Then everything went to hell.

So, when the cops came,
Cahill slipped out and called to warn you.

He made two calls.

One to me and one to Foster,

the CIA officer
who ran Operation Mongoose.

I know Foster. I ripped his ear off.

Calling Foster makes sense,

'cause Cahill wanted whatever was on
that drive to never see the light of day,

and Cahill figured that the CIA gave them
the best chance of doing that quietly.

But why call you?

Like you said,
you were just an assistant.

what we learned in the jungle,

and Cahill knew that.
