This is the incredible G-bomb, the most awesome weapon ever conceived by man.

And this is Dr. Bruce Banner, eminent scientist and the bomb's creator, who some time ago,

in an effort to rescue Rick Jones from an experimental gamma ray blast,

was himself exposed to the bomb's mysterious rays.

And shortly thereafter, began to change into a monstrous being who became known

as the Incredible Hulk.

His terrifying appearance and sudden rages soon alienated him from the whole human race,

while Dr. Banner's strange habits and frequent disappearances raised questions

in high military circles.

What is this?

Now you see me, now you don't routine of yours anyway, Banner.

And why do you keep putting off the vital test of your new T-gun?

As the guns of the military continue to harass him, it's him.

Silently, Major Talbot drives the grieving and heartsick boy

back to the base, unaware that out of the murky shadows

of the underground cave, a phantom whirlwind forms.

Taking on substance, it becomes the Hulk.

back to challenge the whole human race once more.
