I hadn't already concluded

He had not.

After that, I recall planning
another review

of Ms. Garvey's personal life,

and then...

nothing.

Until the moment I was walking
up our front steps

carrying a head.

So the last thing we know,
you were working the case.

Naturally, I wondered whether
the head might have something

to do with Ms.
Garvey's murder.

obvious links.

and that man's facial structure
suggests they are unrelated.

We've seen no evidence

that she had a lover,

If he wasn't showing

any symptoms, then Eric
never had the flu at all.

And if Voth had
tested Eric's tissue,

he would have known that.

Meaning he wouldn't have had any
motive to commit the murders.

So our theory of the crime
is wrong.

Wu Meili and her family

contracted bird flu

that Eric was asymptomatic

he could have infected people

Eric simultaneously must have

that they had bought Eric's body

to something shady, too.
