SHE SCREAMS Previously, on Tempting Fortune...
But I don't like this...
The ten remaining fortune-seekers
continued their gruelling 18-day trek
through the Malaysian jungle,
to win whatever's left of a 300-grand prize pot.
HE GROANS
To keep the money intact,
they must resist spending it on tantalising temptations...
Oh, my Go-o-od!
SHE LAUGHS
If they continue to spend our money, I will drain the tank.
..because whatever they spend comes off the group's prize pot.
£10,000?
After battling the brutal conditions for over two weeks...
I banged my toe on one of the rocks.
The most pain I've been in.
..and no contact with their loved ones...
I'm absolutely missing my children, aren't I? Every minute of the day.
..we're offering our fortune-seekers
the chance to reconnect with friends and family back home.
The cost?
A mere £100 a minute.
No weakness, got to stay strong.
So I'll talk to them in a few days.
So far, Nathaniel, Henry and Hugo have resisted the video call.
Don't even play with me with this.
Now, after becoming increasingly isolated from the group,
it's Sam's turn to face the agonising decision.
I've never been away from my children,
so this, for me, is absolute torture.
This experiment's been incredibly difficult for me,
mainly for the fact that I'm missing my children so much.
Oh, no! No, no, no!
Oh, my God.
Being away from them is...incredibly difficult.
"When you start your call,
"you are welcome to take as long as you want to catch up.
"International calling fees apply
"at a rate of £100 per minute."
I don't give a shit if I'm here for an hour.
Yes, please.
Hi!
TOGETHER: Hi! Hi!
Guys, are you OK?
Yeah. Yeah, you?
We've missed you so much.
Oh, my God, I can't believe it's you!
I needed to see you all.
I really needed to see this today.
Think about when you hug us.
Think about that.
That's all I think about, every day.
Look at your little faces - I just want to kiss you!
CHILDREN LAUGH
Has it been challenging? Yeah.
It's been really, really, really hard.
SHE LAUGHS Has it?Mm-hm.
HE CHUCKLES Oh, God.
You can do this, Mum. You can.
You can do this. Three days.
You can get through the last three days, come on.
I'm never leaving you again,
not even for a...not even for a day.
I love you all. Bye to you. Love you! Bye. Love you, bye.
You can do this! Go on, you. Yes!
Love you.
Oh, my God.
I'm so happy. I'm just so, so happy.
I'd have sold my soul to the devil to just take that call, right then.
If I hadn't had that call,
the next three days would have been extremely difficult for me.
I've still got hard treks ahead of me, and challenges,
so I absolutely needed that to get me through.
I just feel absolutely on top of the world!
Next up is first-time dad, Thom.
The hardest bit about this,
without a doubt, is missing family.
There's no doubt about it.
You've got friends in there,
but you can't really get from them
what you would get from your family.
Oh, fuck me.
HE LAUGHS
My little boy and my missus!
HE LAUGHS
Tucker!
HE LAUGHS
It's been a while, now.
Fuck.
I want to take the call.
Tucker! You all right, boy?
Are you all right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We've missed you so much. My God. God, I've missed you too, man.
There's only... There's only three more nights, all right?
Ah, he's copying me, wiping his eyes, look! I know.
THEY LAUGH
It's like £100 a minute.
I won't to take the piss -
to be honest, I had a Chinese the other day for 450 quid,
so I thought "I'd better at least pick the phone up!"
HE LAUGHS
Since he's been born,
I've not been away from Tucker longer than three days.
He looks bigger!
But not being able to call at all,
and not knowing what's going on...
..yeah, it sends you wild.
Oh, my God!
All right, babe, I'll let you go. At least he's...
I'm sweet now.
Oh, that's all I needed!
Love you!
HE PUFFS This was a strong feeling, yeah.
Bye-bye. Love you, Dad!
Bye! Bye! I love you, Thom.
Love you, bye!
Oh, I love them so much.
Oh, it's seeing their little faces, innit?
Fuck!
I thought that I'd just talk to you, now.
And seeing their little faces, just...
She's done all his hair up how I like it, and that.
Oh, mate!
Family, you can't put a price on family. No.
Simple as that. It's exactly what we needed today, wasn't it?
Mate, like... I can't tell you.
So happy for you, mate. You, too.
THEY BOTH EXCLAIM
Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
There's no price you can put on friendship.
They're my best friends, and it's...
LAUGHING: Look, it's my dog!
In my situation, when you lose parents
and you haven't got parents,
you haven't got a mum, you haven't got a dad, you know,
friends are like your family.
Bring it on, I'm so ready.
Hey. Oh, my God. Hey, Tracy.
HE LAUGHS This is insane!
Bailey looks so massive! HE LAUGHS
Oh, doggy champagne! HE LAUGHS
You see? He's drinking to my health!
How long was I on the phone call? Oh, my gosh. I don't have a clue!
A really big kiss-kiss!
Cheers to Daddy!
Oh, Bailey...
HE LAUGHS
Oh, my God. I miss you so much. It's insane.
Do I care? No, I actually don't care that much.
HE LAUGHS
You know, happy people don't measure the time.
I don't want to finish, but they will literally crucify me.
I will be, like...
OK.
HE LAUGHS
So far, three of the group have taken calls
with their loved ones back home,
costing the prize fund £2,100.
Now, it's up to some of the biggest spenders
to face the heart-wrenching temptation.
SHE GASPS Oh...
My mum, my beautiful mum!
Oh, my beautiful wife!
SHE LAUGHS
Oh, my gosh! That's my other half.
Oh, that's my daughter and my husband.
OK... Oh, my God.
I mean, this is ridiculous.
LAUGHING: I can't believe he's, like, sat in front of me right now!
Shit.
Oh, fuck.
OK. No, I'm not going to take it.
I've got three days, and then I can talk to him!
SHE SIGHS
Shit. Sorry, babe.
SHE LAUGHS
He's going to kill me!
I love them to death,
but I'm not going to speak to them until I'm out.
So, like, three days and I'll speak.
SHE LAUGHS
That's it, I'm happy!
Bu hopefully, if people have taken it,
they've just said their hellos and then put the phone down,
because it's bloody expensive,
and they're going to speak to their loved ones when they get out
in three days' time.
Hello. Hey. You're looking scrumptious. Ah, so, are you.
HE LAUGHS Nah, I look a...
I thought you'd have dreadlocks by now.
HE LAUGHS
But it's so good to see you!
Mum, let's chat!
THEY SQUEAL
Mum! Hang on a second!
Oh, my God!
Queenie, I love you!
How's everything out there?
Yeah, it's been just so difficult.
Keep your head up.
I swam in waters that had crocodiles in!
Wait, what?
Give the boys a big hug and a kiss for me. I will.
Love you.
Love you, too. Bye. All right, bye.
HE SIGHS
Mum, I have to go.
I have to go in a minute.
Chuck her out! Take her out of the room.
OK. Come on, come on.
This household is manic!
Talking to my mum has made my day, made my week,
made this whole, entire trip.
Mwah. Love you, love you!
I love you. You're the best!
SHE SQUEALS
My mum is a bundle of joy.
Bye! Bye!
So, suddenly, I went from being miserable about the rice and beans
to literally on top of the world.
My mum and my dog are worth every single penny.
Five calls home have cost the group three grand.
The biggest spender was Sam, with a hefty 1,200 quid bill,
bringing the total spend to £114,650 over 15 days.
That's almost eleven-and-a-half thousand pounds
from everyone's prize pot.
That is the best experience I think I've ever had... Ah.
..in my whole life.
Just enough, just enough. I reckon I was...
I don't think I was even on there for a minute.
Ah, man, I'm buzzing.
Look, I mean, the next few days will be a doddle.
Yeah. A walk in the park.
I think it would have made me just take my head out of the game
a little bit. It definitely made the decision a lot easier for me,
so I didn't take it.
I was just like. "Love you!" Ah...
And "Three days!"
And that was enough for me.
Out of all the temptations that I've done out here,
which have been a few,
that one was the best out of all of them.
Some of them are proper hard nuts
and, when it comes to speaking to family and friends, they're like,
"Oh, no. It's only a few days until we see them again."
Which obviously, I know that, but I also don't really care.
It's been tough out here,
so I just needed that boost of positivity.
Honestly, their little faces. It was just incredible.
I'm so grateful that we got that temptation today.
So grateful. It's just absolutely made my day.
I don't even know how many minutes.
It could be ten minutes, I don't care.
Sam did take the call from home.
She's got this attitude of,
"Don't spend my money, I've got plans for this money."
But then, when it's something that interests her,
she's more than happy to spend it,
and she told us that she may have been on the phone for TEN minutes.
So, she's spent a lot of cash.
There's just no way I was rushing my children and my husband on the phone
for no-one.
I definitely think this will give people
the strength that they need to go the next few days.
Only three more nights now,
so hopefully this was enough to get everyone over the finish line
without any more fireworks.
THUNDER RUMBLES
It's 7am, and the camp mates have had a sleepless night
thanks to a ferocious tropical storm.
I have never, ever, in my life, experienced rain like that. Ever.
Are you guys feeling tired, or...?
To be honest, after speaking to my family yesterday,
it's like day one for me, mate. Yeah, good. I'm back.
Yeah, I'm ready to go.
I feel, like, full of beans. Oh, full of beans?
Got you, got you, got you.
Yeah, well, I'm definitely frigging full of beans, but...
THEY LAUGH Literally.
Obviously, when other people are, like,
telling you about the phone calls that they've had, like,
you feel great for them, because you can see, like,
how, like, buzzing they're feeling.
But then it makes you feel, like, a little bit left out
because you didn't take the phone call.
Another day of gritty rice and beans.
I mean, I need some pick-up excitement, you know? Mm.
HE LAUGHS
Over the last 15 days,
the group have trekked over 100 kilometres
through the unforgiving heat and humidity of the tropical jungle.
This is a real mountain climb. Steep climb. Yeah.
That looks really intense, though.
Now, their aching muscles have to carry them
through their most arduous trek yet -
an eight-kilometre mountain climb.
It looks like a long one today, doesn't it? I'm up for a long one.
Needs to be, you know, something that we can dig deep in, you know?
I'm a bit worried, to be honest with you, cos... Yeah.
..for whatever reason,
I just forgot to have a poop-ski this morning, man. Oh, did you? No!
I'll laugh, if I do it at the top of a cliff.
HE LAUGHS
I think today's going to be really hard, it's going to be tough.
I am exhausted, everyone else is exhausted.
So, if it's a difficult one today, we're all screwed.
Let's go!
I barely got any sleep last night, so I'm not looking forward to today.
I know it's going to be tough, and I just hope I can handle it.
Today's trek is going to be made even more treacherous
by last night's storm.
It's going to be a tough one,
and it's very hot today.
My legs are burning.
Really uphill.
And it's really humid after the rainstorm.
One hour into their climb...
Be careful, guys.
Yeah, this is slippery.
HE EXCLAIMS
..with temperatures reaching 35 degrees,
the conditions are taking their toll.
SHE EXCLAIMS Push up, push up.Oh, my gosh!
PANTING
If there's a little flat bit, I do need to rest.
I feel like I do.
This is hell on earth.
I think Imani's struggling with the incline.
She's starting to get a little bit tired,
a bit more vocal about her limitations at the moment.
I've got this. If you go upwards...
We're getting to the last few days.
Now, if a temptation crops up,
I think the group needs to stay strong.
Guys, this is really hard!
You've got to be on...
You've got to be on your hands and knees for this bit.
SHE EXHALES
Oh, my gosh.
Sorry, guys, I'm really dizzy.
Yeah?
OK, just put your head between your legs for a few seconds.
You're good. You're doing really, really good. Well done.
Hey, you all right, guys?
I'm really dizzy. That's fine. Keep your head between your legs
and just breathe.
Did anybody see that?
Do you think that's bad news?
She's gone very quiet, which is always worrying.
It's the last thing we need.
Just concentrate on your breathing. OK.
Imani needs to fight tooth-and-nail to keep going to the end,
because otherwise, it's £30,000 coming out of the prize pot.
Uh, not too optimistic, to be honest.
Imani's struggling.
And she's saying "I can't do it, I can't do it."
I'd genuinely be gutted if she quit,
because we're so close to the finish line now.
I just don't know if I can do this one.
I'm really dizzy...
It's Day 16 of the fortune-seekers' 18-day trek
through the dense, remote Malaysian jungle.
SHE BREATHES SHAKILY
Do you know, like, it just literally started, like, spinning.
I know. And, like, rocking.
Imani? Yeah?
Like, you've got us to support you.
You can see, I'm not feeling super well, either. Thank you, guys.
So, we've got each other's support, yeah?
I really appreciate it, honestly.
Without the support of you lot, there's no way.
Yeah, this is hard. You are a lot stronger than...
SHE CHUCKLES ..than you thought. Than us, yeah.
..to be honest, what I thought to start with.
So, I'm going to need to eat humble pie.
SHE CHUCKLES WEAKLY
That was the first time that I've ever gone dizzy
and light-headed in this experience.
That was the closest I've ever felt to just saying,
"You know what? Let's forget this whole thing. I'm ready to go home."
Just slowly. Yeah, thank you.
You can. Don't worry about your bag yet. Just get your feet.
SHE PUFFS Oh, gosh.
Just steady yourself. You don't... Yeah.
The gruelling treks have taken a massive toll on our group,
and some of them are in real danger of not making it to the finish line.
So, this next temptation could be just the thing
to get them to the end.
We've built a luxury spa in the middle of the jungle,
offering our bone-tired trekkers their pick of wellbeing treatments
designed to sooth their aches and pains.
But, as always,
all this comes with a hefty price tag.
Feels like a never-ending trek, to be honest.
HE PANTS
Yeah, my legs are just tired and...
I need to... I need to rest my toe.
Yeah, you have to keep pushing and...
..do your best to survive.
And for me, I've been doing a lot of praying.
So, that's been helping me.
God's been helping me through my injury.
How you doing, Bigfoot? I'm pushing through... There we go.
..using the power of the Holy Ghost. There we go!
The way I became a vicar initiated with a dream that I had.
I remember saying a prayer. I was like,
"God, I want you to show me in a dream tonight
"what you want me to do with my life."
I thought maybe I'd have a dream about being a famous actor,
or a footballer, but you know,
I had a dream that I was dressed as a vicar -
I came sliding out of the vestry, high-fiving the whole congregation.
You good? Yeah, yeah.
Told you, bruv. All right... THEY LAUGH
As a vicar, it is difficult to really go all out
when it comes to self-indulging,
but I believe that everybody needs a break.
TRISH SIGHS
TOMASZ: More water, guys. More water.
TRISH: Oh.
IMANI: Ooh.
Oh! Be careful, you OK?
IMANI: Oh, Trish. MARTHA: Oh, God. Oh, my gosh. You OK?
Are you all right?
OK, I'm coming, I'm coming, wait.
Shit, it's quite high. You OK?
Yeah. Are you sure? Are you sure? Is your knee all right?
Fucking knee. It's her knee again.
Did you twist your ankle or something? Guys, be careful.
There's a bit of a drop-off. Trish... No, my knee.
No? OK. Argh. Are you OK?
Stand for a second. You need to take your pack off? You all right?
No, no, leave it on.
Yeah? Just breathe. There's a bloody great big hole there.
TRISH: Argh! Oh, golly. Yeah, that's a big old hole.
Just be careful, guys, every single step you take.
TRISH: Oh, I'm struggling now.
Oh, yeah, I'm aching from head to toe.
It's my knee. It's really swollen.
TOMASZ: Don't want to be funny, but I stink so much today.
MARTHA: We all smell real bad.
I literally have trench foot right now, I swear.
Oh, shit.
DAVID: Oh, look at that. Look.
IMANI: Oh, no.
What? Guys...
Oh, my word.
Oh, my days. READING: "Book of Temptation.
"Welcome to the spa,
"the perfect place for well-deserved relaxation
"and recuperation after a tough day in the jungle.
"The spa offers you a range of massage treatments
"and beauty services.
"The entrance fee includes the use of the shower,
"drinks, snacks and access to the wellness room,
"as well as our signature mandi bunga aromatherapy floral bath."
MARTHA LAUGHS NERVOUSLY What did I say about I needed a bath?
"See the spa treatment list for experiences available."
HENRY: Oh, OK. Wow. NATHANIEL: Ooh. No. IMANI: All right.
NATHANIEL: How much do you reckon it is?
MARTHA: Shall we have a look?
TRISH: Oh, 500?
That's actually quite a bargain, to be fair.
DAVID VOICEOVER: It feels like heaven has kissed the earth.
It feels like God has opened the heavens
and just dumped a spa right before you,
to help you with your toe.
MARTHA GASPS Look at... Oh, my gosh.
Guys, look at these baths.
TOMASZ GASPS Oh, my God. Bath in the flowers.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God. This is stunning.
This is beautiful.
After not feeling well all day,
and then really struggling through the trek,
having this spa was like a cherry on the cake.
READING: "Coffee scrub." Coffee scrub?
I mean, I'd be licking myself clean after a coffee scrub.
HUGO VOICEOVER: I'll be honest with you. It is tempting
because we just got off a really fucking hard trek.
Being in a nice bathrobe and having, like, a hot bath and stuff.
At home I have a bubble bath every day, OK?
It's very relaxing, it's brilliant.
HENRY LAUGHS You've got Ferrero Rocher here.
IMANI: What's in there? A shower, you know?
A shower.
The only thing to relieve these tight, aching legs
would be a massage.
Hello. TRISH SIGHS
Today's trek was so hard.
It was really emotionally,
physically and mentally draining.
I've got more years behind me than I have in front,
so if I can take away one more experience,
then I'm going to take it.
This is so cool.
NATHANIEL: I wonder how much the treatments are.
So, there's a Malaysian signature massage.
So, that's £500.
The mandi bunga floral bath is included.
It translates to a beautiful flower bath
and is good for spiritual cleansing.
I mean, I'm not going to say who needs one in the group, but yeah.
And there's chocolates right next to the bath.
THOM: To be honest, I just want the chocolate.
And that's expensive chocolate, so, yeah, I'll swerve it.
That's what I was looking at. Henry? Henners?
No, you'd only get dirty again, later and tomorrow, easily.
We've got one more night after this,
and I'm going to be having all the massages
and all of the chocolate possible.
So, yeah, I'm not... I'm out.
IMANI: Sam, what are you thinking?
Er, it's a no from me, thank you.
IMANI: Hugo?
I mean, I do like a massage. Don't get me wrong.
No, I'm going to pass on it.
Yeah. It's, like, a bath and a shower.
Only got one more night after tonight.
Yeah, then I can have as many showers as I want.
So I'm all right for now.
Trish, what are you thinking?
A bath and a shower?
No, not for me. No?
You can have a bloody massage when you get home.
IMANI: With me...
..as lovely as it looks...
..um, yeah,
I'm going to have to leave it behind. NATHANIEL: Go on, Imani. TRISH: Good girl.
Is, is anyone thinking that they want to have a relaxation in here?
I am thinking, because I was talking about it all day.
Yeah, I'm thinking about it. Yeah? That would be my cup of tea.
Plus, the fact that I didn't spend that much money just yet. TOMASZ LAUGHS
Oh, no. We're in trouble.
LAUGHTER Just a little trouble, a little trouble.
It's a waste of money.
The fact that Trish and Imani haven't taken the temptation,
it'd be a bit of a kick in the nuts
if someone starts rinsing the pot now.
TOMASZ: A massage would be amazing, yeah.
What would it be? A grand?
Yeah, a grand. Probably, yeah.
£1,000 for a massage upon entrance, yeah.
How much would you pay for that on the outside, Tomasz, do you reckon?
Well, depends.
100, 200, depends where you go.
If you're in London...
Let me just think. Let me think.
IMANI: David?
DAVID: You know, listen, I feel like saying no.
But I think I need, like, a massage,
especially, my toe's been hurting for so long. MARTHA: You want a foot massage?
We've got two beds, David, one for me, one for you.
What are you thinking, David? Tell us the truth.
We've had a long day, we just want facts now.
No more jokes.
Yeah, no, definitely going to take it.
Yeah?
No, you're not.
I can't tell if he's being serious or not.
Yeah, yeah, I'm going to take it. OK.
Yeah, you know, I really want them
to get deep in the bunion. Yeah?
Urgh, that's made me feel sick a bit.
Oh, my God, David.
I did not see him as someone laying there,
taking a massage. But hey, you know,
this experiment changes some people. Maybe it's changed David.
Sometimes you're tired of organising baptisms,
weddings, funerals. When is it going to end?
When the vicar needs a break,
they need a break, and I needed a break.
I'm saying yes as well. OK, all right.
We're so close to finishing.
They can have a shower in two days.
They can do whatever they want.
I just feel like a spa at this time
is probably unnecessary.
David's attitude towards the temptations is very different
to how he was at the start.
Just doing what the fuck he wants.
Like, taking the ATM, doing the disco
and he's doing the spa.
I don't really trust him any more.
THOM GROANS
Knackering, innit?
I think today has genuinely been my worst day.
It was too much for me, personally.
Sometimes, when you have a really hard trek,
it pushes you towards a temptation.
But on this particular trek, it was so hard
that it almost toughened me up a bit.
And I may have wanted the spa, but I didn't need it.
I clearly have changed,
because I would never turn down a spa at home.
I've got to say, though, Imani, I rate ya.
Because at first, I was thinking, "Oh, this little f..."
IMANI LAUGHS Yeah, like...
Yeah. Do you know what? It feels really good,
though, not to take everything. It does, don't it?
Like, I could have taken that spa. But at the same time,
you know, I don't want to do it just for the sake of it.
I mean, I don't know about you guys,
but I'm starting to smell a little bit fruity,
and not in the nice fruity way that we usually do.
Oh, a bit tangy? Yeah.
A proper shower.
None of us realise how much we actually stink.
God is good.
It's possibly one of the worst sights that I've seen out in Malaysia.
Dave lathering up his body.
PADDY VOICEOVER: As David cleans up...
..and Tomasz drinks up...
Woo!
..all the rest of the group can do
is count the cost from the shared prize pot - a cool £2,000.
Meaning, after 16 days,
they've spent just shy of £117,000.
Cheers, guys in the camp.
Hello, sir. Hello, hello. Hi. Hiya.
The main part is going to be my toe.
I feel sorry for that masseuse, mate, with that toe.
Absolutely disgusting. Oh, I know.
I don't think that's what she signed up for
when she came to work this morning.
Oh, my gosh.
I can see them getting rubbed down with oil right now.
TOMASZ: Oh, my God. David, this is so good.
DAVID: All that trekking. We need to have a time of luxury.
Absolutely. You enjoying yourself?
Yeah. This is really hitting the spot.
That spa was bloody close to getting me.
I actually, like, would like to experience that
and I feel like I've maybe missed out.
Imagine, like, all ten of us camp mates at, like, a birthday party
and there's a table with cake.
It sort of feels like...
..the other nine members have all gone off and have had their share.
But then I go up after and there's sort of,
well, there's nothing there for me.
I think the prize pot is actually quite healthy.
Obviously, I know money's been spent.
But you know, there's still a good amount in there.
Obviously, we'll all come out with something.
But, like, someone like Tomasz is taking a lot
and he will still pretty much walk out with
the same money as Hugo, who's taken nothing.
More and more people have been taking temptations as the time's gone on.
And in a way, that's the thing I've found toughest.
Like, everyone else has sort of claimed money from the prize pot,
and I'm the only person who hasn't. So have I been a little bit naive?
Part of me might sort of kick myself and I might think, "Oh, God.
"I could have got more out of this
"and gone away with either more money or more experiences."
Are you going to worry about what people are going to say in camp,
when we go back? Oh, no, no, no.
I think people in the camp need to understand.
You know, you're a firefighter, I'm a vicar.
Exactly. We're basically real-life superheroes,
and every superhero deserves to take their cape off.
I came into this experience to just have moments
where I can just indulge in the freedom to say yes.
Finally, finally, you speak my language.
There's only one more person that we need to try
and get to take a temptation, and that's Hugo.
He needs to enjoy himself while he's here.
I am just worried that if he's not going to take any temptation,
he will go back to the UK and he will regret that.
That's why you have to enjoy your life while you can.
You don't know what the next day's going to bring
to your life, you know?
Looking back, he'll be like, "Hm, I should have taken this and that."
DAVID: We're older, we're wiser than Hugo.
Surely, we can use some of that wisdom
to inspire him to take something
before this experiment is over?
I think he needs to cut loose a little bit.
PADDY VOICEOVER: It's Day 17.
In just 24 hours,
the group will collect what's left of the 300 grand prize fund.
But they have no idea how much is still intact
or how big - or small - their individual share will be.
SAM VOICEOVER: I'm done. I can see the finishing line
and I'm ready for home.
I did hope to take home around £20,000,
but I think there's still some people in the group
that could take some more temptations
if they came our way before the finishing line.
So we'll see what comes today.
Look at the beautiful spa.
How gorgeous this looks, like. Oh, I know.
It makes you feel like you're on holiday,
which let's not forget, this is not a holiday. MARTHA: Yeah.
This is roughing, hard trekking through the jungle.
This is why we've done it our way, babe.
We've trekked, we've suffered,
but then we've also added moments of joy.
Yeah. And then also, like, when it comes to my temptations,
I think I've chosen, like,
the most glam temptations for the best price.
Yeah. You've probably had the best experience. The best temptations, yeah.
But you haven't spent the most.
You've enjoyed yourself, babe, and that's what you came to do.
I would regret it if I wouldn't take any of those.
And as you know, I've got no regrets so far.
Yeah. Yeah, that's the thing.
You don't want a live a life with regrets, do you? Yeah.
I'm glad I've done what I've done.
It's nice to enjoy your life.
And you know what?
I've learned that I actually, for a change,
can put myself as first, you know?
PADDY VOICEOVER: Just one last trek lies between the group
and the final campsite of their 18-day journey.
All right. Oh, gosh. Whoa. TRISH: Oh. THOM: Oh, nice, yeah.
PADDY VOICEOVER: It will test their resolve and stamina,
as they'll need to fight through dense jungle to reach the coast.
And with most of them running on empty,
they'll all need to pull together.
Let's go. TOMASZ: Yeah, let's go. Let's do this, guys. Water.
TRISH VOICEOVER: I think today's just going to be a challenging one again.
My knee's painful, yeah, when I'm walking.
I'm definitely worried about Trish today.
I don't know how her knee's going to hold up.
She's, she's really struggling. She's in a lot of pain. Ooh.
We're straight into a hill. MARTHA CHUCKLES
Marvellous. Straight into it.
Whew!
Oh, my gosh. This is steep.
Ooh.
Go on, Trish.
It is quite painful to walk.
I, I feel the pain.
TRISH GRUNTS I would be absolutely gutted
if I would have to pull out of this experiment
because of a knee injury.
I could come away from this with nothing.
I'm going to keep going.
It's like stopping a marathon three quarters of the way through
and giving up.
Anyone that's done a marathon knows you finish.
So I'm going to bloody finish.
DAVID: How you finding it?
Do you not feel, like, left out for not taking any temptations?
No, I think because from this experience,
the main thing I'm trying to gain from it is...
..testing myself.
Yeah, I think you've really achieved what you were aiming to achieve.
You know, I've seen a lot of growth and strength in you,
inspiration as well. Oh, thanks, David. Thanks, mate.
I'm definitely proud, you being, like, the youngest,
pushing this far.
So I wouldn't want you to overdo it by not taking anything.
If you took one temptation,
I don't think anyone would hold it against you.
Er, mate, honestly, I do appreciate,
like, having kind of an outside perspective
and I will think about it.
The biggest thing that's been going through my head is
just proving that I, like, have some sort of willpower.
HUGO CHUCKLES But now I've sort of been thinking that,
"Shall I just stop this whole thing,
"with trying to not give in to temptations and have fun?"
Say there was something that I felt like
I couldn't experience back home,
a once-in-life opportunity, maybe I would have to,
like, weigh up as to whether to take it or not.
PADDY VOICEOVER: As the group near the end of their final trek,
they're about to be faced with
the most lavish temptation of their journey so far,
and we've really pushed the boat out on this one.
PADDY SIGHS Every now and again,
it's nice to get out of those sweaty jungle clothes,
slip on a nice shirt and sip on a glass of bubbles.
But will our fortune-seekers feel the same when they see this?
Waiting to lift anchor and set sail is this world-class,
49-metre yacht,
where they can soak up the stunning tropical vistas
from three sunbathing decks and a jacuzzi.
The crew will provide seven-star service,
from a gourmet banquet to an overnight stay
in air-conditioned, uber-luxurious cabins.
This truly is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
But once they see the price, will everyone be onboard?
IMANI: Oh, yay. We're at camp!
MARTHA: Look at it.
TOMASZ: Beautiful, guys. Well done, everyone!
TRISH GROANS Oh, my knee. TOMASZ:Oh, God. Trish, well done.
Trish, did you enjoy that? Well done. HENRY: Well done, everyone.
Well done. Thank you, guys.
You should be proud of yourself, though.
That was, that was another tough one.
I couldn't give up this close to the end.
SHIP HORN BLARES
I don't know what that noise is.
SHIP HORN CONTINUES BLARING I think that's for us, though.
Let's have a look. Let's just go and have a look.
HUGO: Guys, I think that's where the sea is. I thought the sea was there.
TOMASZ: Breathe, guys. Breathe.
MARTHA: I can see a yacht, but I don't know if it's for us.
TRISH READING: "The Book of Temptation."
Ooh.
"On the horizon is a luxury superyacht,
"waiting to take you on the ultimate,
"once-in-a-lifetime sailing experience."
THEY GASP AWED EXCLAMATIONS
"It is the epitome of high-end luxury.
"You'll be able to dress up in your very own outfits..."
EXCITABLE LAUGHTER
"..to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience."
THEY GASP EXCITABLE SQUEALING Oh, my God.
NATHANIEL: This has got to be expensive, boy. IMANI: I know.
Where's the price?
That will be mega.
It'll be an insane experience.
The fortune-seekers are en route to a stunning superyacht.
TRISH: Look at that.
With only 24 hours to go until the experiment is over,
will any of them be able to resist this once-in-a-lifetime temptation?
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, wow.
IMANI: Oh, this is stunning.
TOMASZ: Oh, my gosh. That's insane.
Ah, this is what dreams are made of, I'm telling you.
MARTHA GASPS Oh, there's a Chocolate Orange, Hugo!
Oh, what?! Oh, my God.
Guys, if I'm staying here, right,
I'm claiming that whole bloody orange.
Look at my shirt.
TRISH: Oh... Is it yours? It's mine.
Oh, my God. I want to see the rest of your clothes...
There's a little peephole.
That's insane, isn't it? It's cool.
That's, that's priceless.
It is my kind of thing.
Test out the... IMANI LAUGHS
Oh, my gosh.
TRISH SIGHS Ah. Oh, my God. They smell amazing.
That's lovely.
TRISH: There's a humongous shower. And a bath.
SAM: I wonder what it's going to cost us, boys.
I'm just going to wait to see what the motley crew upstairs do.
Then I'll make my decision.
All I want to know is the price.
Yeah. Yeah.
This is, like, the complete polar opposite
to what we have just experienced.I know. TRISH LAUGHS
Yeah, I mean, like, seriously, it is.
But, like, literally, this is everything
we've wanted wrapped into one... IMANI SQUEALS
..including, where's Hugo? The chocolate orange.
The whole thing is just going in in one, OK?
First thing I'd do here, forget all the fucking cabins, the sun deck.
All right, let's see the price.
Shall we see? TOMASZ: It's killing me, guys. It's killing me. HUGO: Feisty.
My hands are sweaty, they're sweating more than the treks
because I'm this nervous. OK, can we all see?
TRISH: Three, two, one,
go.
OK. So, five people is ten grand
and ten people is 15 grand.
PADDY VOICEOVER: The group is facing a difficult dilemma.
The yacht experience is only available at two prices.
The lower price of £10,000 would pay for up
to five people to remain onboard,
whereas the higher price of £15,000 would mean all ten
of them could indulge.
There's one thing that I would love more than anything else
for all of us to do it.
We've been going through so much hell through the last 18 days
and if everyone do it,
we don't even have to treat this as a temptation.
We can treat this as a proper retreat
because we deserve it.
DAVID: Right, we need to find out
who definitely wants to stay on the yacht.
I think we'll have a lot of fun as a group.
So I think if everyone's in, I don't mind,
but otherwise I'd probably be out.
Yeah, well, I'm definitely saying yes.
So, I'm, I'm in the middle at the moment.
I'm, I'm swinging in-between. So, it'll be based on
the rest of you guys.
Trish, what are you thinking?
This is the first time I've ever stepped on a yacht,
let alone stay on it.
So, I'm, I'm definitely up for it, definitely. You're in?
You guys know me. I don't even to say yes or no.
You, like, yeah, I'd like to stay on it. So...
I am saying yes, 100%.
OK, fine. Copy that. IMANI AND MARTHA LAUGH
"Now that you've pushed my hand." Now you've pushed me, twisted my leg.
We're at the deal breaker now.
I think that right now, we've got five definite people.
Because if you say yes,
then we're in the 15,000 zone
and everyone might as well jump onboard.
All right, yeah, I'm in.
PADDY VOICEOVER: Now that six people have given in to the temptation,
all ten of the group are entitled to this lavish experience.
So, for those yet to decide,
it's a question of principle over cost.
Thom?
It, it, to me, I'll tell you the truth, right?
It seems a waste cos it's paid for.
I wouldn't have paid for it, I wouldn't have put my name down,
but it's paid for.
But I would like to end it with you, do you know what I mean?
You know, we could tell, we could say
this is the last, today's the last day.
Hugo?
Guys, look, it's got the chocolate orange,
it's got all my clothes here, right?
You know, lovely bed,
so I can get tucked in by one of you before I got to sleep.
You know that I'm being a bit stubborn, right?
I want to kind of go the whole experience,
you know, to try and show my willpower,
resisting temptations, but...
You've done it. The treks are done.
It's going to have to be a no, guys.
The job's not done yet, so it'd be, it'd be kind of, from my end,
it'd be silly to have a night here. No, I can't take it.
Give me a high five.
I love your willpower. Fair play to you.
What are you saying, Henry?
Obviously, I have to be with Hugo tonight.
Oh, buddy. And I've worked quite hard in this
to resist temptation after temptation.
And now, I'm so close to the finish line,
I want to get to the end.
Yeah, that's fair enough. Ah, mate, fair play to you.
Yeah. TRISH: Thom, you... Thom, you might as well do it, then.
I don't want you to be kind of doing something
because it's going to please me.
You've already kind of demonstrated that by not going to the disco.
Tomorrow, we'll cross the finish line together.
Do you know what I mean?
DAVID: Yeah, you'll see him in the morning.
Fuck it, I'll stay, then.
CHEERING
THOM VOICEOVER: My initial, initial feeling was guilt.
I looked at Hugo and I thought, "No." Do you know what I mean?
He's got exactly the same choice here as me.
We were both pushed into it.
I'm not spending 1,500 quid and not getting on it.
He's got his own personal journey, which is absolutely fair enough.
DAVID: Sam, what are you saying?
Yeah, I'm staying, thank you.
Wahey! Ooh, come on.
If Tomasz and Imani are staying, I'm staying.
As soon as Tomasz and Imani had said
that they were staying on the yacht,
it was so easy for me. It was a case of,
"Well, you're spending my money. I'm going to spend yours."
And I'm really going to indulge
and enjoy myself on this superyacht.
Well, glad we could inspire you, darling.
Oh, you haven't inspired me.
Oh, I think we have.
PADDY VOICEOVER: The mammoth 15 grand spend from the prize pot has paid
for all ten of the group to set sail.
But Hugo and Henry have decided to head back to camp.
Listen to me one second.
Yeah.
Really, really think about it, mate.
Honestly, I have. I have thought about it.
I understand your, you've got the same mindset as me, mate,
as, like, when I came in. I'm not taking anything.
Mm-hmm. It's paid for already.
I'm doing this. I'm not being funny,
but I can do this in the outside world.
Like, even something to aspire towards. I know.
Listen, look at me. You've gone 17 days with nothing.
Nothing. Mm-hmm.
Why should you go back to camp and not stay?
I just, trust me, I'd kick myself so fucking badly, genuinely.
I'll be honest with you. When I started this experience,
I didn't think I had a chance of resisting temptations.
Bye, guys. See you, guys. Have a good evening.
But in here, there's something that's, like, taken hold of me,
where I've become, like, so invested in completing this goal,
that if I was to fail, I'd feel, like,
an enormous sense of disappointment.
See you, guys.
SAM: Come on, Hugo! It's paid for!
So, yeah, I've grown a lot during this experience
and changed my outlook on what I value.
I think the prize pot has gone right down now,
but the rest of the group are coming on this yacht
and having a great time at my expense.
Oh, thank you very much, kind sir.
So I'm going to stuff my face, I'm going to drink
and hopefully, upset everyone else's night. SAM LAUGHS
SHIP HORN BLARES
This is what I wanted from the beginning,
you know, everyone enjoying temptation.
You're a little boy in a man's body.
Even on a superyacht,
Sam is showcasing negativity.
I've got one final temptation.
In that bag is £20,000.
Wow. Wow.
One pair has the potential
to steal £20,000.
THOM: There's not one person in that camp
who wouldn't be talked into taking that money.
Someone's leaving with that pot. Why can't it be us?
