We are done for the night.
I'm ready to relax.
Good night.
Good night.
I really need to pee.
You want me to go first?
I don't know how I feel about that.
I'm going.
I'm going.
Oh, man.
[Bleep]
You okay?
[Bleep]
Talk to me.
What is that?
It's a cobra.
Did you see that?
Let's get out of here.
[Bleep] Oh, my God!
[ Screams ]
Narrator: One man and one woman...
- Aah! - Aah!
Narrator: ...Alone for 21 days...
Aah!
Cut myself up pretty good here.
Narrator: ...To face the most primal survival challenge
of their lives.
Mmm. Rat kebabs.
They have no clothes, no food, no water.
Only their skills...
Ow. God, that [bleep] hurt.
Narrator: ...And their will to survive...
Whoo-hoo!
Jeremy: This is the moment that defines true character.
So, two days before I take off for "Naked and Afraid,"
and I'm just spending some quality time
with my horse, trigger.
I absolutely have no problem being naked.
I'll make sure I get a Brazilian wax before I go out.
I just have one thing to say...
you need to immediately find some fig leaves.
[ Laughter ]
Number-one priority.
It's okay to be Afraid. You better not be naked.
[ Laughter ]
Jeremy: Well, it's one more day
before I head out to the Philippines.
I told myself and my wife,
"I'm gonna get on 'Naked and Afraid' one day."
In the right conditions, using bamboo,
I've got it down to where I can have a fire going
in less than two minutes.
And we got a fire.
You better watch out, Philippines
'cause old Jeremy's coming to town there.
Narrator: 193 miles off the coast of Manila
in the Philippines lies west Nalaut island.
Hellishly hot and humid, the tangled vegetation
is a breeding ground for mosquitos
that carry the deadly dengue fever virus
and the venomous Philippine cobra,
whose bite can kill a person in less than 30 minutes.
From a distance, a tropical paradise,
but a closer look reveals a deadly and inhospitable place,
a demanding test for even the most skilled survivalist.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous a little bit.
My heart's kind of...
But it's a good nervous.
My name's Jeremy. I'm out of Monroe, Louisiana.
I'm 38 years old, and I'm in construction.
I'm definitely out of my element out here in the Philippines.
I've been pretty much living in the bayou state my whole life,
doing my own hunting, fishing, catching gators,
and snaring my hogs.
A lot of people in my life probably underestimated me.
A few people back home think that I'll be home
in just a few days.
They don't think I'll make this,
but I'm wanting to do this challenge
just to prove to my friends and my family I can do it.
Narrator: Jeremy's strengths lie in hunting and trapping,
but whether he can apply his skills
in an environment completely foreign to him
remains to be seen.
He starts with a primitive survival rating,
or PSR, of 7.3.
Whoo!
I wish the waves were bigger out here.
I'd fashion a surfboard and go surfing for 21 days.
My name is Cassidy, I'm 26 years old,
and I'm from the San Francisco bay area.
I'm very adventurous.
I love to travel.
I love riding horses and surfing.
I'm just very outdoorsy.
I'm a lot tougher than people think.
When someone tells me, "you can't do something,"
I tell them to go [Bleep] themselves.
It's really choppy out here.
I'm taking on this challenge because
I'm definitely in a time in my life
where I'm discovering who I am as an individual,
and I want to push myself to the point of breaking
and see if I have what it takes.
Narrator: Cassidy's ocean experience
should help her in a harsh island setting,
but with limited wilderness skills,
it's uncertain how much she will need to rely on her partner
to complete such a grueling challenge.
She begins with a PSR of 6.1.
Cassidy: I think I can absolutely survive 21 days.
I'm [bleep] Ready to take it on!
Jeremy: Well, it looks like we're here.
Clothes off. Game on.
I don't feel good about being naked.
Me and my wife, we've been married 18 years.
We dated four years through high school.
So that doesn't leave much room there
for people to see me naked.
I'm just gonna get it out and get it over with
and get on to survival.
Cassidy: I feel great about being naked
I love it.
No tan lines.
Well, there's no turning back now.
Jeremy: I see a cute little brunette walking this way.
Where I'm from, you just don't see them type of girls
out in the woods and stuff.
Hey!
How you doing?
Good. How are you?
We meet at last.
Yeah.
How are you? It's good to finally meet you.
Yeah. What's your name?
Jeremy. Jeremy, I'm Cassidy.
Cassidy?
In construction.
Yeah? Yeah.
What do you do?
Um, just here right now. I'm a surfer.
Wow. Cool.
I don't know nothing about surfing.
[ Chuckles ] Maybe I can teach you.
The waves out there are big enough.
Find a board. We'll do it.
Yeah.
You want to see what we got in the bags?
Yeah.
Narrator: In addition to a knife,
Cassidy and Jeremy have each been allowed a survival item.
I brought my pot with me. Perfect.
We can catch some crab and boil it up in here.
I brought a roll of my snare wire.
You're a hunter.
I love to hunt. Okay.
Plus we got good cordage.
Yeah, that's true.
Very cool.
Lastly, got a map.
Women always get the map.
'Cause we're always right.
[ Laughs ]
Jeremy and Cassidy's best chance for staying hydrated
will be to trek across the island to its lowest point
near this eastern bay, where the underground water table
is closest to the surface.
It looks like we're right here.
And we have some possibly freshwater.
So it wouldn't hurt to go find that.
Yeah.
Did you notice our extraction point?
Looks like a long ways to me,
and there's probably tiger sharks out there.
I think we'll be fine.
All right. I'm following your lead.
You're a tough guy.
[ Laughs ]
Well, let's see.
Oh, nice.
I try to keep my eyes out for bamboo as we go along.
I'm gonna take one of these.
Got you a walking stick?
Yeah.
My snake stick.
First impressions of Jeremy ...he's such a nice guy,
just a country boy.
And seems like he knows a lot about survival.
I couldn't have asked for a better partner.
Oh, oh, oh.
Aah!
Are you okay?
On my hand. On my hand.
What you got?
Red ants. Ohh, these are biting me.
Aah! [Bleep] These things.
Turn around.
Where did they come from?
I don't know.
Oh, right above you.
Yeah.
I don't want to bump that.
Oh, on the inside of your leg.
Jeremy: Inside... hold on.
Keep it off my junk.
[ Laughs ]
So, Cassidy, my partner ...California surfer girl.
You know, I'm from the south.
I'm gonna do my best for her, just like for any other woman.
I'm excited about getting to know her.
[ Sighs ] Boy, these ants are tough.
[ Chuckles ]
And I am pouring down with sweat.
Yeah.
I'm ready for something to drink.
So, on a list of priorities...
Normally, I'd say shelter.
Yeah.
But it's so hot and humid.
You can really feel it draining all the moisture out of you.
I definitely can tell that I'm getting dehydrated.
Oh, absolutely.
I think our top priority ought to be water.
Yeah. Water.
It's starting to get a little later.
Yeah.
I feel like we're losing sun.
Yeah.
I know we got to be getting close.
So what's your thoughts?
That way, we can get some kind of plan in motion now.
Okay.
Why don't we check out the bay?
I'm thinking that's gonna be a good food source right there.
Yeah, yeah.
You okay? It's so hot.
You hear that music to your ears?
Ohh.
Beautiful!
We have made it to the ocean
all the way on the other side of the island.
After three hours sweating in the jungle, this is heaven.
Yeah!
Jeremy: I'm anxious to get the fire going
and hopefully get some water.
But at the same time, I want her to be happy,
so I mean, if she's refreshing
and she's feeling good right now, I'm all for it.
So I don't feel like we need to build a shelter here.
Right.
I think we can sleep out underneath the stars.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, I could use something to drink.
Come on. Let's go cut some bamboo.
Okay.
I have made a fire with bamboo before.
Oh, okay.
We're definitely running out of daylight.
Yeah.
That is some strong bamboo.
Ah, yes.
Okay.
All right, it's getting pretty dark.
We need to take what we got and get down to the beach.
Okay.
[ Sighs ] You good?
We gonna have to get water.
Yeah.
The ground here feels so moist.
It does.
If we dig a little hole right here
down to the water table,
then maybe we can find some freshwater.
If you want that fire, though,
I might need to give it a shot
while I still got some energy.
Should I find the water, and you give that a shot?
Okay.
Swinging that blade really pulls it out of you.
Yeah, it does, especially when you're thirsty.
Cassidy: I'm gonna start digging right here,
and if he gets a fire, we can boil up some water.
We've already lost so much water sweating through the jungle.
Jeremy: I'm trying fire by friction.
Narrator: Using the fire-saw method,
Jeremy first creates bamboo shavings
that will form a tinder bundle.
Placing the tinder in the top section
of the hollow bamboo,
the friction from the sawing motion
should generate enough heat to ignite the tinder
through a hole in the bamboo.
Nothing.
I'm starting to feel like it's a real possibility
this water is too far underneath the dirt.
So I'm gonna head back and help my partner out.
Maybe we can dig this hole together.
I really want to get this fire going.
Cassidy: Jeremy?
Did you find water?
No.
No water.
Yeah. Let me help you.
What do you need?
I can't see nothing, Cassidy.
Here we go. Just keep it going.
Don't stop.
It's a lot easier doing this when you're hydrated.
[ Groans ] I'm running out.
Come on. Come on. You can... just a little bit more.
Just a little bit more.
You're almost there.
You're almost there.
Oh, I see smoke.
Oh, oh, oh.
No?
Oh, man.
I feel like I'm gonna cry.
I'm sorry.
Really thirsty.
It's only night one, and we're already in trouble.
We need water.
Jeremy: I definitely can tell that I'm getting dehydrated.
Getting harder to swallow.
The lips are real dry.
Ooh.
All right.
First, we got to find that water.
Yep.
Jeremy: Being out here... it's hot, it's humid.
It really pulls all the moisture out of you.
We need that water today.
Narrator: Cassidy and Jeremy return
to where Cassidy began digging the night before
to see if they can dig deep enough to reach water.
Jeremy: There's a water table underneath there,
but we don't know how deep it is.
So, what are you missing at home?
You know, my number-one priority at the moment is me and you.
That's it.
And getting to the bottom of this.
Yeah.
That's getting moist.
What do you think?
About six feed is usual.
I feel like we're almost six feet.
Let me jump in now, yeah?
That smells horrible, Cassidy.
Yeah.
Oh.
You smell it?
Ugh.
Oh, my God.
You're gonna love this.
Wow, your toes just hit water. I saw it.
Yeah.
We did it.
Jeremy: That smell reeks of death.
It's like something died down in that hole,
and it just got buried down there.
[ Insects buzzing ]
If we drink it,
that's gonna probably do us in right there.
Do you think it'll fill up?
Actually, I'm hoping by tomorrow.
It don't look like much, but it's our hole.
Constant diarrhea and throwing up...
I don't want to experience that.
We're gonna have to boil it.
[ Buzzing continues ]
Cassidy: Last night was very uncomfortable.
There was tons of mosquitos.
So right now I'm just rubbing mud on my legs
because it makes it less itchy and protects me from the sun.
Our morale is kind of low right now.
Jeremy: I got to get a fire, boil water.
You know, it's day three, and without water,
it's probably gonna be lights out.
Step on that. Don't let it twist on me.
It's trying to twist.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I lost it again.
I'm dehydrated.
Yeah.
I mean, I'm dehydrated big time.
Yeah.
I have got to get water.
I'm gonna go look for green coconuts, okay?
I'm going with you.
No, I really need you to stay here.
I need you to be my partner.
Are you sure about that? I'm sure.
My lips are, like, really dry.
We need to bring your core temperature down.
Just take a dip real quick and then go sit in the shade.
All right.
Good luck. I hope you find me one.
Cassidy: Right now, Jeremy is just dehydrated.
So I'm gonna man up and help my partner out.
It's your lucky day.
It's your lucky day.
Oh, thank you.
Man, I was, like, ready to blow dust out my mouth.
Don't it suck there's so much water
right there in front of us, and we cannot drink it?
[ Laughs ]
Oh, man.
I love coconut so much.
I want to go in the water.
Have fun in that ocean.
Jeremy: I really want water.
I just need to try to get energized a little bit
and keep pushing myself.
[ Coughs ]
Man, that's really rotten.
[ Coughs ]
[ Burps ]
That coconut water just...
[ Retches ]
Man, I'm gonna have to drink that nasty water.
[ Insects buzzing ]
Jeremy: That coconut water's not good.
I need real water from that well.
I got three good attempts in me, okay?
Okay.
Man, we busted our tails digging out the well that we dug,
but if I can't get the fire going
to boil this water, it's probably lights out.
I mean, look at that beautiful smoke.
I believe in you.
[ Groans ]
I think we got a coal.
Beautiful.
Oh, this is the delicate part.
We can't drop this coal.
Look at that. That's beautiful.
Okay, we're not out of the woods.
Don't smother it.
We don't want to smother it.
Just kind of feed it.
Yes!
Whoo-hoo!
[ Laughs ] Ow! Ow!
I need water bad.
Out here, if you want something, you go get it.
You're not going to the water cooler
and hitting the cold side of it.
Whoo!
Lookie there!
Seeing the water come up a little bit...
that was so exciting.
That is so nice. Got to burn all those amoebas out.
I am so happy that we have a fire, we have water.
This is just such a huge moment.
I just couldn't be happier for our progress.
Get you some.
To have a partner like Jeremy...
...who really stepped up today,
it just means so much.
Cassidy: I really need to pee.
Jeremy: You want me to go first?
I don't know how I feel about that.
I'm going.
Oh, man.
[Bleep]
You okay?
[Bleep]
Talk to me.
What is that?
It's a cobra.
Did you see that?
Let's get out of here.
[Bleep]
Oh, my God! Aah!
[ Sighs ]
All right, it's dark. I have no idea what time it is.
Cassidy wants to go to the bathroom.
We thought it would be best to go together
'cause it's dark, and I'm so glad we did.
I noticed something on the ground
that didn't look natural.
I thought it was a piece of kelp.
And what it was was a Philippine cobra.
He's cold right now. I can tell that.
He didn't move real fast.
So I threw a shell at him,
and, sure enough, he started moving.
I am so thankful that we didn't get hurt.
We got to keep these things away 'cause they're here.
Now we're fixing to get some water to drink.
Oh, my God. There's something down there.
Oh, my God.
It's a rat.
Our water is contaminated.
I don't care. We're gonna boil it.
I've got to have something to drink.
Jeremy: Man, this is disgusting.
This is the water that I drink out of.
And then you see the rat, and you think,
"man, that is a food source. That's protein right there."
How can I help?
I'm fixing to give him to you,
and you gonna cut his head off.
Hold on. Let me get the knife. Let me get the knife.
[ Sighs ]
Cassidy: When I saw that rat, my heart broke.
You know, I really dislike killing animals
if I don't have to.
But Jeremy needs food, I need food,
and that's the bottom line.
[ Sighs ]
You want it?
What you think?
Salty.
Salty?
It's like chicken.
Cassidy: So, right now we decided to split up some of our jobs today...
while my partner, Jeremy, collects some bamboo,
I'm gonna build an a-frame shelter.
We want to keep doing stuff during the day,
and we don't want to waste our hours.
So, what you doing?
I'm doing a lattice to make us a mat and some roofing.
I think this could be good insulation
from the ground, and we can sleep on it.
This one's done.
Jeremy: I think it's a pretty good shelter.
Narrator: Cassidy and Jeremy desperately try to stay hydrated
during the rest of their first week on the sun-scorched island.
And their source of well water
continues to be essential to their survival.
Oh, my gosh.
[Bleep]
Our water table seems to be dwindling down.
Oh, man.
It's getting shallower and shallower by the day.
You don't think the water will come up more?
Man, I don't think so.
I'd spent a good bit of time trying to get fire going.
And then I get here, and we have very little water.
Ohh.
It's one thing after another out here.
But without this, you're gonna be a goner quick.
Narrator: On low-lying islands,
the underground water table is affected by tidal pressure.
The level in Cassidy and Jeremy's water well
is dropping because of the changing ocean tides.
Jeremy: It's getting shallower and shallower by the day.
Cassidy: You know, we could cut down a banana tree
and see if water comes to the stump.
There you go. Excellent idea.
Jeremy: We only got a few banana trees,
but if you cut them off down there at the stump,
hollow it out, and the roots will pull water up.
You can't drink that water right away.
This first batch of this water is real bitter-tasting.
We got to empty it out and wait a few hours
and let it fill back up again.
Yeah, you just scoop the first couple waters out of it...
water cups out of it, and then eventually,
you'll get clear, clean, delicious water.
It goes down in there a good ways, too.
[ Sighs ]
How's that feel?
Ohh, that feels so good.
Oh, it's so refreshing.
Every cell in my body just perked up.
It's just been such a great team effort.
You know, throwing in each other's ideas,
and you got that crystal-clear drinking water.
Somebody needs to bottle that up and sell it.
I could use this as a bra.
You want me to make you one?
I promised my dad I would put clothes on.
Did you? Yeah.
He's like, "the first thing you do... you get clothes.
What do you think about bra straps right here?
[ Laughs ] Protection.
Oh, yeah. It's even cleavage-enhancing.
Every little move we make is just tiring.
So for Jeremy to put the effort in for this,
it just makes me feel really good.
Narrator: During their first nine days,
subsisting primarily on coconuts.
While a good source of protein, too much coconut can cause
digestive issues ranging from constipation to severe diarrhea.
Cassidy and Jeremy decide to split up
in their search for a more varied diet.
My body's feeling hunger, tired, stressed, and over-worked.
Jeremy: We're ready to get something to eat.
I don't have the calories in me to do just a simple task.
And I came here to hunt.
[Bleep] There's nothing really to hunt here.
Cassidy: I know there's ground-dwelling birds here
that bury their eggs underneath the dirt.
Whoa!
That's crazy!
Jungle chicken.
Whoo!
Guess what I found?
What did you get?
What the...?
Jungle chickens' eggs.
Gentle.
Check that out.
Lookie there.
Whoo!
That'll work.
Jeremy: Cassidy... she come up with two eggs.
That right there puts you in a good mood.
Cassidy: Jeremy is boiling up the water,
and as soon as it gets to a nice boil, he's gonna...
We gonna poach us an egg.
Those look so delicious. I'm starving.
All right, here it goes.
An embryo. Oh, gross.
I just wanted a chicken egg.
That's it.
Ohh! Yuck!
Jeremy: One of them was an embryo in there kicking.
The other one... it ain't quite such an embryo.
It was disgusting.
I mean, it's like you're so excited, and it's just,
"ugh, now I got to eat this thing."
[ Groans ]
I was hoping for just an egg.
So, that's what our eggs look like.
[ Groans ]
I am craving just plain, old chicken eggs,
not embryo... freaking yuck.
I don't know if I'm gonna eat that.
Let me try.
What do you think of it?
It's disgusting.
Cassidy: I never thought I would ever eat stillborn chicken.
It's just really taking a turn for the worse.
I can't eat this.
[ Animals calling ]
Jeremy: Man, I hate nights.
Come on.
I don't see no smoke on this fire.
What?
Our fire has went out.
Oh, my God.
[ Sighs ]
I just made the mistake of letting the fire go out.
My emotions right now are just...
I mean, they're bottomed out.
We have zero coals, no fire. We lost everything.
Cassidy: We don't have fire, we don't have water.
I'm not sure how far we can go after that.
Jeremy: We down to one coconut
and very little water in banana trees.
So I mean, we're almost completely out of
anything to drink.
Keep it coming.
We can do this.
We've got this.
Good. Okay, keep going!
Come on, let it burn!
[ Breathing heavily ]
Oh [bleep] burning my hands.
It's okay. Take a break.
It don't take much,
and you got to sit down and wait a few minutes.
You got this.
[ Groans ]
Nothing.
[ Sighs ]
Narrator: With no fire to boil the water,
Cassidy returns to their last banana stump to keep
the desperately thirsty team hydrated.
Cassidy: There's a ton of larvae in here.
With nature, it's like a chess game.
You're constantly... nature makes a move,
and then you have to make a counter move.
Right now I'm kind of at a loss of what to do about this water
because now it's no longer drinkable.
Our well is running low.
We just were hit with all these factors.
I'm not really sure how much more of this I can take.
I'm trying to stay positive.
I'm just not sure how much more my body can take.
Jeremy: Yeah, I'm just running.
I mean, I can't even go on that drill over there...
I mean, the bamboo fire saw.
I can't even go on it ...go at it very long.
We can ration out everything we can
and try to make the 21 days
and pray for the best.
Here's the thing, is we don't have water.
Water.
How are we gonna make it?
I just wish we had the resources to make this happen.
Jeremy: My wife, Robin, told me, "don't tap out. You got this."
[Bleep] She told me not to cry.
This is to you, Robin.
I have hit a low.
I don't know what to do.
And I sit here, and I try to figure out,
"what would you say?"
And I know in times in the past, you know,
if I hit a hard part in life, you'd always say,
"you know, if you quit, you gonna regret it."
[ Sniffles ]
And I just wonder if that's what you'd say right now.
[ Sniffles ]
[ Sighs ] I can't hardly talk.
Hold on a minute.
[ Sniffles ]
Narrator: Almost two weeks ago, Cassidy and Jeremy set out
to survive on a deserted island in the Philippines
with primitive survival ratings of 6.1 and 7.3.
The dry and dire conditions have tested Cassidy's resilience.
Oh, my God. It's a rat.
And Jeremy has over-extended himself
trying to provide for his partner.
The raft they need for extraction
is already partly finished,
but with no fire to purify the little water that remains,
they are now questioning
whether they can even survive one more day.
[ Sniffles ]
I think this is the moment that defines true character.
[ Sniffles ]
You want my opinion?
Yeah.
Don't give up.
Don't?
No.
[ Sniffles ]
We can do this.
Cassidy, it's not in me to give up,
and I'm not ready yet.
I mean, the words of my wife just keep echoing in my head...
"don't tap out."
I'm just not ready to throw in the towel.
If you think we can do this, then we can do this.
I do.
As soon as he came to me and he goes, "we're staying,"
I said, "all right, rock on. I'm here with you.
I'm your partner. I'm gonna stay with you.
I'm not gonna leave you here."
Jeremy: One way or another, we're fixing to make fire.
If I got to saw every piece of bamboo on this island,
we're getting fire.
A little bit quicker.
Come on. Come on. Get it hot.
Hot, hot, hot, hot.
Come on. Hot.
I think I got a coal.
What?!
Oh, my God.
[Bleep] Yes.
Oh, finally, we got a [bleep] flame.
[Bleep] We got it.
Whoo!
Think it'll be all right?
Yeah.
[ Sighs ]
Whoo!
Oh, my God.
We came just seconds away from tapping out,
but we pushed through, and we got our fire.
I'm so exhausted.
Tomorrow's a new day.
I see light at the end of the tunnel right there.
We back, baby!
We back! We got fire!
Whoo!
Whoo! Ow! Ow!
I'm gonna go ahead and make a trek to the well,
get us some more water.
I haven't been to the well for a few days.
Oh [bleep]
So I'm hoping the water level in the well's come up a little bit.
I'm just looking forward
to pulling out some fresh drinking water.
[ Sighs ] [Bleep]
Damn well's dried up.
[ Sighs ]
Absolutely no freshwater on this island.
I got bad news.
Cassidy: What's wrong? What?
Ain't no water.
No more water?
Oh, no.
Mm-hmm.
What do we do?
I gave it my best shot, and that was it.
Well, we have to make this decision together.
Do we tap out?
This is the moment of truth.
My mind is willing, but my body's not.
I'm physically spent.
I feel the same way.
We gave it a good shot.
That it?
Let's get the [Bleep] out of here.
Narrator: On day 13, exhausted and dehydrated,
Cassidy and Jeremy inform the production crew
they're tapping out.
When I first came here, I felt like I was strong
and ready to take on this island.
But I learned very quickly that it's not about that.
It's a very, very humbling experience.
One, two, three.
Okay.
Aah! You good?
Yeah, I can do it. I can do it.
I'm done with this island.
It may have got the best of me.
I'm sure some people's gonna give me a hard time
about quitting.
I expect it just as soon as I get back in the states.
I'm not gonna let it bother me.
I'm gonna...
I'm just ready to see my wife and kids.
When I first met Cassidy, we hit it off from the start.
We've become good friends.
We'll stay good friends.
Without each other, we probably wouldn't have got this far.
Cassidy: I came here to learn, and I learned about teamwork.
I had an amazing partner,
who was there with me every step of the way.
We came here together as a team.
And we go out together because that's what a team does.
Narrator: Despite surviving only 13 days in the Philippines,
Jeremy lost a total of 18 pounds.
His determination to care for Cassidy was admirable,
but he ultimately had no defense
for such a brutally dry environment.
It ain't there.
Falling a week short
lowers Jeremy's final PSR from 7.3 to 6.1.
Enduring almost two weeks in the wild,
Cassidy shed a total of nine pounds.
She was there for her partner,
but the harsh conditions of the island
broke her down mentally
well before she could finish the challenge.
This lowers Cassidy's final PSR from 6.1 to 4.9.
A tiny island in the Philippines proved too big a challenge
for two who tried to survive Naked and Afraid.
