All right. So, you see the camera?
I've been on my laptop all day.
Suspiciously familiar.
We're all familiar. I'm doing the 14-day fan challenge.
Really?
I am so happy to be getting rid of her for two weeks.
You're saying that now until goodbye, julia.
For the first time in naked and afraid history,
The children of two naked and afraid all-stars
Are taking on a challenge of their own.
Hey, what kinda things you've been doing to prep?
All right, so for instance, I'm gonna take a quick jump up and down
On these rocks right here.
Nothing. Not even a wince.
My dad is wes.
He's been on the show three times.
He did 21 days in brazil.
Oh, my god, I can't believe you just did that.
I'm about to eat.
And xl challenge in africa.
- My man, wes! - I feel freaking great.
And a 21-day challenge in ecuador.
It's absolutely pouring out there.
I mean, everyday, for hours and hours and hours.
So, he's a pretty bad ass guy in my eyes.
I'm ready to see myself go through this evolution,
That he has also gone through.
I know I'm gonna be on with another veteran's kid.
I have no idea who.
Hey julia, I brought you a little extra breakfast.
- Termites, mom. - Try one.
- Just try one. - I'm going.
'cause if you've not eat a termite, you don't know how to live.
Let me see 'em on your tongue.
- Is it delicious? - It's so good.
You're welcome, america.
My mom is trish bulinsky.
And she did a challenge in
Rio claro, colombia.
And she kicked ass.
- Something got in? - Something got in.
- Look, they're eating... - Shut up, they're eating our leaves?
- Yes. - Oh, my god.
We'll jump together.
Three. Two. One.
Run it, honey, run it. Get those feet in shape.
The reason I'm doing this challenge is
To prove to my mom that she's not the only badass in our house.
Yeah, look at those jungle stompers.
This is it.
You're not gonna fit.
- Bye, honey. Miss you. - Bye.
- All right. I'll see you. - You too.
I'm ready for a major adventure.
Bring it on.
Here we go.
I'm seeing a lot of forest.
It's really beautiful, but desolate, nonetheless.
This jungle is definitely intimidating.
Not something to be messed with.
This is gonna be my future for the next two weeks of my life.
It's getting real. It's really getting real here.
My confidence level is about as high as it's ever been,
Now that I'm seeing the environments.
So, I'm ready to do it.
I would describe myself as
Happy-go-lucky, driven, and head strong.
And if I just have the right attitude, I can get through just about anything.
It is very important that I make it through.
Not only so I can approach my dad as an equal from now on,
But just for my own pride.
When I think of advice that my dad has given me,
"you're gonna be miserable, so you might as well get used to it."
Being here with the kid of a veteran is giving me some comfort.
I'm not gonna be looking back one bit.
Let's get out there. Let's do this. I'm ready.
Holy! That's pretty.
That looks like a desktop background right there.
Being eighteen, I'll be the youngest person to attempt this challenge.
And,
I'm kinda proud of that.
I'd say one of the biggest misconceptions about me is that,
I'm just that little teenage blond girl that...
Not really that tough, can't really deal with much,
But I have a very tough mentality
And that's one of the biggest things that can get you through this.
My mom is very outspoken type of person,
But I'm exact opposite.
Cool, calm, and collected.
I'm really just gonna try and keep a positive attitude like my mom's been telling me to.
I know I'm gonna kill it and I'm ready for it.
Waylon and julia will be surviving 14 days
In santa rosa, mexico.
In this dramatic, highland rainforest,
They will endure crushing humidity,
Relentless fire ants,
And have to stay vigilant for pumas and jaguars
That use their supreme night vision
To stalk and kill their prey.
The dense jungle is also the perfect hunting ground
For one of the most deadly vipers on earth,
The fer-de-lance.
Here we go.
Just another Tuesday.
Being naked isn't really a thing to me.
There's less tight things on you.
It's more comfortable.
I am sweating.
It's my favorite outfit.
Some traits I would not be able to stand in a partner,
Is they were lazy, and...
Oh, my god, please don't be a crier.
These ants, man.
Killing me.
Waylon has learnt survival skills
Such as hunting and fire building from his father.
Julia is resilient, like her mother.
She also has experience making traps and snares.
And while they both have the stamina of youth,
They both lack body fat,
Which could become a distinct disadvantage
If they struggle to source food.
They both begin with the same primitive survival rating
Or psr, of 5.9.
- What's up. - Hi.
Yeah, I'm covered in ants right now.
- How you doing? - Hi.
I hope I'm not spreading all my ants to you.
Yeah please stay away.
Watch out for fire ants, 'cause they are coming with a fiery hell.
- So, what's you name? - Waylon.
- What's your name? - Julia.
Julia. It's nice to meet you, julia.
You too. It's a great first meeting.
Yeah, I know, yeah. Covered in ants.
I got welts all over me now.
So, who's your parent?
I am trish's daughter. From colombia.
Okay, I'm wes's son.
He's done ecuador and couple of other places.
- Oh wow. - Yeah.
I've been really excited for this moment that we get to put the bags on.
- Dude, it's like christmas morning. - I know, yeah.
What have you got?
So, I've got a fire starter, lent to me by my father.
I have a machete.
I got a pot right here.
I got a map.
So, we are here.
Looks like we gotta go down to the jungle.
It's just looking like a snake cave.
Yeah. Looks like there's some resources over here that we gotta get to.
Yeah, looks like a there's a river between us and them, though.
Well, no time like the present.
Let's go. Let's get a move on.
Julia and waylon will hike three miles towards the delta.
Heavy rains up river can cause it to flash flood,
Rising several feet within minutes.
And it's raging currents and multiple hundred foot waterfalls,
Make it treacherous to navigate.
So, what's your deal?
You got any plans for school or anything like that?
Honestly, I have no idea what I wanna do with my life.
I graduated two years ago from high school
And one of the biggest reasons to take on this challenge,
Is to figure out what I actually wanna do after I get out of here.
Did you just graduate?
So, I'm actually missing classes to be here right now.
My last class actually, of college.
- Are you actually? - Yeah.
Well, you better make this worthwhile then.
I know right? Yeah.
Me and waylon definitely have kind of the same sense of humor.
Definitely laughing at everything already, constantly.
So, I'm really looking forward to doing this challenge with him.
God. Sharp stuff.
So, it's a little more forested over here.
It's definitely getting thicker.
What is that noise?
Holy!
-Oh! -Be very careful.
How does it look?
It's a far drop.
You gonna take a look?
No. That's just a straight up no.
I'm just not going down there.
I'm looking at this insane view
And I turn around
And see waylon is kind of still hiding on the trail
And come to find out he is terrified of heights.
I don't like that.
Just don't look, don't look.
Ohh.
This is an interesting little spot right here.
Yeah.
This cave seems like a great place to set up shop.
It's not too bad.
Oh, my god.
- Look. Yeah. - What the hell. That's right there.
Fresh water, baby.
Man, I'll go for it, yeah.
Go for it.
- Smell good, taste good, look good? - Yeah.
Smell good, look good, taste good. All of the above.
I like it here.
This is gonna be our best bet of staying like super dry.
And we have access to that guaranteed water source.
The only thing I'm worried about up here is snakes.
Yeah.
In addition to the deadly fer-de-lance,
Santa rosa is also home to the mexican moccasin,
A highly dangerous pit viper
That nests in the crevices of caves.
It's long hinged fangs can deliver a fatal bite,
Killing an adult human within hours.
I'm fine with just sleeping on the floor.
I dunno about you.
I'm fine with that.
But this was washed up here by the river. It didn't just get here.
I don't wanna be in here when that water comes up.
Yeah, I understand the concern.
I am scared of staying in this cave,
Because of my mom's experiences of flash flooding in the middle of the night.
All right, we do also have to keep in mind, the time constraints.
That is true.
'cause we are going to rapidly run out of day here in the next few hours.
Julia seems really scared of places that could potentially flood,
But it's dry.
So, I can't just ignore that.
We can get something going down here.
Well, I'm gonna go see if I can't get a little fuego started.
Pretty good at fire?
Yeah, my dad actually taught me.
So, while waylon is working on the fire, I decided to go and, get
Firewood, firewood, firewood.
'cause I'm not going cold.
Just picking up stuff like cordage and any fire materials that we can use.
I'll be honest.
Time is not exactly looking like it's on our side right now.
Sun is quickly going down.
I'm getting nervous.
It's just so damn moist out here.
It's scary
Thinking that someone else is relying on you to start a fire
And what if you can't do it.
Hell yeah.
Hold up, I need help with this.
Yup.
We got it. We got it.
- Yeah. - Good job.
Nothing, nothing, nothing, poof!
And then that was it.
When you like finally get a go and you're like,
Holy, this is what I needed.
- You know? - Yeah.
All I know is we've got fire.
Thank you, waylon.
I know my dad would be proud of me.
So, we've got a fire going
And enough wood to last us for a little while.
I realize I'm exhausted right now.
I would really like an okay night's sleep tonight
And hit the ground running tomorrow morning.
So, here I am, up for hours.
I've been travelling around every corner of this fire
And I cannot seem to find one semi-comfortable place
To catch some shut-eye.
You okay?
I'm getting frustrated.
- Have you slept at all? - No.
My leg muscles keep cramping
Whenever I bend my legs.
It's terrible to try and sleep with.
Take your time, take a breath.
I can't even describe
How proud of myself I am after the first night.
You know, julia's a great partner.
So, she was very supportive.
I'm hoping for a good night's sleep tonight.
And if I can just make it to that next day
I'll probably feel a whole lot better.
It was a long night.
But, uh, the cave didn't flood...
And we did run out of firewood.
So, I'm trying to, get some dry wood.
I'm a little worried about waylon.
I hope I can help him through and just,
Keep in the right head space while we're out here.
I'm excited to try and find some food, man.
- I'm getting hun-hungry. - Me too.
On the map it said that the resources are mostly
On the other side of the river.
We should attempt to cross this river
And see what we can find.
Yeah.
And make sure you have your walking stick too.
Okay.
- I can handle this. - Oh, yeah.
We can get across this.
Be careful, these rocks are actually
Slippery over here.
Take a wrong step and all of a sudden you're,
Three feet deep in water.
Just with all the, uh, cracks and crevices.
It's pretty wild.
Thank god for walking sticks.
Right.
It helps so much.
Well, we made it.
Hell, yeah.
Yeah, let's take a gander.
- Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! - What?
Food!
Oh, yeah.
I think these are nanches.
Nanche. They're like, pretty sweet.
See right up there.
Then we can use the pit for bait.
- Can we? - Yeah.
Oh, I did not know that.
I'm gonna just start eating.
I'm starving.
These berries taste
Not that great.
They kinda taste like, chalky citrus.
But nonetheless, it is calories.
Are you getting as many as you can? 'cause I am.
- Yeah. I've got a handful. - Yeah?
I really enjoy it.
Specially with the hunger factor,
Anything is food
And our stomachs are pretty happy with us.
I hope these don't get me backed up
Like my dad in africa.
That's what got him tapped.
I'm just hung up right there.
All that pain is so bad.
I'm dude.
All that straining
And not a thing there.
Nobody should have to go through this. No one.
I know his was from a lot of meat.
But I know a lot of the same foods can really hurt you.
Um, after 15-20 of them,
My stomach is, like, ready to stop eating,
Which is pretty strange.
This is coming from the same guy
That could down 12 tacos in one sitting
Before he left for this.
Hold on!
Whoa! There's a big toad.
Oh, my god!
Looks like a toad to me.
The gulf coast toad
Secrets poisonous fluid
From its glands when under stress.
The poison is powerful enough to kill small animals
And is also toxic to humans.
Whoa! Got him.
Oh, I see the ooze.
- So, that's poisonous? - Yeah.
- So, it's a toad? - Yeah.
You could just skin it and eat it.
Okay. I'm just gonna cut its head off.
- Oh, god. - Yeah, he's, he's gone.
Okay. I'm absolutely thrilled
To have just gotten this meal for the night.
And, I'm really hoping
That this little bit of protein
Is going to help waylon get through the night
And improve his,
Look of the challenge.
I think we should probably go,
Do firewood and just get...
get comfortable in the cave for the night.
Oh. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Look at that snake.
- Oh, my god! - There, you see that?
- Yeah, I see the snake. - Uh-huh.
Holy crap.
The more I think about
Going through waters with snakes in it,
The more it's gonna make me nervous.
So, I'm just gonna stop right now.
All right. Let's head back.
Dude, I don't see where it went up. It didn't go up.
I'm just...
So focused right now.
I will be honest with you though.
What?
I'm feeling tiny bit queasy.
Do you think it's from the fruit?
I don't know.
Maybe it's just the fact that it's the first thing
I've eaten in, like, two days.
Yeah.
This toad, it's skin
Is extremely strong and elastic.
So, I'm having to be very specific with the machete.
Well, it kinda worked.
Oh! that's boiling. Okay.
Throw it in the pot.
You about ready to eat?
I am.
I come back from my firewood scavenge
And waylon already has dinner ready.
We've got a toad stew.
It is the most delightful thing.
- That's dinner. - Yeah.
Dinner in a nutshell right there.
- What do you think? - Hm. It's like chicken.
The toad has some meaty,
Meaty legs on him. And,
I'm in love.
I hope I don't start tripping.
You kinda have to pick it clean when you're eating it.
Just because of the toxins that can be in their skin.
And I really didn't want
To have some psychedelic journey.
Good. Fire and food.
Fire on day one, food on day two.
That's pretty damn good.
You know, I don't wanna sound cocky. But,
I think we're doing better than both of our parents did
On their first challenge.
I think we got pretty lucky
With how things are going right now.
I just have really bad diarrhea.
So, I'm really hoping that's,
Something that's,
On its way out, not in.
Um.
We'll see though. Um.
Oh. Yeah, I really hope I can get
Some sleep in the next little bit.
Ah, here we go.
Bathroom break number, three.
- How does your stomach feel? - Terrible.
I had to go poop again.
- Again? - Yes.
Bro.
I hope that goes away today.
I gotta go again. Sorry.
I hate to cut the conversation short.
Waylon's definitely an open book
With whatever that happens to him
Whether it's his emotions or bowel issues.
It can get kinda annoying
'cause I'm the complete opposite.
Because when I do have those emotions
My coping strategy is just to internalize it.
Saying it out loud for me,
It doesn't really help me.
I'm about to go
Make a fish trap across the river.
Okay.
I come to another waterfall.
And I'm looking down to the bottom
And I see a lot of, like, decent size fish.
It's really looking like a great spot
To start a fish trap.
Pretty slippery over here but,
It's honestly the best spot to catch fish.
So, I'm making a line
And then I'm gonna bring it in like a heart.
Make like a trap pool
So the fish don't know how to get out.
They come in and they can't,
They can' leave.
I think this is a, pretty decent trap
And hopefully we can get some fish.
How's it going?
I stopped having squirts a few hours ago.
- Good. Good. - Yeah.
Yeah. Since then the nausea
Kinda went away a little bit as well.
Awesome.
There's no more of those little orange fruits.
There's no real reliable food sources around here
Other than the little orange fruits.
But, we haven't seen a fresh supply yet
Which probably means that we can't rely on them
For the rest of the time we're here.
Damn, damn, damn, damn.
I saw something on the other side of the river.
Armadillos.
Right along the little line right there.
I, uh...
Sorry, I thought I saw something else.
What do you think you saw over there?
Probably an armadillo
- If I had to guess. - But.
I don't think it was big enough to be a puma.
But, you never really know.
Getting an armadillo,
Something nice and big where I can smoke it's meat
For a little while.
And then, uh, have some meat
For the rest of the time I'm here
Would be absolutely incredible.
Armadillos,
Do not like smoke.
So, the plan is to gather a bunch of embers,
Smoke the thing out
And then, eat it for dinner tonight.
Well, I'm gonna go check the fish trap then.
- I'll see you later partner. - Goodluck.
Thank you, buddy.
As soon as I find the armadillo, uh,
I'm gonna toss some green in there,
Get it really smoky
And get ready to, uh...
That looks like a potential.
Seeing the hole, I'm looking at scratch marks
And I'm thinking this is where the action's gonna go down.
It's getting a little smokier here now.
All right. Machete right here.
In we go.
Not seeing anything yet.
Sun's right on it. Um...
It's pretty clear that there's nothing in there.
I might have to think something new.
So, smoke is still coming out. It's still burning.
But, I feel like if anything would have popped out,
It would happened already.
This one is a task failed scenario.
Really wanted some meat tonight.
Damn, damn, damn, damn.
As my dad says,
"you don't need it, you just want it.
You don't need it."
since the fish trap didn't work out for me
I'm gonna try something on land.
Thinking I'm gonna make a paiute deadfall
Which is kinda like a figure four
But you use cordage instead.
So, it's easier to trip
And faster to slam down on your catch.
One stick right here to hold up this one.
Gonna tie some cordage right here
With a toggle stick.
And then, the rock on this side.
When the animal comes,
Hits the trigger stick, this all falls.
Ah. I'm having some trouble
Finding the right rock.
No. I think I'm gonna need a way lighter rock.
My body is feeling absolutely terrible.
Every day the challenge just gets harder.
You've got a few less calories to work with,
And your ability to function just nose dives after a certain point.
Exhausted.
It's still not gonna work.
My mom's words are ringing in my head about how hard this challenge is.
My mind is just exhausted.
We gotta get some food soon.
I'm really getting frustrated.
We could find something with any protein in it.
Any food. Oh, my god.
I think I see a bird's nest.
There it is.
Damn it.
Nothing.
It's getting really rough.
I really want some protein.
Run down?
- What? - Are you run down?
- Yeah. - And me too.
It's getting harder every moment.
Eight days into their challenge,
Waylon and julia have consumed less than 600 calories combined.
And they've expended more than 20,000.
I'm scared, like, I will just pass out.
Can't even stand up straight
Without wanting to fall over.
There is a pretty stiff breeze that keeps rolling in
That is way colder
Than anything we have experienced so far.
I think we are in store for a very cold night tonight.
But if we lose that fire, we are just absolutely
Yeah, that was like the worst night of my life.
It was definitely the coldest one so far.
Let's get some sticks to put on there.
Today is day nine
And I feel the worst I have ever felt physically
In my entire life.
Mentally,
It's making me not want to be here.
- Hey. - What's up, dude?
- I don't wanna be here, you know? - What?
Come on. Why?
I can't.
I think I'll let my dad keep this sort of thing for himself.
I think it's pointless for you.
Just need to stick it out.
I'm still gonna be proud of myself for what I have done so far.
Well, I don't think you should be unless you finish it.
And I'm going to try and make you feel bad right now
'cause I don't want you to leave.
- Yeah. - See, that seems really brave.
Because you are not finishing if you quit, you know?
Them.
You know? If you wanna leave, leave.
That was really rough man.
I'm just giving it to you straight.
I get it, it's hard, it's hard for me too.
I just wish he would, like,
Get his heart in the game.
Me and waylon, probably just in different mental spaces,
And I'm really getting frustrated.
You shouldn't be proud if you quit, 'cause that's not why we are here.
We are here to make it till the end. Not to see how far we can get.
But I'm just gonna let him have his alone time
To collect his thoughts and kind of think through
This decision he is about to make.
This challenge will be a lot harder
For one person.
So, obviously, I want him to stay. But he leaves, he leave.
I'm still proud of myself for making this far.
But how dare you?
Nothing to be proud.
"there is nothing to be proud of unless you finish." what?
We've made it nine days in the middle of bum nowhere with minimal food.
I don't know what else to say right now.
I just need to cool off for a few minutes.
I got to get it together. I got to get it together.
How is it going?
- Well, I'm staying. So... - you are?
Yeah. Yeah.
I'm glad you are staying.
And I'm sorry that I had my moments of weakness.
That's okay. We all do.
There is a part of me that appreciates the tough love.
Yeah. I know I was really harsh.
- But, I just thought... - um...
using the tough love that I did on waylon,
I just knew deep down
That's what he needed and I'm really glad it worked out.
You know, if I didn't care about you, I'd have let you just leave.
I know. I know. I know.
So I just have to, kind of, put my head down,
Take the pain on the chin and, kind of, deal with it.
Yeah, we can do this.
One step at a time. One day at a time.
I'm right there with you. I'm right there.
I can always choose to make a change.
I don't have to stay complacent if I'm in a bad spot.
If I want to make a change in my life, all I have to do is start.
My plan now is to just build a shelter.
It's essentially just gonna be a wind break for us and the fire.
Um, I'll sleep under it and you are certainly welcome to, too.
It's not a one person thing.
Like, it's just gonna be
A-framed with only one side.
- Is it kinda like a lean-to? - Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
This is my too support beam right here.
So next step now is laying beams
Going this way.
Then from there, what I'll do is, I'll take the live stuff over there
And I'll start to lattice it through,
Give it a lot of strength.
And then the step after that is to
Start laying leaves down so that it actually has
Protective qualities.
I'll go to sleep like a dang king tonight.
Sleep a lot better now. Yeah, everything is great.
It's a crazy transformation.
"you can only improve your situation", is my dad always says.
And that's what we are doing here.
- Right julia? - Hell, yeah.
I would love to get some protein in the next couple of days
Because I just don't have the energy.
It's all about the energy.
Oh, no.
Whoa. Uh-uh.
That's not good.
It's a cat track.
Pumas are nasty business, man.
You don't really wanna get involved with them.
That is really not something
We wanna run into at all.
- Hello. - Hi.
I was looking up there and just, uh,
Saw a cat track.
- Um, puma, if I have to guess. - Okay.
- Yeah. - That's a little unnerving.
Yeah. I'm incredibly nervous about that.
Really wanna get some food in my stomach.
Little protein might do us some good.
Might up my spirits a little bit.
- Did you see that? - Huh?
- Saw the lizard? - Where?
Right there.
Oh, my god.
We are just sitting, tending the fire,
And there is a lizard on the tree.
It's not very big but it is protein.
The side of the tree.
Gotcha.
Got him. Ha, ha.
- All right... - Little bit of protein.
Well, snack, snack.
Julia gets this lizard. It's awesome.
I mean she's got a great eye.
It's very good to have a partner like her.
We'll get a nice medium rare going.
Yeah...
I'll take it. Thank you.
- Mmm, mmm. - It tastes like
Pretty much anything else you cook on a fire.
Good?
Mmm, mmm, mmm.
Delicious.
Look at how freaking nice this fire is.
- How do you feel about that, waylon? - Hold on.
Can you point it over there for me?
Is there anything looking at us or anything?
- I swear I heard something. - What did it sound like?
I heard that.
- What is that? - There's no way that's a puma, right?
Okay. Let's get this fire out.
Yeah, let's get the fire out. All right. All right.
It's like right near the cave entrance.
It's not small, whatever it is.
Seriously.
What the is that? Oh, my god.
We are gonna have to move this barrier. Hold up.
- Have you pooped at all since you've been out here? - No.
What?
You have not one time?
- I ten times since we got here. - I know that.
Twice this morning. Like eight times the other day.
- Sorry, man. I gotta cut this short. - I'm gonna have to take another.
I just don't know how you have that much stuff in you.
Oh, my god.
Your intestines are sparkling clean.
Last night we had a big cat roaming the camp.
But we are safe.
- We just need to get wood today. - Yep, that's all.
Dude, we're so freaking close.
It just hit me a little while ago.
I can literally taste the finish line.
Freaking crazy.
I'm gonna be a whole different person,
But in the best possible way, when I get back.
Like I grew up so much big out here.
Seeing how much of a struggle it's been,
I give so much respect to my mom
For being able to do 21 days.
Rain all the time and bugs.
That is one of the hardest things that I probably couldn't do.
We are gonna be so strong after this, man.
Day 14.
We'll start the hike out of here pretty soon and get out.
We are so excited to get the hell out of here.
Oh, I'm beyond inspired. Let's go.
Fourteen days and it all comes to an end
In a single second.
Bye cave.
Good riddance.
- All right. So we're here. - Yep.
We got to go up a little bit, cross the river.
Extraction. There it is.
Yeah, let's hit the road, man.
Julia and waylon will need to trek two miles
Through steep thorny terrain
Where pumas roam
And venomous snakes lurk.
And then hike a further mile, along a sheer ridge line
To reach their extraction point
Near a 130 foot waterfall.
I feel very run down,
I haven't eaten much for about 14 days.
But I've been ready to go
Since really day one.
You okay?
That is looking crazy steep, man.
I'm already feeling this.
- Yeah. My legs are feeling it hard. - Yeah.
- It's all right, it'll be worth it. - Oh, yeah.
It's looking like a snake caves and...
- yeah. I'm definitely keeping my eyes wide open. - Oh, yeah.
Oh, what was that?
What was what?
Something just went in there.
Man, this is a little sketchy.
I'm not feeling great about how high up we are right now.
One little chunk of soil gives way
And all of a sudden, you're 30-feet down.
Watch out, this is like a straight fall right here.
Ow!
I almost sliced my nutsack open there.
If you drop your stick,
There's another hand to the left.
- Right here? - There, yeah.
Whew, that's ridiculous.
Good save.
I'm done with that.
That was very close.
At least we don't have those heights any more.
You seeing that, man?
Holy.
Well, we have to cross the river
And I'm thinking this might be the spot to cross.
This seems like the place to do it, man.
Yeah.
Pretty damn slippery over here.
Watch your step here.
Definitely feel the lack of energy hitting me.
Yeah, my legs are feeling it really hard,
More than anything else.
Ooh, that was right in my heel.
Dude, dude.
We got a road.
We're at a road.
Is this it? Did we make it?
I think we did.
Oh, my god, there it is, look.
Holy that's it.
Oh, my gosh.
We're outta here.
Ohhh!
We made it!
I can't wait to call my mom.
They're gonna be so proud of us.
I wanna talk to my dad so damn bad right now.
This challenge has taken me to...
Some of the darkest places I've ever been.
Then all the way up
To some of the brightest moments I've ever had in my life.
This challenge definitely has made me
Figure out what I actually want to do,
After I get out of here.
I plan on taking some college classes
And starting a career.
Fourteen days.
Hell yes! Oh, my god.
Initially I chose to do this challenge
To prove to my mom she's not the only badass.
But you really do have to be a badass to do this
And mentally I've really grown,
And I can really appreciate that for the rest of my life.
Julia lost 13-pounds during the challenge.
Her psr rises to a 6.3.
I'm glad you stayed, man.
I'm glad I'm here.
This challenge has confirmed
What my dad has told me about walking out of here
With so many new tools that I can use
And make my life better.
I can handle a whole lot more than I thought I could.
Waylon dropped 27-pounds.
His psr rises to 6.2.
That is 14 days.
Whoo-hoo! We did it!
See you later.
Peace out.
There he is.
What's going on, man?
Oh, it's good to see you.
Good to see you too.
You made it?
Yeah, we're good.
Ah!
That's it.
- I'm super proud of you. - Thank you.
Congratulations.
Oh, my god, thank you.
- We made it. - Made it.
We're matching.
They're a little different.
Cheers, cheers.
