yesterday and quite paranoid that something had happened to him.

So I'm going to be keeping a close eye on Ross Kemp,

which is something I've done for a number of years,

and that's why most of my relationships have failed.

I had a real odd night last night

because I felt that

I had just been either recruited

It would appear neither of those things happened,

and I think it raised suspicion against me.

So I will defend myself as best I can, because my children will

not speak to me if I get banished very early on.

Amol was asking a lot of questions, wasn't he, yesterday?

Bella and James are two of the people I'm closest to,

The Traitors trio is now complete.

Right now, I feel like it's a good decision.

Richard has played a crazy game,

He was very coherent in his plea,

and so when he said that he was going to calm the waters

and deflect, I thought, well, he's the man for my survival.

Let me tell you about today's mission.

In this cemetery,

there are ten gold graves with a gold symbol etched on the headstone.

Each gold grave holds £1,000,

but as you might have worked out already,

it isn't just gold that is going to be buried here today.

This morning, I asked you to get into pairs,

and in doing so, you tied your fates.

You will start this mission buried together, inside these coffins.

How long you will be buried there, well, that's another matter.

Last night, the Traitors had a very important decision to make.

They had to choose one player

to have a very special advantage in this mission.

They could have chosen anyone, including themselves.

That chosen player and their partner will not be buried,

unlike the rest of you.

Instead, they will be handed a key and will have a choice.

They can either dig a pair of you up,

or they can dig up gold to add to the prize fund.

Once a grave has been dug up, another key will be discovered

and you'll go through the same dilemma again.

One other tiny detail.

Those that remain in their coffins at the end of the mission

will be up for tonight's murder.

Oh! Oh!

I mean, that made us all take pause.

They could just choose to leave all of us in there,

and therefore all of us would be up for murder that night.

If anybody shouts "haggis" while they are buried,

we will get you out, but it means you and your partner

will both be on the murder shortlist tonight.

And I can now reveal that the player who the Traitors chose

to start the mission above ground,

and therefore be shielded from tonight's murder, is...

We did that. For me, I felt the same about the Shield.

I felt it came so easily and so quickly that I was ecstatic

to receive it, and then wondered whether it was a poisoned chalice.

But could it have been that those two people who got

the Shield at the beginning were the people who were up for recruitment?

Obviously I'm going to say this, I'm not a Traitor,

but I also wrote down when I got back on the first night

that if Julie is a Traitor, she is -

and I put in caps - a "PHENOMENAL ACTRESS"

because I do just...I just don't believe that you are a Traitor.

I think the people vying for Richard, I think

they're using him as a fall guy and a decoy.

and excitement the minute we took off our blindfolds,

I just felt... So that was even before he said he was a Traitor.

There was a marked difference between that and how you...

Well, there are three names that I've heard consistently.

if there are so many comedians, one of them would be a Traitor.

And the second name was Bella...

..because of this hat thing, where you got the hat off the boat

I didn't think twice about it until suddenly when we were

lining up, and you just said, like, "Have you just killed me?"

And I went, "No!" In plain sight. "No, I haven't, no!"

And that's what I was... I think that's what we were all thinking -

it was going to be done in plain sight.You thought you'd

been killed. Yeah.and then you were saved, and then today you were

the man above ground and I was like,

"That's odd," and I was like, "Maybe that's just

"cos he's physically very strong," and that it was a smart move.

But I was... I thought that... I was like, "Oh, Ross has been recruited!"

And maybe one of those was the selection for you

to lead the challenge. Yeah.

there was nothing...there's nothing that came from him,

apart from, "Let's prioritise getting everyone out

"and then we think about the money afterwards," and at no point,

at no point did he even try to argue anything against that.

because you hugged everybody when you came to the church.

You were then voted instantly most trustworthy.

Nothing could be a better front.

so you are the three people that could be possible Traitors.

I think that, um, it is really telling that Amol's the first to go.

I think he would have the Traitors running terrified of him,

and I think it's very telling that, er, their first kill is the person

who was ultimately the biggest threat.

I think if the Traitors were sitting here feeling confident, feeling

relaxed, feeling capable, they would have done something else, right?

They would have gone for somebody at random.

They would have done something that would have thrown

the cat among the pigeons and made us all really sit up

and be scared, but it was such an obvious choice.

And then I think, secondly, following that up with giving Ross

the lead in our mission today, is, again,

it is the most obvious choice, which ultimately proved to be

a terrible choice, because you saved almost all of the Faithfuls!

So I think that what we are looking for here are Traitors

who do not feel comfortable, who are not sort of cocksure,

who are not strategic and bluffing and double-bluffing.

They are people who are picking the most obvious options.

Perhaps the sort of people that,

when they're told they're a Traitor, say, "I'm a Traitor."

was when you found out you wasn't picked, cos you're a Faithful,

Most people, when they're disappointed,

don't immediately have hope. That comes later, for me.

He was hopeful he would be chosen later.

I too was desperate to be a Traitor, so desperate,

and I think that's why we clicked kind of right away. Yeah.

I had spent weeks and weeks and weeks deciding how I was going

to be a Traitor and convince people that I'm not my TV character,

who would be an amazing Traitor,

but I didn't once consider how I was going to be a Faithful.

I don't know, I was crashing out.

I'd done a lot of thinking, as well, about, like, how I'd do exactly

what you're talking about, and... and how I'd play it as a Traitor.

And both of you have said almost identical things,

like, lines that I'd had in my head that I would have said,

such as the, like, "Oh, I'm just really disappointed" thing,

cos it was a great way of, like, deflecting.

Don't you think that it would be way too obvious?
