[SATORU] My name is Satoru Mikami,

or rather, Rimuru Tempest.

I used to be an ordinary human,

a salary man working

for a major general contracting firm.

But... then I kind of got stabbed to death

and subsequently reincarnated as a slime.

I knew there was no sense in wondering

how or why it happened,

so I decided I would try to enjoy my new slife instead.

Before I knew it, I had a ton of new friends,

and together, we built an entire nation of monsters

called Tempest,

and I became its leader.

Of course, I had to deal with some interference

from people who didn't like that,

but I overcame those challenges,

and in doing so,

ascended to the title of Demon Lord.

Not long after that,

Tempest held its grand opening festival.

It was a huge success,

and now we're one step closer to my goal

of building a world where humans and monsters

can live together in harmony.

And while we've come a long way,

our work isn't done yet.

Right now, though,

it's time for a hard-earned break.

So we're headed to Elmesia's resort

to celebrate the success of our festival.
