We're at police headquarters, where the
suspension of Officer Ned Wilson, who's

been a member of the department for over
15 years, has created a controversy.

With me here is Sergeant Al Benedict of
the Patrolman's Benevolent Association.

Sergeant, what do you think of the
alleged murder that Officer Wilson is

involved in? Murder?

The protester came after him with a

Wilson got a raw deal with self-defense.

circumstances.

reflexes. It sounds like a
maximum-strength robot.

But they usually get the job done.

And that's what's bothering me.

If this robot was programmed to kill,
there's no way that Nicholson could have

defended himself.

Then Quaid didn't want Nicholson killed,
only incapacitated.

You think they might have wanted to
replace him with a robot?

The case has taken a bizarre turn.

What is not known, however, is whether
the alleged attack on Nicholson is in

any way connected with the disposition
of the Wilson suspension.

This is one time when the security unit
seems to be making more headlines than

the celebrated men and women it has
assigned to protect.

similarly alive.

devil under those lights.

a fix on the signal if they stay on the
air long enough.

They'll be homing in on the
transmission.

Marcus. So the governor actually died
and Quaid replaced him. Right.

And if Quaid's robot governor would have
won that election, Quaid not only would

have had control of the state, but a
good chance of reaching the White House

as well.

Well, it's true. Politics makes strange
