But we took that risk

By joining their partial maps,

a little bit to repurpose

I swear she's just doing it
to annoy the [bleep] out of me,

and I am annoyed.

I'm gonna make a net and catch
these freshwater shrimp.

Shrimp love coconut.

By hanging the coconut from
the center, my hope is that

the shrimp will be forced
to come inside.

With Dani, it's been
tough, I'm not gonna lie.

She's a legend,
but also her survival

tactics are very different
than mine.

The vegetarian is going to
catch us shrimp.

Should I put it
right where the sticks are?

The vegan is trying to
catch the freshwater shrimp,

but it doesn't make
any sense whatsoever.

with Jarrell, I feel tension.

Everything I try to do

So my hope is, by catching
shrimp, that everyone is happy

today, and we can work
as a team, and everything will

A nice passive way to

Being in the middle
of my teammates

leaves me in a bit of
a hard situation.

It's difficult.

But right now, I'm just
cracking on with work.

So, I'm just getting
these straight--

straight trees here for
an arapuca trap.

A primitive arapuca trap is
made of sticks,

stacked and tied into
a pyramid-shaped cage,

which is then propped up
and baited.

When a small animal or bird
disturbs the bait, it triggers

the stick, causing the cage to
fall and trap the prey.

I'm hoping to trap
anything that will fit in it,

a bird, a lizard.

where aggressive tiger sharks

ambush their prey from below

up to 20 miles per hour.

because all I see is

the black of the depths.

these waters are infested
with stingrays.

As coastal temperatures rise
in the spring, stingrays become

more active and migrate
near shore,

where the shallow waters

provide an ideal environment
to mate and reproduce.

There's danger under
every foot, literally.

Stingrays are masters of
camouflage, which just means

we've got to be extra careful.

To avoid detection from
predators, stingrays bury

themselves in the sand,
where one lightning-fast strike

from their tail sends
a razor-sharp venomous barb

into anything it perceives
as a threat.

Every single step out here is
a calculated risk.

But when you're
the legend slayer...

you fear nothing.

Gotta get this done.

These waters, you have
to walk very carefully.

So many things that can
hurt you and kill you.

And right now these waters are
infested with stingrays.

The wind's picking up

When the wind disturbs
the water like this,

it's the most dangerous.

It's hard to tell
where they could be

and where they're not.

So, I have to be real careful
not to move too quickly

and get stung by a stingray

There's some sheet metal

The fire warms up the metal.

It'll warm me up.

I made a little fire hole so
I can just always keep my eye

I think the mosquitoes will
