Original subtitles

Sorry.

Sorry.

Yes, sir.

A pause.

I want to have a little bit of a takwondo kicking.

A little bit of a Hokkito movement.

I want to go with a little bit of the form.

Like, master fireplace, and ask me to do.

About 30, 35 years ago, when I first started competing,

my instructor did not like to do different forms.

He only wanted me to do traditional forms.

And every time I go to a tournament, see what traditional form I would lose.

Because there were people doing not more fancy stuff.

They had music.

They had colorful uniform.

They were using gymnastic groups.

So I would go back to my instructor and say, master charm.

Every time I do traditional form, I would lose.

No, you don't do it.

So, for about a year, I just started practicing on my own.

How can I make this traditional, still traditional, but still make it good

enough to compete against those fancy, those colorful uniforms with music,

so that I started picking things.

Like, it moves you when they start.

They have that.

They have that.

So I liked that.

So I said, if I start, I will shoot.

And you start with that.

It's still somewhat traditional, isn't it?

And then, the next thing I liked was if you ever seen drill team practice.

And you have like real cool moves with your hands and legs and stuff.

So I...

So I started just copying some of the drill team

moves that try to make it from a martial form.

And then I started mixing, instead of just doing traditional single kicks.

But why can't I make it a double?

Why can't I make it triple?

So that's how I just started putting forms together.

Okay?

This is what I'm going to ask you.

I should come in, please.

Could you show me just two forms for me?

Sure.

Any form you want to talk in the day?

Okay.

I want to do basic form.

Best form or form?

No.

Shh.

Say!

Shh.

Shh.

Shh.

Say.

Say.

Say.

Say.

Say.

Say.

Say.

I've never seen this one before in my life.

But, I have all the movement that you get, the one thing that kind of stuck,

the stroke is where I started working with this.

That's a cool move in my life.

You guys might like something else, but I enjoy what you're doing there.

Now, can I ask somebody else to give me another one more, another one more,

on the phone chat, can you share with me a little more?

Yes, sir.

Thank you.

Good job, please.

So that one more life is for too.

But I really, really like her intensity and her power, and her body, and her life.

So now, if your mind is open, after what Ash you're doing, after what Jackie,

I want to create my own form.

Because form is an expression for me.

I want to create something that I enjoy watching.

So, let's say something like this is what Ash you do.

And then, something like this is what Jackie did, right?

And then, be able to put any part of the form.

So let's say my form starts this way immediately.

That's how normal traditional form starts, right?

So, maybe I could put that of Ash or... that of Jackie.

Ash or Jackie.

Whatever I want here, maybe I'm going to do something quick kicks.

Well, I want to do some ground kicks.

Maybe I want to do some gymnastics moves.

I want to do that drill team move.

I want to do that drill team move.

Do you guys understand what I'm talking about?

Sir.

Sir.

So, have a open mind.

Ash, I'm going to ask you to come over here.

Please, sir.

Form, that was form number four.

Yes, sir.

Form number one, go in this way.

Form number two, come in this way.

Form number three, go in this way.

Form number four, go in this way.

Jackie, finish up.

The best of ground you gain.

Yes.

Let's just see what it looks like.

No.

No.

No.

No.

Finish it with Jackie's stuff.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

Ash, you're going to spot your leg.

But Ash, you're going to roll with it.

And he just made something up.

You guys all have that capability.

So, if you love from Master Fire Force, form number one, form number two,

form number three.

How many forms you have?

Five.

Five.

These are all pieces of others.

Okay?

So, that's how I experiment with my gloves.

I'm going to do form number one here.

I'm going to tweak it.

Maybe after this, I do Asher's move.

This might be cool.

And then I'll start doing form number two here.

And then I'm going, well, I'm going to master retouch this kick, kick,

punch, punch, whatever.

You know, try it.

And then going back here, I remember the rolling, turning around back.

I'm going to check if I'm going to try.

So, when you guys practice your form, you learn one through five.

Make your own number six.

Make your own number seven, number eight, number nine, and ten.

My third degree black belt.

I teach them nine traditional forms.

And I teach them ten good forms.

That's nine hours.

Second degree black belt.

They learn ten traditional forms.

Third degree black belt.

They have to mix ticket one, pocket one.

And they have to make up your own.

Because I want your mind to be able.

Okay.

So that's how I practice my form.

I don't know if that's what master project is going

to go over, but I just wanted you guys to know.

If you keep your mind open and have the creativity

flowing, you can have a lot of fun doing that.

Can I just add something?

Sure.

One of the things, when I was coming up to a ransing session, we have no forms.

The master section never taught me any forms.

The only reason I did forms was because I'm asking.

And let me ask something.

A lot of you don't know the history behind this one.

It was imploded.

It

had me to do forms.

I just didn't have the courage to go lessons with them.

And I went to the... I even asked...

Remember, I walked into the office and I asked,

and I didn't have the courage to go on with it.

But that's what motivated me truly to come up with forms, is after watching my story

and having the pleasure of competing against them or having to go to watching form.

And I remember, it didn't matter if he won, if he won, he got first place or not.

Most of the time, first place.

But I, and 99% of the audience, I personally got goosebumps.

It can't be until I looked at it.

And that's how I knew this is the winner.

This is a bunch of people who did forms.

It's a whole bunch of people, but not a whole lot

of people could do forms and give me goosebumps.

You just look at it, go, my God.

Like that.

That's what I want to do.

You know, and I couldn't call it... I couldn't call it any style.

It was just him.

You know, so... Thank you so much.

Thank you so much.

Just like Mr. Clark, there was a guy who also

told me not to do different kinds of forms.

Against his missions.

Now he understands.

Times change.

Like, whoever thought that UFC was going to do this popular thing.

When the UFC first came out, when they got put the guy in the arm for all like this,

when the guy is tapping out, what happened?

Did that hurt?

I didn't know that a lot more.

You know, all I knew was kicking and punching and striking stuff.

I was like, wow, that really hurt.

Until somebody did that turn in.

Then he said, oh, man, that stuff really worked.

So now, UFC's got a really, really big effort.

So, now I notice people in the movie industry.

I just had a question working with Gerard Butler.

He did 800.

Spot on!

And he's shooting bad guys with guns.

But even then, I notice now that he's using martial arts.

The guy comes around with a pistol around the corner.

Who throws him on the arm?

Bam!

He throws a guy like that.

So, it's the movie.

But it's not just bang anymore.

They're making it even more cool.

I think Gerard Butler's going to go the way up.

He really, really had a great fight call.

He had a good help.

So, keep your mind open.

If you could incorporate gymnastics, M&A, boxing, capito, tapuando,

even three running, hardcore, create something that no one has ever created.

And you'll be that much more better than anyone else.

That's the message I want to leave you guys with.

I don't think you guys are sweating enough.

And I have about 15 minutes left.

So, I'm going to give you guys a little conditioning drill.

Everyone, push up in the drill.

Let's do it!
