You boys have been pressuring him to

We told him if he didn't show up for the
game, he'd be using his violin for

toothpicks. All he cares about is
playing his violin.

Well, that's important to him.

You boys shouldn't try to take that away
from him.

Yeah, but he could have been the
difference between our team winning and

losing, and that's important to us.

I don't know who Curtis is.

But I don't see anything wrong with
playing the violin. There is if you're

the best shortstop in the league.

Yeah, I know about shortstops. And I
know about winning and losing, too.

I admit I always felt better after
winning a ballgame than after losing.

But I think you guys are getting one
point here that's more important than

winning or losing. And that's the
respect for Curtis' decision to play the

violin instead of baseball.

Respect is what I'm talking about.
Respect for the other fellow off or on

the field.

That's what it's really all about.
