Simulate a pillow in Blender in just 1
minute. Shift A. Go to your mesh
options. Add in a plane. Tab into edit
mode. With everything active, right
click, click on subdivide. Under your
subdivisions tab, give it 55 cuts. Back
in your object mode, go E to extrude and
extrude it up just a little bit. In your
top or graphic view, select some middle
faces. Make sure it's at the top and the
bottom. Then go over to your object out
of properties. Go over to vertex groups
and click plus. And then assign. Tab
back out into object mode. With it
selected, go over to your physics. Give
it a cloth. Scroll all the way down to
pressure and enable it. And then give it
a pressure of six. Come down to field
weights and turn gravity off to zero.
Then come back over to your 3D space and
then from frame one, hit spacebar. And
now you have a simulation. And if you
want a little bit of a different pillow,
you can go over to the shape. You can
enable the pin group and get that vertex
group we created. Go to frame one again,
hit the space bar, and now you have a
more traditional looking pillow. You can
