- Let's go. - Come on.
Oh, man. This is chaos.
It's the open era of Survivor.
Previously on Survivor...
โช Yo-ho! โช
So, what's the secret word
of the day? Immunity!
Eric, he just hit the ground running too hard.
A lot of people think Eric's annoying.
Gina!
Let's go.
Exile Island.
This is a penitentiary.
Bro,
we are literally so similar but so different.
Mm-hmm.
Brady-- I'm feeling
really good about him.
- I can get her tonight, and I probably will. - Okay.
Me and Brady are now wanting two different things.
First person voted out of Survivor 51-- Aaliyah.
The tribe has spoken.
I know that, like, absolutely sucked,
but I appreciate you guys, and...
like, no hard feelings, obviously. Really, like...
I literally feel
like I had a near-death experience at Tribal.
So to be here now, I'm so happy.
They let me survive,
and now I'm gonna survive.
You took that Tribal Council
to a whole new level, you know what I mean?
I-I don't think I'm too honest.
I just think I'm-- I am who I am and I'll be who I am.
Brady and I were on opposite sides of the vote.
Him voting for Aaliyah, me voting for Jenna.
The battle for whose girl is staying,
whose girl is going out.
In this corner, we have
the Brody.
And in this corner, we have
the devilish Devin.
But I knew leaving Tribal, though, no matter what,
he and I were still good.
I feel like this is a part of Survivor that, like,
we're breaking a barrier. We're the new era or whatever.
Open era. You know what I mean?
I don't think you have to vote together
to be together in the open era.
My whole thing now
is weaponized honesty.
We told each other the truth about what we were doing.
So when we came back, we didn't feel deceived.
We didn't feel blindsided.
We didn't feel lied to.
Brady and I are so good.
Oh, my God. My ankle.
Hello?
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God. You're alive, brody.
- What's up, brother? - Oh, my God!
How have you been?
Oh, my God.
Holy
shish-gapoley.
These are people in the game.
I'm joining a tribe, and now I have to tell them
the story of where I've been.
And I'm hoping they believe me.
It was like an hour-and-a-half hike.
- Oh, my God. Up. - Up a mountain.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Down a mountain.
Lewis walks in,
and he's saying he was on Exile.
So that means Exile's in play this season.
That's a surprise, and that's really fun.
There is a...
a ship mast.
Jeff says, "Up there is your advantage."
And then he whips out a little handheld axe.
No.
I was a good 90% through the wood
when the timer went out.
So I didn't get it.
I have a supernatural
ability to tell when people are lying.
I think Lewis absolutely has an advantage.
So maybe he's got to go,
because Lewis's story is kind of a lot of baloney.
A crab? Grab it.
Yes. Oh, get him.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Look at that.
Yeah, so don't hurt me.
- Okay. - That is a big one.
That's a big one. Oh, my gosh.
Give it to Eric.
No, I don't want to...
It's like a, it's like a sea spider.
You and me?
Like, you know?
I'll tell you what I hear when it gets to, like, that time.
When it gets, like...
No. Everyone's just saying you're quiet.
- Yeah. - That's funny. I feel like I've tried to talk to people.
I think other people are quiet, too.
Ana and I had a great,
like, connection.
Both of us are Iranian.
And so there is, like, sort of something
that tugs on my heartstrings, like, "Oh."
Like, "My Persian sister."
No.
She is strategic, I think.
- The woman is smart. - Yeah.
And I admire her.
- Yeah... - Very much.
But...
Yeah.
To be honest,
it wasn't exactly a plan to target Sharonda and Linnea.
I wanted to just have other names out there
just to start causing a little bit of a rift in our tribe
and cause a little chaos.
So I went to Carter and I told Carter everything.
She's really smart.
She's just, like, too, like,
with the wind.
She just kind of floats.
I don't think she understands how to play.
Hey.
We're talking about popcorn.
I used to go to the movies all the time.
Yeah, me, too.
Like, I'd go, like, once a week, kind of thing.
And I like to get, like,
a large popcorn with, like, extra butter.
Not a medium?
Alexis comes over,
and my goofy bum says,
"We're talking about popcorn."
Popcorn was the only thing in my head.
It was the only thing that came out.
That was so awkward.
Popcorn?
Can you stop? I don't know why.
I thought it was gonna be like,
"Hey, in case we merge tonight or something..."
- Shut up. I know. - Popcorn?
I ... up. I made a mistake.
My goal was to have an alliance with Ana,
but she was talking about me.
And then she, like,
straightened up and was like,
"We were just talking about popcorn."
I don't really feel like I can trust Ana moving forward.
And she mentioned Sharonda and Linnea.
So in my mind, I'm thinking it's time
to let word spread that Ana's throwing out
names like crazy, trying to create chaos.
I'm like, "Really?
You, like, know that we're, like, besties."
- In a good way or bad way? - I don't know.
Like, I think she was just trying to be like,
"Do you think she's strategic?"
Alexis told me that
Ana threw out my name,
and it was upsetting.
She said she wanted her out.
She thought she was really smart.
If we told Sharonda that Ana was...
- 100%. - ...then Sharonda would be on board.
- Agree. - Yeah.
So far, the only strategist, sus strategist is Ana.
And it's rubbing people the wrong way.
Alexis just told me that Ana said that if there's a vote--
if we need to go to Tribal,
Ana said that she doesn't want to do Eric
and she would want to do either of us.
'Cause we're smart and strategic.
Just so you know.
Noted.
- Noted. - So if she's gunning for us, then I'm gunning for her.
You know,
Eric was an easy target at first.
A lot of people don't like him right now.
He wants to be
the center of attention all the time,
and it's annoying.
But this morning
Linnea comes up to me and she says, "Hey, by the way,
"Ana threw both our names out
because she thinks we're too smart."
That's how you know who's, like, playing hard.
I don't know if Ana's just, like,
impressed by me or if she's gunning for me.
But either way, I don't want somebody like that around.
Brady, would you slice open one more?
Yes, brodies.
Chug, chug, chug, chug.
Keg stand.
Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh.
Coming to this tribe
three days into the game
with all these people who have already
bonded and connected
and been through a Tribal Council,
it's pretty scary.
So I moved to America
- in early '22. - Mm-hmm.
- And then in 20... - Is your wife from Ireland as well?
- She's, uh, Puerto Rican. - Oh, okay.
My wife and I
moved to Puerto Rico and started a farm there.
And so I'm used to dealing with uncertainty.
You have a farm?
I hate-- It's so much work.
It is, like, it's a lot of work.
At this point,
I don't have a Buff.
I haven't been initiated
into this tribe yet, and so
I can acknowledge I'm at a total disadvantage.
Nice. Got it.
Yeah, keep going. Keep going.
Yeah.
Crushed it.
Are you okay?
Oh, my God.
Whoo!
Oh, God.
I don't know. I think he was chopping the wood.
Damn it, that was stupid.
Brody, it's bad.
- It's bad. - My first thought is,
"..., is this guy okay?"
It seemed like a very serious injury.
I just screwed myself out of the game.
What was I thinking?
Immediately, he starts
asking if he's gonna be done in the game.
Have you seen this happen before?
And did he stay in the game?
He has amazingly little care for the injury itself
and an amazing amount of care for:
is he gonna be pulled from the game?
What the ... did I think?
Like, I was splitting the wood with an axe,
holding my finger, like...
How big is it?
I'm missing a quarter of my thumb.
There it is. There's my thumb.
I need my shoes.
My God, you got your hand?
Honestly, I don't know
how he's not, like, screaming out in pain,
but it is, like, looking bad.
Bad, bad, bad.
Dude. Ah!
I knew I was gonna do something stupid like this.
But it's-it's Brody, you know what I mean?
I'm just-- I'm a, I'm an airhead blond sometimes,
as smart as I can be.
Brady is just freaking out.
Expletives all over the place.
I'm fine.
I'll hit some push-ups right...
- No, don't... - No, no, no, no, no.
Blood. Your blood.
I'm just trying to calm Brady down
and also holding
a portion of his thumb...
...in a little shell.
It was an experience
unlike any other.
- I just want 'em to let me stay. - I know, I know.
I've always been my own worst enemy.
And it's always come down to me not,
like, thinking.
Like, using the brain I've been blessed with.
I looked at that hunk of meat.
I mean, it's huge.
And I'm like, "He's out."
There's no way he's gonna stay in this game.
Tell me what happened. Talk me through it.
Just splitting some wood to get to the dry center with the axe.
Had a little corner of my thumb, that little corner right there,
and I just lopped it off.
And I-I truly feel like I can still compete,
and hopefully we can do something.
- Yeah. - 'Cause, like...
- I mean... - No, don't worry. It's-it's stressful.
What are you worried about at the minute?
I just don't want to be an idiot who lopped off his thumb
and lost the biggest opportunity of his life.
My biggest fear is that Doc's gonna pull me from this game.
And, uh, that took me into, like, this deep hole of, like...
...thinking I'm a failure.
You're a real person.
Damn it, dude.
Come on, let's have a look at this and see what we can do.
I really am thinking Brady's out of the game.
And then what are we gonna do when he's gone?
Are we the disaster tribe?
You know, your biggest guy gets medevaced, and you're cooked.
Give me a feeling because I'm mentally losing it right now.
I completely understand that.
So, can I please have some type of thought?
And we'll give you some antibiotics
to prevent any infection.
And we'll get you ready for the challenge.
- How do you feel about that? - If you... I would kiss you.
When Doc told me I get to stay in this game,
it was like new life.
Sure, it's a little numb, but I can touch all the fingers.
I can touch the far end.
I can clap.
I can, I can grab.
Sure, brody, pain-pain exists,
but I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all.
- Can you do one thing for me? - What's that?
Yeah. Yeah, just be like,
be like, "Hey, Jeff, you know,
he's an idiot, but he's a go-getter."
Doc takes my thumb, puts it in that plastic bag, and then
sticks it in his pocket.
It was one of the weirdest
exchanges of my life
but one of the best exchanges of my life
because at the end of it,
I got to know I get to stay in this game.
Come on in!
Oh, yeah, let's go.
- Wow. - Look at this.
This is crazy.
Come on in, Savu.
Oh, my goodness.
Savu getting your first look at the new Toka tribe.
Aaliyah voted out...
...at the first Tribal Council.
And Lewis joins Toka
as the newest tribe member.
Sweet Lew.
Welcome to the party, baby. Welcome to the party.
All right. Shall we get to today's reward challenge?
Yeah!
All right, for today's challenge,
both tribes are gonna divide into pairs.
One person in each pair will be blindfolded.
The other person will lead the blindfolded tribe member
over a hinged ramp and then through a net obstacle.
Then two blindfolded tribe members
will work together to unwind rope from a log,
releasing three sandbags.
Finally, three tribe members
will connect pieces of pole
and attempt to hang those sandbags on a hook.
- First tribe to finish wins reward. - Wow.
- Want to know what you're playing for? - Yeah!
- You show it, buddy. - A little bit of comfort
goes a long way out here.
We got pillows, a tarp, two mats and a hammock.
Oh, the hammock!
Worth playing for?
Yeah!
All right, give you a minute to strategize.
We'll get it on. Let's go.
Come on.
All right.
Here we go.
For reward.
Survivors ready.
Go!
Keep your weight back. Keep your weight back.
This first phase is three pairs.
They got to get over this hinged ramp.
You got to get to your mat.
- Come here. - Come on.
Go, Savu.
Go, Toka.
Come on, come on, come on, come on.
Now the next two pairs are coming out.
Come on, come on, come on, come on.
Lay back. Sit. Sit on it.
There goes Toka.
Big falls for Mike.
We're going down.
Oh, my ankle.
Kristin with a big fall.
- My ankle. - I got you.
Got to get everybody to the mat.
Great job.
Yeah, I think it's my foot, actually.
You're good, Toka.
First pair, go.
You're good, Savu.
First pair, go.
Up we go.
Devin taking a lead role for Toka.
Lewis getting his first taste of a challenge.
- Follow behind me. - Linnea taking a lead role
for Savu.
Eric behind her.
Moving forward. Keep going.
Keep going.
- You guys got to stand. - Stand up!
- Okay. - Stand up, Eric.
We're about to come to an opening.
It's gonna fall. You're gonna drop.
A lot of communication for that blindfolded tribe member.
- Good, yes. - Lewis has got to get there.
You're good. Go, Toka.
Gonna be Maggie and Patt now.
Linnea has taken a long time to get through this.
You got it. Just hold on to the side.
You got to help him out!
She's got to help him out.
- What is she doing? - That's why I wanted her blindfolded.
Here comes Maggie whipping through it.
Patt is blindfolded. She's moving.
Keep going, guys, you're doing great.
Savu has fallen behind.
You're good. Go, Savu.
Follow me, take your time. Take your time.
- I'm grabbing you. - Okay.
Very hard to do this blindfolded.
Up, up, up, up, up. Up, up, up.
Out of balance.
You don't know what's coming next.
- You don't know how far you are in this. - Step.
- Keep going. - Grab my shirt...
Savu working to get back in this.
Keep coming. Come on, come on, come on...
Rob doing a nice job.
Made up a lot of time for Savu.
- Let's go. - Go, Toka.
- Here comes Mike with Jelly. - Get up, get up.
Get on the mat!
Go, Savu!
Okay, ready? Just follow me.
Here comes Carter with Ana for Savu.
Here we go, Jelly.
We are very close right now.
Go, Savu! Go, Toka!
Ah. Hold on to me.
- Hold on to me. Come on... - I'm sorry. My foot...
Sharonda leaves her partner behind.
High knees, baby.
Here comes Brady and Kilby for Toka.
- We're close. - Kilby.
- You good? - Come on, Kristin.
You got to pick it up.
He's laying down. Get up, baby.
- Pull yourself up. - Don't lose him. Don't lose him.
Brady's saying, "Hang on."
Yeah. Yeah. Nice job.
He's dragging him to the mat.
We're here.
You're good. Start on the log.
To left, left, left, left.
It's right in front of you.
- Left. Left. - It's right in front of you. Go down.
- Yes. Right there. - Left.
Two players blindfolded.
Patt and Lewis.
You got to get all the rope to free
all three sandbags.
Come on, come on.
Hold my pants and my shirt.
Sharonda's still trying to get there with Kristin.
Savu has lost time.
Get to the mat. Get to the mat.
Got to get to the mat.
- Sorry. Sorry, guys. - You're good, Savu!
To your left, to your left, to your left!
- To your left! - Alexis and Cristian.
- Back! - Turn around! 180!
180!
- Okay, turn. - There you go.
- It's gonna go over. - Good job.
- Pull it through. - This challenge could be
won or lost right here.
You got this. Good job.
Let go. Pull, pull, pull.
You want that comfort.
You want to go back to camp
with those pillows and that hammock.
Pull it out...
Toka has their second sandbag.
Savu working on their second sandbag.
- One left, one left! - Keep pulling!
We are very close right now.
Pull!
Both pairs working
for that third sandbag.
You guys are catching up to them.
- Catching up. You're catching up. - Done!
Toka has their third sandbag.
Go.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Savu has their third sandbag.
Get that thing on the table.
Come on, good job, good job, good job.
- It's gonna be Maggie first for Toka. - Good job, honey.
Carter for Savu.
- Don't let her beat you. - Come on, Carter.
Now you're gonna build a pole
that is long enough to hook that sandbag.
- You got to make it tall. - I know.
- You think four will do? - Yeah, I think four is good.
Hey, make sure the hook is up.
Maggie gonna give it a go for Toka.
- Oh, you lost a thing. - Does she have enough?
Didn't lose the ring.
You need more pole.
I may need more-- Oh, I lost pole.
She's gonna need more pole. Not enough.
You got it, baby!
Carter going for that lowest sandbag first.
Tiptoe, tiptoe!
Carter's got enough, and he's hooked it.
There's one.
Savu is now in the lead.
Here comes Rob.
Rob's in now for Savu.
- Maggie, grab it from the bottom. - You got it, Maggie. Let's go.
Oh, my gosh.
Maggie really struggling out of the gate.
- Did someone want to step in? - Okay, I'll go.
- I'm sorry. - Let's go.
Devin gonna take over for Maggie.
Rob gives it a go.
Bring it a little towards me.
The hook is down. Bring it back down, put the ring up.
That's not gonna work.
Lean it to the right.
- It's on. - Amazing.
Devin very quickly hooks it.
We are tied now.
- Yes, like that. Yeah. - Rob gonna readjust.
Got to get that ring in the right spot
so that it will land on that hook.
Yes. You're so close. Yes.
And he's got it!
Savu with two, looking for one more.
Hold the bottom. Hold the bottom.
Toka could be right back in it
if Lewis can hook this right now.
And he can't.
Lewis drops.
Here goes Ori for the win.
Go back up. Yes.
He is very close.
No, it drops.
The door is open for Toka once again!
And he's got it. Lewis has it. Let's go.
- Lewis! - Here comes Jelly.
We are tied now.
Ori drops again. Ori is struggling.
Okay, who wants to sub in?
- Go. Let's go. - And he's now out.
Yeah, Cristian, you got it.
Cristian ready for the task.
Quickly starts to put his pole together.
Ice in the veins.
We are dead even right now in this reward challenge.
That looks great, Cristian.
This is it.
It's Cristian.
He's gonna go for it.
Does he have enough pole?
Cristian, very close.
Can he do it?
- That's it, you're right on it! - Yeah, you got it.
Whoa, stop, stop.
And he drops.
- It's okay. It's okay. - What a challenge.
Back and forth.
All right, Jelly, you got this.
Jelly-- does she have enough?
No, she's gonna add more.
You got one more.
Very dangerous when you're balancing it like that.
Okay.
But Jelly did an incredible job.
Cristian going back again.
Yeah, Cristian, you got it.
This would be a big comeback for Toka.
You got it, Jelly.
This is gonna come down to seconds.
Jelly for the win.
And she's got it!
Toka wins reward.
Their first win of the season.
You! You! You!
- Wow, what a challenge. - You!
You!
Let's go!
Toka, congratulations.
- Nice win. - Whoo!
Waiting for you back at camp,
you've got the tarp, you've got the mats,
you've got the hammock,
and you've got the pillows.
Grab your stuff. Head out.
Congratulations.
All right, Savu, got nothing for you.
Grab your stuff. Head back to camp.
- Thanks, Jeff. - Thanks, Jeff.
During the challenge,
I went down and my foot caught in the net.
And we have some kind of a problem.
I don't know to what extent.
What happened?
I went down, and my foot went under me.
And then my body went on top of it
- as it did that. - Oh!
Then I heard crunchy, crunch, crunch, nasty, nasty.
I'm guessing
either I've ... ripped some tendons
or I've broken some bones.
Tendons, ligaments or bones.
Or, you know, a bad sprain that's like a lower sprain.
- Yeah. - That's better than an upper sprain.
'Cause my ankle's fine. It's actually, like,
the side of my foot is where it's swollen
and where it really, really hurts.
I need the herbs
on that stump, and we're gonna make a little poultice
- and put it on my foot. - I love it...
As a crisis manager, I am also a preparer,
and I know what plants are here medicinally.
And there's an herb on the beach--
we've been using it for people's throats,
for diarrhea issues,
and you can break it up and, like, strap it
to bruises, which I've been doing.
It is emotional because this has been a very long dream.
I have been applying to Survivor for 26 years.
So I will stay in this game, no matter what.
Hard stop.
Question.
To me-- and I was blindfolded--
the first thing was okay. The second thing,
was that just chaos for everyone?
Was I chaotic in there?
Yeah.
I just want that explanation 'cause in my mind
that was ludicrous,
because this guy is, no offense, you're about 215.
210?
All right, 190-- You're a big guy compared to her.
- She's like half your size. - Yeah.
- So how are you dragging his ass? - Wow.
I already have some issues right now with Linnea.
Like, why would you let
Eric be blindfolded
when he's double the size of you?
If you have to drag him along at any point,
you're not gonna be able to do that.
- I don't think it worked today at all. - First of all,
we didn't drag, and we were
way ahead of the other team.
I was just directing him very clearly on what to do.
I saw some times that he was way behind you,
and you were ahead of him.
So if you have a man as your partner,
why wouldn't you be blindfolded?
The way that Rob has been acting is so weird.
And I think
that he couldn't handle
his emotions.
And it just sent him in sort of a mental spiral.
So he's going crazy out here.
I didn't know if Eric would be as good at leading
- as-as he is following in that situation. - It was just heat of the moment.
Yeah, and we're same team. We're same team.
- Like, we're same team. - Yeah.
What was that?
Rob is crazy 'cause he just kept
persistently asking,
"Why'd you do that? Why'd you do that?"
And I gave him reason after reason.
So I don't even know what he's talking about.
Rob?
- Are you doing... - How you feeling?
- I get that. - But even last challenge,
we were ahead,
and then we took forever with the puzzle.
And I'm like, "Damn."
So even after he came after me, Rob started
criticizing how we didn't go fast enough
on the puzzle the other day.
I would honestly put money that you're over 200.
I'm 190, guy.
Bro, what are we doing?
I think that he's struggling
way, way more than I thought.
Good job, everybody.
Yo, we did that up!
I coach soccer back home,
little kids, little five-year-olds,
and I'm always like, "Just keep trying, just keep trying."
And today that's what we did, so...
it's exciting.
Get started.
New methods.
Guys, yes.
We got a hammock. We got pillows.
We got a tarp. We were able
to take that shelter supplies
and really turn it into something.
- You did it, Jelly. - Here we go.
Oh, my goodness.
Jelly's hammock.
This is so exciting.
We have a hammock.
We never needed a win more.
We needed that to pull us together.
And it did.
But I came to play the game, so...
when I see everyone
so happy and chill,
I'm thinking, "Oh, this would be
a great opportunity to go look for an idol."
And that's exactly what I do.
When you consider that Tribal Council,
I not only was on the wrong side of the vote,
but someone I wanted to protect
went home, which means I don't have
the power I would like to have.
So finding an immunity idol-- that would be huge.
I hate bugs.
I didn't wear shoes,
and I don't want to cause suspicion.
So I'm about to give up.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God.
"Congratulations.
"You have found a hidden immunity idol.
"When played at Tribal Council,
any votes cast against you will not count."
I'm checking the fine print on this.
"Congratulations.
You have found a hidden immunity idol."
No "beware." No risk attached to it.
This is so old-school, OG Survivor.
This little guy?
This gives me the ability
to shake up the game.
For the first time,
I'm feeling like I'm about to play Survivor.
Can we please vote together at the next Tribal?
I don't want to ever vote differently.
I-I 10,000%-- and it's something you ought to know about me--
this is the open era,
- and I was really proud of the way we started this out. - Yeah.
You owned your game, I owned my game,
and we did what was best for us.
Now, moving forward, what is best?
Like, let's-- if we're speaking French, it's we, it's we, we.
I'm very close to Devin at this point in the game.
We were the only ones
on the wrong side of the vote at Tribal.
But my boy Devin, as much as I love him,
Devin's approach is blatant honesty,
and I can't risk him
blowing up my spot.
- I do trust you, so I want to be transparent. - Uh-huh.
You are playing with your,
- like, heart on your sleeve. - Mm-hmm.
My only concern with that is, like,
if I'm telling you something
- and it goes to someone else... - No.
...or comes up at Tribal, it ends-- it's bad for me.
- And, like, listen... Yeah. - I have not, I have not
one time told any of y'all's business.
Right now
I'm thinking about how I want to proceed in this game.
And Patt feels solid and loyal.
And that is what you want in an ally.
Girl, this is locked down.
At Tribal, even though we voted separate ways,
I still want to work with Jelly.
And her telling me about the idol was, like,
exactly what I needed to cement that relationship.
We need to talk about
how we want to play this game.
- Same. - Because I actually think we have
- all the options, like... - Yeah.
At this point, I think
we need to build a strong alliance.
I think that both of us-- we have
a lot of very strong connections
that we can pull in.
Right now I'm thinking, like, Brady,
me, you, Devin and Mike.
That feels like a loyal bunch.
That's a crew.
Like, honestly,
I want to play with people who are gonna have a good time
and, like, are gonna make some moves.
I am thrilled.
Me, Jelly, Brady, Devin and Mike.
I think that is a strong alliance.
Those five? And I mean, sure, there's ten of us, but...
Yeah, we can dictate everything.
It's all about those relationships,
and the numbers are going to be tight,
and people are going to be picking sides.
So you got to be prepared.
You know, this could be one heck of a group.
These are brodies that came to play,
and these are brodies willing to do just about anything to win.
She does improv?
Whoa! Get out!
Yeah. She's incredible.
Rob? Let's do it.
- All right, what are we doing? - All right.
So the first rule of improv is "yes and."
The first thing I need
is a suggestion from the audience.
Any word.
Did you milk the cows today?
They had this brown...
liquid coming out of 'em.
Brown liquid? My God!
Oh, my gosh. I got to hold
my breath around Eric because he is driving me nuts.
My breath, my tongue.
I got to hold my facial expressions.
I keep telling myself, "Don't say anything mean,"
but it is so hard.
That's the third time this month.
That common sore thumb right now is Eric.
And that rubs people the wrong way, you know?
- He's just annoying. - Well, where were you
milking the cow? Because I know you have a history
of going to the wrong end.
I mean, you know, it...
I mean, the loudest voice in the room
isn't always the most important.
There you go. There's some improv.
Nice. Good job, guys.
Sometimes you have to cut the cancer out early.
If we were to vote today, it would've been
a nine-one Eric vote, he's gone.
Come on in!
- Ooh. - Wow. - Hey, Jeff.
- What's up, buddy? - What's up, Eric?
Wouldn't be a day without you saying good morning.
I know. It wouldn't be a day without you...
just seeing your face. Look at you.
Hope you don't get voted out. I'll miss it.
Ooh, that's fire.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- Whoo! - Here comes Toka.
Hey, Toka.
This looks fun.
All right, shall we get to today's
- immunity challenge? - Yeah!
Bring it on, Jeff! Bring it on!
First things first.
Savu, got to take it back.
We named it Posey for Poseidon.
- Her name's Posey. - Posey.
Oh.
All right, what's up, Posey?
Once again, immunity is back up for grabs.
For today's challenge, you're going to leap
into the ocean
and release a massive Survivor whale.
You'll then have to work together to get the whale
and all of you over a barrel.
You will then drag that massive whale
to the beach and under an obstacle.
When you reach the finish,
one player at a time, you'll roll balls
across a long table and land them in a target.
First tribe to land all three balls...
...wins immunity.
- Wow. - No Tribal Council,
safe from the vote.
- Oh, let's go. - Losers,
Tribal Council, where somebody will be
the second person voted out of Survivor 51.
All right, give you a minute to strategize,
we'll get it on. Here we go.
All right. We got a little rain beginning to fall.
Let's get this on.
Here we go. For immunity.
Survivors ready.
- Go! - Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
We got the rain coming in just as we start.
You got to get everybody
to the whale and up on the platform
before you can begin untying.
- Go, go, go, go! - You're good, Toka.
Good!
Toka with an early lead.
Savu's struggling.
You slow swimmers in the water,
you can't be great at everything.
You just need to try to help.
Toka have their whale free.
You're good, Savu!
Early lead for Toka.
That whale weighs a lot.
You've got 500 pounds of Survivor whale.
And now you've got to get it and yourself over the barrel.
Lift. One, two, three.
Savu now in the water with their whale.
This is where a lot of effort comes in.
You've got to work together and have a strategy
about how you're going to get all ten tribe members
and a 500-pound whale...
- Aah! - ...over this rolling barrel.
You wanted Survivor, you got Survivor.
Hold on, hold on.
Key is figuring out how to use that whale.
Go to my shoulder. Go to my shoulder.
The whale is there to help you.
It is heavy, but if you are smart,
it can help you.
Savu now trying to engineer how they're going to do it.
- Grab it. You got to get that nose
of the whale up first.
There goes Patt.
She's got the nose of the whale.
Savu's got the nose
of the whale. It's like it's breaching.
Patt's still hanging on,
trying to pull it over.
And she's got it.
Can they get it?
Savu having to start again.
Toka getting a lot of momentum now with that whale.
That's how you do it on Survivor!
- Push! - Push!
Got the whale, but you got to get the bodies as well.
- Keep going! Push! - Can you use that tail to get over?
Let go of the tail!
- Let go! Let go! - Savu's still struggling.
Carter going to try to just go over on his own.
Rob's giving him a hand.
Toka's got their whale.
They've got to get all their tribe members over.
- One, two, three. - Savu...
- Push! - ...still trying to get
the nose of that whale up and over.
Carter's waiting for it. Carter jumps up
- and grabs the handle. - Come on! Guys, come on!
That is a big-time move for Savu.
Great teamwork from Toka
getting everybody over.
- Don't let go. - That is how you do it right there!
Yes!
Brady's over.
You're good, Toka. Head in.
Carter single-handedly
is pulling that whale over the barrel.
Make up time. We're at the incline.
Toka with a lot of momentum
and a very big lead right now.
They're making that whale look like it ain't nothing.
Savu's still in the water.
All the momentum of getting that nose is gone.
They're going to have to try again.
All the way. Has to be all the way on.
You're good. Get to the mat.
One person starts on the ball.
Savu's still working on that whale.
A massive time lead for Toka.
On the edge of glory, baby!
Come on, big brody.
Devin trying to land that first ball for Toka.
That's one for Toka.
Going to be Mike coming in, working on that second ball.
Things are not looking promising for Savu right now.
Absolute exhaustion.
Mike lands
- the second ball for Toka! - They need one.
Toka down to their third and final ball.
Immunity on the line.
This is so fun!
- No, no, no, no, no. - Come on, man, hurry up.
It'll be Thien An with that third and final ball for Toka.
First toss.
- Oh! - Right on the line.
Just a little too much.
You got it, Thien An!
I'm getting excited!
Aah!
Count. One, two, three.
Move.
Savu giving it another go. They've got
- some momentum again. - One, two.
For the first time in a while, that nose
is over the top of the barrel.
Oh, my God.
Oh, man!
That was very close.
And they've got it! Wow!
Thien An going to drop out. She can't get back in.
It's now Maggie going to take over.
Now a little bit of pressure.
With her first toss, Maggie almost sticks it.
That door is open,
Savu, let's go!
Let's go. Let's go.
Keep digging. You've got a shot.
Let's go. Let's go.
But if-if you want me to step out, I can...
Maggie could win it.
It goes up and over.
Anything can happen on Survivor.
Comebacks happen all the time.
Maggie trying to make sure that isn't the case.
- Straight, straight. - She is so close to sticking
- that perfect final ball. - You're gonna get it.
Savu showing no quit.
You are in this.
- You've got a shot. - One, two,
three.
Maggie for the win for Toka.
It only takes one. It only takes one.
And there it is.
It's over.
Toka wins their first immunity challenge...
TOKA Maggie! Maggie!
- Maggie! Maggie! - ...sending Savu
to Tribal Council, where somebody
will be the second person voted out of Survivor 51.
Let's go! Let's go!
- Unreal! - Yeah.
All right, congratulations, Toka.
Well earned.
Mags. Give it a kiss.
Give it a kiss. Yeah.
All right, Toka.
No Tribal Council tonight.
Nobody from this group going home.
- Yes! - You will all live to see another day.
Grab your stuff. Head out.
- Enjoy the night off. - Yes.
All right, Savu,
Tribal Council tonight, where somebody
will be the second person voted out of Survivor 51.
Grab your stuff, head out. See you tonight at Tribal.
Thanks, Jeff.
Bye, Jeff.
Losing's not in my vocabulary. Like, I...
I hate to lose. I hate to lose.
We're headed to Tribal Council, so thank God I have the idol.
And my plan tonight is
just follow the deal through and get rid of Eric.
I just never want to see a whale again as long as I live.
Not without a Buff...
- I got to give a shout-out to Rob, though, because... - Yeah.
- It was so hard. - We kept going up, and I'm like,
"Freaking go over the damn thing!"
Today's challenge went absolutely horrible.
We absolutely got our asses kicked.
So now we're headed to Tribal Council.
Ever since day one, I've been so hard
after Eric to get him out, and I just keep hearing stories that
a lot of people think Eric's annoying and stuff like that.
So I feel like he's good to be the first one voted out.
Everyone's pretty much on board that.
They've been on board that probably for two days now.
How do you spell "Eric"?
It's got to be an "A" or an "E" first.
- It's an "E." - Wait. What?
- I know a lot of... - You think Eric starts with an "A"?
There's a lot I know that start with an "A."
- Doesn't matter 'cause it's phonetic. - Jeff will sound it out.
Yeah, Jeff will sound it out.
I'm gonna have a talk with him now.
We have to give him a name. What do we tell him?
I don't know.
When it comes to the vote, they were like,
"Who's going to be who we tell Eric to vote out?"
I threw out Kristin's name and then immediately was like,
"What am I doing throwing out names?" Huh? Zip.
And then I was like, "You know what? Screw it.
I'll just put my name out as a decoy in order to gain trust."
Use me.
He never talked to me.
It's perfect.
Just don't... blindside me.
Nobody had any reaction to it at all. They were like,
"Yeah, sure, you be the vote."
I'm never offering my name up again.
That was the dumbest thing I've ever done.
And I'm a smart player.
They know what's up. Now you see 'em, like,
30, 40 feet in front of you, they're disappearing.
That's what I would like to do. - Okay.
Just because it's a group consensus.
You agree?
- Let's do it. - We're going to be in the majority.
Mm-hmm.
If it was just on me and I was the sole person
that's deciding this vote, it would be Ana.
Ana is the one that has been throwing my name around.
I don't trust her, but
everyone else-- they want to vote Eric out.
It should be
a very easy vote. Nobody should be paranoid.
It should be him, and that's it, and then we keep moving on.
So now
I'm, like, trying to figure out
what to do because I'm a little uneasy
about going against the grain for the first vote.
- What would you say? - Boy, I don't know.
Those crabs-- you can't get 'em
'cause they're under such huge rocks.
Is it a time of day thing, or you think it's another...?
Yeah, I think it might be kind...
We might be a little early.
I think they're lying.
I know.
I was crouched behind the shelter.
And I caught them clearly stirring the pot.
We think they're working secretly together,
and no one knows. We all know about it now.
- Yeah. No, they're freaking out. - They're playing hard
and they're playing early.
And I think they're going to get burnt tonight because of it.
Ana threw my name out, she threw Sharonda's name out.
And so... I want Ana out.
- I know, and that's... - I've heard your name,
I've heard my name, and I've heard Sharonda's name.
Really?
- Yeah. Three of us. - ...
Yep.
When I found out
that Ana and Rob and Carter
have been floating my name around,
at first there was that jolt.
It was that shock of like, "Wow.
What did I do?"
But I know I make good relationships.
When they're saying my name,
and people are coming to me to tell me,
that's how I know I'm doing it right.
Ana is the one who started throwing out names.
And we want to get that chaos out of here.
Okay, I kind of heard whispers
- that she threw my name out there. - Yep.
And Alexis said she tried to throw my name out, too.
Ana has been throwing my name around.
On the other hand,
we have Eric over here, who's always been at the bottom,
can be a little obnoxious at times,
but given that he's been giving me information,
I don't want Eric to leave yet. I want Ana out.
I can trust Eric more than I can trust Ana,
so it's game time
and, like, it's time to work.
Yeah.
He's not gonna tell.
Yeah.
Yeah, you think so?
It seems like Ori
is wanting to stick with Rob and his group
to get rid of Eric.
But he has to be on the same page because
I have been sticking with Ori,
and nobody knows that Ori and I are like this.
We want to keep the tribe strong.
- Right? - Mm-hmm.
- You agree with that? - Yes.
And since Ana want me out and her out,
I'm going after whoever wants me out.
So I'm letting you know because I trust you.
If me and you jump on board, we have a majority.
I don't want to jump on board without you.
My number one right now, my-- since day one--
Sharonda. That's my girl.
Ana's... Ana's coming. But Eric?
I guess Ana said her name,
so Sharonda wants to send Ana home.
But I've had eyes on Eric for a while,
so I'm gonna have to turn
the tables and shift gears from her.
It sounds like we have the numbers on our side
if we can all just agree on who it's going to be.
I think it's... I think we go Eric.
Eric scares me.
- Why? - He's wild, he's unpredictable,
and, like, he'd be able to try and make a move or two.
Absolutely true. Yeah.
He's gonna want to have...
Eric always wants the attention.
Eric always wants to be the guy.
And it's like, he's been rubbing people the wrong way.
Eric scares me, bro.
He can flip quick 'cause he's trying to play Survivor.
Since day one, Eric has been the consensus vote.
He never got his footing, so he's been on the outs.
It's Eric.
We've got the freaking numbers.
I'm gonna keep the tribe very even-keeled, very copacetic.
So if I have anything to do with it, Eric is who
I'm gonna make sure goes home tonight.
Oh, my God. This game of Survivor is so crazy.
So many twists and turns.
You watch Survivor, you think you could do everything,
you think you could win every challenge.
I don't know.
You feel a little guilt when, um,
I left my three kids and my wife to come out here.
Um, sorry, I get, I get emotional just talking
about, uh...
I miss them, you know.
No, like, I miss...
I miss this every day, every night.
I-I used to sleep with them in their bed.
And here I'm in a jungle,
you know, sleeping with a bunch of strangers.
I miss all of that, you know.
So there's been some thoughts in my head
to, uh, sacrifice myself and put down my own name to go.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
But you got to do
whatever I tell you to do at Tribal Council.
- Okay. - That's going to change everything.
So what... so what is your plan?
Just got to trust me, brother.
So you're not going to tell me the plan?
At Tribal Council...
- Yeah. - ...I'll come talk to you.
- Right. - All right?
- But then... - Whatever. Listen.
- Okay. - Listen.
- Okay. - All right? I'm telling you,
this is going to change the game a lot.
- Okay. - All right?
So this is something that...
- This is between us. - Yeah.
Stays here.
Rob is a very complex individual.
He told me
he had a big, giant plan.
And I said, "Okay, what is the plan?"
"Dude, you just have to trust me."
Okay.
I'm just gonna take a blind walk off a short pier?
No, dude.
This is Survivor. I want to gather my facts
so I can make an educated decision.
So we might have to just wait for Tribal Council.
- All right. - And I'll talk to you.
Okay, like, you're gonna make it live?
Oh, yeah.
You're gonna go-- That's-- Okay.
We're gonna make history tonight.
Mm-hmm.
At Tribal, I'm still gonna be in his ear,
trying to make things work.
It's gonna be unreal.
I'm extremely excited for it.
It might be groundbreaking tonight. Who knows? You know?
I never know what I'm gonna do.
I had an idol in my pocket.
And any time anyone has an idol,
crazy things can happen.
I think all my life I've kind of made big moves.
So anything can happen tonight. You never know.
Yeah, you never know in the game of Survivor.
That's for sure.
Oh, my God. It's all whale bones.
Oh, my gosh. Wow.
Actually crazy, man.
Wow.
Behind each of you is a torch.
Go ahead and grab a torch, dip it in and get fire.
This is part of the ritual at Tribal Council
because in this game, fire represents your life.
When your fire's gone, so are you.
That is going to be the case tonight, sadly,
for one of you to be the first person voted out of this group.
But before we get into that, Sharonda,
what's a part of living in the jungle that's
as romantic or exciting as you kind of hoped it might be?
Yeah, I'll start with the good because I feel like
there's a lot of bad that comes with it sometimes.
Um, but the sunsets, the sunrises.
It's so gorgeous and beautiful.
We're all super thankful that we're here, but
- at the same time, this is real. - Rob,
what's the worst part of living in the jungle?
Uh, the worst part is-- I mean, I'm one
that I could sleep anywhere at home.
For some damn reason,
in the jungle I could just not sleep.
You're wet all the time.
I mean, I've change-- I haven't changed my underwear.
I've just been washing it in, uh, the ocean.
So I got a little crotch itch
going on there, but, uh...
I'm a city boy, so I'm used
to taking showers, be in nice fluffy beds, nice big pillows.
Yeah, not here.
Cristian, how would you describe the overall
sensibility of this group?
Are you more playful, more chaotic,
more levelheaded?
I think it's a good mix of everything, to be honest.
After the challenge loss today, it felt very chaotic.
We have no idea what's coming.
This is the open era of unprecedented chaos
and unpredictability.
But if history dictates anything about what might come,
we have to have cohesion and a strong tribe going forward
in order for all of us to make it further in the game.
Sharonda, how would you describe
the level of tension or suspicion
when you got back to camp and people had to finally
start having little side conversations?
I mean, it was sky-high.
Of course we're a family, but now we have to vote
the least, like, family member out?
Like, is that Uncle Bob that gets
on everybody's nerves? Or is that
Cindy Lou, who just want to read you stories?
Like, we don't know who it's going to be.
So, I mean, I thought it was chaotic.
Eric, how about for you?
I don't think people
come into this game wanting to hate someone,
like, wanting to just target.
I think people come into this game
wanting to, you know, win, of course,
but how do you get there to win?
It's just the cruel nature of the game.
Ana, on one hand, Sharonda's saying, "Look,
of course we're a group. We live in the jungle together."
Eric's saying, "No, not necessarily.
You come out here, take your shot, and play your game."
Where do you fit in that?
It's a balance. And you're looking at people
and you're recognizing how they make you feel.
Can I trust this person?
Because people are going to make choices.
They have to choose someone.
And you're constantly battling
both of those elements in your brain as you're picking
someone that you want to vote out.
All right, Jeff.
This game makes you nuts.
This game absolutely makes you go crazy.
You think you could just relax, and then
two people walk away talking...
Myself, I just go crazy in the head.
Linnea,
the overall vote, if it goes the way you think it's going to go,
is really about harmony, ultimately.
Of course you want to win challenges,
but you're looking for people that can get along.
Yeah, it's about harmony,
but harmony has to do with relationships.
And so it's more complicated than just saying
you're voting somebody out
because they mess with the tribe vibes.
It's we're voting someone out because not everyone's vibing
with them personally on a relationship level.
Ori, how much talk has there been about
advantages or idols
or the possibility of the Shot in the Dark
coming into play tonight?
Not much, honestly.
I haven't heard any whispers of finding idols.
And it's kind of concerning 'cause right now
the only thing that possibly can be played is a Shot in the Dark.
But it's like, if you feel comfortable,
there's no way you're playing that.
So if everyone did their job,
everyone here should trust each other enough
to go with the plan, cast your vote,
and show you're a part of the team.
I don't agree with that.
One-- with idols, there has been whispers.
So is there an idol at camp somewhere? Maybe.
Does somebody have it right now? Maybe.
But they say if you're not sitting
at the table being served, then you're on the menu.
So I don't think you should sit too comfortable
at any point in time.
Yeah, but, Jeff, I would say take the layup.
Just put two on the board. Don't do too much.
You don't need to shoot from half-court.
You don't need to step back three.
Take the layup.
All right, it is time...
- Rob. - I'd like to speak to Eric.
Go for it. It's your Tribal.
- Come up, man. - What? Want me to get up?
What's up?
Rob, what's up?
Wow. Carter,
I thought we were about ready to vote, and...
Yeah, you never know with that guy.
He's always got something up his sleeve, it seems like.
Rob, what is happening?
What's that?
Fill me in.
I tried to have a conversation with Eric earlier.
I wanted to build trust with him.
He didn't really kind of give me an answer
of what I was asking for.
So I told him, I said, "Tribal Council,
"I'm gonna ask the same question.
- It's coming down." - Rob,
you seem maybe slightly annoyed by this.
Right now it's chaos. Like, chaos has ensued.
It's, like, I don't know. I'm just ready to vote.
- I'm ready to vote now. - Sharonda, when you talk
about wanting to make your tribe cohesive, this is not that.
You're right. Like, I mean,
maybe this could bring it closer
and now we're a family again.
I mean, that could happen.
But, I mean,
this is Survivor, man.
This is crazy.
Take the layup.
You see what I mean?
You were almost there.
Take the layup.
- How are we feeling? - Let's vote.
- Let's do it. - Let's vote.
Ana, are you ready to vote? - Please.
All right, it is
time to vote. Carter, you're up.
Wow.
I've always been about winning and losing, but
I feel like today, I want to give someone a second chance.
And, uh, I feel like Eric's in the flames right now.
He might not know that, but...
if he listens to me, if he trusts me,
then he'll do as I say and he'll still be in this game.
Sometimes the greatest players have made
a sacrifice for the better good.
I feel like he deserves to be in this game.
Oh, no? ...
Oh, man.
I'll go tally the votes.
If anybody has an advantage or an idol
and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.
All right, I'll read the votes.
First vote...
Ana.
Eric.
One vote-- Ana, one vote-- Eric.
Eric. Two votes-- Eric,

Wow.

Whoa!
Next time on Survivor...
Yeah! I did it, Gina! Yeah!
Kilby-- he a liar. He a liar.
This is complete chaos.
Really?
I definitely played a little too hard, too quickly.
I got excited. I think I made a lot
of promises early on in the game,
and things caught up to me.
So I didn't know how to handle that.
I do love chaos and mischief.
I will always be causing chaos
and mischief in my everyday life.
I love the game, and I'm disappointed.
I'm disappointed
that it's ended so soon.
