all things that I love to do
and things that I may never be able to do again.
I had to dig deep
and fight to get my voice back in every way.
I worked hard to be able to stand on my own two feet.
And I had to face my own hometown,
where some people thought that this was my fault.
Why is it a different set of rules for men and women;
that "boys will be boys"
and girls are just "asking for it"?
I made a mistake,
and I own that,
but I didn't deserve this.
