>> Mr. President, last year at this uh

assembly, you said that you think

Ukraine can take back all its territory.

Do you still think that's the case or

what do you think they're going to have

to give up for peace to happen in

Ukraine?

>> Well, I think they're going to make a

deal, and I don't want to say what the

deal is. We talk about it a lot,

including with President Putin, and I

think something's going to happen, but

uh certainly they are very good

fighters. Really, they can be proud of

themselves regardless. We'll see what

happens, but very, very capable people.

>> Mr. President, Mr. very capable

leadership.

>> Mr. President, the strikes inside Russia

on the refining capacity and the diesel.

It seems like that's been a serious hit

on the Russians. Uh can you talk?

>> Well, it is a serious hit on the

Russians. It's also a serious hit on the

price of diesel. The diesel oil, diesel

fuel is uh gone up quite a bit, but

we'll be talking about that. But no,

it's a very serious hit certainly on

Russia. Mr. President,

>> so a lot of people in the UK are very

worried about the mood music from the UK

and other European leaders about the

inevitability of direct conflict between

us and Russia. Can you stop?

>> Well, you're talking about the UK and

Russia.

>> Yes. And the UK I think you'll be okay,

but I will say the rhetoric from your

last prime minister was too tough. He

has to be a little bit careful.

>> And this one?

>> Well, I haven't heard the rhetoric too

much, but I think he's going to be good.

I will say he's on your side very much

and uh but it's a very interesting thing

that you say. I've seen that dialogue

and that dialogue is is too nasty.

>> President Senator Sullivan today has

called for a ban on diesel exports. A

temporary ban

>> on what?

>> A ban on diesel exports. Chuck Rasley

called for the same thing. Mike Rogers

called for the same thing. Is that

something you're considering? If so,

>> well, I've called for that, too. I' I've

said let's not send out the diesel. We

make a lot of diesel. that could have a

little bit of an effect on regular

automobile gasoline because when you do

that, you know, it's a sort of a flow.

It's a balance. But no, I've called for

it. I've called for it within my people.

I've been talking about it. Scott, do

you want to talk about that for a sec?

>> Uh, yeah, we're examining that whether

the whether it's feasible in terms of

the overall refining capacity and

whether a full or partial ban would

work.

>> Is there a timeline [clears throat] for

a decision on that, David?

>> One way or the other. Mr. President, Mr.

President, Mr. President, if uh

President Zilinski told us once that he

is ready to come to Miami for G20 summit

and sit down with you and Vladimir

Putin. If you extend this invitation to

Vladimir Putin, will he respect it? Will

he join you?

>> Well, I don't know. I I know that he

will meet and we've had a meeting

already in Alaska. I think he do another

one. I don't know about Miami. We have a

big thing happening in Miami very soon.

But no, he'll meet. He's willing to

meet. He's willing. He'd like to see the

war ended

>> with both you and President.

>> I think they both want to see the war

ended to be honest with you. It's time a

lot of people being killed and they

don't want that. But I think they both

want to see the war ended.

>> Mr. President Trump, are you president

how does the deal look between with the

Barusian president over potach? And if

that goes through, are you concerned

that the money for that deal would

strengthen Russia's hand at all in the

world?

>> No, not at all. But the Barus has a lot

of pesh and our farmers need good prices

and we want to get a lower price than

Canada.

>> We'll continue to go with Canada but but

Barus would like to sell it for a much

lower price.

>> You said there's not much. Has anyone

from your team met with the Iranian

delegation? Anyone from or plans to meet

with what you say?

>> Yeah. Today.

>> How was that conversation, Mr.

President?

>> About an hour ago.

>> Okay.

>> Went very well. It ended an hour ago. It

was a meeting that lasted for three

hours. It ended an hour ago.

>> What was that?

>> It was a very good meeting. I mean, I

must tell you, it's a very good I can't

imagine why they wouldn't want to do it.

It's a greatness, potential greatness or

obliteration.

>> Two choices. I mean, it's

>> in one case it's obliteration and the

other alternative is potential

greatness. It could be a great country.

>> Mr. President Trump, are you planning to

implement the Lindsy Graham bill? That's

one of the questions that Ukrainians are

very interested about.

>> It's something we're certainly studying.

It's a very severe bill. Very severe,

very tough. Yeah.

>> Are you planning

>> very very strongly?

>> Are you planning to bring it up with

your meeting with President of China

because it might impact him in the first

way.

>> I'll probably talk about we're going to

talk about a lot. It's going to be a

great meeting and we're going to have a

look, we have a very good relationship.

Look, he likes China. I like the US. He

loves China. I love the US.

Uh, that's the way it is. But we're

going to have a big It's a big deal

tomorrow night, I tell you. Everybody

wants to be there. Everybody wants to be

there.

>> I wish we had the ballroom. If we had

the ballroom, we could have 2,000

people. But we have a very small room,

but uh, as one of the papers reported,

that's the hottest ticket that they've

seen in a long time. When President Xi

comes in, almost as hot as when Zalinski

comes into town.

>> I'm ready.

>> Will it bring Zilinski to the ballroom

next time? What

>> would bring Zilinski to the ball?

>> Well, we might have that. Yes, it's

going to be it's under budget and ahead

of schedule.

>> Mr. President, Mr. President,

>> can you tell us a little bit more about

this Iranian meeting? Did Mr. Kushner,

Mr. Wood participate?

>> Well, there's nothing to say. They had a

very good meeting, very productive

meeting, and they have another one

scheduled in the very near future. And I

think Steve, if you want to Jared want

to say something, but they had a very

productive meeting. Yes. a day you don't

want to say something stupid.

>> Can you give us something Mr. President

today?

>> How are you feeling after that meeting?

>> I feel very good right now.

>> How will you feel tomorrow?

>> I feel very good.

>> It's a blessing working for for

President Trump.

>> They had a very good meeting and we'll

see how it turns out. But certainly it's

to their advantage to make a deal. And

if we can do that, it's preferable. I

guess you know there's two alternatives

and you heard them in my speech today.

One is a very bad thing and another it

could lead to greatness for the country.

So I would think they'd want to do that.

>> Mr. President, how they had a good

meeting. Yeah, please.

>> You announced the possible production of

Patriot missiles in Ukraine. Would you

be able to deliver on

>> possible? We're talking about that.

We'll be talking about that now.

>> See, if you would have come in at the

end, we would have had an answer, but

we'll be talking about that now. Very

capable production. I mean, we talk

about it all the time. Very capable

people. Really amazingly capable people.
