Welcome to Babor Cosmetics, the expert partner for Cosmetic Institute's spas

and pharmacies.

Today we will show you the secret of the Asian philosophy of beauty for body,

mind and soul, the Babor Shi Tao wellness concept, demonstrated in the

stylish atmosphere of the spa of the Doran Sofitel Kvelenhov Hotel in Aachen.

Asian wisdom teaches us that health, well-being, and also beauty can only be

achieved if we live in harmony with nature and in harmony with ourselves.

But this inner harmony is often disturbed, not least because of external

influences like stress, a hectic lifestyle, and harmful environmental

factors.

Babur Shi Tao is a holistic wellness concept for the face and body.

It relies on massage techniques based on Shiatsu therapy and the principles of

energy or Qi.

Heated lava stones help greatly to enhance well-being and promote total

relaxation of body, mind and soul.

All Babor centau products contain the special centau wellness fragrance.

Developed in keeping with the principles of aromacology, it helps to promote

relaxation and well-being. The Asian anti-stress complex pampers the skin.

It contains green tea to protect against free radicals, ginkgo biloba

to soothe irritations, and ginseng, the root of eternal life.

which promotes cell regeneration.

Inspired by the Far Eastern philosophy of life, the Asia Wellness Treatment

Room becomes a sensual paradise, where the client can enjoy the ultimate

wellness experience.

The round shui element is the focal feature in the treatment room. On the

massage table, the client can unwind completely.

She sets off on a relaxing journey, accompanied by Far Eastern sounds.

A quarter of an hour before the start of the treatment, place the centau lava

stones and the centau massage oil in a water bath to heat them. The Babur body

senses ritual at the start of the treatment arouses all five senses,

hearing, sight, smell, taste, and touch.

The native Babur herbs play a key role.

The client selects the fragrance and the herbal tea she would like us to prepare.

While the tea is developing its full aroma, the client experiences soothing

stress-release sage compresses on her feet.

These are followed by harmonizing stroking movements that instantly help

her to forget the outside world.

The fragrance and taste of the selected herbal tea put her in the mood that will

be highly beneficial for her today.

In the special introductory phase, Babur Body Cleansing, we use Cental Body

Splash.

Spray it onto moistened toweling mitts, and the wellness fragrance instantly

fills the room.

The washing movements begin on the upper back, radiating from there to the

underarms. Continue the stroking movements on the lower back down to the

sacrum at the base of the spine.

Perform each movement three times.

Place four heated medium-sized centau massage stones on the massage table so

that they transfer heat to the lower lumbar vertebrae.

Babur body cleansing continues over the décolleté.

the stomach, the upper arms and forearms, right down to the fingertip.

The ritual ends with the legs.

Continue over the thighs and calves, down to the tips of the toes.

These movements are also performed three times.

The Bab or Shi Tao treatment begins with a gentle introductory phase.

Hold your client's feet so her Achilles tendons are cupped in your hands.

Raise her feet and pull them gently towards you.

Stretching relaxes the muscles.

Apply Centau massage oil to the feet and massage in briefly.

Place the eight small heated centau lava stones one after another on the top of

the feet and between the toes so that they transfer their heat to her feet.

Then wrap her feet up carefully to keep them warm.

The stomach, the center of the emotions, also loves warmth.

It absorbs heat from a large stone placed below the navel.

Depending on how sensitive the client is, we place the stone directly on her

skin or put a towel underneath it. In the next step, the skin experiences the

warm conditioning centau massage oil with the wellness fragrance.

We always start each new step in the treatment on the right side of the body.

Each movement is performed three times.

First, using an effleurage movement, smooth the oil over the leg. Continue

along the right side of the body.

Then along the right arm.

The warmth, the fragrance, and the flowing movements will melt away any

tension.

Now do the same on the left side.

Beginning with the leg, effleurage along the left side of the body, ending with

the left arm.

The sentao lava stones promote deep relaxation, down into every muscle,

and stimulate the energy flow.

To help the stones glide gently over the skin, use one or two pumps of massage

oil.

Placing both hands on the stone, glide along the inside of the calf and

describe three large ellipses.

Use calm gliding movements along the body's energy pathways, or meridians.

Now move to the outer side of the calf.

Glide along the inside and then the outside of the thigh.

Continue the stone massage along the side of the upper body.

Using long effleurage-like movements, glide the stone over the upper arm and

forearm.

To massage the inside of the arm, raise the arm and lift it back.

Then hold in position at the shoulder.

Before we place the client's arm back beside her body, we give her the stone

to hold.

The sensation of warmth helps her to unwind completely and experience total

relaxation. She will now experience the same relaxing sensation on the left side

of her body when the warm stone glides over the meridians.

All Babur Sheetal massage movements are performed three times.

For a deeper sense of relaxation, massage the oil into the parts of the

body that have just been treated.

Using both hands simultaneously, glide along the inside, then the outside of

the calves, describing a figure eight. Do this three times.

Next, massage along the inside, then the outside of the thighs.

In order to massage the upper body, place your hands on top of one another

and describe three figure eights, from the hips to the underarms.

Gently effleurage the arm.

The massage movements in a figure-eight shape on the left side of the body

gently work the Centau massage oil into the skin and maintain the energy flow.

Before the facial treatment, cover up your client.

The Bab or Hu cleansing combined with phytoactive reactivating with active

ingredients such as ginkgo biloba supports the Asian concept of beauty.

To finish cleansing, roll the final compress downwards.

Mild peeling prepares the skin to absorb centau fluid.

The anti-stress complex and the wellness fragrance create a unique experience for

the skin and the senses.

We begin the Babor Shi Tao face massage by applying Centao cream.

Smooth the cream over the client's face, neck, and décolleté using swimming

movements, each performed twice.

Special pressure points have been selected from Shiatsu massage and

adapted for the Babur Shi Tao treatment.

Shiatsu massage stimulates certain pressure points along the body's energy

channels, or meridians.

Inside them flows the body's energy, or Qi.

Since the flow of Qi responds to touch, Shiatsu pressure point massage removes

blockages and gets the body's energy flowing again.

shiatsu which means finger pressure has three distinguishing features the

pressure is constant concentrated and is applied vertically to the body pressure

is applied to each pressure point with the underside of the thumbs maintain the

pressure for two breaths with each pressure point gradually increase the

pressure until the desired level has been reached depending on the clients

needs

After each pressure point, release your thumb and place it in the next position,

without touching the client's skin.

Wherever possible, the supporting fingers should not change position.

The Bab or Shi Tao pressure point massage begins on the forehead.

First, place your thumbs on top of one another between the client's eyebrows,

on what we call the third eye.

Apply pressure to four pressure points up to her hairline.

Place your fingers against her temples for support.

With your thumbs, continue applying pressure to the remaining pressure

points. work from the inner edge of the eyebrows up to the hairline applying

pressure to four pressure points

Continue with another four pressure points between the center of the brow

and the hairline.

At the end of the brow, usually no more than two or three pressure points are

possible.

With your left hand resting on the client's forehead, use your right thumb

to apply pressure to four pressure points below the eyebrow, working from

the inner corner of the eye outwards.

Change the position of your hands so that you can apply pressure to four

pressure points below the eye, again starting at the inner corner.

Next, apply gentle pressure to the pressure points around the left eye.

Using your index fingers, apply pressure to the three pressure points on the

nasolabial fold.

To increase the pressure, place your middle finger on top of your index

finger.

The pressure points around the mouth begin above the upper lip, in the

center.

For the first pressure point, place your thumbs on top of one another.

Follow this with three pressure points in a parallel line up to the corners of

the mouth.

Continue in the same way with four pressure points below the mouth.

Apply light pressure on the arch of the cheekbone with your fingertips.

one after the other, beginning with the index finger and ending with the little

finger. Do this in three stages until you reach the ears.

Massaging the ear and the earlobes will give your client a unique sensation of

well-being.

The face massage ends with an eye massage.

Place the ball of your thumb on each side of the client's temples.

Place your fingers on her eyelids and gently massage her eyeballs.

Apply gentle pressure to finish before you slowly remove your fingers, starting

with your index finger and ending with your little finger.

As in the introduction to the face massage, the pressure point massage

finishes with swimming movements over the face, neck, and décolleté.

Before we ask the client to turn over onto her stomach, we remove all the

stones.

We now continue on the client's back, pampering her with the same massage

steps as on the front of the body.

Beginning again with the right leg, use effleurage movements to smooth the

centau massage oil over the skin.

Do this three times.

Continue over the right side of her back and over her shoulder.

Depending on how the client's arm is lying, we include the arm in the

massage.

Next, we focus on the left side of the body, beginning at the leg and

continuing over the left side of the back up to the arm.

A large heated lava stone relaxes the sacrum at the base of the spine.

For the following massage, pump a little centau massage oil onto another heated

stone.

And using calm stroking movements, first glide over the calf muscles and then

around the thigh muscle.

Beginning at the sacrum, continue the effleurage-like movements along the

right side of the back, describing ellipses with the heated lava stones.

If the client's arms are lying beside her body, she will find it pleasant if

you glide the stone over her arm and then place the stone in her hand.

Using another large lava stone, continue the gentle flowing movements along the

meridians on the left side of the body.

Once again, we focus on the feet.

Using a medium-sized centau stone, Make firm twisting movements along the edge

of the soles of the feet.

First the right foot, then the left foot.

For a deeper sense of relaxation, place your hands one on top of the other and

describe three large figure eights on the calf muscles.

Describe further figure eights and massage the Centile Massage Oil into the

thigh before turning your attention to the client's back.

Beginning at the sacrum continue over the right side of the back and the

shoulder.

Include the arm as far as possible.

Now the left side of her body will enjoy the soothing massage.

Now that your client is totally relaxed, the energies in her back will be

released. The gentle effleurage massage of the back prepares her for the Babur

-Shitau pressure point massage.

Place your hands next to the upper back with your fingertips pointing towards

one another.

Stroke down the spine to the pelvis.

Glide your hands back up along the sides of the body. Repeat these effleurage

movements two more times.

The selected pressure points on the back release energies and increase the

sensation of well-being.

They form a sequence of five lines. Beginning on the right side with line 1,

apply pressure to the pressure points directly beside the spinal column.

Line 2 is a finger breadth to the right of line 1.

Line 3 continues where line 2 ends and continues down to the pelvis.

Line 4 is the extension of line 1.

and also runs down to the pelvis.

Line 5 begins where line 4 ends and continues over the top of the pelvic

girdle to the side of the body. Here you can see the pressure points on the left

side of the back.

Start off with line 1, which runs alongside the upper back to the tip of

the shoulder blade.

The fingers of one hand point towards the client's head and are supported by

her shoulder.

The fingers of your other hand point down towards the client's legs.

Line 2 runs parallel to line 1, one finger's breadth further over, and goes

up to the tip of the shoulder blade.

We use both thumbs during the shiatsu back massage.

Place them one on top of another if you want to apply strong pressure, and side

by side to apply gentler pressure.

The fingertips of both hands point outwards, so you can apply equally

intensive pressure on the pressure points down to the top of the pelvic

girdle. Line 3 continues on from line 2.

Line 4 continues on from line 1.

Line 5 joins on directly to line 4, so you can apply pressure to pressure

points along the top of the pelvic girdle.

Now we come to the final phase of the wellness experience, another firm

effleurage massage of the back. Place the sides of your hands next to the

client's spinal column and effleurage outwards. Each time, move your hands up

a little higher so that the massage covers the entire back up to the

shoulders. To finish, use both hands to effleurage the shoulders and arms down

to the elbows.

Let your client rest for a little while so she can feel the after effects of the

massage and the newly released energy.

The Babor Shi Tao treatment concludes with the Babor body finish.

Massage the remaining Sen Tao massage oil into the skin using effleurage

movements followed by the cat's paw movement.

This slowly brings the client back to the here and now.

The gentle stroking cat's paw movements are performed in the same direction as

earlier during the body cleansing.

Begin with the right leg.

Continue the Babur body finish over the arm to the upper body.

The Babor body finish ends with the back.

Starting in the center of the back, effleurage to the underarms and from the

center of the back to the pelvis.

Enveloped in precious essences, the client has relaxed completely and

recharged her batteries.

Whenever she thinks of the Babor Shi Tao treatment, she will remember this

uniquely pleasurable experience.

A light makeup with the Babor Shades of Beauty rounds off the treatment and adds

radiance to her complexion.

Babor Sen Tao products are the ideal way to complete the unforgettable wellness

effect at home.
