There's a married couple that bought this property a few years ago.

However, there are some things going on inside

So they're currently residing in an RV in the parking lot.

And what's interesting about this place

is not just the dark forces,

but what's located underneath.

Below this massive structure are enormous hot springs.

These geothermal hot springs offer magical healing qualities to humans.

Which is why so many flocked here during its height.

But that magical water has a great darkness,

[Zak] Now that Aaron has emerged safely from the rapids,

it is time for all of us to submerge ourselves

into this massive ominous property

wrought with darkness and mystery.

The two people that live here is Lawrence and Dana.

So this is the old River Inn.

Originally in 1884, a guy named Sumner Lee Laughton,

bought this site, and he lived on this property

and built it into Laughton's Hot Springs.

So back 140 years ago,

when this place become a resort,

they say it was absolutely plagued by bad luck and death.

There was medical emergencies, accidents, drownings,

and even, they say, a mob hit.

This place has connections to the mafia.

And it's said, that there are additional bodies that have been found here.

Having the knowledge that underneath my feet

flows a compelling amount of powerful supernatural fuel,

intensifies what we're going to learn about this ominous property.

You both bought this property back in '20?

So when we first bought The River Inn,

I was over by the staircase.

I looked over towards the hallway.

And I saw a man standing there.

Dark pants, suspenders, and a white shirt.

I don't recall seeing a very clear face on him.

And he looked straight at me.

And the man shook his head at me,

like he was not happy that we were here.

He turned around and then went back down the hallway.

There's something about the property,

that has this really strange energy.

There's a great overarching darkness

that we can't escape at this property.

We've had caretakers,

and certain ones tend to almost

feel like they own the property,

There is some negative energy in this property that needs to get released.

And they even knew the girls that were shot.

And supposedly, they are still wandering on that side.

An old caretaker lived there.

So when he was dying,

every five minutes, he would ask for a glass of water.

His name is Ray.

One of our workers, we were clearing out--

And he looked around, nobody was there.

to desperately help Dana and Lawrence,

and to find out if this building contains entities

that are simply too dangerous to live with inside.

They bought this place as their dream home.

Because of the size and scope of this massive geomagnetic location,

fueled by the rushing river and hot springs, located under the building,

the guys and I will split up and gather as much information as we can.

I meet with Cindy and Robin, friends of the owners

And both of us, kind of saw something at the end of the hallway.

It was... It was almost like a shadow-type thing coming around the corner.

And I said something like, "I think I see you."

And I took a couple of steps.

And this orb came at my face.

Came at me, flying at me.

To literally, where I almost fell over backwards

-and it split into three in my face. -What?

-[Cindy] Yeah. -So there's two different people that witnessed this?

For no reason, I quickly go to the grand staircase, as if I was guided there.

And at that same time, Billy starts picking up on some abnormal EMF spikes.

While investigating the staircase,

I receive a surprising text message.

who states she's had this ability

Aaron takes pictures with his full spectrum camera

and captures something truly shocking.

-Beverly. Look at this. -Yes?

-What? -He took a picture of me.

What is... What is that black...

-[Beverly] That is... -The blackness over on top.

[Beverly] It's like a black cloud.

See, I told you, he was possessed.

[man] Zak, what'd you say you said was over me and Aaron?

Then to see this black, unexplained mass over my head

on the full spectrum photo.

Then, in a sequential photo, the black mass is gone.

Continuing to investigate The River Inn,

the information and experiences

keep getting more and more intense.

I asked Beverly to investigate the hallway,

where Cindy and Robin said they saw an orb fly towards them.

As I race to help Beverly, she slowly regains herself.

And as she stands, she exposes some type of injury on her midsection

that, she claims, is where the entity hit her.

Could Beverly's injury have been caused

by the same spirit that attacked Cindy and Robin?

and later sends us this text from the hospital.

Stating her doctor has arranged a CT scan to see the damage caused

by what she claims to be from a spirit punching her.

Billy calls me over to review an ultraviolet photo he took on the first floor.

When I was taking UV photos downstairs...

-I captured something very similar to this photo before. -[Zak] Right.

This is... This is the staircase coming down.

If you'll notice this little gray pipe that's hanging down,

look right there, beyond that.

is behind that gray pipe or whatever it is.

often associated with negative entities.

[Zak] Aaron continues to struggle with the plumber coil cam.

[Aaron] It's meant to go in like a pipe.

[Zak] And unfortunately, he gets frustrated and gives up.

I can't get anywhere with this. Nothing... I can't...

[Zak] I don't think Aaron realized the hole was big enough

to just put his handheld camera through.

we observe it has a strange, static-energy-type appearance,

almost as if it's electrified.

This is extraordinary.

As I'm aiming my thermal camera

at the old elevator door,

I capture what appears to be a partial figure

that looks like it's trying to step out.

The photos I take sequentially show nothing in them,

except for the empty door.

[Billy] Okay. It's... just a door.

-[Zak] There's nothing flapping or anything, right? -[Billy] No.

-[Zak] It's clear, right? -[Billy] Yep.

-[Zak] Show that it's clear! -[Billy] It's clear.

[Zak] I immediately have Billy show

that the entire area around the elevator

is clear from any flying debris

or anything hanging down,

and the door never opened.

Look at this, dude. Are you kidding me right now?

[Billy] Hey, the door's not open, Zak.

-It's just an elevator door. -[Zak] I know, dude. Hold on, hold on, hold on.

Billy, we got something, dude.

This might be one of the best [bleep] visual captures ever!

After the pure shock wears off,

Billy and I continue to investigate up here,

but get no further evidence

of what we strongly believe

to be an apparition captured on thermal.

This will go in the books

for my top five most terrifying

yet incredible investigations

that we have ever had.

And the evidence is incredible.
