Original subtitles

[Jamie] Ah, come on!

Ah!

Oh!

[Patrick] Hang in there, brother.

-[Dani] Deep breaths, Jamie. -[bleep].

-Deep breaths. -[Jamie] Ah!

Oh!

Jamie already got treated for his stingray sting,

but apparently it's still coming in waves

and perhaps getting worse.

[Jamie speaking]

Did the pain just randomly start coming back?

I wonder if there's still little barbs in there...

injecting venom.

[pained groaning]

[Dani] It looks more purple than it did before.

[Ally] Yikes.

[Jamie] Ah!

[Ally] Is this worse than the original?

This is worse!

Ow!

Medic, can you come for Jamie, please?

[man over radio] Right over.

[narrator] A stingray strike can become even more agonizing hours after

the attack as the venom reaches its peak effect.

[Jamie] Oh, God. Oh, God -- [screams]

-Oh! -Hang in there, Jamie.

-No. -Ah!

Ten survivalists remain stranded in the Philippines...

Scary [bleep].

I don't know what's going to happen.

...among the haunted ruins of those who failed to escape.

[Dani] I don't need you butting in

and micromanaging everything I do.

[Jarrell] You've got a lot of days to deal with me, baby.

A lot more days.

He's just, like, bullying me nonstop.

I think it's best if we went our separate ways.

Got blackballed by my own gang.

Anyone out there?

-Holy [bleep]. -[Patrick] Hey!

-What? -[Jamie] There's people.

I'd love for us to team up and get to the end,

like together as a team. I'd love it.

Ah!

-[Patrick speaking] -[Jamie] Yeah.

-[Jamie] Ah! -We need a medic!

[Patrick] Can we get a medic?

[Jamie] Ah!

[pained groaning]

He's running over. It's getting scary.

[Jamie screaming]

Ow!

Oh [bleep].

Do you know for sure that the barbs are out?

[medic speaking]

The medic has returned to ensure Jamie's wound is free of

any remaining barb fragments, which can prolong the release

of venom, causing increased pain, as well as the heightened

risk of infection flowing to the heart.

[Jamie] Ow!

[Dani] Jamie, I'm so sorry.

It is absolutely heartbreaking

to see Jamie have to go through this.

Jamie has a high pain tolerance.

He's a very tough man.

But the pain is increasingly getting worse.

This is 10 out of 10 pain.

What do you think is happening to him?

[medic speaking]

Oh [bleep]!

Ow!

Ah, oh I'm just -- I'm getting --

Ow! Oh!

[Jamie screaming] Ow!

[medic speaking]

Ah! Ow!

Jamie, Jamie do you wanna --

Do you want the IV? Do you want to leave?

No!

[medic] The pain is at its greatest

during the first two to three hours.

And this is what's happening right now.

-Oh, my gosh! -It's gonna start dissipating.

Just keep -- just keep breathing.

This is all gonna go away.

[Dani] So it's just normal,

[medic] Yep.

[Dani] Two to four days.

[Dani whispering]

[medic speaking]

To properly treat the wound, it must be left open.

This allows for better drainage and prevents marine bacteria

or barb fragments from being trapped under the skin.

However, it is critical to keep

the wound clean to prevent infection.

Whew!

[exhales heavily]

Just out here fishing on the point.

Adam's with me.

[Adam] I'm getting little bites,

but nothing's hooking up.

Just burning through bait at the moment.

[Darrin] It's been a struggle today. Need another win.

After Adam and Mandy ventured into territory

off the edge of their map.

-What the hell? There's three naked people. -What!

They discovered Malu, Darrin, and Ana Lis.

Every piece of the map is one step closer to

rescuing ourselves. -Yeah!

First cast of the day.

[Malu] I got a stingray! I need help!

-Cheers. -Cheers.

Mm. Mm.

Might as well head back.

Go get more hermit crabs.

-We lost all our bait today. -Yeah.

[Adam] This stingray has been a massive chunk of protein

and calories, but ever since that day, we've all been

surviving on not much at all.

[Ana Lis] Any luck? Did you?

-Lost a lot of bait. -Yeah.

[Adam] Yeah, they're not really biting that hard this morning.

[Ana Lis speaking]

Now, I know that the sea can provide us.

-It's gold. -I'm going to collect snails.

That's something. Never come back empty-handed.

[Darrin] I'm just gonna start getting my coconuts open.

I'm gonna get hydrated and keep my electrolytes up all day.

Get a bunch of these open before it gets too hot for

everyone else. We just got to smash it today.

Stay hydrated.

[Malu] I'm gonna start making a fire and water.

Having five people in this group, we got the teamwork

set straight, and I really like it.

All of us are out there trying to get protein, but everyone is

also helping out with camp.

Is the pot over there?

-[Mandy] Which pot? -[Malu] The rusted pot.

-I can't find it. -Yeah, it's over there.

-[Mandy] I'll go get it. -OK.

[Mandy] I'm gonna put all the snails in there.

[Darrin] Will you grab my machete, Mandy?

-[Mandy] Yep. -[Darrin] Thank you.

-Get the fire ready? -Mm-hmm.

I'm gonna dump off these snails.

Sorry, they're quite dirty. They're gonna need rinsing.

OK.

I do not mind if you collect it.

[Ana Lis speaking]

[exhales heavily] OK.

Are you giving up on the fishing for right now?

[Ana Lis] Yeah, I'm really tired.

[Malu] Ana Lis, can you make bundles please?

[Malu] I don't know if I'm the only one really paying attention,

but to me, Ana Lis, she's a little loose sometimes

about camp chores...

There's a lot to do.

...and it's going to cause a problem.

[Dani] How's your foot feeling this morning?

[Patrick] It's swollen as hell.

It's swollen, aye, and it's...

-[Patrick] Dude, wow. -[Jamie] Yeah.

[Patrick] It's like that foot's like twice the size

of your other one. -[Jamie] Aye, is it?

I'm just trying to keep it clean, you know?

[Patrick] All right.

[Jamie speaking]

I know I just need to stay in the challenge until then.

[medic] He's got heatstroke. We need to get him out of here.

We need to do a medical evacuation.

Urgh!

My feet are pounding, throbbing.

So disappointed.

I do not want to be medically tapped again.

[Patrick] Protein is something that's gonna help you heal faster.

So, I think I'm gonna head back out and get

some more protein for you.

-Thank you. -[Patrick] Yeah.

Did you want to go out and try to find conches today?

[Dani speaking]

Oh man, yous are the best.

[Dani] I've been going through a lot of emotions and feelings

just about my safety in the ocean here.

Since I'm getting stung by a box jellyfish on day two,

although I don't eat meat or fish, I still wanna help

my partners, and in particular, Jamie, because Jamie was

my biggest support system when everything transpired

with Jarrell and the decision to leave.

He's my ride or die.

We are in this together, so I am going to go above and beyond

to make sure Jamie has everything that he needs

to get through this.

It does feel a little bit overwhelming to be

out here in

the same area where I got stung by a jellyfish.

But I really want to face this fear and just

at least try.

You ready to go?

-Let's do it. -I'm so scared.

Vicious slayer!

I got a bunch of conch and a giant goby.

[Jamie] You're amazing, Dani. Well done.

[Ally] Yeah, super proud of you for getting back out there.

Thank you.

Really proud of myself and really happy to be able to

contribute so much food today. Especially for Jamie.

Jamie, you can join

my ocean exposure therapy class if you'd like.

[Dani] Yeah.

[Jarrell] Day 26, baby.

Look like a madman.

Ah -- ah. I'm stranded here.

Look like I'm gonna eat somebody.

First task of the day is

I see some shrimp by my trap that keep going in and out,

so I got this little net.

I'll let it sit, and hopefully I can just --

boop, scoop them out.

Dani, she said I wouldn't survive out here without

her and Jamie.

But proved them wrong.

That's how you catch one right there.

I'm thriving. Thriving good.

I got fresh water here. I got coconuts here.

I got bananas here. I got my fire here.

But, you know, this is not my forever home.

I'm gonna have to find a way to get rescued.

I got no map. I got no team.

So I got to leave this place, leave these resources,

and I got to take a risk to be rescued.

[Patrick] That's a fine-looking hammock you got there.

[Jarrell] What's up, brother?

I came back with that promise of meat, dude.

Man, so clutch.

What --those little conches right there?

[Patrick] Yeah, dude.

You know, one thing that I've learned through my whole life

is everyone's perspective is different.

As someone who has a reputation for being a villain,

I know that, like, people can judge you too quickly.

And it's kind of weird because every interaction I have

with him, it's been great.

-All these are mine? -Yeah.

My God, clutch, man. I appreciate you.

Yeah, I mean, hey, we're all gonna have to make it

to rescue anyways. -[Jarrell] Yeah, we got to, man.

I was gonna ask you if you had your map,

but I -- you probably don't. -[Patrick] Oh, no I didn't bring it with me.

-[Patrick] Nah. -Damn, [bleep]. Trying to take a look at it.

-Yeah. -[Jarrell] Because I might just start

heading to hopefully meet up with another team

so I can see where that rescue point is.

I've seen 'em both. I think, uh...

-This is the full map, right? -[Jarrell] OK.

[Patrick] My map was this one.

Your map was this one.

So we're the two bottom pieces, it looks like there might be

two top pieces out there somewhere.

-[Jarrell] The other two teams? -[Patrick] Yeah.

[Jarrell] If I can find them, I find the other two maps.

Might be like a trail up in there or something.

[Jarrell] Yeah, there is. I've walked around.

There is some trails, so...

It could be something that you could, yeah.

-I'm gonna scout it out, though. -[Patrick] Yeah.

[Jarrell] It's definitely going to be a leap of faith, I tell you.

-[Patrick] Good deal, bro. -OK, man.

-I'll see you soon. -Yep.

Nine days.

You know, we're almost to the finish line.

Less than two weeks left.

And so tomorrow, I'm going to have to make moves

to get rescued.

I'll be here for good if I stay here.

[singing] I got some conches.

-Hi, Jamie. -[Jamie] Hello.

[Ardith] I'm here for your foot.

Yeah, just have a wee look at it.

It's leaking a little bit of orange liquid.

[Ardith speaking]

Eh, this morning.

-[Jamie] No. -[Ardith] No?

[Jamie] Yeah...

There's no pain, feel good.

-[Ardith speaking] -Is that normal?

Could there still be venom in there?

[Ardith speaking]

Yeah.

[Jamie] And if I stay in the field

and don't take any antibiotics,

what could happen? Could I lose my foot?

[Jamie] Ah, [bleep].

The longer an infection goes untreated, the greater the risk

of developing sepsis, a life-threatening condition

in which the body starts to attack

its own organs and tissues.

[Dani] It could be like a blood poisoning.

Do you know what I mean?

Yeah, like this is your life that we're talking about.

Like if you stayed out here, you could potentially die.

[bleep].

2 [Jamie] So...

[Ardith speaking]

So...

Right now...

-So, it's really my decision. -[Ardith] Yeah.

I don't feel like I need to go.

OK.

[Jamie] Right, OK, I just don't want to go home.

-I want to stay here. -OK.

Thank you very much, nurse.

I'm staying here. I'm in this to day 35.

They're gonna need to take me in a stretcher.

I'm going to try to fish with my bow...

an eel.

Everything that can appears in front of me,

Come on!

[Darrin] We already tried fishing.

The fish weren't on the bite, so thinking about

a lobster pot.

All of this washed up on shore a couple of days before

you got here. -[Adam] That's sweet.

I think that one right there is enough to make

a nice circle. You know what I mean?

Like maybe three rings and just

a couple bamboos between them.

Get it high enough that we can have a nice funnel.

Yep.

That's all I was thinking.

We're using what's been washing up on the beach.

We're going to use some old fish net, some vines to make

the frame of the trap.

We'll have a hole in the top of the trap.

The crabs, lobsters, or possibly even fish will come

in through the top to get the bait that's going to be

tied to the bottom.

And once they're in there,

they're staying in there. They'll get stuck.

Gonna snip out the center.

[Adam] This late in the challenge,

it's a pretty smart move

to have some kind of passive trap out there.

Having the ability to possibly get some food

while you're doing other things is a massive win if it pays off.

We got a good spot of stingray guts over here.

They've been out all day and the ants have found them.

I'm glad Darrin's doing that part.

[Darrin] Ew! Ew, they're getting stanky.

[Adam] And the idea of the net, it's gonna help this bait last

overnight and give the lobsters

and the crabs a chance to actually get in the trap.

I must say when Darrin and I work together, we get things

done because we think alike. -Yep.

-Which is pretty nuts. -Not a lot of communication.

-We're both on the same page. -Getting it done.

All right, let's go chuck this thing in the water.

You want me to go fill that pot?

[Malu] I'm gonna tell Ana Lis to do it.

[Mandy] I have never once seen Ana Lis boil a pot of water.

[Malu] I didn't say that, you did.

[Mandy] Oh, I'll say it to her face, it's the truth.

She's been out there for a long time.

[Malu] She's been out there for a long time,

so like if she gets something, it's all forgiven. -[Mandy] Right.

Maybe she feels like this is her last chance to try to get

a win, but she is going to have

to find a point of when is enough.

[Malu] I wonder if Ana Lis is feeling any pressure because

my big kill was a stingray.

Mandy's caught some fish and she just arrived,

and Ana Lis hasn't, but it might be

a little competitive pressure for her

and she might not even realize it.

[Mandy] She just needs to be a little bit more aware, I guess,

of acts of kindness, acts of service.

-Maybe think outside her box. -[Malu] Work.

Here she comes.

Girl, I'm gonna need you to come fill this pot up.

[Ana Lis] OK.

That way we've got two full pots.

[Ana Lis speaking]

prioritize my necessities.

[Mandy] Thank you, Ana Lis.

You're welcome.

-[Ana Lis] Is it OK or lower? -[Malu] No, much lower.

-[Mandy] There, nice. -There you go.

Thank you.

Girl, I'm going to teach you how to work.

[Ana Lis] That's what I'm doing, girl.

[Ally] Been wondering where you went.

I thought I'd go check on Jarrell and what's going on

all over there.

He was real curious about the map.

[Jamie] Yeah?

He's gonna go on ahead

and try to locate the other teams

to try to find the other two sections of the map.

-Yeah? -[Dani speaking]

Jarrell was compromising my own success to make it to day 35

and Jamie's success to day 35.

He is very unpredictable.

He's very unstable.

So it is really uplifting to hear

that he's leaving the farmhouse.

And I'm looking forward to brighter days ahead.

I know that, like, Jamie's injured and you got to

take it easy.

But we're going to have to try to get all these map pieces

together and start getting closer towards rescue.

Yeah, it is that time, man.

Like, we only got nine days left.

-[Patrick] Yeah. -So...

We need to figure out how to go home.

We're all trying to get rescued.

But until Jamie's foot is healed, we're pretty much stuck

here on the beach.

I mean, everyone's trying to get out of here, you know?

And I know the other --

there's still two other pieces of the map.

I'm sure they're just as eager to find those other pieces

as we are. -Mm-hmm.

Jarrell might find them and bring them back here

to meet us.

Now it's time

to start packing up and getting ready for this trek.

Trek of a lifetime, baby.

I can't get rescued here.

I got no map. I got no team.

All I got is myself.

I'm definitely glad I got this in the divorce.

I gotta make a move.

I've seen some hunter trails or their game trails,

and I know it leads uphill to higher ground.

Maybe spot another team.

Fishing line is coming too.

I'm going to need to pack up some resources

because it's going to be a journey.

From his camp in the southern half of the challenge area,

Jarrell plans to follow a series of old hunting trails

north in search of a vantage point to survey

the unknown parts of the island.

But with no map, he has no idea how far he'll have to go

and no indication of what he will find.

[Jarrell] The Seamaster is packed. Packed good, too.

We got a hammock in there. We got taro in there.

We got coconut oil in there. We got some utensils.

If you look up here, we got bananers in there.

I also turned the Seamaster into a backpack with the rope

that I use for my hammock. Everything's coming together.

It's almost the moment of truth, the fire.

I have no fire starter,

and I have to keep these embers going.

The most important thing that I am transferring is this fire.

This fire is life right now.

If those embers go out, I'm screwed.

Dani found this old lantern,

trying to figure out a safe way to carry some coals.

This is looking like maybe the safest bet.

I've only seen a lantern like this in movies,

but I know this glass can take heat.

It's a little beat up.

Could use a shell of a coconut.

You know, when you're shipwrecked,

you don't got supplies, you got to repurpose some stuff

and use your imagination.

I makeshifted a lantern on top of a coconut,

and I'm hoping when I put some coals in there,

I can carry this lantern like Scrooge through the jungle.

Coconut lantern.

Hopefully it works.

So I'm putting coals

in my little lantern.

Try not to get -- not to get the ones

that are too on fire,

but try to get the good ones.

[bleep] [bleep], it's hot.

Ooh, [bleep].

The glass already cracked.

That [bleep] is on fire in there.

Oh, man.

[blowing air]

Oh.

[bleep].

That's about to explode.

-[glass shattering] -Oh [bleep].

2 Oh.

[bleep].

-Yeah, that's about to go. -[glass shattering]

Oh, got to find a solution.

I wonder if this is thick enough that the coals

would burn this.

Fire is everything.

Fire means warmth.

Fire helps keep the mosquitoes away,

boils water, cooks food.

And the worst part about it is

I don't even got a fire starter.

So transporting this fire is everything,

and I'll be screwed if that fire goes out.

I do have an extra metal pot.

I could put the metal pot inside that plastic pot.

[coals clinking]

Trying to put stuff around it to keep it centered.

You know, I'm scared to leave.

With all the resources here,

I could live at Relly's Ranch forever.

Sun's getting high. It's hot.

Got to go.

If this move doesn't pay off and I don't find another team

with a map, I did all this for nothing if that's the case.

But I won't be rescued if I stay here

and I got to make it home to my baby, my daughter.

It looks like it's not burning the coconut too much

and the coals are staying hot.

This plastic is pretty thick.

This is about to be a trek, but if anybody could do it,

Relly can do it.

Phew. Let's get it.

Wish me luck, mama.

[Adam] So yeah, mate, I'm thinking about heading out with a sling.

Yeah, might as well get a quick swim in.

Go check that crab pot.

[Adam] If we're gonna rescue ourselves, you gotta get in

every calorie you can because the closer you get to

the end of this thing, the harder it gets.

[Darrin] You know, this crab trap's built right.

And if there's crabs or lobsters in the area

we set it, it will work.

[Adam] Unfortunately, nothing, which is a bummer,

because we all need it.

[Malu] Are you gonna go fishing, Ana Lis?

[Malu] But you boiling water today, girl.

That's where I get to teach you, is to do it on your own.

Even though it doesn't benefit you...

-[Ana Lis] Mm-hmm. -...jump up.

-[Ana Lis] OK. -And say, "Let me help you."

[Malu] Even though it might not --

[Malu] I don't want to ask you to help do chores.

[Ana Lis speaking]

Even though they say, "No, no, no, we got it,"

you can say, "No, I'm gonna help."

I want you to try to think about that.

[Ana Lis speaking]

If she wants to teach me something,

it's how to be patient because I was...

[Malu] Ana Lis is pissed and that's fine by me.

This is a little sister that I have to look out for

and let her grow, cause she needs it.

[Jarrell] Whew, this is straight uphill.

I'm not an elevation guy, but I climbed a [bleep]load.

I know that.

Burning some calories.

I got to do what I got to do.

It sucks when you have no other options.

Oh [bleep].

Ooh, thorns. Watch for those.

Starting to think maybe I did overpack,

but didn't skip leg day today

and we're just taking it one step at a time, man.

And on the way, if I'm finding any little dry --

any dry sticks,

I'm throwing a little bit in my -- in my stash of fire.

You see that smoke? That's good news.

My biggest concern about this hike is it's really

not the hike. It's where I'm hiking to.

So just the unknown is scary.

Look what I found.

That right there looks like a sitting lookout.

Or someone maybe put a trap or something right there.

So, I know this --

I know this is a hunter's trail.

Someone has definitely came through this pathway.

I don't know when's the last person that came,

but I know Relly's coming.

And hopefully there's something on the other side.

This is the summit right here.

Look at this.

I see a beach across the way that looks super nice.

But man, ain't [bleep] out there.

I don't see any smoke. I don't see any people.

I'm concerned.

Ain't nothing but jungle out there.

To get rescued, you gotta go out on a limb and take a risk.

And that's what Relly does.

We gotta make this happen. Gotta make this happen.

Got to.

Oh, [bleep].

See, lost my footing a little bit.

This is not easy, man.

There you go, Relly.

Don't fall, don't drop the fire.

Don't drop the fire, don't fall.

[Jamie] I'm getting down the beach

and I'm going to go and get some water.

If I'm honest, I'm not feeling the best.

My foot's in a lot of pain.

My campmates are doing everything,

and I'm just lying there and it's hard.

That's why I'm just getting up and I'm fighting through

the pain right now to boil the water and just do anything

that I can and to feel as though I'm helping.

There's a fine line between trying to recover from this

injury on my foot and looking like I'm just lazy.

I feel like I can do things, but as soon as I stand up,

my foot just swells up like a balloon.

It is so frustrating.

[Patrick] How's your foot feeling?

[Jamie speaking]

[Ally] What kind of pain is it?

It's really hard to explain. It's like a...

burning pressure.

For Jamie, the reality is really starting to set in.

This isn't equivalent to just getting a cut or a scrape

or stepping on something on the bottom of your foot that

may heal on its own.

And we are getting pretty concerned about the condition

of his foot healing.

[Jamie] Ow, [bleep].

There's a good chance I've got an infection.

[Patrick] So, what are you thinking?

-[indistinct]. -[Jamie] I don't know.

Just, it's scary.

[Patrick] Yeah.

[Dani] Do you think we should have the doctor come assess it?

[softly] Yeah.

2 [Patrick] Looks like the field doctor's here.

Hey, how are you, Jamie?

Yeah, I've had better days, if I'm honest.

Oh, can I check? Can I touch it?

Well, um...

Let me just let you know that around this area

it's extremely painful to touch. -Painful to touch?

Like a nerve feeling, like an electricity feeling.

You can touch like down here and stuff.

OK.

In order to treat this, I need to pull you out and take you to

the nearest hospital. -[Patrick] Oh my gosh!

I knew there was something wrong with it.

I can survive the venom, but I can't

survive the infection.

[Ally] Yeah, it's not something to mess around with.

Rescue is really important to me.

It means the end of the challenge.

It means the end of a chapter.

And unfortunately, an infection stopped me.

This venomous cove is relentless.

-Jamie, you're like a brother to me. -Bring it in.

-Get better, OK? -Yeah.

-I'll talk to you soon. -I will, I will. You've got this.

Being out here stranded in the Lost Coast

and having to swim with sharks when it's pitch black at night,

getting stung by one of the most venomous animals.

This has been an absolute mind[bleep]

to the biggest extent.

-[Patrick] Good luck, Jamie. -[Dani] We love you.

[Ally] We love you, Jamie.

[Jamie] This is my fifth challenge,

and I'm currently two challenges complete,

three challenges med-tapped.

It doesn't feel too good, and part of me is always going

to feel like I failed, but I will never stop

accepting these challenges, and I will be back.

We're getting to rescue. Seen too many people go home.

[Dani] Jamie was like my best friend out here.

He was my day-one ride or die.

We were gonna make it to day 35 together.

And now I just feel like an overwhelming sense of

loneliness and emptiness.

After being medically evacuated

to the nearest hospital,

Jamie received an aggressive course

of high-dosage antibiotics

before returning home, where he has fully recovered.

I need to go drink some water.

Adam and I are just gonna get my boat out and see

what we can find.

No.

-You're mocking us? -Yeah.

She's mocking us?

I'm OK.

-She's mocking us? -[Ana Lis speaking]

Because I don't need to boil the water.

Malu was passive-aggressive with me all day

[Malu] Do we need to have a talk or what?

[Mandy] Yeah, we do.

With this whole debacle going on, there's tension.

Imma squash it real quick.

Heck no, I'm not here for any of that drama.

I am here to survive.

[Malu] I just want to clear it up with you, OK?

I don't have time to be upset today, so I want to try to

clear the air and have a come-to-Jesus moment.

[Ana Lis speaking]

[Darrin speaking]

At least it's not directed at me this time.

-Stay the [bleep] away. -[Adam] Let's go fishing.

[Malu] All right, we're gonna finish this.

You're not doing your part.

Like boiling water or, like, little things like that.

-Bringing a coconut. -Yeah.

We're all working our butts off.

Nobody's saying that you're not working hard, but there's still

other chores that are going around you, going on while

you're sitting down that I'm doing, that she's doing,

that Darrin and Adam are doing. -[Ana Lis speaking]

[Malu] No, you just threw it in my face right now, but whatever.

I feel like it went way left

and it didn't need to. -Yeah.

[Malu] I agree.

Ana Lis, I love you like a sister.

And all I'm trying to tell you is this.

Please be more aware.

-And if you -- -That's all we're saying.

OK.

That's a huge thing, y'all, because she is stubborn.

We all know that, right? Y'all saw that.

Everybody saw that. She is stubborn.

[Ana Lis speaking]

-I will ask you. -Yeah.

Yeah.

Bah.

[Malu] OK, that was my number-one goal,

was to take care of family.

[imitating rooster crowing]

[Jarrell] I hear a lot of wildlife, I wasn't hearing that earlier.

I'm hearing some birds chirping.

Maybe I'm getting closer to lowlands.

Ah, rocks, ah.

Ah!

My dogs are barking.

Feet are taking a toll.

This hike, man,

it's brutal.

I'm literally dripping, dripping sweat.

I'm watching what trees I grab

because there's thorns everywhere.

I'm also holding hot coals that I cannot let fall.

This is life right here in my hands,

but this is what has to be done to be rescued.

So I got to do it.

I got to do it.

I've made it this far.

I've made it this far.

Don't know where I'm making it to, but at least I'm making it.

I see an old riverbed too.

This is a big find right here, because this lets me know that

there's at least fresh water down at the bottom

and hopefully some other resources.

This looks like a good place to take

a quick little break and just

refuel and take a rest, take a load off.

Oh, my God.

Especially my back.

I might have to start a little fire right here and...

reheat these coals.

Uh-oh. Ah, [bleep].

It was just smoking like 10 minutes ago.

It's all just not hot.

I didn't notice

there ain't no goddamn heat coming from my pot.

Just trying to find a coal with an ember, man.

But I'm not feeling no heat.

It's not good.

Just carried all that all this way for nothing.

I literally have kept this fire going

for seven straight days.

And of course on the hike of my life,

my biggest leap of faith, goes out on me.

[sighs] [bleep].

2 [Jarrell] Just carried all that all this way for nothing.

I can't go back. It's just too late.

Try to get to wherever I'm going, man, so I still have

this sunlight that I can maybe MacGyver something.

I got this glass.

I've seen people hang up glass and start a fire with sun,

but that means I need to...

get down to the bottom while it's still sunny.

I lost my fire, and now I don't got [bleep].

I feel more alone than I was before,

but I got to keep going on this trek.

The sun's going down.

I got no choice.

Ah, [bleep].

Ah, that hurt.

Well, look at this.

There's like a freshwater piping system leading...

somewhere.

That at least shows me there's something down here

and that I'm going the right way.

So, I'm gonna follow this piping down

and see where it leads.

This is a pretty cool setup, whoever set this up.

And I can see the fresh water running through the bamboo.

That's called Philippines MacGyver right there.

I see water.

I see naked people.

Ahoy!

-What the heck? -Oh my god, I'm so happy.

-Oh my god, he's alone. -Is it just you?

-What's up, y'all? -It's Jarrell.

Where are your partners? Are you OK?

-[Ana Lis] Who is he? -I know exactly who you are.

[Jarrell] How you know me?

Because I watched your episode, dude.

-Are you OK? -Oh my god.

Mate, where's the rest of them?

Y'all don't want to know what I've freaking

been through, man. -How you doing?

-Good. -Nice to see you.

-Welcome, Darrin. -What's up Darrin?

Nice meeting you, Darrin. Oh my god.

-Oh my god, it's Jarrell. -Yes.

-What's your name? -Malu, Malu.

-Malu? -Oh my god.

Oh, I'm so glad to see you guys.

-Are you by yourself? -Oh my god.

By myself.

-Adam, mate. -Adam?

So Jarrell is sassy, and I remember him very clearly

because he was very rude towards his partner.

[Jarrell] You're hungry, so your tone is annoying me.

Miss Know-It-All.

[Malu] Let's get in the shade. Hang on.

-Yeah. -Oh, thank you, man. I appreciate it.

Watch out for coconuts falling.

-We need to get to some shade. -Oh.

That's crazy.

[Jarrell] The trek I had down here was insane.

-My feet are killing me. -Have a seat right here.

[Jarrell] So happy seeing you guys.

I haven't talked to anybody really in a week.

-Where are your partners? -[Jarrell] They left me.

I was with Jamie and Dani.

Me and Dani, we got into a bickering situation.

I was letting Dani do her thing the whole time.

And then when I would speak up something about it,

she was like, "Don't talk over me.

And don't do this."

[Malu] He gives us the details,

and it does not make him look so good.

So, tell me something that you might have done wrong.

I told her that she lives in a fantasy survival land.

She didn't want a crab and a shrimp in the same pot

because they would fight.

She said that was inhumane.

-It was a -- -[Ana Lis] Did they try, or do you try to talk about

that to solve the problem?

Yeah, we tried, but then she's like, "I'm gonna go put

the food back," she was threatening to put food back.

Sounds like Dani's running the show over there, mate.

-Yeah. -Uh, she kinda is,

you know, and Jamie,

he didn't even stick up for me.

Dani likes to twist guys around her fingers.

I watched it on "Last One Standing,"

with her doing that with Gary. -[Jarrell] Yeah.

Allison and Patrick, they ended up finding our camp

and they chose to stay with Jamie and Dani.

So I would love a team. I would love a family.

And I got a treat for you guys.

I'm telling my story, my side.

And I could tell the tribe is a little skeptical.

But I got bananas here. I also brought knowledge.

And they say knowledge is power.

-Oh, my god. -Wow.

-Oh, my god. -Oh, my.

[Malu] Jarrell came bearing gifts.

And listen, I'm a girl.

-I love gifts. -Thank you so much.

It's like mushy. It's like pudding.

[Malu] So I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

But just like in all things in life, I got my eye on you.

-So, so, so -- yes. -Thank you so much.

-This is like the sweetest thing. -Thank you, thank you.

[Jarrell] You're welcome. You're welcome.

Where I came from, there's more of those bananas.

I was calling it Relly's Ranch or the Garden of Eden.

There's tons of resources and enough for all of us.

How easy was it to get protein over there?

-[Malu] Yeah. -[Jarrell] There is a big reef.

There is fish.

But we have to take you guys' two maps and go to where

I came from and get the other two maps

if we want to get rescued.

So what you're basically trying to tell us, mate, that

this is not where we need to be.

-We need to be over there. -And I know how to get there.

If we put our pieces together, can you kind of navigate

what we've seen? -Oh, yeah.

OK, come on.

-Flip it and -- -We are...

right here.

So in our map, we all had this piece of this middle section.

-I came from over here. -Right, yeah.

I walked all the way across to where you guys are.

[Darrin] We need to bust a move up and over the hill.

[Jarrell] So we got to bust a move over the hill,

and then we'll end up right here.

It's a treacherous walk, but I know that we all could

do it. I just did it alone.

-We'll get off this freaking island. -Yes.

Question -- about how far do you think?

[Jarrell] It's not easy. Many hours uphill, downhill.

-[Mandy] OK, OK. -Rocky.

Steep?

[Jarrell] It's steep at points.

[Darrin] We need to get over there in time to recover for a rescue.

A week left, and we're out of here.

I really think we should be taking off tomorrow morning.

-Yep. -Gear up to hit the road basically.

-Yep. -Gear up and prep.

We don't know how much time it's gonna take or how much

work it's gonna take to be able to put

this puzzle together and figure out this rescue.

So we need to get to this other side of this island

as fast as we can.

How do you feel about have to come back with that team?

It's not anything where it's gonna cause friction.

It's just I'm just not gonna talk to 'em

and keep my distance.

And I'm just trying to survive 35 days.

[Adam] I don't know what the bloody hell is going on

the other side of this island.

I just hope that it doesn't bleed into our tribe

because we're a strong unit that's been working well.

But ultimately, that's where the rest of the map is.

That is where we need to go to get rescued.

-[Darrin] Start packing to move. -Let's do it.

-[Adam] Time to get ready. -Definitely excited.

-That's what's on my brain. -[Mandy] Yeah, yeah.

[Patrick] I'm, uh, going for a little swim.

See what I can find.

[Dani] Have you tried, like, the spear at all?

-[Ally] No. -Jarrell broke ours

in, like, the first couple of days.

Damn, really? Like, the prongs off the tip?

Yeah, like...

He was, like, stepping on the coral and shooting

the coral with it.

So, are you comfortable with running into him?

If, like, he comes back?

[Dani] Honestly, no.

He was very, like, aggressive with all

of the, like, cursing and everything,

so I'm going to try to avoid him.

I will say, it's gonna, me and Patrick have,

like, a good relationship with him.

I really just don't know at this point, like,

what the real situation is.

I know I judge character based off of what people show to me,

and Jarrell still seems like a nice person, so it's kind of

crazy to think of this other side of him that Dani

and Jamie speak about. -I'm still very disappointed.

It crossed the line of just being negative.

-It just got personal. -Yeah.

I would just be sitting here, and he would come over

and call me, like, every name in the book, and then I would cry,

and then he would come over to where I was crying,

like, mock me crying and laugh at me.

I think Dani was probably initially very relieved

to hear that Jarrell had left.

But going into this final week out here, I know at some point

we need to leave this place and we need to go find

these other groups of people, including Jarrell.

[Dani] I've never had anyone treat me like that in my life.

It just teaches me more about his character

and his integrity. -[Ally] Mm-hmm.

Got a long walk today.

I think we're all ready for it.

-Yeah, we're all ready for it. -Yeah.

I think the only thing I have to say is that there is

one thing I'd like to leave behind here,

because it sounds like some real "Lord of the Flies" [bleep]

on that other side of the island.

But Malu and Ana Lis, to be honest, since we've been here,

there's been something going on there.

I don't know what it is,

but can we please leave that here?

-Yeah. -Of course, I'm ready to survive together.

-Change the vibe. -[Jarrell] Change the vibe.

Yes, I'm good.

-Yeah! -Let's go, last pack up.

All right.

-Well, let's do this, it's time. -[Mandy] Yeah, definitely.

Preparation.

[Adam] Darrin's got his life raft backpack.

That is engineering at its finest.

Got your raft.

[Jarrell] Not looking forward to making this trip again,

but I'm not alone this time.

This fire has kept us warm, mosquito-free.

[Mandy] Adam and I, we've had to move locations twice.

We know how brutal these hikes are.

And I'm not quite sure Ana Lis and Malu

know just how hard that is.

Everybody, you've got everything.

-Ana Lis has her stuff, Malu. -I'm ready.

-Let's go. -[Jarrell] Let's go, dog.

[Darrin] We need strong people in the front and strong people in

the rear so we can get this done as fast as possible.

[Adam] See you later, beach.

[Darrin] Adam's going to be back safety.

I'm going to be front safety.

And Jarrell's going to be our pathfinder today.

[Jarrell] Watch all these sticks sticking out poking your feet.

Time to show 'em Relly's Ranch, baby.

And I got to see my old teammates and my old neighbors.

Dani, Jamie, if they come and apologize,

I'll take 'em back.

Psych. I ain't taking no one back.

I got people on my side. There ain't no take backs.

2 Oh, my God.

-You got it, Ana Lis? -[Ana Lis] Mmm.

[Ana Lis speaking]

[Malu] You got this.

[Malu] You got it.

[Mandy] Ana Lis and Malu,

I'm going to try to motivate them if they need it.

This is my fifth hike. They don't get easier.

They just keep getting more steep.

More narrow.

You got to figure out the the pace and

you really have to watch your footing, and it's gonna be

so worth it, but it is very difficult.

You can't...

But we got this.

[Ana Lis whispering indistinctly]

[bleep]

[Jarrell] Just put your weight on that left hand and just walk up.

And always have three points on something.

Three points.

Be very careful.

You got it, Ana Lis? You need me to grab the water?

[Ana Lis] Hm...

[Mandy] OK.

[Mandy] OK.

At any time, you let me know, OK?

-[Ana Lis] OK. -And I'll switch with you.

[Malu] All right, I'm going to need to pause, so I can see y'all.

-I never want to lose sight. -OK.

Only a second, not too long.

[Mandy] Hey, I think we need to hold up a second, guys.

[Darrin] We're hiking over this. I'm sweating like crazy.

This is a slow hike, which is gonna tax us a lot more

than just getting it done quickly.

Slowest person hiking at a snail pace.

We all have to hike at a snail pace,

but hey, can't leave people behind.

We gotta all get over this island together.

[Jarrell] OK, y'all, we're gonna power on.

-You all right, Jarrell? -Yeah.

OK.

[Ana Lis speaking]

[Malu] This is not easy.

[Darrin] We'll be out of the gully soon.

-Yeah. -[Malu] We'll be out the gully soon?

-Yeah. -Yeah.

I know that this was supposed to be a really hard trek.

Jarrell never said anything about rock climbing.

So I am trying my best to stay positive right now.

But my foothold and my handholds are getting smaller

and smaller and smaller.

-[Adam] You're doing good, Malu. -[Malu] Thank you.

[Adam] Just keep taking your time. Keep being steady.

You're doing everything perfect.

Just make sure every step you got a really rock-solid

footing before you take the next step.

[Malu] This is solid.

This is solid.

What else is solid?

[Adam] There's a good stump on your right.

-[Malu] Whoa! -[Adam] Oh, Malu.

Be careful, mate.

I'm hanging on by like half a pinky freaking toe.

It's so -- This is so hard!

[Ana Lis speaking]

We got a week to get to rescue.

Main focus has got to be staying healthy, staying safe.

And we should take the raft

over and maybe load up on taro and some wood.

That needs to get done ASAP before it gets too hot.

Dani, she's been avoiding the farmhouse area

because of Jarrell's presence.

[Dani] Yeah, I'd like to go over.

[Ally] So the fact that he said that he was leaving the farmhouse

means that now she can safely go back to her old home to

collect all the plant resources that she so much relies on.

Here we are.

No signs of anything, huh?

No.

-[Ally] What are you doing? -[Patrick] Writing a note.

There could be people coming back.

Beach.

Is that like to alert people to go to the beach

if they come here? -Yeah.

[Ally] OK.

Jarrell knows where to find us, and honestly I have no clue

what's going on in the other camps or where they are.

So in order to get rescued, it might be best to stay here

on the beach and hope he brings everyone back with him.

[Ally] I'm gonna go check the banana plant over here.

-See if we got any yellow. -OK.

[Dani] It's kind of surreal being here.

The first thing I notice is, it looks like someone had

a temper tantrum.

Everything is just like thrown over.

Somebody picked up this lantern, carried it over here,

threw it, broke the glass all over the place.

It also looks like a huge mess here.

I was pretty good at keeping things tidy.

[Patrick] Dani is immediately talking about how it looks like Jarrell

got really mad and aggressive and smashed a bunch of stuff.

But all I see is a broken lantern.

I'm not sure why you're gonna jump to conclusions that

it's like a rage fit.

And I was hoping that some of my items would still be here,

but it looks like he just...

took everything for himself.

Trying to sabotage my survival.

Pretty petty.

It just feels like, not really the farmhouse, it just feels

like the aggression house.

I don't want to see him again.

[Jarrell] How's everybody doing?

-[Mandy] We're getting there. -[Darrin] Let's get there.

[Mandy] We're getting there.

[Jarrell] OK, y'all, let's get it.

I can't wait to show up with my team back at Relly Ranch

and see the look on Jamie and Dani's face.

Ooh, I can't wait.

2 Boom. Damn right it did.

That's why you have a machete in the jungle.

Thank you.

[Darrin] We're just gonna keep going, get to that other side,

get some resources, see the other parts

of this map, and know how to get rescued.

It's key, rescue.

This hike is so worth it when we get rescued.

[Malu] It's steep here

and I'm finding my steps.

[Adam] Oh, Malu, be careful mate.

[Malu sighs]

-[Adam] You all right, mate? -[Malu] Yes.

[Adam] Just...

Just watch where you step, try to grab onto something.

[Malu] Are you proud of me?

[Adam] That was a pretty awesome slide you did then.

-Yeah. -[Adam] And you got straight back up.

[Malu] That's the way you're supposed to do it, right?

You're going down the quick way, we wanna go down

the slow way. -This is the hardest thing

I've ever had to do

in this challenge

and in my life.

I'm so glad I have this person behind me.

Here to help, mate.

Guys, the summit's right here.

-[Mandy] Almost at the summit. -Come on.

[Mandy] Almost there, guys.

Oh my God.

Oh my God.

[Malu] We did it, stronger together, Adam.

[Adam] Yeah.

-[Malu] Thank you. -[Adam] You're welcome.

I did that.

[Ana Lis speaking]

I got you, man.

I like to be the leader sometimes, you know?

-You are the leader. -It's cool, man.

I'll take heed. I love it.

Just get us to the land of taro and bananas.

[Jarrell] Let's go.

Dani will merge with me soon, so I don't know

what's going to happen. Can't wait.

Just downhill from here, y'all.

Do you girls want to get the taro and I'll start

collecting firewood and coconuts?

-Yeah! -Ready to get to work?

-Yeah, let's do it! -OK.

[Patrick] Have fun, ladies.

[Ally] So, we are over at the farmhouse to get supplies.

We always need more coconuts.

We want to dig up some more of the taro.

We don't have a lot of firewood, so we want to load

some of that up as well.

OK, the giant swamp taro habitat.

[Ally] All right, let's do it.

What about that one?

That could be a good one.

So, I find it easiest to start by chopping off the leaves.

OK.

Then I take this part of the axe and break the big roots

around the perimeter of the plant.

Swamp taro, it is not an easy plant to harvest.

It's a dirty job.

It takes a lot of time and effort.

It's much easier with multiple hands on the job.

But it's also my only food source right now.

And with Jarrell gone,

there's an opportunity where I can take it.

Coming up.

Hey!

-Yeah, buddy! -We got him!

-Whoa! -Oh, that's heavy!

-That is heavy stuff. -Yeah.

-Ah! -Ah! [laughs]

-Ha-ha! -Nice!

Swamp women!

All right, let's put it down for now.

You guys, this is my first viewpoint on my way up

a few days ago, we are close.

That's the beach line down there.

-[Darrin] Nice. -[Mandy] Very nice.

[Jarrell] We're close, y'all. We're close.

[Dani] Let's go bring this to the raft.

Allison, that was a great little haul.

[Ally] It was.

[Jarrell] The Garden of Eden is right down there, y'all.

[Darrin] Nice. Nice.

[Jarrell] AKA Relly Ranch.

[Darrin] Let's be quiet and sneak up on the other people.

Give them a good surprise.

Can't wait for them to see my face first.

All right.

[Patrick] Is Patrick already down there?

[Ally] No, he's gonna walk over there.

[Dani] Oh, he's walking back to the shelter?

-[Ally] Yes. -[Dani] So what's he doing?

[Ally] I have no idea.

Everything over here is probably a little bit

more unexplored, and there could

be resources that could be very helpful to us.

I'm gonna take a look around

and see if there's anything I can find.

-[Mandy] All right. -[Jarrell] We're close, y'all.

We're real close.

[Ally] All right, let's load her up and head out.

[Dani] Let's do it.

This is a good day.

[Jarrell] You guys, this is my old home.

This is Relly's Ranch right here.

-[Darrin] Nice. -Wow.

[Jarrell] This is all the palm fronds, coconuts.

The good old days.

Where is everybody?

It's like abandoned or something.

[Jarrell] Maybe they didn't take it over.

[Darrin] You found an old lantern too?

[Jarrell] It broke, though, so we got to watch this glass.

[Adam] Oh, look at this.

They left a sign here saying, beach and an arrow.

Is there another shelter down on the beach, Jarrell?

Yeah, our old beach shelter's down there, but it is probably

like a 15-minute

kind of treacherous walk.

[Adam] So Jarrell's location

has a pretty good flow of running water.

It has a lot of taro, there is a couple banana trees,

lots of coconut trees,

but the beach location's access to the ocean

and all that seafood and calories,

you know, it seems like a pretty good location.

Ultimately, I think before we set up camp here,

we need to check out the other locations first.

[Patrick] Wait a second.

There's people at camp.

Ka-kaw, ka-kaw!

[Adam] There's another survivalist coming.

You look like you're ready for war or something, mate.

[Patrick] Hey, I'm the legend slayer.

-Hi. -I'm Patrick.

-Mandy. -Nice to meet you.

-Friend, hi! -Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you.

[Malu] I have said a lot of things about Patrick.

They haven't all been the highest quality,

but he shows up and he is so welcoming.

It's amazing.

Is there more naked people over there?

-Yo, Jarrell! -[laughs]

-Tricky! -Darrin!

-What the [bleep]. -Ah!

How you doing?

[Patrick] I've been friends with Darrin for three years now.

We've competed against each other twice,

competed with each other, worked together,

and out here, he's gonna be a huge asset.

Hey Patrick, how many people are with you?

Dani, Allison, Jamie was here for a little bit,

but he got stung by a stingray, and then the doctors came

and they're like, "We need to like get you operated on."

So they pulled him.

Jamie is tapped.

Tap-tap-tap-tap-tap.

And you know, you reap what you sow, buddy.

So take your ass home and ice up, bruh.

I don't know what you guys all are thinking about camping

or where you want to stay or whatnot.

We were gonna go see, because we kind of want to see

everything before we decide. -[Patrick] Totally.

[Patrick] Although Dani and Jarrell don't get along too well,

so like... -[Mandy] Yeah, we heard a little bit.

[Adam] Yeah, it sounds like a real "Lord of the Fly"

show over here. -[Patrick] Yeah.

I hope that everyone can put it to the side so we can focus on

getting the [bleep] out of here. -[Patrick] Yeah, same.

[Jarrell] About to go back to the beach house.

Ain't seen Dani in a few weeks.

I just feel my energy levels, they're shifting.

And I'm just, I'm getting my mental ready

for whatever that's about to happen.

[Patrick] I should probably let Dani know

that someone she does not want to really run into is

back on these beaches.

[Mandy] It sounds like the situation

between Jarrell and Dani was pretty intense.

Who knows what [bleep]show we're going into?

[Patrick] I just want my teammate to know what's going on.

OK.

[Patrick] Dani doesn't want to see Jarrell.

And I know that contention's coming.

2 [Patrick] I have Jarrell back in town,

which could be difficult for Dani.

Jamie's gone, and Dani's relying on

Allison and myself.

I got no problems with Jarrell.

I think Jarrell is a great guy,

but the tension in the camp is gonna be hard,

and no one really wants to deal with that kind of

tension and aggravation out here.

We're just trying to get to rescue.

-Hey guys. -[Ally] Hey.

[Patrick] So, I saw a bunch of people over at the farmhouse.

-Were they naked? -[Patrick] They were naked.

I got some bad news.

And good news.

There was also someone that you might not want to see

over there.

Everyone wants to come over here.

-[Ally] Everyone? -Yeah, so I'm not sure...

what to do about that.

Um, please don't invite Jarrell here.

He's not welcome here.

I mean, he finds so much pleasure in name-calling

and micromanaging me and mocking me.

I know that no one's gonna wanna listen to it.

Adam was already saying he hopes that Jarrell can put

his differences behind him and focus on rescue.

-I can do my best to say -- -[Dani] He is not coming

in the shelter.

Or here, this is an extension of my shelter.

I can't say he's not gonna stop in.

-That he chose. -I think he just doesn't wanna be alone anymore.

[Dani] I gave him a choice.

-Yeah. -[Dani] He doesn't want to be alone

because he doesn't do anything.

He just is looking to leech off of somebody else.

I don't want to have to be around him.

I feel like he should be removed from my presence.

All right, well, I'm gonna take the raft over.

Try to get some firewood.

The camps combined, we'll end up needing more.

I'll see you guys in a little bit.

[Adam] I'm going to get this fire cranked up for these taro.

[Mandy] Did we decide that we're just going to leave that?

[Darrin] Yeah, it's like half-cooked right now.

-[Mandy] OK. -[Darrin] So if we just walk away from it, it'll fully cook.

-OK. -Be ready in the morning.

-We'll just carry this? -We'll just carry that little pot over to munch on the beach.

OK. Well, let's go to the beach.

-Yeah. -You want to lead the way, Jarrell?

[Jarrell] Yeah.

[bleep], ouch. Watch that stick.

-[Ally] You wanna go elsewhere? -[Dani] I don't know.

I mean, he's not gonna act out, like, in a group setting.

I know you don't wanna see his face, but...

Does it feel --

Jarrell has been trying to sabotage my survival

since day one,

and I don't want to see him.

I don't like to make drastic decisions.

I like to be cool, calm, and collected,

especially a major decision.

But I'm at rock bottom.

[Sara speaking]

It's definitely strange leaving a challenge,

but I am tapping out

just because this was not the experience that I wanted.

I just don't do well with a high-conflict partner.

Guessing that boat's here for Dani.

Wow, she's really just leaving.

[Dani] The Lost Coast is...

no joke.

It's definitely full of challenges.

I guess she's not saying goodbye.

I'm really feeling bummed, because I really envisioned us

finishing on day 35 together.

For her to be so close to day 35...

and gone.

It's just this really big, hard pill to swallow.

It sucks so [bleep] bad.

2 It sucks so [bleep] bad.

[bleep].

Hey guys.

Oh, I'm not looking forward to this conversation.

Since the moment that I met Dani, I've just felt like

there's been this instantaneous vibe match.

For her to leave in such a haste like that without

saying goodbye or anything,

it really makes me question her character.

And I'm feeling really let down.

Now I feel like I can't trust her.

Dani went -- Dani went home.

[Patrick] Dani went home?

Because of Jarrell?

-Um, yeah. -Wow.

She just left, like, really fast.

-I'm still like processing it, 'cause -- -Yeah.

Sorry, dude.

Dani's tapped out. This is crazy.

Rather than face her rookie and square things away,

she's decided to leave the challenge completely.

She banished Jarrell and now she just

banished herself?

That sucks.

[Ally] But yeah, we got to carry on

again without one of our teammates. -[Patrick] Yeah.

Well, I already said, it's you and I to the end.

And yeah, it really is. Yeah.

[Patrick] After all we've been through,

watching Jamie struggle through his pain,

nights around the fire, days out on the beach,

all this time together, and abandons us without a word?

What the hell, Dani?

We could help people come across and we could let them

know there's one less person and one more spot

in the shelter. -Yeah.

But also, you could meet everybody.

-[Ally] That's true. -[Patrick] Fresh start.

Better than you being here with everything on your mind.

Yeah.

We lost one friend, but we found five more.

-Yeah. -[Jarrell] This way.

I hear voices.

-Oh, hey guys. -Hi guys.

[Patrick] So crazy news, Dani ended up tapping out.

-Shut -- -She did not.

-[Darrin] Damn. -Ah!

[Patrick] Just the two of us now, so more room at camp.

-[Ana Lis] Are you kidding me? -Sounds like good news to me.

Dani spent 28 days out here.

And she tapped just because

she didn't want to see this beautiful face.

And just because you didn't have your way, you're tapped.

That's the princess treatment I'm talking about.

I'm sorry, Dani. Better luck next year.

I was like, "Oh."

[Adam] Why?

I think it's a combination of,

like, really missing Jamie,

not enough protein, and... -Impending drama.

[Jarrell] I wasn't going to talk to her anyways.

I don't know why she had to tap.

You know, it was draining

being with Jamie and Dani and always thinking, like,

"Damn, am I the bad guy?" Like, "What did I do?"

You know, I'm happy that Jamie and Dani are gone

and they're getting a taste of their own medicine.

Now I'm with my new tribe, and it's like a new start.

I haven't been here in so long, man.

-Get my bag unpacked. -[Ana Lis] This place is wonderful.

A lot of memories here, and I'm back.

This is where basically it all started.

Crazy, I've been through a roller coaster, boy.

And now I'm the only one left from my team.

Crazy to think about.

[bleep] yeah.

I knew I was the man. I knew it.

They tried to count me out. You can't count a player out.

Do you guys have a preference of where I put my stuff?

Not really.

We're going to have to figure out our new arrangements here.

We are now a team of eight.

We have a week left.

This is it. This is our last stretch.

This is where we're going to be before we rescue ourselves.

I want to see all the four pieces of the map.

Now that the pleasantries are settled, we need to get all

four pieces of this map together to reveal what's

in the center. This could be our rescue point.

-This is really exciting. -So I got lower left.

-I got top right. -Oh, it's a jigsaw puzzle.

-Yeah. -OK.

-And then... -Wow.

-It fits. -Oh, wow.

-Is that an island? -That's an island.

This is the key, I think, to our rescue.

Is it a lighthouse?

We finally put the pieces of the map together.

And there's one spot on the map that we haven't been to yet.

And it's right smack dab in the middle.

-Where are we right now? -Right now, we are here.

-We got a long ways to go. -So...

That island, it is miles

and miles away. -But I think...

to rescue ourselves, I have a crazy...

I have a really crazy plan.

I think everyone has to agree though, but it's gonna require

some really crazy [bleep] to pull this off.
