at the Little People of America Convention,

which is an annual convention for people

with dwarfism.

We live in an average-sized world.

I'm 28 years old from Toronto, Canada.

I have the most common type of dwarfism, achondroplasia.

I got small limbs, regular sized torso like all of

you, a massive ass, and for some reason,

we have this odd looking hand, but, I mean, I kinda like it.

I can play with myself in not a weird way.

If the police come right when I arrive,

that'll be a bit annoying.

I'm the only little person in my entire family,

and growing up was quite a challenge because I was

always made fun of for how I look.

When I was created, they decided, let's not only

make this guy short, but let's also give him

the challenge of that -- exactly.

So, if you haven't already noticed, I have a stutter,

which means everybody just wanted to make fun of me

'cause I was an easy target.

I had to quickly realize that I'm little.

I make people laugh.

Why am I not using that to my advantage?

I decided to make a quick video.

[John] And then I made a few more videos, and then

that all blew up, and then I never looked back.

It turned into a career for me.

If you can't change it, embrace it.

My role in this friend group is, I'd say I'm the glue.

I just love to bring everybody together, and all my friends

come from average height families.

So, we make it a point to get together, escape the average

sized world, and just let loose, have fun,

and kind of just feel normal for once.

Everything in my life completely changed.

I got in a life-threatening accident.

I had brain surgery, and now I have a metal plate in my head.

This trip means even more now, and I'm so grateful to be here.

I'm not gonna pass up on any opportunity to have fun,

especially with my best friends.

the abbreviation for it is Acro.

But all of my friends have achondroplasia.

So my type of dwarfism has different characteristics.

We have smaller, boxier hands, same as our feet, and we have

bigger booties, which people seem to love.

at us like we're so different.

Swimming to me as a dwarf is so much more challenging because

we have small fins,
