a frustrated General Thunderbolt Ross is angrily pacing the floor.

to quickly plummet to the stalled bus.

Later, in a nearby town.

The Hulk has disappeared, but it's believed

that Rick Jones, age 16, knows of his whereabouts,

although he refuses to talk.

In a hypnotized state, Rick is tied and carried

to a circus wagon.

And so the caravan leaves for the next town

with the ringmaster triumphantly exclaiming

that he has the key to a fortune.

Will the Hulk hear Rick's last cry?

And if so, what fate awaits them?

Slowly, the strange carnival procession heads

for its next destination, with the boy Rick Jones held captive

in one of the circus wagons, a foil

of the ringmaster's sinister scheme to capture the Hulk.

Meanwhile, back in his cave, the Hulk, having rested,

steps on the buttons that activate the awesome gamma ray

to turn himself into Dr. Bruce Banner, scientist.

Oh, I feel ill.

I better rest it while my head.

These changes take so much out of me.

Oh.

Meanwhile, the irascible General Ross is griping,

as usual, to his daughter, Betty.

I can't understand how that boy could have disappeared.

There's not a trace of him.

Oh, there's Bruce.

Perhaps he might know something about Rick's disappearance.

Hi, Bruce. You're just in time.

Maybe you can help Dad.

They can't locate Rick Jones anywhere.

He's nowhere to be found.

Then, as the ringmaster hypnotizes the remaining

inhabitants, his performers continue their looting.
