And I wanted to say that

I grew up around a lot of guys

who look and sound like you.

And so I thought it was important that I let you know

that tonight, um, not only did, like,

the 38-year-old lawyer who sits in front of you today

feel like you had his back,

but the 14-year-old lonely gay kid

on Long Island felt like you had his back.

So I just wanted to let you know

how important that was for me tonight,

um, because it felt really wonderful.

It's harder emotionally

that threw my name out, it could have

gone completely different.

because today's mission is really rather simple.

Deathly simple, in fact.

[ominous music]

Now, behind me are two carts

stacked with barrels of gold--

$24,000 worth of gold, to be precise.

[cheers and applause]

All you have to do is

take this gold and follow this path

all the way to the end of the track,

where I will await you.

However, blocking your path are a series of gates.

It's up to you to work out how to open them,

and you'll need to do that quickly.

[ominous pounding] Do you hear that?

That is the sound of the death parade.

- It's gonna chase us.

- Any one of you the death parade catches up with

will be put on a short list for tonight's murder.

- Nah, man.

- There is only one way to vanquish the death parade,

and that is to get to the end of the track

and ignite a line of fire across the path.

This halts the parade, completes the mission,

and banks any money you have successfully carried.

- I'm just thinking back to, like, Latin in sixth grade.

I can see the death people behind us,

and so I kind of went into go mode, and I was like,

we gotta get out of here.

- What does that say?

- Meurtre. That's murder.

- That's gotta be one. - Assassin.

I think that's four right there.

- Who's staying?

- I'll--I'll stay.

It is part of my strategy to stay here right now

because I want them to believe that I'm a team player

and I'm there for them.

The chaos that I'm causing

is actually causing chaos for everybody.

Now, the problem is, my relationships

with these people is now at tipping point.

who he thinks the Traitors are.

And so I was like, huh.

I have big concerns about Jay, but he's a physician,

and I know based off his career that he's a really smart guy.

So I think that Katie theory holds a little bit of water.

A broken clock is right twice a day.

It's like--it's again where I just feel

like he's just so all over.

He's playing a selfish game.

He's had room to, like, come up with something.

- Yeah, I just--I worry that everyone's gonna focus

on his chaos and getting him out

rather than getting out someone

who we really think is a Traitor.

- I think a lot of times, like, in the mission,

I don't know if you mean to, but you cause a lot of chaos.

- I apologize profusely.

I think that people could be persuaded to think it's me.

So right now, my plan is to protect Katie.

And this time, I plan on keeping cool, calm, collected.

This is the time in the game to make the move.

I truly believe that she's a Traitor.

Truth is the tenet on which this roundtable is built.

The truth is a nettle that must be grasped

with conviction or not at all.
