Police come from all states of Australia
just to watch the pageant as an exercise

in crowd control.

streets, and not one barricade.

Just a blue honour line that runs on
either side of the pageant roof.

It was a huge kerfuffle. All the bigwigs
came down and got him out quick, bloody

pull a stunt like that.

He wouldn't have thought it a fair
comparison.

When we were kids, we had to go all the
way from Northfield to Amelie, even

though there was a fish shop just around
the corner.

He could be very particular about some
things, Clifford.
