which closed in 1958,

which closed in 1980.

The treasured silver ore was refined in the mill, so it was

a magnet for murderous rage.

The victims of that rage ended up in the Pioche Hospital.

And there's something else about this hospital that is

truly unique, and it has to do with semen.

a much darker energy.

a strange electronic tone.

Like a thing you would hear in a hospital.

[Zak] A hospital call button is a sign of distress.

It's not hard to imagine the patients desperately

signaling for help

from Dr. Fortier's depraved experiments.

the pleading call button tones continue.

[Zak] We head upstairs and suddenly capture

the first voice we've heard.

Aaron, have you been taking Polaroids?

-[Aaron] Dude, I've taken too many. -[Zak] Good.

-[spirit] Hell is. -[Zak] Whoa.

[Aaron] "Hell is."

[Zak] What the [bleep] was that?

Did you [bleep] hear that, Aaron?

I heard something. I heard that.

As we move through the ground floor level, we capture another

call button sound.

And then this.

[spirit] Expecting us.

-[Billy] What'd that say? -[Jay] Expecting us?

[Zak] Oh, my God.

Yeah, huge spike just now.

[Zak] After an explosive preliminary investigation at the hospital,

we move to our next location.

This is known as the Pioche Consolidated Mill.

This was opened in 1891. It is completely abandoned.

The consolidated mill,

which burned to the ground twice,

processed the huge quantities of silver ore that

turned Pioche into a hotbed of savagery.

What we're doing here is, it's going a little darker.

At the hospital, we're trying to help spirits.

Here, we're trying to document a terrifying entity.

There are reports that somebody, we're gonna meet with them,

has witnessed a demonic-type entity that

resides on these grounds.

So right now, we are...what's wrong?

[Marie] We're gonna try and break in this way.

I've never met you before and all she storms into

our camera circle here and says,

[Zak] Marie Mason was exploring the mill when she saw

something truly horrifying.

It's in the firmatory area where there's these, like, ovens.

They look like you'd put bodies in.

It was a man, a full apparition face.

And then you could actually see the eyes.

But what scares me the most is that one of the eyes looks

like it's vertical, like a -- like a reptilian.

And you saw that so close in detail that it looked like

his eyes were reptilian? -Yes.

[Billy] That's scary.

[Zak] In our experience, an entity with reptilian eyes

is most likely demonic

and dangerous.

So later they choked me and I had to leave.

maze-like structure where every step feels

[Zak] Is there somebody down there?

but it looks like a person.

Could this all be evidence of the spirit of someone who was

thrown into the giant rock-crushing equipment

in the lawless past of Pioche?

There was no accountability back then.

[Zak] We split up in order to access the area

where Marie saw movement.

Jay tries to climb down directly into the area.

Billy goes to get more gear, and everyone else looks for

an entry point from the outside.

Considering we seem to be dealing with a demonic entity,

what happens next is extra concerning.

In the dark, it would be very easy to fall into one of

the many jagged metal pits in this mill.

So the fact that Jay isn't responding is

extremely unsettling. But then we hear his voice.

-[Jay] Hey, guys. -[Zak] Jay?

[Marie] Oh, I heard something. Oh, [bleep].

-[Zak] Jay? -[Billy] What the [bleep]?

-[Jay] Yeah? -[Zak] Where are you?

[Marie] Oh, my God.

[Zak] Oh, what the [bleep] are you doing up there?

I...[exhales heavily]. Oh, God.

[Zak] Jay is confused and disoriented,

just as we were outside.

He doesn't remember how he got on top of this high wall,

but he does remember hearing something unnatural.

I heard something running up. You should be able to hear it.

Full-on footsteps on the other side.

Something was in there.

-Like... -[Marie] Oh, my God.

I swear to anything, there was something in there.

[Zak] If something sinister is trying to distract us from

the spot where Marie saw the reptilian figure,

it is not going to work.

Oh, my God.

Marie saw the terrifying, slit-eyed figure inside one of

these high-heat incinerators.

[Marie] The amount of temperature, I mean,

a body would go in a second.

[Zak] Yeah, you wanna get rid of somebody.

I mean, anything could have happened here.

[Zak] You have to ask yourself, did the demon influence the killing,

or did the killing bring out the demon?

Billy descends into the vast expanse below the incinerators

with the forensic camera, which sees into

the ultraviolet spectrum.

Aaron follows until something makes contact.

[Aaron] I feel like something touched me.

Something just touched my hand.

Like, I thought you were behind me.

[Zak] The energy around these incinerators is much

darker than anywhere else we've been in the mill.

There is some about this environment

that is not of our world.

I take more photos with the FLIR thermal imaging

camera, which captures the heat signature of a living being in

red and orange hues and that of a nonliving entity in blues.

Well, that's really weird. It's just weird.

I thought I saw something, like, white.

I did. It was like a light.

-It went from the top. -Yeah.

Yeah.

[Zak] I saw something white in front of you.

Then it was gone.

[Zak] Day two arrives, and we ask Pioche Hospital owner Megan

to join us for a review of the jaw-dropping evidence

we have already captured.

I think it's the first time that we've had

We were in the hospital running this ITC device for close to

an hour, and there was only three voices that came through.

But there was intelligence, because what they were saying

And now it's like another spirit.

It's actually terrifying when you think about it.

Like, your thermal caught something we can't see

ever seen anything like this before.

[Zak] OK, right now, we are starting our investigation in Pioche.

Aaron, Jay, and myself are gonna start here at

the Pioche Hospital.

We collected some incredible, absolutely incredible audio,

intelligent evidence inside this building.

We heard them.

Now, we're gonna try to see if we can see them.

While we investigate the hospital, Billy and Jeff

are preparing to investigate the old mill where we captured

what appears to be some type of reptilian creature

on thermal imaging camera.

Is this the same reptilian figure that this lady explained

to us earlier?

One of the eyes looks like it's vertical,

to the area where we captured that thermal image

on the FLIR still camera. Are you ready?

[Zak] So the best bet that we have now is we've heard the spirits,

and I wanna see if we can use this technology that uses

millions of tiny little infrared lasers to

scan the atmosphere, the environment,

and create a 3D map.

And we've had a lot of luck with this XLS version,

which does not give us any false positives.

It's extremely accurate.

We use this on many investigations, and many times

you don't get anything for hours using it.

So when this detects a figure, there is something there.

There is something there.

As I lead the way down the hall, I freeze in my tracks

in front of this patient room, because I think I'm starting to

hear a woman cry.

where Marie saw the face of the reptilian entity,

starts spiking for no explainable reason.

and as he places it inside the furnace opening where

the woman saw the reptilian face, he receives this.
