CLAUDIA VOICEOVER: After yet another banishment...
I am a Faithful.
What?
..the Traitors took a risk with their fifth murder.
We're going to murder Adam.
Yeah.
With the gamble paying off...
Oh, God.
..a Shield confession caused speculation around the castle...
I can't not look at you now, because that is deceptive behaviour.
Self-preservation.
Who knew that Adam didn't have a Shield?
I know. That's really key.
..a spine-chilling mission...
SCREAMING
..saw yet more Shield gameplay.
I want to play for the Shield.
And with pressure mounting at the Round Table...
If I was a Traitor and I had to murder,
I would have picked you, Stephen.
Jade, Maz had voted for you. He got murdered.
Amanda got banished.
Sam, when you said you and Adam didn't have a Shield,
I don't think that was true.
..it meant Sam faced his fate.
Faithful. Oh...
THEY GASP
But who will be the Traitors' next victim?
So, our top three is Jessie... Matt... And Faraaz.
This is going to decide
whether or not I make it through with you to the end.
This is The Traitors.
# Just like the white winged dove
# Sings a song, it sounds like she's singin'... #
Oh, God.
OK, let's do it.
# Just like the white winged dove
# Sings a song, it sounds like she's singin'
# "Ooh, ooh, ooh"
# I hear you in the morning... #
Last night, the Traitors committed yet another murder.
With numbers dwindling and only ten players left,
who won't be joining everyone for breakfast?
# 17... #
JAMES: Are we the first ones in? JACK: Surely not.
Woohoo! First time for everything, baby. First time. Oh, my God.
Yay, we've made it. First time. Aw.
First pick at the salmon. Jack, grab the salmon
and bring it down here. Yeah.
THEY CHUCKLE
I'm so surprised it wasn't me that was murdered.
I mean, such mixed emotions, because,
you know, I'm relieved I'm still here,
I live to fight another day,
but Stephen, Jessie and Jade,
I trust them a hell of a lot.
If any of those three go, I'll just be absolutely distraught.
We should be so proud of ourselves,
because look at how many of us are left.
There's so few of us now.
KNOCKING ON DOOR
Come in. Please, please, please,
please, please be...
Stephen! Stephen! Yeah. Oh...
Yes. STEPHEN: Hello, hello.
Oh, God. JACK: Fancy seeing you two here.
Walking into breakfast this morning,
it's probably the most anxious I've been.
CHUCKLING: We're a bit matchy-matchy today.
We have gone a bit matchy-matchy today with the flared jeans.
Oh, my God.
I kind of try and actually forget
what I did the night before,
but I think I underestimated how hard it would be.
So who do we have?
Faz, Jessie, Rachel, Matt, Ellie.
Wait, wait. That can't be...
That can't be all that's coming in, though.
Yeah. There is only ten of us left.
Do you think Rachel could be in trouble?
If she's not at this table,
they have taken out a very strong Faithful.
Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
We've all got to start looking at each other.
And now I'm absolutely certain. I was...
I was really upset last night, because I just thought...
I was accepting that I was ready to go... Yeah.
..but I also don't want to go.
I was worried for you last night, to be honest. JADE: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
KNOCKING ON DOOR
ROXY: Come in.
Oh, wow. JADE: Oh. JAMES: Yes.
RACHEL VOICEOVER: Coming into breakfast,
it's really hard to be false when you know something's coming.
We made a really difficult decision last night,
and I think there's going to be
a lot of drama to come.
Wait. Hang on. Who's left?
Who is it? Who IS left?
ROXY: Matt, Jessie and Faz.
This is getting really tough now.
If Matt doesn't come back...
If Matt doesn't come back, I'm going to eat that table.
I need Jessie to come back.
Well, the obvious to me for being in trouble
would be Faz and Jessie.
KNOCKING ON DOOR
Come in.
Hello. ALL: Hello. STEPHEN: Oh...
JAMES: Shock horror. Jessie. STEPHEN: It's Jessie.
JACK SIGHS
Well, that's absolutely gutting. No.
Jessie doesn't serve the longer game,
but the risk is on your side.
Yeah. I don't think I can see a way of me getting through
with Jessie still here.
OK. She's the one pushing the theory.
It has a huge, huge ramification for you.
I know. So I will support your decision.
I can make a song and dance tomorrow about how it implicates me.
Oh, my God. Who have I become?
I know. You're a demon.
JESSIE SQUEALS, LAUGHS
Oh, gosh!
Knew it.
"Dear Jessie,
"by order of the Traitors, you have been murdered.
"Signed, the Traitors."
Oh, gosh!
Oh, that's it. That is it.
Now I possibly believe Stephen wasn't a Traitor
and they have totally pinned this on him,
cos if it is, he just would have kept me in, but...
I just really hope that the Faithfuls win.
JESSIE SIGHS
WHISPERING: Jessie.
STEPHEN EXHALES EXPLOSIVELY
That's one way to silence us, isn't it?
ROXY: Mm-hm. Yeah. STEPHEN: I know.
I think I know who's done it. That's brutal.
ROXY: What does that do to us Faithfuls now?
What direction...? What does it give us?
I mean, last night she was coming for Stephen.
Whoever has done it, I know exactly what the plan is.
Whatever the Traitor wants right now
is to have no-one looking at them
and looking at everyone else.
I mean, I'm playing with fire.
Jessie's murder obviously shines the spotlight directly at me,
but I'm just hoping that
this looks way too obvious,
that people start to think,
"Well, it absolutely couldn't be Stephen."
I've just had to take a massive gamble on this.
JAMES: I'm not having that.
We're going to get a Traitor out tonight. That's it.
I mean, she was so obviously a Faithful.
Yeah.
So, the Traitors told me that they were going to murder Jessie.
That would be my sign
that the following night,
they would recruit me.
I'm continuing to play as a Faithful at this point,
and if I get recruited
and I can spin the power
to throw another Traitor under the bus,
then brilliant.
We have to hope, then, there's two and not three.
There can't be three.
Hello, players. Morning.
It's a heartbreaking morning...
Yeah. ..because Jessie has been murdered.
I have a question for you.
Do you want revenge?
ALL: Yeah.
In order to catch a Traitor,
you are going to have to think outside the box.
Oh, Claudia.
I will see you shortly for today's mission.
Right. Well, I think I have the next one.
And I'm not telling anybody.
But I think somebody messed up last night
and didn't realise they messed up.
And I think I have them.
I hope you're right.
I will take it all to the Round Table tonight.
I made a bit of a bold move this morning at the table,
and announced that I think I have another one.
I obviously don't.
I'm trying to trip people up,
and I also want to make a couple of people nervous today,
because nervous behaviour amplifies
everybody's suspicions in the castle.
I need people to start looking in the opposite direction from Stephen.
It's self-preservation wrapped in a wee bow,
but it's a bit of a cunning bow.
MATT WHISPERING: Oh, man. That's hard.
I don't know what it reveals, though.
That's the problem.
Everyone looks sad because it's Jessie. Yeah.
But then is it guilt or is it just genuine sadness? Yeah, I get you.
JAMES: Bastards.
STEPHEN: Mate, I'm stressed.
Yeah, it's horrible. I just know exactly what the plan is,
because she came for me at the Round Table last night,
and it's just such an obvious... It's not you, though, mate.
It's not you. It's such an obvious gameplay.
I knew that the fallout
from this murder was going to be pretty big,
but I'm just hoping that it pays off for me.
You got room for one more? Yeah.
I'm so deflated.
Jessie was the person I was going to talk to. Today?
Yeah, because I was like, "I don't know who to trust."
Ugh, this game!
You don't know who's playing you.
I mean, last night at the Round Table,
Jessie was coming back to Stephen,
so maybe it was just Stephen protecting himself
by getting rid of his main accuser
before she could build up steam.
Stephen is the only person in the game
that has voted out both Traitors.
Hmm. And I thought to myself, "If Jessie is murdered tonight,
"it can't be Stephen, cos that's just
"so stupid at this stage in the game,
"because then obviously everyone would look at him."
But do they? Or are we all rejecting everything
that feels obvious now?
I don't know. I don't know.
Say it is Stephen. You wouldn't be that daft. Would you?
We were very aware that by murdering Jessie,
it's going to point directly at Stephen.
But nobody is sticking up
for anybody at this point,
so I can't just come right out and stick up for him.
But we just need to navigate today carefully.
To do this to someone like Jessie, I just...
I feel so angered by it.
Today I'm just not going to hold back,
and as hard as it's going to be for me to bring certain people
up at the Round Table, I'm just going to have to do it.
Jade and Stephen are my number ones.
And I've always thought in the back of my mind,
the Traitors will keep a Faithful in that could be used
as a pawn right at the very end of the game,
and it has crossed my mind that it could be one of them -
or both of them.
I'm just going to have to say it, cos I can't hold back.
I've trusted you both from day one.
STEPHEN: Yeah. JADE: Yeah. Oh, God. This is so hard.
Mate, mate, mate. No. If you've got suspicions
on either one of us... This is the problem.
This is the problem. Just say it. It's fine.
..you just have to say it. The problem is, I don't feel like I have suspicions on either of you.
My gut still tells me that I can trust you both,
but the problem is, it's so clear now. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's someone that I'm really close with and I really trust,
and they're keeping me here.
What I will say - and I'm saying this
more cos I know that I'm a Faithful -
we do have to look at each other.
I can't shake that it's someone that I'm really close with.
JACK EXHALES SHARPLY
What I've done by murdering Jessie
is I've removed one vote from me.
But it has kind of angered a few people, Jack especially.
But this is the only way I can play the game now.
I have got to be ruthless.
I'm starting to realise
that I might have made a really big mistake in this game.
With the prize pot currently standing at £54,250,
the players have a chance to add to it even further
in today's mission.
STEPHEN: She said, "Think outside of the box."
I think we're going to be opening different boxes
and things might jump out as we open them.
Oh, God.
STEPHEN LAUGHS
For the Traitors, Jessie was a really clever murder,
because she literally said Stephen's name last night.
ROXY: Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
It could be the perfect set-up or there could be something in it.
I'm mainly on Jade, but the Stephen thing,
I'm like... Jessie was coming for him.
She was quite good at picking up on things.
I still think that I'm going for Jade.
If it's not Jade, then Stephen's my next vote.
CHUCKLING
Oh, God. We're getting into boxes.
ELLIE CHUCKLES
MATT CHUCKLES
We walk into the mission
and we see all these boxes lined up,
and we are just thinking, "What the hell is going on?"
Players, welcome to today's mission.
It's going to be fun.
Unless you don't like small, enclosed boxes.
STEPHEN CHUCKLES
At breakfast I said you should think outside the box.
Well, it's time for you to think very much INSIDE the box...
..because in just a moment,
you will each climb into one of these boxes.
Once the lids are closed,
you will have to answer some questions
about the Traitors' opinions of you all.
Your goal is to match your answers with those of the Traitors'.
For every correct match,
I will add £250 to the prize fund.
Understood?
Yep. But here's the exciting bit.
The Traitors have not given their answers yet.
They're on the back foot. Oh, yeah.
After each question, the Traitors will secretly emerge
from their boxes to decide on an answer.
Once they've submitted their answer,
the Traitors will climb back into their boxes.
I will then ask all of you to pop out
and reveal your chosen answer.
RACHEL VOICEOVER: I think my stomach just shrivelled up into a tiny little prune.
I'm very clumsy.
I'm going to trip and fall out of one of these boxes.
I don't know how we're going to play it,
but we need to be so careful.
And if you're wondering, "Gosh, this is very risky for the Traitors,"
you'd be right.
STEPHEN VOICEOVER: My heart just dropped.
This was going to be an opportunity
for the Faithfuls to try and catch out the Traitors.
My stress levels were pretty high.
Now, please get inside your boxes
and get ready for the first question.
The Traitors probably are feeling the pressure
to not accidentally incriminate themselves.
I will look at the people that I suspect are Traitors
and see how they answer and how they behave.
For the first question...
Please shut yourselves in the boxes
and choose your answer.
Claudia told us that we all had to get inside the boxes.
We'd all be asked a series of questions.
Then the Traitors would sneak out of the boxes
to give their answer to the questions,
and we all had to match the answers that the Traitors had given.
Honestly, in that moment, I was thinking,
"I'm going to put my ear to the wall of the box,
"see if I can hear anyone getting out."
So, it was a really sneaky mission.
We got a little secret signal
and a little light flashed behind us and we popped up.
BOXES CREAK
CLAUDIA GASPS
Oh, they're coming.
I thought, "Oh, God, I'm going to get caught here."
It was very scary because I know
that my fellow players are just
in the boxes right beside me,
and that's quite a nerve-racking thing,
being so close to people with your identity as a Traitor revealed.
WHISPERING:
RACHEL CHUCKLES QUIETLY
Sh. RACHEL WHISPERING:
WHISPERING: Yeah.
We wanted to obviously
get money for the prize pot,
but at the same time,
we wanted to make sure that in any of the answers we gave,
it's not going to incriminate either of us.
And then we very quietly,
very carefully pulled
the hatch down...
BOXES CREAK
..as though nothing's ever happened.
Come out of your boxes.
So, four people voted for James...
..four for Faraaz...
..and one for Jack.
My eyes went straight to Ellie and I just thought,
"Why did she put Jack?"
That was a rogue answer for me. I didn't get it.
I do think it's highly suspicious,
but that helps my game, because it stirs the pot
and it will work to our advantage.
So how will you know if you've matched the Traitors' answer?
EERIE MUSIC BOX TUNE PLAYS
Here we go.
Yeah! Yes.
Thanks, guys.
Four correct matches.
That is £1,000.
Obviously I'm answering as a Faithful
putting myself in the Traitors' cloak-y shoes,
but there's no way the Traitors are all going to put the right answer.
They're clever cookies up there.
So that was slightly telling.
It's time for the second question.
Get back in your box.
BOXES CREAK
I tried so hard to hear anything.
Right at the back of the box there was a tiny little hole of light.
And I was thinking, "I wonder if I could see any movement or shadows."
RACHEL WHISPERING:
Knowing that you're throwing money away
to get an answer wrong,
it's a weird situation to be in,
but right now,
staying in the game for me is more important than money.
Come out of your boxes.
So, James got five votes...
..Jade got one...
..Stephen got one,
Roxy got one....
..and Matthew got a vote, too.
Rachel, you picked Matthew. Why?
I think it's the confessional box,
and I kind of think that might have helped them
more than it helped us. Mm.
Here we go.
EERIE MUSIC BOX TUNE PLAYS
Oh, well done.
Five people matched.
That's £1,250 added to the pot.
MATT VOICEOVER: OK. Stephen's got two right here.
Is that too obvious to be a Traitor and get them both right?
Or is that because he wants to bank money?
OK, players, the next question...
Good luck. Please close your boxes.
BOXES CREAK
Sh.
STEPHEN WHISPERING:
BOXES CREAK
Come out of your boxes.
Oh. Quite the mix.
So, Ellie got four votes...
..Jack got two...
..Stephen got one,
Faraaz got one
and Jade, you chose yourself. Why?
I just think that my days are numbered here,
because I'm basically being put in a situation
where I'm set up for banishment.
So I think that's why they don't
think I'm deserving of the final.
It's time to find out.
EERIE MUSIC BOX TUNE PLAYS
JACK: Oh.
That is quite sad.
But ultimately, they're going to want to keep people in
that have heat on them already.
And I've had quite an easy ride so far, so...
Damn Traitors.
Only two of you got it right,
but that's £500 added to the prize fund.
So are you ready for the final question?
Here we go.
Into the boxes you go.
Come on, brain.
BOXES CREAK
STEPHEN WHISPERING:
BOXES CREAK
Come out of your boxes.
OK. Three people chose Rachel...
..Faraaz got two...
..Matthew, you've got two...
..James got one...
..and Jack got one.
James, you chose Rachel. Why?
She has those FBI skills.
Yeah, you're just so smooth.
RACHEL VOICEOVER: Shut up, James.
Shush.
James was on the money.
So I have to keep an eye on him.
Let's have a look.
EERIE MUSIC BOX TUNE PLAYS
Yes! Faraaz.
Two correct answers.
£500.
How do you feel?
I would have loved to be a Traitor, to be honest, so I'm quite happy. CHUCKLING
RACHEL VOICEOVER: Oh, my God. That was challenging.
Yeah, it had me worried, so I'm delighted to have survived that.
Nothing comes easy in this game
and you do have to be prepared.
From a Traitor's perspective,
it had raised suspicions that weren't for either me or Stephen.
But have we done enough to deflect from Stephen?
We shall see.
Players, well done.
You have added £3,250 to the prize fund
out of a possible £9,000.
Think about what you've learnt.
Please put it to good use,
because the next time I see you will be at the Round Table.
Off you go. ALL: Bye. See you soon.
Well done.
JACK SIGHS
I was trying so hard to hear
if I could hear anyone getting out of their box.
JAMES: It was a hard mission.
The only one I felt, just cos my crosshairs are on him,
was Matthew, even more than Roxy. I was like,
"You may as well just say, 'I'm a Traitor.'"
So strong, mate. I think I'm just going to have to stick with Matt.
I haven't seen anything that's changed my mind today.
Jade said herself for the third question.
I was going to say that, because... Least deserving of the final.
..that was very telling, that.
Was Stephen always correct?
Uh, so, he got the first two right.
And then he got the last one right.
Either Stephen's a Traitor
who's hiding among the right votes,
or he's a Faithful who's really on the money.
So, I think you're going to vote for Jade tonight.
I don't know. I mean...
..I've gone back and forth on Stephen.
Hmm. Before Ross was banished,
he was suspicious of him. Mm-hm.
Jessie, that's her final thought that we've got from her.
MATT SIGHS
He's on my list as well.
I think the conversations around Jade are kind of bubbling up,
but it could be Stephen.
He came back from that cage mission.
That was suspicious.
What's going on there? Was Jessie right?
She was really perceptive.
I just want to get it over and done with now.
Unless... Well, Rachel said she's got something
to bring to the table, remember?
So that might be interesting.
We'll go to billiards.
IMITATING ACCENT: Go to t'billiards.
Go t'billiards, love.
THEY CHUCKLE
Bloody hell. That was really good.
That was really good. Oh, God.
Like Judy was back
in the room with us. Hey.
THEY CHUCKLE
Ooh, it's lovely and warm in here, isn't it? Hmm.
This is uncomfortable for me,
because you know how much I think of you. Yeah, of course.
And from day one, like... I know.
But all that's going around my head is...
.."Why am I still here? And is someone keeping me in?"
Mm-hm. And I've been loyal to you, just out of natural loyalty.
STEPHEN CHUCKLES
But I just wanted to share
with you my thoughts.
I'm just concerned
and I just wanted to put it to you, I guess.
All I can say to you is that I'm not a Traitor.
I am 100% Faithful.
But I don't really have anything else to say,
because I'm not actually keeping you here,
because I'm not a Traitor.
I think you're right to look at the people around you.
STEPHEN VOICEOVER: I've got a lot of heat on me right now.
It doesn't take many votes to get you out of the game.
I could very easily be banished tonight,
and so I need to be very careful about what I'm doing now.
Where's your head at?
I'm thinking either Ellie or Jade.
But what is it about me beyond this Round Table thing?
I'm kind of tired of this. I feel like I've got better,
I speak up more, and it's just the same story over and over again.
I know, but if I can't shake it, then I can't shake it,
and I think... But you couldn't shake Sam.
I know, but I'm obviously going to be wrong at something.
I'm not going to be right all the time.
I think there'll be a little heat coming my way.
Not speaking up on those early Round Tables
was genuinely because I found it quite hard.
You've told me I'm not speaking enough.
That's suspicious. But the problem is,
then people were like,
"Well, now you're speaking up more, and that's traitorous"
And you're like, "I don't know what you want from me at this point."
Sorry, I'm quite grumpy today.
No, it's all right. Don't worry.
ELLIE CHUCKLES
I think everybody's a wee bit on edge, aren't they?
You're not. You're just... Hmm.
But I'm like that. I know it's a game.
You know what I mean? It's... Mm.
I think the game is getting to a lot of people.
I think cracks are starting to show.
There's a lot of fatigue now,
but I'm not getting too wound up about things.
Generally, I would say I'm quite calm,
but I think some people, including my sister,
might say very different, to be honest.
I think this is going to be a...interesting one.
Yep.
I think this is the first time that I don't know
what way this Round Table's going to go.
If Stephen doesn't handle the Round Table properly,
it could be over for him.
I'll get my head in the game straight away
and come at the Round Table with my suspicions,
which need to be convincing tonight.
# Paid the price
# Fought the fight... #
Five Faithful and two Traitors have been banished.
So who will be asked to leave the castle forever tonight?
MATT: I hope I can get through this Round Table, yeah.
I'm not ruling myself out.
And I will fight for my life,
until the Traitors keep up their end of the deal
and recruit me.
I definitely don't want to be banished tonight.
I promised Ross that I would do whatever I could to win this,
and so I have to see it through to the end for both of us.
It's just a bit of a joke at this point,
because we're losing Faithfuls.
People do underestimate me
because I am young, compared to a lot of people in the castle.
But I want to catch the Traitors
because they have given me
so much grief.
Yeah. I don't want you to win.
STEPHEN VOICEOVER: I'm really nervous about tonight's Round Table.
I do feel like it's a bit of a miracle that I've made it this far.
I'm expecting it to be a really close vote.
I'm either going to go home,
or I'm going to make it through by the skin of my teeth.
# Maybe you can save me... #
Players, welcome back to the Round Table.
Today you added £3,250 to the pot.
That means your current prize fund total
is £57,500.
At the mission, you tried to get into the Traitors' heads.
I'd like you to do the same now, please.
Look around and ask yourself this.
Who's lying to you?
Who's murdering you?
Who is setting you up for banishment?
The floor is yours.
I'm deliberately not starting first.
CHUCKLING: I mean, I'll go.
Jade, I've come to the table with your name in mind.
You know, it goes all the way back to Amanda -
you know, that her intuition might have been onto something.
Then picking up on my own suspicions
of you. Which are...? Well, I'll get to them.
OK. For one thing, I do think
you're quite defensive around the table,
and I appreciate you've been under a lot of fire
and it's not pleasant,
but it is a bit different to how Faithfuls behave quite often.
They stay quite calm.
It's something. It's not total proof.
Also, when Matt pointed out that, actually,
everyone who's voted for you at the table had gone from the process,
I thought, if you were a Faithful,
it would have been a perfect way to frame you if I'd been murdered.
I thought I WAS going to get murdered,
and then when I came back today, I thought,
"Well, you're not going to frame yourself if you are a Traitor."
I think you've deliberately put yourself in that situation
to then put this on me.
I have said this from the start -
that I am being framed.
Everything that happened with Amanda played into the Traitors' hands.
Hugo came to my defence.
It played into the Traitors' hands.
The voting patterns,
and then people around me who voted for me go.
The Traitors had control of that -
who got murdered.
And it's the most perfect way
to put me in a situation where I've been set up.
So the way that I'm looking at it is
because we have so few Round Tables left,
who is putting me up for banishment tonight?
And because you're putting my name out there,
that makes me incredibly suspicious of you.
And also, Matt threw my name out at the table last night as well.
And I actually think that you played your hand there,
because I was well aware of people voting
for me and then disappearing.
I was just waiting to see who would maybe bring that up first.
With you bringing that to the table...
..you're trying to look like you're a Faithful
looking out for everyone else.
Yeah, of course.
I'm pointing out something that I think is pertinent
to the heat that's been fired your way.
OK, so how much heat do I need
to continue to go under to prove that I'm a Faithful?
Well, we can't... We'll never be able to prove that
until you stand up there and tell us, either way. OK,
but continuously, there are people around this table
who haven't received heat, who haven't been under scrutiny.
And this is not me deflecting.
I'm just saying I'm frankly getting sick of this conversation.
And I think actually, you're holding on to very little
and trying to get me banished.
Can I pick out just a couple of things from today?
Yeah, go for it, yeah.
It's not as if I'm ambushing you, is it?
I've been on you from the start.
The fact you put my name as best...
The best Traitor, yeah. ..Traitor, yeah, yeah.
I'd be dreadful. Come on.
That's what a Traitor would say.
I think my rationale is pretty...
And it was just the way you said it. ..clear.
You know, if I've got this wrong with you,
I'm eternally sorry, man. Yeah. Yeah.
When you said it, it almost felt like -
cos I'm a paranoid Faithful -
"this guy is trying to just get a bit more heat".
I think this is called confirmation bias.
Yeah, maybe. The reason why I said you
was because you have deceived people.
So that's a Traitor-y thing.
And I genuinely thought that... You say deceive. I...
Yeah. Well... Lying to people is deception, James.
I didn't lie.
You didn't tell the truth
about taking a Shield
when you had an opportunity to do so from Jessie.
That is a lie and that is deception.
I didn't have the chance.
You did have the chance. We were never alone.
Jessie was stood there, shouting... You two were in the room,
in the hallway and taking our boots off. No, James, no.
I'm not that stupid. When it all came out, we were stood in a row.
Yeah. I'm not going to tell you then. It all came out...
That would defeat the object.
I wouldn't be protecting my team then, would I?
OK. OK. Yeah.
At this stage, you're not on the top of my list.
But you two have voted identically every night
for the past seven nights,
and I find that worrying.
You two obviously are like two peas in a pod.
You trust each other.
And my concern was,
if one of you is a Traitor
and you're now just stuck together,
then that's dangerous for the rest of us, as Faithfuls.
I find this one really challenging,
because I think as Faithfuls,
we do need to collectively come together.
Mm. Because we are slowly
but surely getting outnumbered by the Traitors.
I realise I could do with taking my emotions out
of things a little bit
and looking at those closest to me...
..which brings me to you, Stephen.
Yeah, we had a conversation.
I don't think you're a Traitor.
I think your answers were honest, clear.
And I'm really glad that I've been able to clear that up...
Thank you. ..because that's what I wanted to do,
was not accuse, but clear that up in my own mind.
Right.
So, I'll say where my head's at.
Here we go.
So, I told a white lie this morning.
So, I obviously said,
"I think I have a strong suspicion who it is."
And I wasn't certain who it was.
But I was trying to flush somebody out
and watch behaviour and watch whose behaviour changed.
And I'm sorry, Ellie,
but it's pointing to you for a couple of reasons.
The reason being this morning we were playing the sports.
Then you came down and I thought,
"Right, well, hang on a little second.
"Surely if I've put it out there that I have a very strong suspicion,
"a Traitor would want to stay close to me just to hear what I'm saying."
And then I thought, out of everybody else left,
you were acting the most suspicious towards me.
And then I said to myself,
"I'm not going to start speaking first tonight.
"I'm going to see who's first out of the starting gates,
"just to see who's very, very adamant."
And it happened to be you.
So that's just helped me paint a bit of a picture.
Walking in today and finding out that Jessie was murdered...
..it was actually quite hard.
Oh, don't cry. Don't cry.
TEARFULLY: Oh, I didn't want to cry.
You're actually the person I probably feel second closest to
after Jessie and I just wanted to spend time...
Awk, Ellie.
You don't know who to trust.
You want to hang out with people.
I just come in here and I was like,
"I'm going to talk to Jessie tomorrow."
And she's gone.
And I think that's why I was trying to hang out with you.
I'm sorry. That's it.
That's it. OK.
I think, just to jump on that point,
and just asking yourself, Ellie,
when you've sort of voiced your concerns towards Jade today,
you said that you felt she's being quite defensive.
And Rachel can attest to this,
cos she was in the kitchen earlier on.
When I said that I had suspicions of you,
I did feel like you got quite defensive. Yeah, I did.
I snapped at you and I'm sorry.
Yeah. No, no, it's fine. You can do it.
I'm not arsed, truth.
But the main thing for me was just you sort of dismissing what I said
and then you said the exact same thing to Jade.
No, and Jade, I am worried that I've got it wrong.
Of course I'm worried. You have got it wrong, but OK.
I don't want to vote out a Faithful.
I don't want to accuse you falsely.
But I'm just trying to go with what I've got,
and that's all I've got at the moment.
Shall I tell you why I think you're a Traitor?
Go ahead.
We met quite early on, and I found you quite guarded.
That's immediately after the Round Table.
And then you've warmed up over time.
And I was basically watching your votes today,
and the one that you voted for yourself for,
that was very telling.
No, I think... I thought that's the perfect ploy...
..for a Traitor to do that.
Really appreciate how you're trying to spin that.
All I'm saying is what I think.
In regards to my guardedness,
yes, I was guarded day one and day two.
That's just who I am in front of a new group of 22 people.
I think that's completely reasonable.
And I'm not going to get emotional.
Um...
JADE CHUCKLES
For...
JADE SIGHS
So of course I'd be guarded,
because now I'm in a situation where...
JADE SNIFFS
I don't know why I'm crying.
This is actually ridiculous.
WHISPERING:
I've never seen someone go through so many Round Tables
and had to put up with as much as I have,
and I'm frankly so sick of it.
I do think you're just spinning things
that aren't there. Personally... I also felt like
Ellie thinks you're a Traitor,
you fire back at Ellie.
Now I think it and it's me.
So... Are you saying that I'm not allowed to sit here
and defend myself, then?
Yeah, but, I mean, James has been firing accusations
at me being a Traitor the whole time,
and I'm not then firing back at James, because...
I'm not firing back.
Can I just say, like, I hate to see you crying.
Like, unfortunately, I can't allow your emotions to prevent me...
That's fine. That's fine. ..from saying my bit, you know?
Do what you need to do.
I just think you're spinning this in such an incredible way.
And you know what? I'm...
JACK GROANS
I've got nothing left to say about this.
Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm not spinning it.
The time for talk is now over.
Please write down the person you believe is a Traitor.
Faraaz, we will start with you.
Who do you believe is a Traitor and why?
So, I came to this Round Table today with two names on my mind.
But I've gone with you today, Ellie.
And I think just the hypocrisy of
what you said earlier to Jade,
that you said to me.
I think that sort of just solidified it for me.
Roxy?
Sorry, James. I'm sticking to my guns.
And if I'm wrong,
I will give my head a big shake after all of this.
Stephen?
Like Faraaz, I came into this with two names today.
Ellie, it was between yourself
and Matt for me, just after today's mission,
and I felt like Matt was a bit more compelling at the table,
so I'm really sorry, I've put your name down.
Ellie?
Jade, your name's on the slate.
I have suspicions of you I just can't shake.
Jack?
Matt, I've stuck with my guns from yesterday.
It's all right.
James?
Matthew, I'm voting for you, mate.
I truly believe you're the Traitor.
And I'm eternally sorry if I'm wrong.
You are, but that's fine.
Matthew?
Jade, I came in with your name
and I am someone who sticks to what they say they're going to do.
So, a vote count.
Two for Ellie...
..two for Jade...
..two for Matthew...
..and one for James.
Two votes remain.
Rachel, who do you believe is a Traitor and why?
Ellie, I voted for you.
There's just a few things not adding up for me.
So it all comes down to this.
For the final vote, Jade?
Ellie, I've gone with yourself.
I'm sorry.
Ellie, you have received the most votes.
Please come up here and join me.
It's not her.
It's not her.
Ellie, you have received the most votes.
You are banished from the castle.
Please can you reveal,
are you Faithful or are you a Traitor?
I have had the best time.
Thank you so much to all of you
and I hope I can see you all when this is all done.
I do have a confession I'd like to make before I go.
ELLIE CHUCKLES
I didn't come in here alone.
I actually came in with my boyfriend.
Ross.
GASPING
LAUGHTER
Whoa! Whoa!
Get out of town.
LAUGHTER
But don't worry.
I was honest about what's important.
I am...
..a Faithful. Oh, no.
No, no. No, no, no, no.
I knew it.
Blindingly obvious, again.
Two nights in a row.
So, Faithful, a disappointing result.
Again, you have lost one of your own.
But there is a glimmer of hope
because tonight there is no murder.
JACK: Yes! STEPHEN: Yes. Oh, my God.
JAMES: Oh, my goodness me. FARAAZ: Thank God for that.
MATT: Thank God for that.
Bloody hell. Oh.
THEY CHUCKLE
And I'll tell you something else.
This is getting hard
and that was an emotional Round Table,
so - I really mean this - you deserve something lovely.
I am throwing a dinner party for you all...
Thank you, Claudia.
JAMES CHUCKLES
..where you cannot think about the game.
You can have some cheese.
There's a lot of cheese.
JADE CHUCKLES
Delightful. Go and get ready and enjoy your dinner.
Goodnight.
ROXY: You're all right. You handled yourself so well again.
FARAAZ: Ross? Oh, my God.
I knew there was a connection.
JAMES: I'm sorry. I'm going to say it now.
You were played.
ROXY: I think you've done amazing, Jade.
Hold your head strong.
You should have trusted me, man.
Sorry, mate. That was our chance.
I am shocked that
I didn't get a single vote at the Round Table tonight.
After murdering Jessie last night,
I thought that that was my game over.
You held yourself together very, very well.
All right?
Can I have a hug or...?
MATT CHUCKLES
WHISPERING TEARFULLY: Just need five minutes.
JADE SNIFFS, BREATHES SHAKILY
It's all right. It's very hard. It's all right.
It is hard, yeah. It's very emotional.
RACHEL SIGHS
# Every step that I take is another mistake to you... #
JADE SIGHS JADE SNIFFS
We got another Faithful out,
which is really frustrating.
Um, and...
..it just...
JADE SIGHS
..gets to a point...
..where you just crack.
I am amazed that I'm still here.
If anything, it reminds me
that I'm incredibly resilient,
even though I cry.
JADE LAUGHS
And I am hoping that this dinner party
will give everyone the boost
that they need. I definitely need it. So we'll see.
# I've become so numb... #
BAGPIPES PLAY
With emotions running high and no murder on the menu tonight,
I'm treating the players to a dinner party.
What they don't know is that dessert
comes with a sting in its tail.
GASPING
Ooh. Wow!
Hey, this ain't no Round Table.
JADE: It's so pretty. Oh, this is so amazing. Wow.
Wow.
That is stunning.
Claudia wasn't kidding when she said about the cheeses. Wow.
It's just us.
Oh, my God. What? This is...
The final eight. No game chat, just Ellie-Ross chat.
Whoa! Gossip. Oh!
LAUGHTER
What was that all about?
I can't believe it. That was mad, wasn't it?
Do you think they ever had, like, a moment on their own
where they could just be...?
Were they on the train together? They were together on the train.
Yeah, yeah. How nice is it that we can all just
sit here... Just relax.
Yeah. ..and just eat and chat and have a break from the game.
And also just celebrate each other and how far we've got,
because I feel like we've all done such a good job.
I do think, like, every person that came in here from the beginning
just added such a unique spin on everything. Yeah.
It just shows you.
There's 22 people, all from different walks of life,
and we never would have bumped into each other
in the outside world and... Yeah.
..how well we've all got on and all our differences... Yeah. I know.
..bringing us together.
I think it's amazing to see. It's so nice. Yeah.
It's really nice.
Just out of interest, if you all don't mind sharing,
if you were to win the money,
what would you spend it on?
Oh, good one.
I think for me, being Muslim...
Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam.
..completing that pilgrimage in Saudi, going to Mecca.
And if I was to win the money,
I'd love to be able to treat the family and all of us go as one.
Without them, I wouldn't be anything,
so, yeah, I'd just really want to treat them.
And then if there's any left over,
I wouldn't mind another motor
as well, just throw the boat in.
LAUGHTER
But, yeah, that's what I'd be doing.
The last three or four years,
it's been a real kind of transformation in my life.
My girlfriend and I obviously, as most people in the UK,
struggle to get on the property ladder,
so it'd be nice to, you know, contribute towards the deposit.
I want to be putting a ring on it in a few months' time.
GASPING
Aw. Hey.
Yeah, I've got a secret plan.
The ring's already sorted, so it's a massive surprise.
Yeah. He's a good egg, isn't he? Smooth operator.
Yeah. So is this your engagement party?
Yes. Yeah. Yeah, go on, then.
Oh, yeah. Nice.
Yeah.
I'm quite happy where I am in life.
I'm not rich, I'm not poor. I'm just happy.
What I've learned about myself is how much I bloody love my family.
It really does. Aw, that's adorable.
But in my house,
there's seven of us.
I need to get my eldest stepdaughter a car,
and it would be nice to get her something that doesn't, you know,
doesn't just conk out. That's nice.
Yeah, we really need a holiday, our family, as well.
We haven't been abroad for some time.
Yeah. That would be amazing.
I think I would really like to buy my own home.
My parents got divorced when I was seven.
My mum moved back to Hong Kong.
She had a kid and then...
..in 20...
In 2018...
..they were both found dead.
I'm so sorry, Jade.
No, it's fine, I am fine.
It's been an emotional day. It's been an emotional day. Yeah.
I've had to really rebuild myself from that point onwards.
JADE SNIFFS
So I'm really proud of myself
for getting here
and getting this far.
Yeah. So you should be. You're inspirational.
Um... Incredibly brave. Yeah. Yeah.
But I'd actually just really like my own home.
Yeah. That's just it. Somewhere I can call my own.
Yeah. Yeah. For sure.
JADE VOICEOVER: In 2018, I lost my mum.
I was always very close with her,
so it was a shock to the system.
You know, our parents form a big core of our own identity,
so I had to rebuild myself.
It has affected me a lot.
It takes me a really long time to let people in,
just because it does take me a minute to get comfortable.
And I think that can come off as a bit standoffish at first.
Jade, to be honest, just how anxious you seemed
from the first Round Table, and to see how you've grown
in confidence to really stick up for yourself this whole time...
Sorry, I'm going to start crying.
STEPHEN LAUGHS
No, don't. But I genuinely...
I think you're one of the people that I'm most proud of in here,
and you've just done such an incredible job.
Yeah, I really appreciate that.
It's taken a long time to get to that.
So thank you. Yeah. Well done you.
And I'm sorry as well
for making you cry.
THEY CHUCKLE
Whatever.
LAUGHTER
RACHEL VOICEOVER: Oh, my God.
As a Traitor, sitting at that table
listening to people pour their heart out,
it's so hard to try and make your next decision,
knowing what people have come through.
But I needed to remind myself
that my kids and my family are the reason why I'm here.
So, my partner, Jason and I,
we got engaged on Luskentyre Beach on the Isle of Harris
during Covid, and...
I don't know. For various reasons, it wasn't a priority.
And the more I think about it,
I think a wedding is just such a beautiful opportunity
to bring two worlds together.
Yeah, we've been waiting a while. Yeah.
STEPHEN: So, I think for me,
I'm from a very rural community
and for the longest time
kind of hated myself, actually.
Like, I was... I lost my teenage years...
..going to church, trying to pray myself normal, you know.
And for the longest time, I just have had,
like, I've just really not liked who I am.
And growing up, we had very little financially.
But as kids, my brother and I would never have known that.
You know, my parents gave absolutely everything they had
to make sure that we just had the most incredible childhood.
It's not until you get older you start to realise
the sacrifices that they make for you
when you were younger, you know?
But, yeah, I just hope that I've done the people that know me
outside of here proud. And... You have.
I would be really chuffed to be able to kind of give them back
and kind of repay the favour, if possible.
Yeah. Love yourself. You're amazing. Oh, thank you very much.
Thank you. How could you not like yourself? You're an absolute legend.
Thanks. Give me a hug.
CHUCKLING
Hearing Stephen talk about his childhood -
coming from a rural community, religious, gay -
you know, there's a lot that we share.
And so, I think when you've gone through a similar experience, then
you have to do less work to understand each other.
And in this environment, that's really comforting.
On you go, Rachel. Um...
I would like to do something for my mummy...
..who has been very ill for a long time.
She was diagnosed with Parkinson's when she was only 47.
And I've watched her my whole adult life
just put her whole life on hold for other people.
And she was diagnosed with dementia recently.
And all she wants to do is go on a holiday.
And I think if I were to win the money,
it would be to take her and my kids on a holiday
and make memories while she still has her memories.
Mm. That's lovely, yeah.
That's lovely. Beautiful.
Any time I kind of have a wobble,
I just think of my three beautiful kids' faces
and my mum and obviously my husband.
I think life is so short and so precious.
So, yeah, I really, really want it for my mum, because...
..she did everything for us.
And, yeah, I think now it's her time for us to look after her.
JADE: Um, yeah, so...
I'm not going to go too much into it, but...
..I was adopted when I was six.
Yeah, it's a tiny thing.
ROXY CHUCKLES
I was told and believed for a long time
that I would never amount to anything.
That phrase still resonates quite deeply.
And when I was adopted, I was adopted by the most fantastic,
wonderful woman who has shaped who I am
and put her life on hold to get me to where I am now.
So I would love to do something so special to thank her,
because, yeah, she's an absolute icon
and I'm just doing it for the little girl that thought
that she could never do anything.
Look at you now. Think how far you've come. Yeah.
I think she would be happy.
Well, cheers to that. Cheers to everyone.
Cheers, everyone. Lovely, lovely people. Personal growth.
ALL: Personal growth. Cheers. Cheers, guys.
Cheers, everyone. Legend. Cheers. Cheers.
KNOCKING ON DOOR
ALL GROAN
Oh, no. Stop it.
Oh, stop. Stop!
Hello.
Never get any peace in this castle. Please, good news.
Oh, God.
I'm going to be honest,
none of you look very happy to see me.
I'm not, to be honest. No.
Are you having a lovely dinner?
SEVERAL: We were. We are.
You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.
You are the last eight.
Now, as you know,
the Traitors aren't murdering tonight.
But they will still be busy.
This is the ceremonial dagger.
Oh, God.
Whoever possesses this dagger,
they have an extraordinary ability.
Whoever has this gets a double vote at the next Round Table.
The only catch is -
it's up to the Traitors who has it.
They can choose anyone.
They can choose themselves.
You understand? Yeah.
It is too precious for me to leave it in here.
And the Traitors will need it later.
If you can - I'm really sorry about that -
please do continue to enjoy your supper.
I'm going to go and chop some cheese with it.
What? Double vote.
Double vote. Double vote.
That's an absolute spanner in the works.
That's awful. To whatever happens. THEY AGREE
We're the final eight. Final eight.
Incredible. Everyone, be very proud of yourselves.
# I'm only good at being bad... #
CLOCK CHIMES
Right. Goodnight. I'll see yous all tomorrow.
Take care, mate.
CHIMING CONTINUES
At least we know everyone's coming back tomorrow.
You take care. See you later, guys. Night-night. See ya. See ya.
I didn't get any votes at the Round Table tonight.
So, as of right now, I'm safe.
But if we get this decision wrong and we give it to the wrong person
and they use those double votes against me or Stephen,
we could be out the door.
Right. I'm off. Are you going to head? Yeah, yeah.
OK. See you later. Goodnight, my darling.
Goodnight. Well done. See you tomorrow.
Goodnight to you. I shall see you tomorrow.
I'll see you tomorrow. Sleep well.
# I'm the bad guy... #
I am extremely anxious.
This dagger has the potential
to either catapult myself and Rachel into the endgame,
or could spell the banishment of one or both of us.
That is how big this decision is.
If we do not get this right, it's game over.
# I'm only good at being bad. #
This is different.
I did not expect this one.
All of these people are deserving... Mm-hm. ..of being here.
You know? I'm really,
really trying hard not to let that sway my strategy.
Every decision we make from this moment on...
It has to be about the end. ..it has to be about the endgame.
So this ceremonial dagger grants whichever player
a double vote at the next Round Table.
This is something that can give the Faithfuls a real power.
But I think, if the power goes to their head,
that's what we need right now.
I agree.
The benefit of one of us getting the dagger,
it protects both of us for one night.
If we went into that Round Table with the same vote,
that's three votes against one person. Mm-hm.
And that is currently enough to get anyone out of this game.
# Seven devils all around me
# Seven devils in my house... #
I think we've made the right decision.
Let's do it. Yeah.
# And I'll be dead before the day is done. #
