In the martial arts, it's about mind, body, and spirit.
To cultivate the mind, kids, what do you have to do?
To strengthen your mind, you have to do what?
I'm sorry?
Do you go to school?
Yes.
What do you have to do to do well in school?
Learn.
How do you strengthen your mind?
Study.
Practice.
Yes.
Knowledge is power.
You have to cultivate your mind.
Body.
How do you strengthen the body?
Training.
Working out.
Taekwondo.
Eating right.
Don't eat junk food.
Don't be drinking coke every day.
That's how you strengthen your body.
Last one is the spirit.
How do you strengthen the spirit?
The mind and body is for you.
To cultivate spirit is not for you.
It's for others.
The spirit helps other people.
Look at all the teachers.
They are constantly rooting for you.
They are reaching out for you.
It's not for them.
They are trying to help others.
Fire!
Usually it's two, three, four people doing well, but here everybody has a fire.
Everybody is so well.
The kick, the stances, the vision, the focus.
It was amazing.
I'm very impressed.
I also want to commend Mr. Chris Lehman, Mr. Andrew Lehman.
He was joking about me and I'm going to go home and talk about you guys.
But the truth of the matter is, actually they're my role models.
I base my program, my technical teachings on their teachings because I've never seen
a couple where they live, breathe, eat martial arts 24 hours a day.
And they're so concerned about you guys, about their
teachings to you, about instructors, the masters.
They talk all the time about how they can improve their programs, how one student is
doing, how the other one they want to help.
And I mean, I'm so overwhelmed and amazed by their love to you guys.
I think that's a big hand.
