- [Computer] Battery at 95%.

(Alejo speaks in foreign language)

- Dude I'm trying to edit here right now,

can you please...

(Alejo speaks in foreign language)

- [Jackson] Are you still talking to me?

- [Computer] 4.22 miles.

(Alejo speaks in foreign language)

- Hey, my boys.

Jackson Rex here and...

Jackson Rex here and welcome to the Orion.

We're about halfway underwater right now.

- [Marcus] Three, three quarters.

- [Computer] Unable to verify HSB level.

- Say that again.

- [Computer] Reset trim tank sub-system.

- Three quarters.

- No, no, say it like a sentence.

I'll lead you in.

- What?

- We're about halfway underwater right now.

- Three quarters the way-

- Three quarters of the way.

This guy knows his stuff.

Marcus Graves, mon capitan, CEO of South Star,

and the 27th richest man in Australia.

Cha-ching!

- I don't really like to brag.

- Tell us more about the ship.

Give us the rundown.

- All right, sure, no worries.

So this is the Orion submersible.

We're encased in a carbon fibre cylinder

that's about 15 inches thick.

- Nice.

- 10 backup safety systems.

Eight different ways of resurfacing in case of an emergency.

Two long distance radios, food, water,

and enough oxygen for 36 hours.

- Okay, that's boring.

Tell us how much it costs.

- Nah.

- No, come on, the people want to know.

- Just under six million.

- Six million.

That's my walking around money, boys.

- That's not cheap if that's what you're trying.

- Tell us why you built this.

- Well, this is not your usual submersible.

Just, you know, these things,

they have so much red tape in them.

It's borderline criminal

and it's not for safety concerns either.

It's to stop ordinary people from experiencing this dive.

Up until now, this has only been available

for people that are rich or filmmakers.

- Yeah, very rich filmmakers. (laughs)

- Anyone should be able to experience this

with no barrier to entry.

You know, the depths of the ocean, the highest mountains,

even up into space.

It should be seen by everyone with their own eyes.

- Half a million dollars.

So affordable.

This guy right here, you know, he's crazy, but I love him.

It was Alejo-

- Alejo Miguel Delgado.

I save 13 years-

- Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I love this guy though.

Last but not least, we got David,

our in-flight nepo baby. (laughs)

Son of Marcus right here.

Oh.

I'm guessing you got a free ticket.

Our fearless crew sealed inside this submarine, two hours.

Two hours into our adventure, into the depths

of the Atlantic to the final resting place

of the R.M.S Titanic.

- It's because of this I came here-

- Um.

In my last video, you guys were shook to learn that

the Titanic was a real ship.

- [Marcus] Are you serious?

- Well, the movie didn't say

it was based on a true story now, did it?

- [Marcus] Did it have to?

- It's all true.

- My (speaks in foreign language) great, great grandmother,

She was on board

when that ship went down.

And it's because of that,

I'm here to go to visit her.

- Visit her?

- Yes, visit her.

She is in deck D,

cabin D88,

and she works in the kennel, hmm?

And when we will arrive there, we will knock on her door

and she will be waiting for us

with coffee, cake, fun, music, (speaks in foreign language).

(Alejo laughs)

- He's crazy, I tell ya.

But I love him.

- Yeah.

- Are you guys almost done?

It echoes in here.

- Yeah, yeah, yeah, one second bro, one second.

You guys chose, this is my destination,

and I told you guys, my boys, I'll take you everywhere.

And now we're going where no man has gone before.

The wreck of the Titanic.

Deep into the abyss, down into the darkness

of Davy Jones Locker.

Ooh.

Stay tuned for more.

(Jackson screams)

- That seems exhausting.

- Yeah, no kidding.

How long till we get there?

I'll need to film when we get there.

- David.

- Right.

About an hour.

- Great.

I'm going to sleep.

Move.

- How is possible you go to sleep.

This is thrilling.

So many fish out there.

- Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey Jackson.

We said no alcohol.

We were pretty clear.

- You didn't let me bring my vape so.

You're welcome to have some later if you like.

- So cold down here.

- Keep the noise down, all right?

- Hey, I wouldn't mess with that.

- I'm sorry.

- That wouldn't really open though, would it?

- I was just thinking in the bolts.

- Bolts?

- Yes, bolts.

Oh, you had to lock it with the long bolts, no?

Hard to escape.

- Escape?

Where we're going is 6,000 pounds of pressure.

There is no escape.

(David breathes heavily)

- Hard to escape, but it's not impossible.

You will see.

(heart pounding)

- Hey, you good?

- Yeah, it's just a little warm.

It's colder out there.

I'll lower the heat then.

- Fine.

- You are claustrophobic.

- What?

- No, he isn't.

- I think so.

He's breathing heavy, he's sweating.

I can see from here his heartbeat in his neck.

Claustrophobia.

- Can you shut up?

- David, have a drink of water and lie down.

Hey.

Are you claustrophobic?

- No.

- I didn't think so.

You've been in here heaps of times.

- Never on a dive though.

I just think it was Jackson's voice.

- This isn't a large space.

I can hear you.

- Gave me a headache.

- Hey, you'll get used to this.

Before you know it, you'll be running your own dives.

- I can't wait.

- Family business, yeah?

- Yeah.

If we did have to leave in a hurry,

like we surfaced and we had to get out quickly.

- Well it takes John and Tulah

about 15 minutes to unbolt the nose.

Is that quick enough?

- What if the bolt wasn't there?

- David, why are you asking this?

- It doesn't matter.

(heart pounding)

- Look, there is a way to blow

the forward hatch in an emergency.

It's a fail safe, we won't need it, but it's there.

Seven short hours, we'll be back on the ship.

- Seven?

- Maybe eight.

- Can't we go faster?

- Ah, look we can but increases the pressure on the hull.

- It's just my legs are cramped.

Okay, well it just feels way smaller in here

when it's underwater.

- Look, there's a storm coming topside, all right?

Still a way off, but if we increase the speed on descent,

we can go fast enough to beat it, okay?

- You don't have to change your schedule for me.

- Nepotism.

- I'm not, it's to beat the weather.

Here, take the controls.

- It's fine, I don't really want to.

- I will do it.

I will take us to the Titanic.

- You have to learn sooner or later.

- Next time.

(watch beeps)

- Yep, 30-minute check in.

Gotta send our status topside, you good?

- Yeah.

(tense music)

- [Computer] Specified velocity will increase hull pressure.

Do you wish to continue?

Descent speed increased to 10.2 knots.

(tense music)

Hull pressure increase of 7%.

Pressure now at 771 psi on main gauge.

(tense music)

(radar dings)

- Where are you?

Come on, come on, come on.

(radar dings)

We're not above the wreck.

- Is that bad?

Maybe we drifted on decent-

- David, I'm trying to work, quiet.

(radar dings)

Found it.

We're above the Titanic.

- Oh, finally.

- Yeah!

(Jackson groans)

- What?

- We're approaching the wreck.

- [Jackson] Better If I could go live for this.

- Just switching to surface navigation.

Just the manoeuvring thrust is extending.

(submersible whirs)

- What now?

- We're spinning.

- Spinning?

- What does that mean?

- It means we're going in circles.

I can't steer this damn thing straight.

- Here it is, folks.

Half a million dollars and this tin can

is being steered by a video game controller.

- [Computer] The Bluetooth device is ready to pair.

- Batteries.

The video game controller needed new batteries.

- Are we going to die?

I'm just asking.

- We're just spinning.

Someone must have mounted one of the propellers backwards.

- Excuse me?

- Thrusters are firing, but I'm moving forward.

It's not right.

They must be cancelling each other out.

- This is so dodgy.

- Damn it.

I can't steer us towards the wreck.

- But we are so close.

- [Marcus] We'll have to resurface.

- [Jackson] So unprofessional.

- It is right under us.

Maybe it's close enough.

- Look, if I can't steer us, we can't move around.

We have no other choice, we have to resurface.

- Little piece of advice from someone

who makes a living off playing video games.

They aren't meant for situations like this.

- Can I try something?

- David.

Hey, you got it.

Hey, slowly.

- Yep.

There you have it guys.

A gamer saves the day.

Davy!

- Maybe I should be the one

making money off playing video games.

You know, just alternate, you gotta hold it like this.

- [Marcus] Yeah, yeah, sure.

- So we are all good?

- A ghostly echo lingers.

On a moonless night in the North Atlantic,

no land on any horizon.

The ocean was filled with laughter and light.

The Titanic, the unsinkable, cuts through the darkness

with a triumphant arrogance.

Clock strikes midnight.

A shiver runs through the ship.

An icy hand unseen by anyone else traces the corridor.

Passengers revel in their mirth, but the ship.

The ship whispers secrets to the abyss.

A deafening roar splits the night.

The icy hand cuts at the ship like a blade,

tearing it from bow to stern.

The orchestra plays on unaware

that they are serenading death itself.

The Titanic, mortally wounded,

slips beneath the waves and plummets into the abyss.

Her metal hull buckles, girders shatter,

the ocean rips apart the ship piece by piece.

In the stern, a passenger is trapped in an air pocket

behind a watertight door.

He tries to escape, but it's bolted shut.
