's me showing her
that the helicopter alliance is still strong.
I don't think everyone's here, right?
I've legitimately probably had four hours of sleep
the past four nights.
I don't sleep here.
And at Tribal Council, I thought to myself,
you know, Eric deserves this, you know?
And, uh, I thought everybody was voting Eric.
I felt like, if I could put my own name down,
he could play the Shot in the Dark,
or I can give him my idol.
All the Erics would have canceled out,
and it would have just been my name,
and he would have been saved.
Again, I didn't know I couldn't put my own name down.
I didn't know that, but I didn't want
to just quit.
I feel like just quitting is just ruining the game.
If you're going out for a medical reason,
that's totally different.
And, uh, I got injured yesterday morning,
like, uh, going into the ocean.
Must've stepped on something,
and I kind of, like, toughened it out.
My foot-- there's just extreme pain.
I haven't talked to the doctor yet, but if I'm injured,
I can't be doing challenges.
There's no way
to kind of rehab. There's...
It's just not worth it for me.
You've been out here the whole time?
Yeah.
Dude, we...
Can I hug you? Like, for real?
Last night, at Tribal Council,
Rob whispers in my ear,
"Eric, everyone's gonna vote you out."
And I'm like,
"Bro, get out of here."
I think might have stepped on something in the ocean.
Yeah?
And it's just, I don't know if it's infected.
It sucks, man, but, like, I don't want to keep risking...
Like, I got three kids at home.
- I can't... - I get it.
Ultimately, my name was thrown out,
and he wasn't
up-front with me. He wasn't honest.
So what am I gonna believe from him?
Nothing, bro.
- Hey, gang! - Yeah.
You want to guess what I found on the beach?
- Rob! - Yep.
He slept down there the whole time?
No, he was just laying on the beach.
My foot's been bad since, uh, day before yesterday.
I stepped on something in the ocean. I just kind of...
just going with it.
And I think I might have an infection up to my knee.
Oh, my God, Rob.
It might not be as bad as you think, Rob.
- We just need someone to look at it. - Yeah.
Rob was saying that he had
some sort of medical issue,
when there was no evidence of a medical issue
prior to him being
completely betrayed, emotionally,
at Tribal Council.
Are you in or out?
Right now, this is gonna be what the doc says.
So I guess we're gonna have to wait-wait what he says.
Well, we'll see what happens.
I'm still in this game.
Yeah, the doc's on the way.
We'll see what he says.
Hello, Savu.
- What's going on? - Oh, my God.
Do you want us to step away
- for a second? - No, well, Rob,
why don't we step out?
Rob says that
his foot is really bothering him.
My mom named me Ori, not stupid.
You've been fine for the last 48 hours,
but the day things don't go your way,
now, all of a sudden, it's a medical issue.
But my honest opinion
is Rob is looking for a easy out.
So, what's going on? Where are you
feeling the pain, and what happened?
So, we head to Tribal Council,
and, uh, we're just sitting there, and I just
feel a sharp pain just come up to my knee.
- Last night at Tribal? - Yeah.
Last night at Tribal, yeah.
But why didn't you say anything there?
I've never been through this.
- I don't know how it all goes, you know? - Right.
Why haven't you called...
'Cause you've not told medical anything about this, right?
- No, I mean, it happened the day... - Okay.
- day before yesterday. - Okay.
In the morning, I thought it would just kind of go away.
Do you want Barry to look at you now?
- Yeah, he can come look at me. - Okay.
I had no idea he was injured yesterday.
- No. - I had no idea. - And I had a long talk with him.
- So do y'all-- do you think he's hyping it up? - That's concerning.
Yeah, if he's really in trouble, he needs to go home.
It's really hard to watch Rob
make a big deal about his foot.
And I'm not saying he doesn't have something
going on with his foot.
Even if he does,
I have a broken foot,
and I'm able to stay in this game.
Are we saying that, from when the votes were read to now,
he got a terrible infection up his leg?
Rob is either just so hurt
or he is-- decided to give up on the game
and is faking some sort of injury.
I'll start up here
and work my way down, but just point to where it hurts.
Hurts over here.
Hmm.
Mm.
Right, so...
I can't find anything very, very specific.
You do have a tiny cut under here,
so just around this area, but it doesn't look as if
there's anything significant in there.
So, medically, you're not seeing anything
- that would alert you or alarm you to say, - No.
- No. - "We need to do something"?
- No. - Yeah, no, I get that.
Um, what do you think, infection-wise?
Like, do you... do you feel like it could be...
With-with cuts like that, there's always that risk.
There's always the risk of infection.
Yeah.
- Infections scare the hell out of me, you know? - Yeah.
And if this is something that could be an infection
or something, then yeah, I would take myself
out of the game. I'm not gonna put my health at risk.
Okay. All right.
What did he say? He said
it was on the bottom of his foot?
Yeah, but he thinks it's gone up to his...
- all the way to his knees. - Yeah.
I didn't hear about it at all.
- Did he tell you about it? - Mm-mmm.
Hey, Jeff.
- Hey, hey. - Welcome, brother.
All right, so, we have some news to share.
Dr. Barry looked at Rob.
There's nothing he can see
that is wrong or feel that is wrong.
So we're not pulling Rob from the game.
Just to be clear, we only pull people
if we truly believe you're in a life-threatening situation.
But that doesn't mean
players don't want to leave because they are worried.
And Rob's worried that something's going on.
Uh-huh.
Oh...
Uh... the feeling
I'm getting in my leg-- it just
doesn't seem right.
And, uh...
That was a shock, honestly.
You're quitting.
Let's call a spade a spade. Don't blame an injury.
You're having a tough time.
Things aren't going as you expect.
And instead of you finding a way to adjust,
instead of you finding a way to see it through
and conquer the situation, you're throwing in the towel.
What's the reaction to this?
You just lost a tribe member
without going to Tribal.
He was emotional. Those are real tears. I'm not
- taking that away from him, - Not at all.
but he was checked by medical.
They didn't find anything, and he wanted to leave.
I'm still confused,
- and I'm just really sad for him. - Yeah.
All right, Savu,
it is only day six...
...of a 26-day adventure.
You are down to eight.
The game continues.
Good luck.
- All right. - Thanks, Jeff.
- Thanks, Jeff... - Thank you.
- Thanks, Jeff. - Later, dude.
I counted Rob
as a number that I could use,
but now that ship has sailed.
And so my game, kind of,
back's up against the wall.
However, before Rob left,
he pulled something out of his pocket.
And he left me with this guy.
It even has the paperwork
that said, "This is an idol. Congratulations."
And so I couldn't be more tickled.
I was sitting in the mud, thinking,
"It's me going home next."
It sucks that Rob's gone, but he left me with, arguably,
the most power you can have in this game.
And so I see a whole lot of bright, sunny days ahead of me.
I think you're playing this game exactly how I would play it,
if I was in your position.
You're not moving too quickly.
- Yeah. - You're taking your time, and--
- Well, thank God we didn't have to go to the Tribal yesterday, - Yeah.
'cause I would have had to start drawing some lines, huh?
Right.
Coming into this tribe,
way later than everybody else,
I'm still at a real disadvantage.
I'm nobody's number one.
I'm nobody's number two.
I haven't made a clear line of where I stand in this tribe,
but Dev, Brady,
Jelly, Patt and Mike--
those five are, like, tight as thieves.
And I'm looking for some good allies right now.
I feel like the people who kind of opened up more to me are you.
And I feel like Brady has, also,
just shown me a very warm welcome, right?
The only thing that makes me nervous is...
she's really close with Kilby.
At this point, Jenna is still my number one target.
However,
I'm starting to smell a rat.
- Don't become Dev. - Yeah.
Don't get me wrong, I love Dev.
People don't like being forced to do stuff.
Devin poses a existential threat
to my control of this game.
I'm trying to play a game
where, no matter what, I am in the numbers.
I'm trying to build an army of people that will actually
bring me to the end of this game.
Dude...
One way that you know you're close with somebody
is when you're willing to be negative with each other.
You know?
I trust you so much 'cause you're willing to tell me that.
'Cause that's risky.
I feel good with Brady.
Yeah.
I 100% trust him.
- Uh... - He reminds me of, like, playing a video game
- with your little brother, but the controller's unplugged. - Yeah.
You know what I mean? Like...
If you tell someone,
like, "I just straight-up
don't like this person,"
that's risky in Survivor.
He said playing with Brady
is like playing Nintendo with your five-year-old nephew,
- but his controller isn't plugged in. - He said that?
Wait, what?
Kilby said that to me about Brady.
- Sorry. - So am I just an idiot in this game?
- I said-- No, you're not. - Hey. Absolutely not.
'Cause I'm just so confused.
I think Kilby meant that I'm a pawn in his game.
He wants me to work for him.
I don't work for nobody, brody.
I dictate plans.
We remember how the first vote went.
What is happening around camp?
What I'm seeing a pattern in Kilby is he's
building distrust with people.
And it's dangerous when you have a tribe
who should be
unified. Now, I don't think
he's going around
having big conversations, scheming,
but he is
a farmer who is just sowing seeds of chaos.
Tree mail, tree mail!
We got tree mail!
- I'm like, "Wait a minute." - Mailman's here.
The mailman's here.
Okay.
"It's time to mingle."
"Choose one person to visit the opposing tribe."
Whoa!
"Choose one person to visit
the opposing tribe."
Oh, my God.
This is exciting for me.
I want to get to know everyone else.
The friendly vampire needs some new friends, you know?
Come to me, children.
Come to me, Toka.
Be my pals.
Wait, does anybody not want to go?
All right, everyone got your Shot?
- Mother... - Carter!
We're not doing best two out of three, all right?
Oh, no, that was...
Good job, Carter.
Of course, Carter's name was drawn.
He's the one person who we don't want to go over there,
because we don't want him building connections
with other people,
spilling all of our tea
to the other tribe.
And so while
our targets might be pointed at him right now,
he might be able to escape before we can get him.
I'll go.
Devin just raises his hand
and says, "I'll go."
And we're like, "Thank God somebody's gonna go."
Toka! Toka! Toka!
But I have my hesitations about Devin going,
just 'cause he's such
an honest player. I'm like,
"What are you going to say over there?"
And, also, I'm not as close to Devin as other people.
So I'm like, whatever he gets over there, I don't know
if he'll share back to the same degree.
"There's an advantage hidden inside a paddle
at the Toka fishing boat."
"There is an advantage hidden in the ladle
at the Savu water well."
"If you're clever,"
which I'm not,
"you can retrieve it before your boat returns to camp."
Oh, my gosh.
This is like music to my ears.
There's an advantage in one of the oars at Toka.
This could be
the best gift of all time.
"There's another layer to this twist.
"If while visiting,
"you feel this tribe would be a better fit for you,
you may mutiny and join them as a new member."
Oh, my gosh.
"You may join the team as a new member."
"If so,
simply let the boat depart without you."
Holy cow.
Right now,
I feel like I'm in a good spot on Toka.
But, honestly, if Savu is heaven on Earth,
I might be staying.
Yo.
However,
it is not sunshine and rainbows.
It is rainy, soggy and sad.
I was like, "Oh, Lord,
we are in the ghetto."
Like, what?
I'll tell you all about our first Tribal.
There's a girl on our tribe named Jenna,
who, specifically, is kind of sketchy.
So I was kind of leading a Jenna vote,
and everybody voted for...
Aaliyah,
except for me and Jelly.
I'm also gonna tell y'all something else.
They gave me--
and I'm assuming Carter--
the opportunity to stay at the tribe...
Oh!
...that... Yeah.
So... Huh?
I'm not sleeping in this.
You know?
It's not y'all.
Oh, my gosh.
That means Carter can stay at Toka.
Worst possible scenario,
because if we were to lose again,
the easy vote was Carter.
And so we should have never let him go.
That was a mistake.
How do you feel about doing some, um,
one-on-ones here?
- You want to go? - Let's do it.
Okay, perfect.
I knew that I had to get Dev alone,
because I wanted to know where we stood
when it comes to the helicopter alliance.
I'm so happy you fit in here.
Everyone thinks that Brady is my number one.
Okay.
Like, hands down.
Like, um...
but, like, no one knows anything different.
Also, there's an advantage hidden in this.
Holy freaking cow.
Immediately, he tells me
there's an advantage here somewhere,
and we have to get it.
I don't know how to get in there, though.
But it's in the water well?
It said in the ladle.
I mean, we can check the lid, too.
- I'm going. - Go in.
- No, it's not. - No?
That's not it.
How slick do you have to be to get that out?
Thank God for Sharonda.
If I tried to do this by myself...
Keep going.
- Is that something right there? - Yeah.
...utter destruction, game's blown up.
So, we're literally
unwinding the ladle
and twisting and twisting and twisting.
- Ah, no, that's not it. - Mm-hmm.
Oh, yes, it is. Here. Here.
And all of a sudden...
"Congratulations.
You have earned a secret extra vote."
Thank you, thank you.
- We're gonna stick together. - Yeah.
- We're... - We're-we're, like, so locked in.
Having two votes
gives me a certain amount of security that,
in a game of permanent uncertainty,
you definitely need.
The question that I'm asking myself is
will Carter be able to find the advantage
on the Toka beach?
We're not that far into this game,
and I've got an idol from Rob, and I have an opportunity
to get another advantage and join a whole new tribe.
The cake is made with the frosting on it,
and so when I'm riding over on the boat,
I'm not even thinking about the advantage in the oars.
That part
should be a slam dunk.
I mean, it's on the sheet of paper, "Here's where it is."
My focus is to get to the camp,
talk to these people,
and maybe see some cracks in this tribe,
to weasel my way in,
or go back to Savu.
And on my way out, find the advantage in the oar.
Yo, yo,
- yo. - Oh!
Carter!
This looks a whole lot better than ours.
- Yeah, come on in. - We'll make some room for you.
Come on in.
How are you doing?
I've got some news.
Sharonda and Linnea are running the show.
And last night at Tribal,
all were lined up.
Like, Eric, Eric, Eric, yep.
We're on the same page.
- Then what? - Uh-huh.
- Ana, Ana, Ana, Ana. - No way.
- What? - I voted Eric.
So then we get back to camp, and I'm like,
"Well, I'm on the bottom of this deal."
So anyway, that's kind of the rundown.
- That is the craziest thing. - That's the SparkNotes.
- Yeah. - So those...
those two are the heads of an alliance of six?
- Basically. - Wow.
It's hard not to like Carter
in his, you know, incredibly charming
Midwest drawl.
- I had no idea. - Do you want to put your bag under the thing?
No, it... it does better in the rain.
You always have to be careful of that.
We've seen what J.T. has done on Survivor.
And-and Carter's got a little bit of that in him, for sure.
Anything else going on over there that I should know about?
Not really.
This game-- it just takes so many turns.
- Yeah. - It's like the elephant in the room: who do you trust?
Yeah.
While Carter is doing some cheeky one-on-one,
I'm wondering,
does he have anything?
Is this just a visit, or is there more?
And then
I look over at that purple sack right in front of us.
I'm like, "He wouldn't be that stupid to leave
something valuable in our claws, right?"
- Quickly, quickly. - Go, go, go, go, go, go.
Oh, my...
He leaves an envelope on the top of his bag.
I'm like...
"This fella's not playing Survivor."
What?!
Oh, my God. Oh, my God...
The note said that the advantage was
by one of the oars in the boat.
So Brady decides
this is a perfect opportunity to get the axe
and smash 'em open.
I break the first oar, nothing in it.
And, uh, everyone kind of settles down.
They're all worried about "Where's Carter?
Where's Carter?"
It was probably the easiest thing to just take.
So the other oar's laying out there.
And I run down there,
and I see Maggie.
And it turns out she's thinking the same thing.
You want me to split it? It'll take a long time.
Yeah, but I want it.
Sure.
Can I just split it?
Are we working together?
If we're not, you could screw me.
Come on.
Do it this way-- The handle. Maybe it's back around there.
It's right here. I see it.
- Wait. - Where? Grab it.
Right there.
Maybe try around there.
- Oh, that's how we get this. - Yeah.
Oh, oh, oh, oh...
When I saw the advantage,
my heart just sunk, honestly,
because I want that.
No, you're fine. No, it's together.
We're us. I will not let you get out.
This is me and you, okay?
Promise? Promise.
And I
should have kept my mouth shut and went down there later
or taken it into the woods and done it myself.
"You have a secret extra vote.
"Information is power.
"Be mindful of who you tell.
- The last time this vote" - Can I have it?
"can be used
is when there are six people left in the game."
'Cause you got more people than me.
"The extra vote extends through a tie and revote."
- Well, then, hey, this... - You got more people than me.
- You vote the way I do, then. - I vote the way you do.
- Promise? - I promise.
But then I just asked him for it,
and Brady gave me the advantage.
I saw an opportunity, and I was like, "Go for it,"
because this is Survivor.
And it's so much better to have the advantage
in my pocket than in anyone else's pocket.
I want all of them on me.
I have all these extra pockets.
Let's fill 'em up.
-DEVIN: Whoa. - Yeah, right?
This is spiritual.
Can I just-- I'm so excited to see you.
My whole thing is weaponized honesty.
So I went over there and I made sure
that every single person knew
the legend of Kilby.
So I wanted to warn y'all, in case there is a,
like, a tribe swap, so that y'all can, literally, like,
use your own discernment.
Kilby-- he lies.
And I think he's a bit of a chaos player.
I smeared that bully's name
across their camp like he was paint
and that their camp was a roof.
If you tell him something, he's going to spin it,
and he's gonna do it like a little ...
Oh.
But he's so smart.
"He a liar.
He a liar." 'Cause that's what he does.
He spreads a little bit of information.
- Something is afoot here. - Mm-hmm.
And, like, it's just...
- Danger to him. - It's just danger.
"He does this, he does that."
And they were like...
Let's say I go home.
I don't want y'all to be in a game with a person
who, like, I had bad flags about,
- and I didn't say something. Like... - No, I-I get that.
So I'm going through, one by one by one by one,
and I finally get to Ori.
I really want to warn you,
dangerous.
Ori is a member of our helicopter alliance.
And so this is the moment where I get to solidify
trust and confidence by revealing the truth.
Um, Sharonda and I, like, walked over,
there was a... there was a hidden advantage at the well.
Like, at the water well here.
I can, like, show you my...
Yeah, no, we got it. We got it.
Devin sharing that he has an advantage means a lot to me.
Trust is such
a finite thing and something that
you can't hang your hat on to survive, but...
It shows that he's still thinking of me six days later,
even though he's built other relationships on his tribe.
And it's good to know that an ally is the one
in possession of that advantage.
Like... Oh, the bell.
It was really nice meeting all of you,
and I really appreciate y'all talking to me.
- Bye. - We'll come send you off.
I'm gonna run 'cause I don't want to miss the boat.
I'm coming!
That could not have gone better.
I got the advantage.
I strengthened my relationships.
I have done everything I need to do.
- Bye! - Bye, Dev!
Bye!
My game is relationships.
That's my superpower.
But now, guess what?
No matter how a tribe swap goes,
I have potential numbers here.
Mission complete, baby.
Good stuff.
I appreciate it. - I love it.
- Good talking to you. - 100%.
I'll bring you back, 'cause I know you got a lot of people
to get through. Next.
What I'm looking for
in the Toka tribe, point-blank, is-is cracks.
And so I'm trying to read these people,
like, do I have a better shot here
or do I have a better shot back at Savu?
What's kind of the vibe here?
Is it... It's not all roses and flowers, or...
No. It's crazy.
But it's nice 'cause it's all opportunity.
Oh.
There's...
Really?
- Yeah. - What did it say?
- Like... - Yeah.
Carter has the opportunity
to stay in our tribe, and I love that,
because Carter's a farm boy from northern Iowa.
Those are the brodies I grew up with.
Those are the brodies that I-I went to war with
in pads, you know?
Those are the brodies I like to have a beer with at the bar.
Like, he's my type of brody.
That's someone that I want to work with as long as possible.
- So, dude, give me the rundown on this tribe. - Yeah.
We don't really know.
There's kind of a flip-flop back and forth.
What did you come here with?
Nothing.
That sucks.
I-- And I'm shooting you straight.
I didn't get anything.
No opportunity for anything else, no nothing?
We'll see.
Th-This is the first part of it,
so I don't know what the second part is.
- So there's a second part? - Yeah.
- There's parts to this. - Yeah.
- To where there's more opportunity. - Yeah.
What's the opportunity that you think it could be?
It said, if you find the right people here,
you get to stay here.
So this is kind of like a Hail Mary scenario.
- It didn't say nothing else? - Nothing else.
It said you're coming over here to visit,
and we're giving you the opportunity to switch tribes.
- I could maybe make do... - Looking at your hands, brody,
I don't think you should go back.
I know Carter is lying to me.
But I don't blame him one bit.
If I was him, I'd be doing the same thing.
That's a dude I know will keep his mouth shut
and roll with the team.
But he's got to stick to Team Brody.
Dude, it's ride or die.
I can skin a buck and run a trotline, all right?
- This'll be ride or die. - All right.
Brady said, "If you're staying here, I got your back."
So I'm like, "Perfect, there's a crack," you know?
But I don't know these people as well as, like,
I know the other tribe.
So I need to maybe take this with a grain of salt
and think about what's best for me moving forward.
Yeah.
How's it going?
- I'm so sorry you've had such a rough go. - Was your, uh...
Oh, yeah, crap.
I got to run out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
In the middle of Jenna talking, I hear a bell ringing.
And that means the boat's gonna leave.
And I still have to find the advantage in the oar.
Hey, it was good seeing you guys.
When I got to the boat, there's no oars in the boat.
And so, wheels are spinning.
Maybe they're a messy tribe. Maybe they're under the boat.
Maybe they're hanging on trees.
So I'm looking all over, and I can't find these oars.
So in my head, I'm thinking,
"You had all this time.
"You had an advantage teed up for you,
"sitting right there, and you walked past it when you came in,
and now it's gone."
God.
That's, like, rookie 101.
And then out the corner of my eye, I see the boat leaving.
And it was, like, "You got to be kidding me."
And so, I better have made good connections
with these people because
at this point, I'm a Toka tribe member,
and that's where I get my mail now.
The boat guy said I'm staying.
What?!
Oh!
Come on in!
Morning, Jeff.
What is going on, Toka?
Toka, getting your first look
at the new Savu tribe.
Ana voted out at Tribal Council.
Rob decided to go home.
And that's what they look like without Carter,
who mutinied and went to your tribe.
All right, so first, let's just take a look
at what has happened since the last time you all were together.
What a disparity.
Eleven tribe members on Toka, one of whom needs a new Buff.
- Carter. - Hey, yo!
- I'm not clapping. - This will
smell a whole lot better, I promise you that.
You can drop it.
- Nice. - Yeah, leave it in the dirt.
Dirt. Wow.
All right, Kristin, let's just talk
about the elephant in the room.
A lot has happened to Savu.
What's the feeling you're having?
Well, Jeff, feels like we had our own DIY Blood Moon.
- Three players. - So you can take that off
the, uh... the table for this year.
- Check. - We already did it.
Took care of it for you. Done, done, done.
Ori, what does it feel like just
from a morale standpoint to look at Savu being down
to seven, and Toka's grown to 11?
We're the underdogs right now.
They have some big people, strong people,
athletic people over there, but at the same time, though,
Savu-- we're small, but we're mighty right now.
We've fought bigger battles than this, so let's do it.
All right, shall we get
to our first immunity challenge with this tribe division?
First things first. Thien An, got to take it back.
I'm not walking to you, but I won't fight.
Once again, immunity is back up for grabs.
For today's challenge, you're gonna crawl
through a massive pile of wood shavings,
collecting keys.
Two players will then use those keys
to unlock very heavy chains wrapped around a crate.
You'll retrieve a ladder from inside.
Use the ladder to climb to the top of a platform,
where you will use two hooks
to hoist up a very heavy bag of coconuts.
Slide that bag down the other side, get the key inside.
You must then work together to get everybody to the top
of a very steep platform,
where two players will use that last key
to unlock and solve an anchor puzzle.
First tribe to finish
wins immunity, safe from the vote.
In addition, you're playing for reward.
Want to know what you're playing for?
If it's food, I'm actually gonna cry.
Oh, yes!
- Four egg-laying hens. - Ah.
For the losers, Tribal Council,
where somebody will be the fourth person
voted out of Survivor 51.
All right, sit-outs. Toka,
you have four extra players.
Means you're gonna sit out four players.
You cannot sit out the same players
in back-to-back challenges.
So, make your decision.
- I think these two can do the puzzle. - Okay,
- I'm down. I'm down. - You sit out this one.
- Yeah. All right, who are gonna be
the sit-outs for Toka?
Maggie, Kilby, Jelly and Mike.
All right, sit-outs take a spot on the bench.
Everybody else, give you a minute to strategize.
We'll get it on. Here we go.
All right, for immunity and reward, Survivors ready.
Go! Three out of the gate
for this first series
- of bags. - Go, Toka!
You got to untie the bag and then
go through the wood shavings.
Yeah! Yeah!
We got Eric and Carter mixing it up.
Get the bag, Carter! Focus on the bag!
Brady getting through,
Devin getting through.
Brady working through quickly. Ori through quickly.
You got to find the hole.
You got to get all three here
- before you can move on. - Carter, where you at, brother?
- Yeah, Carter. - Here comes Carter.
You're good, Toka.
Savu still trying to get through. Eric got taken out.
You're good, Savu.
It is Toka in the early lead. Things getting a little physical
on day seven, Survivor 51.
We got a battle between Alexis and Patt.
That's what you want. You want a rivalry.
- Ow! - Alexis now
- getting into it with Jenna. - Hey!
Here comes Kristin for Savu.
Here comes Linnea.
Got to get everybody to the mat.
Don't be afraid to get physical.
You're good. You're good.
Once you find the key, you're good.
We have it, we have it. Go, go, go, run.
Mine, mine, mine.
All right, go.
It is Patt and Carter for Toka.
It's Sharonda and Alexis for Savu.
Yeah. Pull, pull, pull, pull,
- pull, pull, pull. - Got to get all the chains off.
Carter ripping through that,
making it look easy
- on day seven. - Right here, right here, Savu, Savu.
Keep digging.
You're good. Lift it up.
You've got to empty everything out
so you can get this ladder out.
You got it, Alexis,
- come on! - Savu starting
to tucker out now.
- Got it? Let's go. - Go, go, go, guys.
Let's go.
Let's go, Toka!
Toka opening up that lead now.
Way to work!
You've got
to free up your bag
so the players with the grappling hook
can hook that bag and lift it up.
Grab the ladder.
There you go, Savu.
Let's go!
No, no, no! Ugh, no.
- Hold Patt with the hook. - Jenna, help Patt.
- I'll get the coconut. - No. Get his hook under it.
We're still in it, we're still in it. Come on.
Savu now trying to stay in this challenge.
Send four people up.
- I got-- That's right here, it's right here. - Patt,
- hook my thing. - You get his hook, I get the thing.
Give it tension. Give it tension.
Go, go, go!
Go! Pull!
Savu has their bag.
We got it, we got it. Pull, pull.
Toka has their bag.
We are now neck and neck.
Once that bag is up, everybody can go down.
Ori, you got to take it down. You got to take it down.
Toka coming down with their bag.
Here comes Savu. We are back neck and neck right now.
Go, go, go, go!
You got to get everybody to the mat with your bag.
Go, go, go.
You're good. Drag it. You're looking
- for a bag with a key. - Right there. - There it is!
- Go! - All right, you're good. You can move on
- to the next stage. - Good job, y'all! Keep it up.
Very steep ramp.
You got to get everybody up.
We got to get it.
Go. Go, go.
This is gonna take a lot of cooperation.
Oh. Oh.
Ori gave it a shot,
but could not get to the top on his own.
- Hands, hands. Go again. - Go. Go.
I'm going. I'm going.
- Oh, yes! - Patt is up
- for Toka. She's got the rope. - Great job, guys!
That's gonna help a lot.
Toka is making this look really easy.
This is textbook human ladder.
You guys are killing it!
Great job, everybody! Love it!
- He has Alexis. - I'm getting on your shoulder?
Savu working on their human ladder.
Alexis. Can she get to the top?
She's a little short.
Someone else has to come up.
Oh, here, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady,
here. No, no, no.
- Patt. - Wait, wait, wait, wait.
We got it. We got it. Come on.
Toka has everybody up top.
- Two people on the puzzle. - Whoo!
Gonna be Jenna and Thien An on the puzzle for Toka.
They've got a good early lead.
I'm falling, I'm falling, I'm falling!
This is a disaster for Savu.
- You got it, Thien An, good job. - No, we need something
that's a blue circle.
- Come on, Linnea! - You got this!
I got you. Go.
Linnea gets to the top.
- There's one. - Get the rope. Get the rope.
Throw that rope down.
Okay, next group.
- That should help Savu. - Go!
Alexis is now up.
- Toka had a very big lead, - No.
but squandering it.
They don't even have one piece yet.
Eric's up top.
I did it, Gina! Yeah!
Cristian's got the rope.
Can he pull himself up?
Yes. One player left.
I got it, got it, got it. No problem, no problem with this.
Ori's feeling confident. Let's go!
I got it, got it, got it.
That's how you do it, Ori.
Ori's up top and Savu's back in it.
Let's go, puzzle makers for Savu.
Toka has made no progress
on their puzzle.
Just find a piece, brodies.
It would be a massive comeback for Savu.
- No, it doesn't fit, y'all. - Right. Twist it.
- Yes, yes. - There we go. There we go.
It is Savu in the lead.
What a turnaround!
- Hell, yeah. - Toka was
in the lead till we got to the puzzle,
but that lead is evaporating.
That's it, that's it, that's it!
Jenna with the first piece.
And another piece
- for Savu. - Yes, that's it.
Oh. Yeah!
- We need a little curvy piece. - Savu lost a lot
of time getting up that ramp.
They have made up all of that time,
and Savu now starting to pull away.
Yeah!
And now it is Toka trying to catch back up.
Immunity and four
egg-laying hens on the line.
Who wants chicken? Let's go!
Me.
I think we need to focus.
- Okay. - I know what's on the bottom.
Savu continues to pull away.
Jenna and Thien An are now starting to feel the pressure.
You get up here and put yourself on the puzzle with a lead,
you better close it out.
We're doing amazing. We got it.
Here we go.
Another piece for Savu.
- This is on the other side. - Toka trying to close that gap.
Yes, Thien An.
This one goes here. Got that one? We got it.
Come on. We got it.
Savu down to six pieces.
Toka at about ten.
Ori called Savu the underdog tribe.
- Small but mighty. - And the story
of this challenge is Toka blowing
what seemed to be an insurmountable lead.
And here we go.
- Jeff, we got it, we got it! - Is that it?
It is.
Savu wins immunity and reward,
- Savu! Savu! - sending Toka
to Tribal Council, where somebody will be
the fourth person voted out
of Survivor 51.
- It's all right. - It's all good.
We're good.
- Small but mighty. - Let's go.
Savu, congratulations.
- Yeah! - Who wants it?
- Hey, Posey. - Posey.
- Posey. - Welcome back.
All right, Savu,
four egg-laying hens will be waiting for you back at camp.
No Tribal Council tonight.
Grab your stuff, head out.
Good game.
Sorry, Carter.
Could've been you.
All right, Toka, Tribal Council tonight.
One of the 11 of you will not live
to see day eight. Grab your stuff,
head out, see you tonight at Tribal.
Jeff.
We lost the immunity challenge, but
I'm in a good position in this tribe.
So my plan is
to get everybody on board
with Kilby.
We're gonna blindside the boy tonight.
The Survivor puzzle: one of the most
anxiety-inducing elements of the show.
But when you pull it off, it's exhilarating.
Does that kind of pressure sound fun?
Apply to be on Survivor.
I do just want to say thank you guys
for everyone doing their part,
and I'm really, really sorry that I couldn't do mine.
I obviously feel horrible.
- And these frigging... - It's a hard puzzle.
These frigging puzzles are gonna haunt me forever.
You nutted up and you-and you put yourself on the line.
- Yeah. - And, like, there's nothing tougher than that.
There's nothing more competitive than that.
Like, those 3-D puzzles are, like, tough.
Just want to say, I-I really did want to compete.
I wasn't wanting to sit out, but I...
Yeah.
The immunity challenge was very frustrating.
In our sit-out conversations, Dev looks at me and goes,
"You're sitting out."
Buddy, I'm a puzzle god.
I would have won that puzzle, but
Dev just, as he always does, completely steamrolls it.
Buddy, I feel like,
today, in that strategy sit-out thing,
I was like, "I really think I should be on the puzzle."
And then you're like, "Stop. You're sitting out."
Oh, see, that-that's not my experience at all.
What I saw happen was
Jeff said,
"Whoever sits out today, you need for tomorrow."
- Like, has to be safe tomorrow. - Okay.
And I was like, "Okay, I know
that we will have a massive lead in this thing."
- Okay. - "Kilby-- we need him for tomorrow."
I get it. Like, I just, like...
- We have the same friends in this game. - Mm-hmm.
I like you a... a lot.
- Mm-hmm. - Like, I like you a lot, man.
But sometimes it feels like you don't like me.
I talk to people, and they're like,
"Devin calls you a liar, Devin calls you sneaky."
I've never said, "He's a liar, he's sneaky." I just...
Some of the things, like, you say
feel like you're planting seeds of doubt and chaos.
There's what you tell me,
and then, there's, like, how you show up to others,
and they're just not in line.
No one is making it
harder to exist in this camp more than Kilby is,
simply because he is the only one
spreading lies,
planting seeds of doubt.
Who told you I was-I was going around saying you were a liar?
I don't want to lie to you by accident.
Give me a second. It's been multiple people, man.
Well, can you name them for me?
I think Patt did it. I think...
Yeah, def-definitely Patt.
I think, like...
- I actually think Jelly said it. - Mm-hmm.
Maybe even Brady?
Patt, Jelly,
Brady.
My three people are telling you
that I'm saying that you're a liar?
There's literally no way, boy.
You can't look me in my face
while asking for unity
and be lying to me about it.
Look.
Oh, yeah, yeah. What I'm smellin' is stinky.
It's stinky.
Kilby told me
that you told him that I was calling him a liar,
and, like...
- This... - Like...
- Devin... - Mm-hmm.
I'm about to lose my mind.
I'm done with him.
This needs to be, like, a frigging kill shot.
Like, kill shot-- we only...
- we only get the one. - I agree.
I am starting to get really uneasy about Kilby.
He is playing this game
in the most aggressive way I've ever seen.
He's lying to people,
causing all sorts of chaos, he's
breaking up our tribe when we should be finding times
to, like, come together.
How do we make this a kill shot?
What do you mean, "How do we make this a kill shot?"
- All we need is six votes, correct? - Yeah.
I really think we have it.
The only people I'm worried about is Carter and Lewis.
A hundred percent, this is a numbers game
going into Tribal Council.
We're thinking, "How can we get the numbers
so that we can get Kilby out?"
Even though we think that Carter
is with us, we think that Lewis is with us.
They are wild cards.
So here's what I think.
- You and I... - Where's your head at?
Mm-hmm.
I sense Carter's the fella you kind of take it easy with
when it comes to strategy talk,
but we need to be aligned because
we haven't drawn our lines in the sand.
We haven't voted with Toka yet.
Where do you sit?
So, I see, like, these are the alliances, right?
So, it's Patt, Mike,
Dev, Jelly and Brady.
- Mm-hmm. - So it's five, right?
- Mm. - And then on the other side,
it's Thien An, Kilby,
- Jenna and Mags. - Mm-hmm.
- So it's five, four, right? - Mm-hmm.
You and I...
- Kind of the swinger. - Are kind of the swingers.
I've been to Tribal Council one time, and
it went, uh, horribly south.
And so, I'm coming into the night
a little bit nervous, you know?
But it feels like
we might be in the driver's seat for tonight's vote.
Right.
Tonight's vote's very important.
And I think this early in the game,
I don't need a huge target on me for no reason.
And so, I think there's a lot to be said with
not stirring the pot too much tonight.
I'm gonna be honest with you. Like, I do,
potentially, really want to work with Dev. Like...
- Yeah. - I'm not saying this vote,
because he's very emotional, right?
And I think, like, this is so much so soon.
I have no interest in going after him.
No. Oh, no, no. Zero, zero.
Everybody is so worried about
Dev, Jelly, Brady, Patt, Mike.
That is the five.
They hang out together.
They love Dev. They laugh at his jokes.
It's basically, like, Dev's cult.
That's how people see it.
I'm personally not so sure it's that simple.
Brady's with us.
I don't think so.
Devin's his number one.
I think Brady is Dev's number one.
But I think I am Brady's number one.
- Ah. - Straight-up, that's...
I think that's smoke and mirrors.
I think I got Brady, but I don't trust Patt,
I don't trust Mike. So, I'm okay with them
getting some attention, as long as, like, just...
We got to go after five, just not the people I like.
With Jelly and Dev, Patt and Brady,
- they're off the table for me. - Me too.
- I'm not willing to vote for them, - Me too.
like, at this moment, because I do really see,
- like, in the future... - That leaves Mike.
Leaves Mike.
I think that's our best move.
My initial thought is, "Mike's got to go."
In that five, he's just kind of there.
He's a plus-one.
If you ever go to a wedding and someone has a plus-one,
no one... no one cares about the plus-one that much.
You know what I mean? If they show up, if they don't,
don't matter too much.
As long as we can make it seem easy
and just, like, a tribe thing, that's fine.
So what do you want to do?
Real talk.
I'm okay with Jenna or Mike.
Want to get the numbers,
or do you want to just hit Jenna?
Why not Patt?
I just think Patt's harder to do.
Kilby has absolutely zero idea that I'm upset with him.
What's going on right now is
secret, secret, secrets on one side,
and secret, secret, secrets on the other.
And guess what, brody?
I'm on both sides.
And I'm picking. So once again,
in charge of the vote
is your big brody, Brady.
I'm down.
- Yeah? - This is it. - This is it.
- We're not gonna change. - Let's do it. - All right, yup.
- Not gonna change. - As dumb as he thinks
I am-- that five-year-old
who's out there, controller plugged in--
looks like I got to take him to school, brody.
You know, I-I love proving people wrong,
and usually, I do it with these, I prove 'em wrong.
And now I get to do it with this.
It feels good, you know?
And-and what are we gonna say to him?
When he's talking about voting Dev
or voting Mike or voting Patt, we're just saying yes.
Okay.
He doesn't want
to make a big mess and try
to, you know, be the superheroes.
- You know what I mean? - Yes.
I'm sure he's on board with Kilbs.
Tonight, I could play it safe, roll with the five.
Since I stepped on this beach, they've held the power.
I've been observing them all.
But I don't watch Survivor
to watch the five take control of the whole game.
Everyone's here to play.
This is four?
Two more-- Mags, Jenna-- solid.
On who?
Who do you feel right now?
Mike will not make any connection on that other tribe.
Nobody wants to work with Mike. Versus Patt.
She can easily weasel her way through, because
she's gonna go give her puppy- dog eyes to the other tribe.
Getting any one of the five would be monumental.
Mike gives me nothing.
Every time I talk to him, he's just like,
"So, Thien An, tell me more about your game.
Where's your head out?" And I'm like,
"Mike, I can't give you anything
"if you're not gonna give me anything back.
That's, like, trying to work with a sponge."
But you know what?
That's a very easy target down the line.
And so, why not go for Patt?
She's charming, she's sweet.
She can easily integrate into other groups.
To me, that's a liability.
So, you guys want to do Patt?
I'm down for that.
Okay.
And so, Patt over-over Mike,
over Dev?
- Yeah. - Okay, well, then I agree.
- We frigging have the numbers. - But Patt's name
does not leave this conversation.
I agree with you. It does not leave this conversation, period.
- Pinky swear? - This game's not that tough.
This is a slam dunk.
Okay, real spiel?
I think it's going Patt.
What?
I think it's going Patt.
- The vote? - Yes.
I've heard murmurs.
From who?
Yeah.
I thought you were in charge here, brother.
Dude, I'm not... I'm not in charge.
- But you know what I'm saying. - I'm not in charge. Like...
- But you know what I'm saying. - Yeah.
No, I'm, like...
There is no way in God's green Earth
that this plan is gonna work.
No disrespect, Thien An.
You have absolutely zero pull to make any call in this game.
Because what's going on right now is
I have the larger group that's gonna vote for Kilby.
That's what I'm saying.
I figured you'd get voted out first,
- and then me when I came. - Now here we are.
I came in here not knowing
if I was gonna be bottom of the barrel. But
Carter has been the biggest blessing.
Sorry for going through your bag, bro. But
he's been such a blessing in disguise,
because me and him are gonna take
this game into our own hands.
You'd need balls as big as church bells.
Do you have big balls, bro?
We're in control.
We are the swing vote tonight.
We need to decide what's best for our game.
Working with the power group could be good,
'cause coming in as a brand-new guy,
you don't put a target on your back.
You're not calling the shots, they are.
On the other hand, working with the misfits in this tribe,
there's one word,
and it's "opportunity," because
we're not just a number in the bottom half of that group.
But whatever we decide when we get back to camp,
we're gonna have some explaining to do.
Lewis, there is one unlit torch for you.
Grab it, dip it in the center fire
and get flame.
This is part of the ritual at Tribal Council,
because in this game, fire represents your life,
and when your fire's gone, so are you.
All right. Brady, let's just jump right in.
You get back to camp, and
- what happens? - Everyone was
pretty brokenhearted after that loss today.
You know, we were real motivated, but, um,
we lost, and you can't sugarcoat it.
So, after we kind of licked our wounds,
uh, we had to play the game.
And for a while there, we thought,
"Is this gonna be the easy vote?"
And it felt that way for a few hours.
And then about an hour before Tribal,
I would say, uh, things started to get a little haywire,
- you know? - Lewis, it's your first Tribal.
- How you feeling? - Do you know what?
I think we all need a bit of the luck of the Irish.
- Hey. - It is very overwhelming.
There's so many relationships operating
on a tribe of 11 people.
You don't really know who's interconnected with who.
It's like you just have to hope
that what you said doesn't
trail down the line
- and somehow screw you over. - Mm-hmm.
Carter, you could make the case
you just need six, but
finding six in a group of 11
is not as easy as it sounds
in a game like Survivor.
I think it's funny when you say "finding six,"
because back when I was at Savu,
everyone hung out under the shelter,
and if you wanted to talk to someone you'd say,
"Hey, let's go get a drink and talk."
Finding six people, I'm gonna need a new pair of tennis shoes.
I mean, they're all over.
It's like herding cats. And so that's what I'm trying
to, uh, just figure out the bones of this tribe
to get a grasp of what's going on.
Jenna, do you feel like there are factions?
Like, if you had to say, "Okay, these two,
these three, these five,"
or does it really feel like you have no idea who's with who?
I think "factions" is a perfect way
to put it. I think there's little groups
where we're like, "Okay, these people are together,"
but the lines were super blurry after last Tribal,
and that makes it confusing.
Who's next? You know, what are the bigger
groups within those factions?
That's what we're gonna find out tonight.
Devin, do you agree with that?
DEVIN; I agree. Like,
our tribe has very blurry lines.
You know, last Tribal, I was on the out of the vote.
If I end up on the bottom of the vote this time, too,
maybe I have to play my game different.
And I'm sure everyone right now is just kind of
holding their breath, and I just want
to lead a group inhale, you know? If you will.
Jelly, it's also
a perfect time for a big move.
Oh, 100%. And I think
that's what's going through all of our minds
when everyone is going do-si-do-ing.
What is the big move in this tribe
is a big question mark.
And is it good for my game?
Carter, you're nodding your head.
Yeah, I think she's 100% right.
This tribe, I think, needs some sort of lines
or some sort of structure,
so every Tribal isn't just, you know, loosey-goosey,
because no one ever knows. And so,
some of the more fun seasons, I think, are the ones where
people have a plan, they go out, execute it, and move on.
Kilby, how are you feeling as we get ready to vote?
Uh, Jeff, I feel like I'm gonna throw up.
It feels so weird, but
at the end of the day, it's a game about people.
You got to put your trust in somebody,
and if I'm giving you my word,
that's something I'm... I-I got to stick to.
But you don't want to be the dummy that doesn't panic
when they're in trouble.
Patt, Kilby just said
the key word of any Tribal Council:
"trust."
And I agree. Honestly, like,
I'm hoping that, like, people can
build trust with each other by actually saying something true.
And like Kilby said, trying to move forward
with people that you trust.
Like, I'm hoping that tonight, like,
could bring more people together than, like, rip people apart.
And Jeff, you know, my grandma always says,
"A castle built in the sand cannot stand."
And we clearly have been building in sand over here.
And so, I'm just ready
to get a firm foundation underneath us.
I think we're all just looking for clarity.
All right,
it is time to vote. Jenna, you're up.
To the king of chaos.
We're hoping this is a kill shot.
I'll go tally the votes.
If anybody has an advantage or an idol
and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.
All right, I'll read the votes.
First vote: Kilby.
Patt. One vote Kilby, one vote Patt.
Kilby. That's two votes Kilby.
Patt. We're tied. Two votes Kilby, two votes Patt.
Kilby. That's three votes Kilby, two votes Patt.
Patt. We're tied again.
Three votes Kilby, three votes Patt.
Kilby. That's four votes Kilby.
Patt. We're tied again.
Four votes Kilby, four votes Patt.
Kilby. That's five votes Kilby,
four votes Patt.
Patt. We're tied again.
Five votes Kilby,
five votes Patt,
one vote left.
Fourth person
voted out of Survivor 51:
Patt.
Need to me bring your torch.
Bye, guys.
- Bye, Patt. We love you. - Patt, we love you.
See you, Patt.
Patt, the tribe has spoken.
Time for you to go.
- You're amazing, Patt. - You're a star.
Grab your torches, head back to camp.
Good night.

"A boat awaits for everyone."
- Oh! - What?
Next time on Survivor...
- My name is Ori. What's your name? - Ori's a
good-looking man. I know y'all seen those abs.
And I'm trying to turn on the charm.
With Kilby and I...
...it's just special.
This really sucks.
It really sucks.
And yeah, it was definitely a blindside.
There are people you grow close to,
and clearly, some of them voted me out tonight.
Think the thing that hurts the most is just leaving early,
and I had so much fight in me.
I don't even want a cheeseburger.
I kind of just want revenge.
