is a little bit of a
different video for me.

If you guys know my
channel and everything, I do

videos, you know, on
DVDs, Blu-rays, everything

movie related, but I've had some things in
my life and things that have haunted me for

a very, very long time, quite a number of
years now and I want to say I'm so thankful

for this, to find this
website too, the Amityville

Exorcist and you
know, be able to tell my

story because that's basically
why I'm doing this video.

Of course I'm putting
it online for you guys

to see, but this is
really for the Amityville

Exorcist so he can
know, you know, and they

can know, you know,
what's going on in my life

and what I've been going
through for a really long time.

It's been about like,
I think over 10 years

this is something that
I've been going through

and it's incredibly
strange, incredibly scary.

It's one of those kind
of things that I really

don't know why it's
happening to me and why

it keeps affecting me because
I'm absolutely miserable about this.

This is something, like
I said, I am so incredibly

tired of it and some
of you guys who will

watch this video, you know, who are on my
channel are going to look at this and think

that I'm totally crazy, that I've cracked
up, that maybe the movies have gotten to my

mind and made me go ballistically
nuts, but no, I'm not ballistically nuts.

I'm not crazy, I'm absolutely
sane, so don't say that please.

But basically though,
what happened though

was about 10 years ago
I was going on a cross

country road trip when I was moving from,
you know, from Towson, Maryland all the way

out to San Diego and
going cross country though,

I ended up, you know,
basically, you know,

it was one of those
kind of things where we

really wanted to see
a lot of the cool spots

so it was like, oh
yeah, we got to stop at

this tourist destination,
oh, we got to make

sure we stop at this
cavern and see the cavern

rocks and oh yeah,
this is where this thing

happened here and
oh, this was the location

of this and, you know,
all those kind of real

tourist kind of things
that everyone likes to

do, you know, like
this stupid kind of stuff.

It's just kind of fun.

You do it, one of those
things where you're like, oh

yeah, you know, I'm going
to drive through this area.

I'm probably never going to be through
this area again so why the hell not?

Why don't I just look at this stuff?

Why don't I just see the things?

And that's pretty much
what it was so we were

going and stopping
at all the strange tourist

traps and everything
and, you know, and then

we were going through
the Route 66 area.

We saw those things where it was like, you
know, stay in a teepee, stay in a wigwam,

so it's basically like
you can stay it for

your hotel and it's like
shaped like a teepee

wigwam and it's kind
of a cool, like kind of,

it's one of those
things where it's, you're

just doing it as a weird
thing like, oh yeah,

I'm staying in this Route
66 tourist trap kind of thing.

But there were some things, you know, the
whole thing though started off really weird

like we got there, we
got the key to our room

and I go to open up
the door and there's an

old woman in the room
like in her underpants.

So it was like an
awkward thing, started off

really wrong that we
had to go and get the

woman and get another room real last
minute and she was getting ready to leave.

She was basically getting ready,
getting in her car to lock up and go.

So it was kind of like we just about missed
her and we would have to slept in the car.

It would have probably
been better to have

done that anyway because
of what had happened.

But basically though,
we finally got the room

and the room was like
when we got in there,

it was real small, there
was two beds in there,

there was just something
weird and it was

like this weird vibe in
there, very like dingy

and dark and bad
lighting and just creepy.

And I remember like
just like I said having

this weird feeling about
the whole thing and

then at night, I remember
when I went and took

a shower, I heard like
coming from outside

of the shower like this
weird singing that was

like and then I remember
the same thing at night.

When I was sleeping, I
was hearing, you know,

in the room, you
know, like it was almost

like someone was sitting
up in the bed sleeping,

you know, singing and
it was freaking me out

and there was all sorts
of weird things going

on in the room like
the air conditioner was

freezing so we'd go
and I adjusted and I was

like this is so cold in here, I put
it so, you know, it wasn't so cold.

And then maybe a little while
later, it was freezing in there again.

So obviously, whatever the entity it was in
there was messing with the temperature, it

was obviously a very
mean, shitty spirit that

was in there really
fucking with me big time.

And let me tell you, I have
had after that when I left,

you know, the thing that was
in that room, it came with me.

Whatever the hell this
thing was, this spirit

that likes to fuck with
me caused me all these

kind of problems,
caused me all these kind

of grief, caused me
all these kind of issues,

came home with me,
got to my house and I

immediately start having
all sorts of problems.

I'm having all that
stuff, you know, where

it's like that sleep
paralysis where you feel

like someone's like standing on you and you
can't move and you're like, it's like this

real awkwardness
and you almost feel like

someone's talking about
you and you hear like

whispering and mumbles
like and it's all that

kind of stuff and you're
hearing all kinds of weird things.

The amount of times that I
have had sleep paralysis like that,

like this terrifying sleep
paralysis is insane and it is awful.

I mean, and the whole thing too, I
have had all sorts of things in the house.

I've heard all sorts of noises,
I have seen weird things.

Like I said, I am not cracking up guys.

There I am in absolutely
no way cracking up here.

This is what happened to me.

I went to a weird tourist
trap destination and

whatever the hell was
in there, this belligerent

spirit ghost came home
with me and it's making

my life an absolute miserable
mess, an absolute nightmare.

I'm in a living nightmare.

I cannot sleep.

I don't think I've had more than a couple
of hours of sleep in months and months.

It just continuously
goes on and on and on,

but there's, you know,
it also likes to fuck

with me where, oh,
there's some times where I

have nothing happened
for a period of weeks.

Goes on and on, you know, fine.

Nothing's happening.

No problems.

I don't see anything.

I don't hear anything.

Here it comes again.

The spirit's back again.

Fuck with me again.

Standing on top of me.

Can't breathe.

All that kind of bullshit.

Can't move.

All that.

Continuous.

And it's getting worse and worse and worse.

That's why I'm telling you the Amityville
exorcist, my story, I want to know what you

think I should do
because like I said, the

nights are getting worse and worse
and worse and worse and worse.

And this spirit probably
is going to fuck with

me even worse now
because I'm telling my story.

So I'm now probably
in really, really deep shit.

But anyway, I appreciate you watching this

thinking that I am absolutely insane.

I should probably start off
that my name is Father O'Breen.

I grew up in Amityville, a village in the
town of Babylon, Suffolk County, New York.

It was a, it was an
idyllic spot, it was close

enough to the hustle
and bustle of a big city,

but it was out way enough, you
know, to have peace and quiet.

It was, it was the perfect
place to grow up as a kid.

And you know, me and my friends, we
used to do anything for fun back then.

You know, when we were
teenagers, I remember

we used to go to
graveyards and summon the

dead, you know, just anything
to kill the boredom as a kid.

I remember one day
one of my friends, he got

an axe while we were
in the graveyard and

he chopped down this stone statue,
it was like a gargoyle or a demon.

We all thought it was a
great laugh, you know,

and he took it back
home with him that day

as kind of like a trophy
and he used to proudly

display it in his room, you
know, right next to his bed.

But yeah, I remember
not long after my friends,

who, I can't even
mention his name anymore,

it's too painful, but
after that day when he

chopped down the
gargoyle statue, the demon

statue, he was never
the same, he was, there

was just something
about him, he became very

distant from the rest
of us, more isolated and

just overall weird,
erratic in his behavior.

It was sad to see,
he kind of just kept to

himself and disappeared
in a lot of ways from

society and it wasn't
just that, like years

later he died under very
bizarre circumstances

and not only him, but every single member
of his family who all lived in Ampteville

together, every single one of them died in
a horrific, bizarre way, you know, a lot of

unexplained circumstances
about what happened there.

I remember then at one
point my mother somehow

got hold of this gargoyle
statue and she became

a bit unhinged and
her family kind of fell

apart, I don't know how
she came into contact

with it, but I knew something was not right
because I knew that was in my friends room,

that was the same statue
that he chopped down

and later on I became
estranged from my parents

and I, you know, I went
into the priesthoods,

I had to get away
from Ampteville so I left

at a very young age and, you know, I heard
that my mother would go to the local church

and hold up this
gargoyle statue right under

the steeple and, you
know, cause a big scene,

her behaviour, her mind, whatever happened
she just wasn't the same person anymore and

I remember hearing that she was found dead,
that she had drowned in the local river in

Ampteville and, you
know, her body was found

at the stream there
and it was very unlikely

because of, you know, my mother Claire, she
was a track swimmer, you know, the best in

Ampteville for five
years in a row, you know,

she was a really strong
swimmer and when they

found her body there
was strange markings,

like, you know, ligature
marks and just almost

like burnt, you know, flesh, like embedded,
like certain symbols and shapes as if she

was being pulled into the water and dragged
down by some sort of creature who, I don't

know, nobody can
explain it but I had a feeling

I knew what was going
on and I had to deal

with Ampteville so that was a lot to deal
with so, you know, after leaving Ampteville

I obviously, I took to religion, I called
to God for protection and, you know, I put

all my faith and trust into Him and there's
been much research that I've done myself on

Ampteville and the evil that resides in it
which I very well believe in, I feel like

I know exactly who this
demon is but we never

say his name, we never
say the name of the

demon but it's evil
lurks in Ampteville and

it will attach itself to
anybody and use their

body as a vessel for
evil, they will, anybody

that this demon
comes in contact with, it

devours them as a person, it devours their
soul, it just curses them, it devours all

the goods with anything
and everyone, it comes

in contact with it, this
demon chooses wisely,

it preys on the weak and it will take full
advantage knowing that so people can become

crumbled and ripped
apart by this demon, you

know, their whole core of a
person comes corrupted by evil.

how to start this.

I moved into this place recently
and it was one bedroom flat.

It was always right in daytime.

Nothing ever happened in
daytime. It was an interest in daytime.

It was always when
you know, lying there.

It all feels kind of normal and then you
slip into dreams. I always try to explain

See, this is one night and
this one night I was lying

there and what felt like... I'd read about
this Finkel sleeper Alice's and just kept

hearing this voice and not heard this voice
before and it just felt familiar but not in

a good way. Not in
something you want to hear.

Something that's like
creeping in and it's

always there in those nasty, nasty times.
And then yeah, you just get shook a couple

of times, move around and then you wake
up. So it's a dream, right? Don't matter.

None of it matters.
Why would it matter?

It's a fucking dream. But
then it happens every night

and you stop feeling
safe and you try to catch

it. You want to catch
that thing that's moving

you around and on
you and you catch it.

It's this huge thing. It
grabs its arms around

me, stretched them
around and then just rocked

me, rocked me back and
forth. And I knew I was awake.

I knew it was awake. I knew it was
right there and it whispered things to

me. Trying to make me
feel safe, make me feel

secure, make me feel
like I needed this thing

to be there for me.
And like I said, nothing

happened daytime. As soon
as nighttime hit, you'd feel it.

You'd see the shadows and your
skin would start crawling and you'd just

know it's close by.
But then its arms would

come around you and
you'd feel safe and it's

always made me feel,
it wants me to feel safe.

I know I'm not safe
and that's why I had to

talk to you and I'm
not a religious person.

This is the last place
I want to be talking.

I do not want to be
talking to a priest about

this kind of stuff. I
went to a therapist

and they wouldn't
sleep paralysis.

That's what it is, sleep
paralysis. But it's happening

more and more and every night and I feel
it and I see it and I constantly see it.

And I don't even know
what the daytime is.

I don't remember the daytime
anymore. So I don't even

know if I'm awake during the day or if it's
all just a nightmare on a constant basis.

So I had to turn to you. I had to turn to
religion. I had to turn to thinking maybe

this is something a little bit demonic. And
the more I started looking to it, the more

the scars started
happening and the cuts and

the bruises and no longer wanting to put
its arms around me and make me feel safe.

Instead it's just hurting
me and every time that I

want to try and
stop it it's hurting me.

diary I guess of my experiences
with call it being haunted. I don't know.

Most people just think I'm
nuts. Schizophrenic or something.

I don't know. But my
therapist seems to think

that there's some benefit to talking about
it. Maybe it sounds good for me if it comes

out of my own mouth. But ever since I was
a little kid I've always been terrified of

the dark. As soon as
my parents would turn

off the light and I'd
go to bed I'd just know

something was there.
Just waiting for me.

I would get such a distinct
sense of a presence there.

I could get goosebumps even now. I
have a distinct memory one time of getting

up to use the bathroom and there was light
in the hallway but I had to turn it off and

it was just darkness in
my room and I remember

stepping in my room
closing the door behind

me and just having an
instant sensation that

something was trying to
get me. Something was there.

And so I raced to my bed and of
course I missed being a little kid at the

time and slammed
myself face first into my

toy box and gave myself a
black eye. So that was fun.

I remember laying in bed and just
looking up and seeing some sort of just a

dark figure. Just always just out of view.
Where there'd be just enough ambient light

where you could see the
blending of shadows and

just darkness and you
could see that there's

a figure there but just
on the edge of being

able to say 100%
there's something there.

All the time I'd find things had moved in
my room. I could hear things moving in the

night. Didn't have any pets in the room. My
parents were sound asleep. My brother was

asleep in his room. My mom will still tell
the story today about how she got up in the

morning and found
like a holy statue of a

saint or something
like that. Flipped upside

down and just wedged
between the shelf and

the wall in such a
way that it just it never

could have possibly fallen that way itself.
She even tried like putting it back there

multiple times and it wouldn't it wouldn't
stay that way. There's just no way it would

have fallen by itself.
Being able to post on

this website and tell
the Amityville exorcist,

story, maybe it will help I don't know.

I don't think I'm crazy. If
there's any way that anything

Every night before I go to bed I see a dark

figure of kind of a
shadow. It haunts me,

and stuff and I think my last purchase was
on big EVP machine I spent like 200 pounds

on but it would pick
up noises, it would pick

and they could feel
something and they refused
