We don't bake porcelain in palace

but we have two pottery kilns here

but we have two pottery kilns here

but we have two pottery kilns here

I have thought about it

if I can't make seven-treasure-wreath

then I shall make a celadon Guanyin vase

then I shall make a celadon Guanyin vase

it's rare in the palace

If I can make it on time

perhaps I can submit this

then I still can compete with others

Alright. Xiao Cheng Zi

Quick, gather the workers of pottery kilns

Quick, gather the workers of pottery kilns

tonight we have a lot of works to do

Yes sir

Sir Zhu, let's move

Hold on, although we have the pottery kilns

Without china stone

you can't make molded pottery

We don't have this in our palace

We don't have this in our palace

it's personally done by you

I only lend you a pottery kiln

I only lend you a pottery kiln

didn't help you much

anyway

Sir Zhu

I need to thank you

No need to say thanks

Miss Lu, what is this?

Nothing

just a little something

Be careful

Close the kiln. Light the fire

Miss Lu

how long do we need to bake the kiln?

Now is first quarter of midnight

till three quarter in the dawn will do

till three quarter in the dawn will do

Such a long time?

I think

Miss Lu you better take a rest

Miss Lu you better take a rest

we will keep an eye for you

Thanks bro

But this porcelain is too important for me

But this porcelain is too important for me

I will only be at ease if I watch on it

Even so you need not stay here for the whole night

Even so you need not stay here for the whole night

Even so you need not stay here for the whole night

Why not you come and sit here

we'll watch here anyway

Miss Lu

you just need to check on it every half an hour

you just need to check on it every half an hour

Can also

Come, rest for a while

Miss Lu

you have been busy for the whole day, must be thirsty already

It's OK, bro

you have been busy for the whole day too

faster get some rest

Miss Lu, I don't deserve it

don't call me bro

call me Li Da-Dan will do

Since I were castrated and come into palace at 10 years old

I have been doing the heavy work of kilns

I have been doing the heavy work of kilns

I never know that this pottery kiln

can bake such precious porcelain

Miss is knowledgeable

Can you tell me

what's the difference between pottery and porcelain?

Pottery and porcelain have not much difference indeed

Pottery and porcelain have not much difference indeed

they are both to put the clay into the kilns

and burn with blazing fire

The difference is we use normal yellow clay to make pottery

The difference is we use normal yellow clay to make pottery

but to make molded pottery for porcelain

we must use china stone

But we don't have china stone in Great Qi

while in country Chen

they have a lot of china stone veins

therefore porcelain of country Chen is very famous

therefore porcelain of country Chen is very famous

But in country Qi

it has become extremely rare treasure

it has become extremely rare treasure

I accidentally found out in Qingjing Palace

the clay there contain a lot of porcelain stone that can make porcelain

the clay there contain a lot of porcelain stone that can make porcelain

the clay there contain a lot of porcelain stone that can make porcelain

thus boldly try it for once

When you do pottery

you use normal firewood right?

Yes

That's why no matter how you bake

you can't produce porcelain

This time

I change for you guys

pine woods that have higher content of oil

did you see the golden flame?

Did you see the golden flame?

You can only produce quality porcelain with these fire

You can only produce quality porcelain with these fire

Miss Lu

why you tell us all these?

Why you tell us all these?

These porcelain making skills are so precious in our country Qi

These porcelain making skills are so precious in our country Qi

only a few wealthy families in capital know

only a few wealthy families in capital know

You told us all these

don't you afraid we'll steal the techniques?

Although you guys work in palace

you all must be skillful craftsman among the people

you all must be skillful craftsman among the people

Therefore today I learn from each other by exchanging views

Therefore today I learn from each other by exchanging views

There are still much to learn from everyone in the future

There are still much to learn from everyone in the future

You flatter me!

Miss Lu

there are a lot of imperial maids and aunts in the palace

there are a lot of imperial maids and aunts in the palace

but it's first time we meet someone ingenuity and kind like Miss Lu

but it's first time we meet someone ingenuity and kind like Miss Lu

but it's first time we meet someone ingenuity and kind like Miss Lu

but it's first time we meet someone ingenuity and kind like Miss Lu

Since Miss Lu is so kind to us

Since Miss Lu is so kind to us

we'll surely repay in good

we'll surely repay in good

I'm sorry

Madam

Lu Zhen still hasn't back to Chamberlain Bureau

Lu Zhen still hasn't back to Chamberlain Bureau

Should we...

No need

Three more hours to morning

we shall wait for her good show

we shall wait for her good show

we shall wait for her good show

Demoted as third-rate imperial maid

can't be promoted for the whole life

Stay in the palace like this

she would rather died

I need not take any action

But why is her silk broken?

We did not play tricks

We did not play tricks

Someone is too proud recently

even God can't stand with her

Open the kiln

You stay here, it's too hot inside

let us take it out for you

Alright

Don't open first

Lu Zhen, open it

No matte what

you have done your best

Shangshi Officer

Shangyi Officer

Why is it one person less?

Where is Lu Zhen?

Someone play tricks with her silk

Someone play tricks with her silk

her glass bead is smashed

imperial maid who guide the door said

she had been out yesterday evening to find solution

she had been out yesterday evening to find solution

I had said this

whoever is late will be disqualified

Wait

Wait

I'm here, I'm here

I'm here

You are good in rushing

where is your seven-treasure-wreath?

This is jade?

No

This is not jade

It's white porcelain

White porcelain

How would this world will have white porcelain?

How would this world will have white porcelain?

Is this porcelain?

It's made by you?

Yes

It's made personally by me

Sir Zhu of Imperial Office

and all workers can be my witnesses

Did you put any white powder on it?

Did you put any white powder on it?

How would I never heard of white porcelain?

How would I never heard of white porcelain?

Madam please check as you like

I heard

there is a ancient piece of jade

its white as snow

Emperor Qin had it and dominated the world

There were only celadon and yellow porcelain in dynasty before

There were only celadon and yellow porcelain in dynasty before

I manage to produce white porcelain for the first time ever in this dynasty

I manage to produce white porcelain for the first time ever in this dynasty

It must be

the Heaven is touched with the emperor rules the world with humanity and morality

the Heaven is touched with the emperor rules the world with humanity and morality

then only give this lucky omen

You are only good in wheedling

Shangyi Wang, you have not seen white porcelain

it's you being inexperience and ignorant

But

you can't speak nonsense

saying that our emperor isn't a wise emperor

saying that our emperor isn't a wise emperor

Now the result has been obvious

it's time for you to announce

who would be promoted as female officer this year

Of course

But anyone else can be promoted except her

But anyone else can be promoted except her

why?

White porcelain of Lu Zhen is indeed unprecedented

White porcelain of Lu Zhen is indeed unprecedented

but don't you forget Shangshi Lou

when she registered

she said the treasure she wants to submit

is seven-treasure-wreath

The taboo in an exam is being irrelevant

The taboo in an exam is being irrelevant

and so is our skill-based exam

and so is our skill-based exam

But Madam Shangyi never say that can't interim change the treasure

But Madam Shangyi never say that can't interim change the treasure

But Madam Shangyi never say that can't interim change the treasure

But Madam Shangyi never say that can't interim change the treasure

Still quibble

Alright

Even though you get the first in skill-based exam

but you don't have result for paper-based exam

but you don't have result for paper-based exam

In my opinion

double-sided white embroidered book of Chen Yun

definitely can get first three places in this skill-based exam

definitely can get first three places in this skill-based exam

She's the first in paper-based exam

According to the score distrubution of the exam

definitely she's qualified enough to be the first

definitely she's qualified enough to be the first

I admire your skill

but Lu Zhen

in the palace

you should follow the order from superior strictly

abide by the palace rules and live what you preach

Thanks for your teaching

That being the case

do you still remember your bet with me?

Do you still remember your bet with me?

Wang Xuan, don't be too over

Shut up

I'm only teaching her to be responsible for her words

I'm only teaching her to be responsible for her words

Shangshi Lou, don't you forget

this promotion examination

is not for your Lou family to promote cronies

is not for your Lou family to promote cronies

but to promote the most talented female officer for our Great Qi

but to promote the most talented female officer for our Great Qi

If she can't even practice the basic of being responsible for her words

If she can't even practice the basic of being responsible for her words

how would her subordinate submit to her in the future?

How would her subordinate submit to her in the future?

You

Shangshi Officer

don't fight with her anymore

Shangyi Officer is right

it's Lu Zhen being useless

That being the case

I announce

the first choice to be promoted as female officer

the first choice to be promoted as female officer

is the first-rate imperial maid of Wude Hall

As for Lu Zhen

according to her words

repealing her position of the first-rate imperial maid

can't be promoted for the entire life

Wait

I got something to say

Sir Zhu

Please rise

Sir Zhu

why are you here in Chamberlain Bureau?

Why are you here in Chamberlain Bureau?

I don't like to beat about the bush

I'm here to defend against an injustice

I'm here to defend against an injustice

This little friend of mine

just produced the first ever white porcelain

just produced the first ever white porcelain

Such a talented girl

perhaps me Zhu Er-Ting

also have to take a back seat

Such a talented girl

you not only didn't put her in an important position

but demoted her

but demoted her

Sir, you are right

I also think that Lu Zhen should be rewarded

I also think that Lu Zhen should be rewarded

but this Madam Wang...

I did not expect this imperial maid Lu Zhen

has such a good network

even Sir Zhu from Imperial Office

is also her friend

But Sir Zhu

I'm handling this impartially

I'm handling this impartially

Impartially? What's impartial?

Let me ask you

why your Chamberlain Bureau need to have this

promotion exam among the imperial maids every year?

This is to promote talented people for the emperor

This is to promote talented people for the emperor

Lu Zhen had produced the first ever white porcelain

Lu Zhen had produced the first ever white porcelain

is it not to be regarded as talented?

Do you know that

because lack of development in the porcelain industry in our dynasty

we need to buy a lot of porcelain from country Chen

we need to buy a lot of porcelain from country Chen

If this white porcelain

spread out of the Palace

perhaps the emperor of country Chen whose a porcelain lover

perhaps the emperor of country Chen whose a porcelain lover

has to envy about it

Shangyi Wang

why do you adhere rigidly to the rules

strangle talented people like Lu Zhen?

Sir, you may not know

Shangyi Wang is former officer of country liang

the emperor of country Liang and her entire family

all of them were dead in the hands of current emperor of country Chen

all of them were dead in the hands of current emperor of country Chen

thus you hate whatever things that emperor of country Chen loves

thus you hate whatever things that emperor of country Chen loves

Lou Qing-Qiang

Don't talk nonsense

Zhu Er-Ting

I call you Sir because I respect you as a fourth class Shaojian

I call you Sir because I respect you as a fourth class Shaojian

In my opinion

Shangyi Wang got her point

but Shaojian Zhu is right too

I newly ascended to the throne

can get white porcelain as good omen

of course it's a happy event

Oh ya

where's the white porcelain vase?

Such a beautiful porcelain, white as snow

it must be rare

My brother and Honored Concubine

both are porcelain lover

certainly they will like it

Thanks Your Majesty for the praise

Lu Zhen you have deserved well by presenting this white porcelain

should be rewarded

But the promotion system in Chamberlain Bureau

I don't want to intervene

Let's do it this way

Chamberlain Bureau promote two to be officer

from the remaining seven imperial maids

As for Lu Zhen, I exceptionally promote her

directly be a eighth class officer

directly be a eighth class officer

Your Majesty, the promotion of officer

has always been started from ninth class

How can Lu Zhen stem from eighth class?

How can Lu Zhen stem from eighth class?

Wang Xuan

how dare you to retort Your Majesty

As a loyal official

we should bluntly pointed out when Your Majesty make an indiscreet remark

we should bluntly pointed out when Your Majesty make an indiscreet remark

those flattering and fawning are mean

those flattering and fawning are mean

Your Majesty, the promotion of officer

has always been the responsibility of Chamberlain Bureau

Your Majesty please don't intervene

Furthermore, Lu Zhen can made this white porcelain

most likely it's by luck

How could give her a eighth class position by there?

How could give her a eighth class position by there?

Please think twice Your Majesty

Shanyi Wang, how could you talk wildly

Your Majesty is the lord of the world

Everything in Back Palace

why can't freely make decision?

Furthermore, the real person in charge of Back Palace

should be the future empress

Even your Honored Concubine

only holds the Phoenix seal temporary

You

Enough

Shangyi Wang

I forgive you of slip of the tongue

As whether Lu Zhen is by luck...

Lu Zhen, I give you five days' time

if you can

produce another batch of white porcelain

I give you the position of eighth class Zhangzhen

If not

you shall back to be your first class imperial maid

you shall back to be your first class imperial maid

This is it

after five days

I will personally check on it

You all shall leave now

Thanks Your Majesty

Madam, you are very happy today

Madam, you are very happy today

Wang Xuan is in such an unfavorable situation

how could I not be happy?

The emperor is on the side of Lu Zhen

The emperor is on the side of Lu Zhen

Even you can see it

but this idiot Wang Xuan

insists to go against the emperor

Think about it

His Majesty just ascended the throne

His Majesty not even clear with The Six Division

how would His majesty knew that

Zhangzhen is the eighth class officer in Treasure Division?

Zhangzhen is the eighth class officer in Treasure Division?

But

isn't that Lu Zhen is with the highness Prince Changguang...

I also wonder

but it doesn't matter

The emperor and Prince Changguang

it's not the first time they like the same woman

it's not the first time they like the same woman

Is Miss Lu still in Imperial Office?

Yes

Since that decree is given

she has not been back to Qingjing Hall

she has not been back to Qingjing Hall

Only let me dug some white clay under osmanthus tree for her

Only let me dug some white clay under osmanthus tree for her

Only let me dug some white clay under osmanthus tree for her

How about the letter?

She tears it without reading

She tears it without reading

It's all your relentless Highness' fault

It's all your relentless Highness' fault

how dare him not to accept her belt

She cried a lot for this

She cried a lot for this

and also drink a lot

and she's late for paper-based exam due to this too

But our Highness is innocent

But our Highness is innocent

He doesn't know the meaning of the belt

He doesn't know the meaning of the belt

He..

He doesn't know?

It's impossible

Everyone in our country Qi knows about this custom

Everyone in our country Qi knows about this custom

His Highness really doesn't know?

I finally found someone more stupid than you

I finally found someone more stupid than you

I finally found someone more stupid than you

I---

Miss Lu

Don't know why

the product recently aren't white in color

the product recently aren't white in color

I don't understand

The clay, fire temperature

they are the same

Is it really a coincident?

Miss Lu

I'm OK

Alright

you haven't been eating or drinking for one whole day

you haven't been eating or drinking for one whole day

Listen to me

go back and rest

Isn't it two more days before the deadline?

Isn't it two more days before the deadline?

Don't be so hard to yourself

Then I'll go back and have some rest

perhaps I can suddenly see the light

perhaps I can suddenly see the light

Faster go back and rest

Faster go back and rest

This clay is the leftover

And this

just freshly dug

they look the same

but why?

Zhen

Sir Gao

what makes you here late in the night?

What makes you here late in the night?

I knew it was my fault

I shouldn't speak to you that way

Sir Gao

it's only a casual encounter

please call me properly

I knew you still mad at me

I knew you still mad at me

But I'm forced to do it

But I'm forced to do it

Is it so?

Why you had to do it?

Zhen

We had gone through so much

We had gone through so much

this little misunderstanding

do not take it to head

Rubbish!

Sir Gao

explanation will only be effective if you speak clearly

explanation will only be effective if you speak clearly

explanation will only be effective if you speak clearly

Being hiding and secretive

what's the difference with lying?

I'm sorry

I forgot

I should be aware with my identity
