Original subtitles

Thanks for helping me with the groceries today.

Of course.

What are step-sons for?

You really ought to drop this step already. We're family.

You're right. You're right.

I'm sorry.

So, do you need help putting the groceries away too, Mom?

Oh, no, no, no. I have a system.

And the last time you helped me, I couldn't find anything.

Why don't you just go find something else to do while I finish up?

Are you sure?

Yeah.

Why don't you help me get up here, though?

All right.

Oh, thank you.

You're the best helper.

Anytime.

Oh, hey, so did you remember to get my favorite cereal?

Of course.

What kind of mom would I be without getting your favorite cereal?

Yeah, you're the best.

Oh, and that new coffee?

You know, I really think you have a little too much caffeine, but you know I

did get that.

Has it been helping you stay alert during that math class?

Oh, yeah, it's been a big help. Oh, good.

It's been a lot of late nights.

I've noticed your light's been on in your room every night, and I just keep

asking myself, what is he doing in there?

Just studying.

There's a lot more information than I thought.

Well, you really ought to get some more sleep, honey.

I know.

I can't really afford to do that right now.

You work too hard.

But that's why I get you all the best snacks.

And I appreciate you.

Did you get anything for yourself?

Um, not really.

Well, how come?

I don't really do a lot of snacking. You know that.

Well, did you have any plans for dinner?

Um, no. What do you want to do for dinner?

Hmm.

Do you want to go out?

There's a really nice little hamburger place that just opened up around the

corner.

Hamburgers? We just did all this grocery shopping.

Why don't you let me make you something?

How about that roast that we had a couple weeks ago?

That was amazing.

Yeah, that was really good. See, a home-cooked meal.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Well, you are an amazing cook.

Yeah.

Have you been sharing your snacks at school?

Well, yeah.

Everyone's been hungry and I can't help but share with my friends. You see,

because I thought I got more of your favorite little pastry snacks, but it

seems like we're out, so I'll have to add that to the list.

Man, already?

For our next trip, yes.

Can we get the chocolate ones this time?

Of course.

You know I like my honey buns, though.

Oh, those are good, but can we not get the off-brand ones?

They have a weird taste to them, you know?

Yeah.

I know you like them real sweet.

I'll tell you what.

I feel like I'm going to need to get a bigger kitchen.

Why do you say that?

Well, with all this food you're eating, I feel like I've got no room to put it.

Well, I'm growing.

What do you expect?

You are my growing boy.

I'm also burning a lot of energy with all this schoolwork.

And sports.

Yeah, you know how stressed I've been. I know.

It's a lot of work trying to keep up with the varsity... first string.

Yeah, coach has been pushing me really hard this year.

Oh.

Well... Just remember, you gotta keep those grades up. That always comes

first. I know, I know, Mom.

Are you still pining over that one girl in your math class?

No, it's not even like that.

Besides, I don't even think she likes me.

Oh, well that's a shame.

Her loss.

You think so?

Yeah, definitely.

My sweet boy is the best thing for any woman.

Oh, I don't know about that.

You're my mother, you have to say that.

No, but I mean it.

You're really great, honey.

Thanks, Mom.

So if I asked her out, do you think she'd say yes?

If she doesn't, you need to let me know.

And then I'll have a little talk with her about that.

Please don't.

Come on, I'm old enough to handle those situations myself.

Okay fine, I won't meddle, but maybe just don't tell me about it then.

Fair enough.

Oh, did you also get almond milk? I forgot to ask you.

Oh, um, I did. Yes, we did get almond milk, and I also got creamer for the

coffee. Oh, thank you.

Yeah. Yeah, you know how I like my creamer. Oh, I know. You love your

creamer.

Especially during the holidays.

Oh, yeah.

Hopefully you're going to be home for the holidays.

Well, they're giving us some time off, so I'm hoping to come back.

Okay, well... Just make sure you come home.

You know how much I like spending time with you.

I know, Mom.

I like spending time with you, too.

It's always good to be home.

Well,

why don't you go ahead and help me down from here?

I'm going to go ahead and finish up.

and get started on that roast, and I'll let you know when it's ready.

Sounds good.

Thanks, Mom.

Hey, sweetie.

Hey, Mom.

What's cooking?

Oh, you know, I'm just learning how to make beef and broccoli.

Oh, really?

What are you doing to the broccoli?

Um, I am sauteing it. I remember you said this morning that you were craving

some Chinese food.

So I figured I'd make something for you.

Oh, you didn't have to do that.

Oh, yes I do.

I know how stressed you are during exams and I just want to do something that'll,

you know, help you out a little bit.

Well, thanks. You're really nice for that.

Of course, sweetie.

Anything for you.

Doesn't that just smell so good?

Oh, yeah.

That smells amazing.

You said you were using beef, right? Yes, beef.

Do you know what kind?

Um, you know, I think it's Wagyu.

I'm not entirely sure.

We're getting fancy tonight, huh?

Whatever rocks up.

The charge is on your dad's card.

My favorite pastime.

And what are you sauteing the broccoli in?

Just some olive oil.

It's supposed to be healthier for you.

Right on.

I think I've made enough that there might be some leftovers for you to take

to school with you tomorrow.

Oh, really?

Mm-hmm.

Oh, that's going to be so good.

Yeah. I'll actually have something to get me through my day. Yeah.

You're so busy, I hardly see you anymore.

I know.

But I'm doing what I'm supposed to. Right.

Keeping up with my sports and my studies.

That's so good.

And you're doing so well managing all that stress during your exams.

I try.

Well, you're doing a great job.

Thank you.

It's nice to come home and get a little bit of a release every once in a while.

I bet.

This is really looking so good.

Yeah. I really appreciate the home-cooked meals every time I come

back.

And I enjoyed making them for you, sweetie.

What's that you got in there?

So I've got a little bit of broccoli, beef, of course, which we, you know,

wagyu.

And then I did soy sauce, salt and pepper, and then a little bit of hoisin

sauce. Oh.

Yeah.

Is that a pepper in there? I see.

There's a little bit of pepper, like a chili paste.

And then what was the other thing? Oh, rice vinegar.

Oh. Yeah.

God, I can taste it already.

yeah i just found this recipe um i got this really cool book oh did you what's

it about um recipes mostly um i got it because i just enjoy making all these

meals for you right i mean what kind of cuisine um you know it's a variety of

things they have a section for chinese food um a section for irish food german

food

They have a really intimidating section on Indian food, but... Wow.

So you have a whole variety.

Yeah, it's really nice.

That sounds amazing. Which means that you'll get a lot of variety, since you

like my home cooking so much.

Oh, definitely.

It is getting so hot in this kitchen.

Well, I mean, you are cooking right over the stove.

I know.

It is just... I enjoy just being in the kitchen with you, but we

really do need to get that AC fixed.

Is it really still broken?

Yeah, you know how your father is.

Oh my god.

Got a long list of to-dos for him.

What I should do is get my real honey to get that stuff done, but he's in school.

That's you.

Thanks, Mom.

Dad is just so cheap.

Oh, we can't get mad at him. You know I spend all the money.

He kind of has to be a little frugal.

Yeah, you do have pretty terrible spending habits.

I do.

I mean, look it, I'm making Wagyu beef for you.

Expensive, but I think it's worth it. I think so, and I love how you appreciate

it.

Well, thanks to you, I've got myself a refined palate.

That's good. I just hope you can find a girl who can cook for you like I can.

You know?

Geez, I don't know if that's going to be possible.

I actually agree with you on that.

About how long do you think until dinner's ready?

Um, it is actually almost done.

little bit the key is to slow steam it in the pan is what i was reading oh

interesting why is that um i think it just like marinates all the

seasonings or something so what are the sides going to be for dinner um i don't

know i was thinking maybe like rice goes really well with chinese food um egg

rolls would be good but i feel like you'd be the only one eating them

Would you like me to make some egg rolls?

Oh my god, egg rolls sound so good.

Yeah?

Well, I guess I can do that.

What else would go really well? I feel like rice and egg rolls is probably

perfect with this beef and broccoli.

White rice, yeah?

Yes.

You don't like the brown rice anymore?

Honestly, no.

Oh. I think it has kind of a strange taste to it. Oh, yeah.

Well, I'll go ahead and make some white rice, but if you're okay with it, we

only have jasmine.

Oh, that'll be fine.

Okay.

This is really coming along nicely.

You're gonna love it, I promise.

I've worked so hard on this one.

Oh, I already know I'll love it.

You're just so easy to please.

That might be true, but I'm getting impatient.

Me too.

I'm actually getting really hungry.

Gosh, I have been starving all day.

Did you not get any lunch today?

No, I didn't.

Oh, I really think this is about to be done.

It's about to be finished.

Smells so good. I can't wait for you to try it.

I can't wait to try it either.

Well, why don't you let me know when dinner's done? I'm gonna go to my room

and study real quick.

Okay, I'll see you in a little bit.

I'll see you. Thanks, Mom.

Hey, what's for dinner tonight?

I don't know yet.

I'm actually going through Nana's old cookbook, just seeing what recipes

strike out to me.

Is there anything you're craving?

Oh, if that's true, I guess that means there's no hamburgers tonight?

Come on, you can have hamburgers any old silly time with your friends.

Let me cook something for you.

All right.

And I'm not craving anything specific, but...

I am hungry.

Well, we had Italian a couple weeks ago, Japanese last week.

Um, I don't know.

You sure there's nothing you want to try?

Honestly,

why don't we try something that you want to eat for a change?

I really want you to be happy too.

You are such a darling.

Cereal it is.

Come on, Mom.

What do you want?

I don't know.

There's a really good lasagna recipe in here, but...

Is that something you'd be interested in?

Uh...

Maybe not lasagna tonight.

You have a whole recipe of new stuff.

Let's see here.

Mmm.

Beef stroganoff sounds really good.

You know how much I love my beef.

Yeah, considering how expensive sides are.

Considering how expensive the cuts you get are.

Oh yeah, that Wagyu beef on that receipt.

Your father did not like that.

We could always go with the cheap meat, like chicken.

Yeah, definitely not.

Picky boy.

It's okay, I like the challenge.

This one looks really good.

It's a ramen recipe, and I think I have some bone broth left over from

that four-pack I bought.

What kind of ramen?

Well, it's a beef bone broth, so probably beef?

I mean, that sounds good. Yeah? What else is in it?

So I think we've got some green onions.

Thinly slice those.

We've got some carrots, which I'll have to start chopping up pretty soon. And

then maybe some beef.

I can't remember. Do you like tofu?

God, no.

Are we vegan around here or what? No.

Just trying to, you know, keep my figure.

This growing college.

Boy, son in my house just keeps, you know, eating all the hearty stuff.

Yeah, you and your figure.

This low-calorie stuff isn't cutting it.

I'm always still hungry after.

Well, maybe I just need to give you more to eat.

I never feel like there's enough in here.

You've got the biggest appetite.

You're definitely like your father.

Okay, so I'm gonna save this ramen recipe as an option.

But with the changing weather, I was actually thinking about this tomato soup

recipe.

And we got some sourdough bread and some Gouda cheese.

Ooh. Grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup sound good?

That sounds amazing.

I think the only thing I'm lacking is a little bit of creamer.

Actually, did you remember to pick up basil from the store?

Um... You know, I think we do have a little bit of basil left from the

store. I've got two recipes saved.

Let's see, what else can we do here?

How about something Italian?

I mean, we did have it two weeks ago, but...

Maybe we can do... Do you like pizza?

Pizza is so basic.

Well, not if I put it on some French bread.

Do you like a French bread type of pizza?

Does that sound good?

That actually does sound good.

And then we can have some chicken wings.

What kind?

No, I mean, you know that I like the sweeter stuff.

Okay, we can do like a... Well, let me see what we have in here.

Okay.

Next to this pizza recipe, there's also a recipe for honey mustard sauce.

So we could do like a honey mustard chicken wing.

Are you in a honey mustard mood?

Oh, honey.

I'm in whatever mood you want me to be in.

But this is supposed to be what you want tonight.

True.

Um, well then maybe we can go ahead and do teriyaki.

I feel like that's a good balance because it's sweet and a little bit

hearty.

You know?

Yeah. Now boneless or bone in?

Hmm.

So wingless?

Or boneless or bone-in?

Um, I was really thinking bone-in just always seemed so much better.

You know?

I agree.

I feel like the meat tastes better.

Yeah.

Hmm.

I'm gonna go ahead and save this one.

But we're gonna do teriyaki. That's good for you?

Yeah.

Teriyaki sounds amazing.

Is there anything else you're thinking about?

You like blue cheese.

I do.

I love blue cheese.

How come you never liked ranch?

I don't know. There's something about it. I just like the blue cheese better.

I think you're a little weird for that one.

I'm eccentric, not weird.

You're old school, Mom.

I just have really good taste.

And I'm teaching you, remember?

You're right.

You know more about this than I do.

Very worldly, son.

Speaking of worldly, remember I was telling you I'm a little intimidated by

some Indian recipes?

Yeah. Well, I think I want to try out this butter chicken.

Butter chicken?

Butter chicken recipe.

Okay, what's that? You ever had it?

No.

It's really good. It's like just a mix of seasonings like curry and

you could use like a coconut cream base.

It's really, you know, super yummy. You usually eat it with rice.

Put some tandoori chicken in there.

Oh, yogurt.

That's actually really important.

You have to marinate the chicken in yogurt.

That's what I was reading.

That's really interesting, actually.

Why yogurt?

I think when you char it, because you have to cook the chicken at a super high

heat, when you char it, it does something to the chicken. I don't know.

I'm still learning these things.

And then we could do some naan with it.

That's super simple.

That sounds great to me.

I love Indian food.

It's my favorite.

It's just so much work.

Well, when was the last time you had Jamaican?

When I went on that cruise with your father.

That was the last time. I've never made it though.

God, that was so long ago too.

Yeah, I wonder if we could do like some jerk chicken?

Right? Ooh, that'd be good.

With some pineapple and again with the rice.

We have so much rice.

It kind of goes with everything, right? It does.

That's true. That's true.

Let's see. Oh, you know what we could do is breakfast for dinner.

Isn't that so American?

It is, but I feel like I'm just in a silly, goofy kind of mood.

And pancakes, eggs, and bacon just sound so good right now.

I can even do a little smiley face on it. You know, kind of like how you used

to enjoy it.

I mean, that does sound pretty good. Remember I used to make those pancakes?

Yeah, that was fun.

And you know that I can always go for bacon.

Oh, yes.

I mean, who doesn't love meat?

Especially my growing boy.

Oh, yeah.

So then that's a yes to breakfast?

I would totally be okay with that.

But what else does that have?

So let's see what we have so far. We have grilled cheese and tomato soup.

French bread pizza with wings.

There was one other one.

Oh, you said no to the lasagna.

I can't remember. There was one other one that I saved.

What about Caribbean?

Now I just think you're getting real creative with these ideas.

Well, you're the one with the book, and you said it has a whole lot of variety,

so... Jamaican, Caribbean... I don't know, I'm kind of thinking that

Mediterranean sounded really good.

Yeah?

Mediterranean does sound pretty good.

You want to put it on the list?

Yeah, let's put that on the list.

I'll go ahead and earmark it.

What else do you have in that famous little book of yours?

My famous little book? You mean your Nana's famous little book?

Okay, but it's yours now, right?

I mean, it is mine, and then one day when you meet a lovely woman, I'm gonna

pass it on down to her so she can continue to make recipes like I make

them for my son.

Well, even if you give her the whole recipe, it probably won't turn out the

same as yours, Mom.

I probably agree with that, because...

There's just something about mom's home cooking.

Oh, yeah.

That's what I look forward to when I come back home.

It's the only reason you come back home.

That's not the only reason.

I mean, it's the big reason. You just enjoy, you know, my company and my food.

Well, yeah.

How hungry are you?

Gosh, at this point, I could eat an elephant.

You're always hungry.

I don't know.

You always make fun of me for that.

Yeah.

I just think when you're in school, you don't focus on eating your lunch.

Well, if I had more time, I would totally eat.

But my schedule is so busy and so stressful, I don't have time.

Yeah, I bet.

So when's your next game?

It's actually next Friday. Oh, next Friday? Okay, I'm going to be there.

Let's see, do you want me to bring some snacks?

Ooh, I can bring some snacks for your team. I think they liked that last time.

Oh, please do that.

Be careful.

One of my buddies was eyeing you.

No.

Why would he be eyeing me? I'm just your mom.

I don't know. He has a crush. You know how guy friends are.

Am I like the hot mom in the group?

Ew.

Don't say that.

Come on.

You know you like your mom.

Anyways.

The snacks.

What do we have? What are you going to bring?

Um, let's see.

I could probably bring like beef jerky.

Maybe some nuts?

That sounds good.

Yeah?

Do you think you could make something?

Um, I can make some Rice Krispie treats.

Does that sound good?

Yeah, that sounds good.

Maybe some brownies?

Ooh, how about scotch-a-roonies? Ooh, scotch-a-roonies. Those are really good.

You'll have to go to the store with me again.

Okay. I'm gonna have to get some ingredients for that one.

Well, what do we need?

um don't we need like rice krispies um what is it carol syrup

i mean i know that we need peanut butter but we have that right oh yes peanut

butter we do need that we gotta get a good amount of chocolate chocolate um

butterscotch yep right um i feel like that should be it and then i'll just

get one of those disposable pans because the last time i sent one of those this

is off to you and your pain I never got my Tupperware back.

I know, but that's not my fault.

Well, all I know is with all the cooking that I do, I need all the cooking

utensils I can possibly have. And I really just can't afford for things to

go missing.

What do you mean?

You have so much stuff at home. I know.

I swear you have like two or three of everything. I do, but I have it because

I just don't want things, you know.

To go missing.

I just don't think you're that hungry.

How could you think I'm not hungry?

I don't know.

You're just, you know, tossing ideas around. I think you just want to make me

feel... I think you just want to make me feel... I don't know.

Special.

By entertaining me with all your suggestions.

Look, every single time you put food out in front of me, I eat all of it and

always come back for more. That's true.

So don't come at me over here saying, oh, you don't think I'm hungry.

I don't know. I'm feeling kind of full right now. So I feel like we

just need to have something a little bit lighter.

What?

Oh my goodness. All right.

We've had super heavy food lately, and I'm just thinking maybe we could have

like that Mediterranean dish that's super good.

Which one was that again?

It's like a salad. So chicken, olives, feta,

with like a spring mix.

How does that sound?

It sounds pretty good, but...

Maybe a little more meat.

I think we've got some falafel mix.

You ever had that?

It's been a while since I've had falafel. I mean, it's chickpea.

Right.

Lots of good protein.

We could do that with chicken.

Yeah, we could do something like that.

Yeah, I think that sounds really good.

And then we could do some pita bread.

Tzatziki. I think we have a little bit of yogurt.

I know I have some fresh dill, garlic, cucumber.

So it shouldn't be too hard.

What did you say it was? Taliki?

Tzatziki. Tzatziki?

Mm-hmm. What the hell is that?

Oh, man. Stick with me and you will learn a lot.

It's a Greek yogurt dipping sauce.

It's like a dressing.

I think you'll really like it, especially if you like ranch.

So you just dip what?

Um, it's just like a dressing.

You can put it in the pita.

Do you want something savory and salty tonight?

Um, something salty sounds really good.

Maybe something like salty and creamy?

Oh.

What did you have in mind? What was that thing with the coconut cream?

Oh, um, the butter chicken.

Oh, butter chicken, that's right. Yeah, but I think the grilled cheese and

tomato soup sounds really good.

That's very salty and creamy.

Savory.

Oh, you're right.

Sounds so good.

If you do that...

The butter chicken, I think I would have needed to start marinating the chicken

in yogurt a long time ago.

Yeah, I guess you're right. So that might be off the table. Yeah, it's

definitely off the table.

I've never made Indian food before, so we're going to have to check back on

that one.

Oh, yeah.

I'm down to try new things.

Yeah, but maybe that tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich, that might

actually work.

Definitely. Yeah.

Do you have a lot of homework to do tonight?

Uh, not too much. That's good.

I have to write an essay still, but after that, we should be good.

That's good.

I suppose I should probably start getting that tomato soup ready.

Yeah. Honestly, I don't know if tomato soup and sandwiches is going to be

enough for me, though.

Really?

Can we at least put meat in the sandwich?

What kind of meat are you thinking of?

God, I don't know.

Like, ham sounds good, right?

But I think it's a little too basic.

What about some turkey?

Turkey sounds good. Do you like turkey?

Or are you feeling more like roast beef?

Ooh, that sounds very good.

Well, I think all we have is turkey.

All right.

Okay. Should we hit up dad?

Or do you just want to work with what we have?

You know how much I hate bothering your father.

Yeah, honestly, me too.

So if you just want to do like the ham or the turkey, we can do that.

Okay. So I really think that we should use like some big old slabs of meat in

there. Oh, yeah, definitely some big slabs of meat.

Um, we have some honey ham. Does that sound really good?

Uh, that sounds good, but I was thinking more along the lines of maybe a black

forest.

Well, you know we've got to work with what we've got.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I've spoiled you.

Honestly, you have.

Yeah, thanks a lot.

Well, you are my favorite.

I'm also your only.

You are my only son.

Let's see.

Now, as for the bread, we have sourdough.

Uh, let's see.

Sourdough sounds pretty good, but what else do we have?

Um, I mean, we've got white bread.

Uh, that's not really a, that's not really a grilled cheese kind of. I feel

like you need like a rustic loaf.

Oh, rustic. What does that even mean? Like a country loaf.

Oh, okay. Something with seeds.

Something with seeds.

Yeah. I love a real seedy loaf.

Hmm.

Sounds so good.

Do we even have anything like that?

No, but I think we've got some rye bread.

That's kind of the same thing, right? It's got like oats on it.

Um, I think it's got a little bit of oats.

To be honest, I really don't know because your father is the only one who

eats it.

Yeah.

That man.

You know I like your father though.

You're a lot like your father, you know.

See, now, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

It's a good thing, trust me.

But you have a bigger appetite than your father.

Oh, I agree with you on that. I am always hungry.

I feel like I can never get enough sometimes.

Yeah.

You're just a growing boy.

Honestly, I hope I pick up more traits like you.

I'm absolutely blown away by your cooking skills.

Oh, no, I suck.

I'm not that good, but I'm learning.

Oh, please.

I've loved every single meal that you've made me.

Seems like you're just a real whiz. Well, cooking is really hard.

Oh, I know it is.

That's why I respect it so much.

You always put in so much time and effort.

And it really, really shows.

You're always cooking something new, trying new recipes.

It's amazing.

It's my favorite thing to do for you.

I think after school,

you know, I still only have a few more years left.

It's not too long, but I think that I would like to pursue cooking.

You've made me really, really love it.

That's good.

Ooh, you know what we haven't had is a schnitzel.

Ooh, a schnitzel. Mm-hmm.

Mm.

So good.

A schnitzel. Have you ever had that?

No, I haven't.

Mm.

A nice wiener schnitzel.

Veal cuts fried and breaded.

Got a nice little lemon wedge.

Mm.

That does sound pretty appealing, actually.

Uh-huh.

A little bit of tartness with that.

Mmm, so good.

Ooh, then we can do, like, some french fries with it.

Mmm.

French fries with a schnitzel, though?

Oh, it goes together, trust me.

I know.

Hmm. All right. I think I'll take your word for it.

Now, I guess the question would be...

What kind of french fries do we want? Because I know that we still have some

steak fries. We still have some curly fries.

I don't really remember if we have regular ones or not.

But I don't know. Do we?

I think the steak fries would go the best.

Well, steak fries do sound pretty good.

You can get some real nice seasoning on those.

And, uh... Some paprika?

Ooh, paprika's really, really good, actually.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

A little salt, a little pepper, a little paprika.

Yeah. Now you're talking.

Some pepper.

Ooh, then we'd have, like, a nice gherkin salad.

Gherkin salad?

That sounds very interesting.

It's a cucumber salad.

Gherkin is cucumber in German.

Is that the one with the peppers in it?

Usually it's just onions and dill.

Interesting. I must be thinking of Thai food.

There's something that they have that's very similar. It's like a cucumber

salad. but they dice up some red chili peppers inside and they saute it in like

a vinaigrette sauce.

It's absolutely amazing.

Sounds so good.

But that's definitely not German.

So what are you thinking?

I think that we need to hurry up and finish deciding.

I know.

It's just so much.

So much thinking and pondering.

Maybe we just

skip dinner and just do dessert.

Gosh,

that would not be fair.

Oh, you gotta figure something out.

Your father's gonna come home and he's got a big appetite.

Not as big as yours, though.

Mmm, you must be so hungry.

Oh, you can do like fries and some steak.

Does that sound good?

Oh, that sounds really good.

You just know how much I like to feed you.

Yeah.

You're the biggest help for me.

That sounds so good.

Ooh, fries and chicken wings.

That's it.

Oh, definitely.

Teriyaki, right?

Yeah.

That sounds good.

You're so good at compromising.

I get it from you.

I have the best son.

I have the best mom.

Well, go ahead and just get cleaned up, and I'll go ahead and get started.

Sounds good.
