Precision is basically being very deliberate in your actions and making sure that everything

goes exactly where you want it.

Today, you must create a masterpiece.

Dot by dot.

First, you must stencil your design onto an eight foot by eight foot adhesive board.

Then, using colored dots the size of a hole punch, you must precisely place each one to create

an impressive work of art.

The holes are the same as eight foot by eight foot.

I don't know how anyone can finish this in time.

Win this challenge and your team will have the power

twist all of the human canvases in the elimination tattoo.

They have literally hundreds of thousands of different color hole punches to apply to this

huge adhesive board.

The shapes are very interesting.

They lead your eye on a ride.

And they do look very precise.

You guys also hit some nice shading.

The planet in the bottom right corner, the vortex in the back.

You are also able to show pretty perfect circles.

And then you have the free-flowing spiral galaxy going through the background.

Definitely hits precision.

Team Steve has a piece that has a shadow on both sides, which just is theoretically and physically

impossible.

But I guess their shapes are impossible, so their shading can be just as as their shape, I

guess.

Guys, there's definitely a lot of precision in this piece.

The segments from black to white in the floor, the lines in the bricks, really crisp, really

clean.

I also really appreciate the fact that you were able to put an organic human hand based out

of these hole punches into this piece to give it just another sense of dimension and an entirely

different look.

Good job, man.

Anthony's design is looking pretty creative.

I wonder if he went too simple.

Y'all do a great job getting color saturation on this.

As far as precision goes, you really keep it tight.

There doesn't seem to be hardly any areas where the wrong color is in the wrong spot.

Every shape, every triangle, every square is very definitive.

This thing is so mathematically precise that it was a nice touch to put an organic figure,

like a human being, in the center of this thing.

In this challenge, we're looking for precision.

Everything needs to be as smooth and seamless as possible.

The thing is with the mermaid is that it's not that it's hard.

It's just time consuming.

So motorcycle was the idea.

Yeah, like a drag racing motorcycle.

Say the pixelated doesn't fit very well with the motorcycle.

What other ideas did you have?

Oh, that was what I really wanted to get today.

Maybe kind of difficult for this.

And one of the things I think is cool about it is that

I mean, that's one thing you can use to denote the speed, because all the pixels flying off

the back.

I'm worried that there's a lot of details.

All right, the other thing I want is a woman riding the bike.

This is a design that I can crash and burn on.

We definitely had to go with some black and gray to make sure that we get a little detail.

Yeah, that's fine.

So you flexible on that part?

Yeah.

Just in case we don't have the time, we can have both stencils ready, work on the plane, finish

the plane, and we still have like three hours.

I don't want just the plane.

We have a very limited time to finish this, but no matter what I do, my canvas is definitely

not budging under the sun.

I think you're making the plane a little larger than what I wanted.

If you just have too much space between a bunch of blocks, it's hard to tell what it is.

And they still precision, too.

on my own since I was 16.

Today, Anthony's under the needle the whole time that we're tattooing, which means that I

get 100% control of this design.

So I got to make sure that this tattoo is super cool.

If I went home just because my canvas walked out, god, it would be devastating.

I grew up in the projects with a single mom, and we literally had nothing.

Ever since I was little, I was determined to be successful.

top of images is two totally different things.

This thing is challenged throughout.

You have these pixels in the background, but then you have the same exact tones in the pixels

in front of this thing, which is really making it kind of difficult to read and understand

why these pixels are there.

Precision day.

Pixels aside, the line work is busted.

Nothing solid, nothing smooth, nothing saturated.

this beat.

The image of the witch is very nice.

You did place these pixelated colors in the areas that they're supposed to be.

But you don't really have color blended feel.

It's not a transition of colors that's going to make this fire look smooth.

You lost it on the precision of that.

Rolling.

Precision here is something that you miss.

If the black was black, if every bit of it was colored perfect, it would have a different

impact in the way this thing looks as finished.

If you can't color 10 of these things solid, then don't give yourself 200.

It's not going to go in your favor.

From a distance, you look at this, and the pixels actually work as the way they're supposed

to work.

The problem with this tattoo is where you put your pixels, you put them in these square blocks

instead of letting them actually break up and be pixelated.

Your challenge right out of the gate, just not doing the most simplest thing.

A skull, realistic, black and gray.

Anybody that can't do that, just go start packing right now.

The line work in this thing is rough.

He had severe razor burn, and he was gushing blood.

If you look at the whole top of this outline of the computer, it is a bumpy ride.

This is a smooth tattoo.

Definitely you get the idea that this realistic image is turning into pixels and fading off

into nothing.

When a room has a rough day and somebody just puts out something clean and nice, it's like,

phew, word.

It's a good-looking tattoo.

The bird looks great.

You pull this richness off in that, and then everything that got the pixel treatment just

looks washed out.

All these light tones, they're just not solid.

They're not punched in.

They're not precise.

It's a beautiful tattoo.

It's a great illustration.

You have very crisp areas.

It's a very beautiful opening of a flower.

The lack of black outline on it looks unfinished.

As time goes on, this thing's not going to last.

It is very legible.

The biggest thing about this for me is color saturation.

All the red squares are not solid.

The areas of outline that you have, the butt up to the headdress, you can see all the wavering

lines.

This one's super challenged.

Anytime you have somebody walk, there's a reason for that.

I don't blame the guy for not wanting to get tattooed because he wanted something, and you

try to bait and switch him.

But I personally like this tattoo.

It definitely shows precision.

You probably have some of the nicest squares that are outlined.

Your shading is very nice and smooth.

It's a beautiful tattoo.

First thing I'll say about this tattoo is when you look at it from a distance, there's no

question.

to exactly what it is.

But your squares get a lot of wonky lines.

DJ's team pitched you a tough ball.

This is a hard one to hit.

The precision in the pixelation is very nice.

You really get a beautiful, delicate little face.

I feel like you really took your time and paid attention to every little bit of this tattoo

and concentrated on the precision part of the challenge.

When looking at your saturation of your squares, you're one of the strongest of the day.

But the head of the bird doesn't look like it goes with this body.

You've got these crazy big jowls of the neck that don't really fit the connection.

It's like misjointed.

All these crazy line patterns and stuff you're doing, that's cool.

But at some point, you're going to have to really show things that you can do that are outside

of this.
