Anomalous aerial craft that put the
military on high alert.

Strange lights in the sky seemingly
stalking those who witnessed them. And

face-to-face encounters with something
utterly inhuman.

For generations, stories of UFOs and
extraterrestrial encounters have

captured the public's imagination.

Often dismissed as hoaxes.

or misidentified aircraft, these
accounts were rarely taken seriously.

But today, that's beginning to change.

While there are countless cases that
have reasonable earthly explanations,

there are outlier events that raise
legitimate questions about the

possibility that we are not alone in the
universe.

Are alleged alien close encounters
misunderstood phenomena?

Or do they point to something far more
extraordinary?

Well, that's what we'll try and find
out.

Police officer Lonnie Zamora pursues a
speeding car through the desert when a

bright flash catches his eye.

Believing it to be an explosion, he
abandons the chase and drives toward it.

But nothing can prepare him for what he
is about to encounter.

He decided to investigate what was going
on.

As he drove up onto this ridge, onto
this hill, and he looked down, he saw

this craft that had landed.

This flashing light had turned into this
craft that was about the size of a car.

I didn't know what it was until I
started moving towards it.

I realized it was something that I had
never seen before.

From here up to see down on top of it.

Sort of an ancient object, about 30 to
40 feet wide.

He decided that he was going to try and
make his way down there. And as he came

down the hill, he fell a little bit, got
back up, but then noticed that there

were a couple beings that were standing
behind this craft.

And one of them was kind of peering out,
looking at him.

The beings got back into the craft, and
then the craft lifted up off the ground

and then took off into the distance as
he watched it.

While there had been famous UFO
sightings before, like the Roswell crash

in 1947,

the Lonnie Zamora incident in 1964 added
legitimacy to these stories

surrounding mysterious flying crafts and
their strange occupants.

Zamora is a trained observer.

He's a law enforcement officer. He is
known as a very rational and down-to

-earth individual, and he's not known
for flights of fancy.

Zamora claimed that he saw an egg-shaped
craft sitting on four distinct landing

struts.

As he had called it in, some follow-on
responders are able to verify that there

are scorch marks and there are four deep
indentations in the earth.

That seems to corroborate what he was
saying about there being some kind of a

craft sitting on four struts.

There's one indentation right there.

The other one over there.

where the rock is, and I had one over
there and one over here.

There was four.

The more this event was researched, and
the more people came to the site to

look, nobody could disprove Lonnie's
story.

Then the FBI shows up, and I knew the
FBI agent, who was one of the people who

was involved in that research.

And what they said was that then, where
the object took off, was fused solid.

This bizarre incident got so much
attention that the United States

government realized they needed their
top investigator on the case.

J. Allen Hynek went out and he
investigated.

Hynek was an astronomer who was hired by
the U.S. government to investigate

UFOs. There were so many of them going
on that they needed somebody to document

this. He was doing it for Project Blue
Book.

Between 1952 and 1969, Project Blue Book
secretly investigated more than 12

,000 UFO sightings, determined to find
rational explanations for what people

across the country were reporting.

And Hynek was its lead researcher.

My father, Joseph Allen Hynek, started
off as a nuts-and-bolts astrophysicist,

was asked by the Air Force to study what
were then called flying saucers.

He thought it would be all of a
weekend's worth of work, and lo and

behold, he spent more than 25 years
trying to get to the bottom of this

phenomena. To make it easier for
scientists to study it and compare

apples to apples, he came up with a
classification system, because that's

what scientists do.

So you have objects that you see in the
sky, which are daylight disks.

and nocturnal lights if it's at night.
And if the object seems to be closer

than 500 feet, it's a close encounter of
the first kind.

If there's some kind of physical
evidence, sunburn on the face, or radar

corroboration, it's a close encounter of
the second kind.

Close encounters of the third kind are
where there's a report of an actual

entity involved.

Lonnie Zamora is one of the close
encounters of the third kind cases.

So what did Lonnie Zamora actually see?

With the White Sands Proving Ground just
35 miles away from the landing site and

the Walker Air Force Base in Roswell
only 140 miles away, did Zamora stumble

upon a top-secret military experiment?

The individuals that he said he didn't
think were human, they were wearing some

kind of white uniforms.

That doesn't necessarily mean that what
Zamora saw were aliens.

It is possible that he saw some form of
experimental craft.

After all, he's in an area with a lot of
government proving grounds in the

immediate vicinity. And it is possible
that essentially an experiment went

wrong and he happened to stumble across
it.

On the other hand, from a military
perspective, we don't know of any

experimental craft from that time period
that would fit the exact parameters of

what Zamora claimed that he saw.

I don't think we should rule out secret
military technology. We know there is

secret military technology, and we know
it's doing things that we don't see with

commercial aircraft.

But it's not the only explanation. And
when witnesses come forward consistently

reporting beings that don't seem to be
human, then the military explanation

doesn't always seem to hold water.

What exactly did Zamora encounter?

What's clear is that over the past 70
years, UFO sightings have become part of

a larger global pattern, one marked by
incidents that defy.

Conventional explanation.

Including more than a month of bizarre
sightings in the skies over New Jersey.

Back in 2024 going into 2025, we had the
mystery drones over primarily New

Jersey, but all along the eastern shore
there.

But the real emphasis was over New
Jersey, just because there were so many

of these reports.

They called them drones, but were they
really all drones? I don't know.

I'm not sure that they were all drones.
Some were, for sure.

Between November 13th and December 17th,
2024, federal officials received over 5

,000 reports of these mystery drones
over the American Northeast, leaving

residents deeply unsettled and grasping
for answers.

It was clear that something was
happening over the tri-state area there.

So what was it? The U.S.?

the government really never gave a firm,
formal answer.

And so that whole series of sightings
ended just the way all of the other

sightings ended, unresolved. This
open-ended, unsatisfying conclusion of

like, what just happened here? And we
don't really know.

Are these mysterious objects in our
skies simply government experiments?

Could they be advanced technology from a
foreign adversary?

Or are they something else entirely?

Something not of this world?

It certainly seems that the inconvenient
truth of UFO reports is not going away.

And if anything, there seem to be more
cases reported.

Now, that could be because more people
have cameras, there are more radars, and

it could be a large case of observation
bias.

But this is a phenomenon that has been
around for some time and is not slowing

down.

It is acknowledged, we should say, that
there are unknowns that the government

cannot explain.

Now, that's different from saying that
these are non-human intelligences or

aliens. But there has been some level of
acceptance that something is going on.

And what we still don't have a societal
agreement about is who are they and

why is this all happening?

Stephenville, Texas, January 8, 2008.

In this small ranch community southwest
of Fort Worth, residents begin reporting

something they can't explain, a massive
silent object.

moving across the evening sky, and the
sheer number of eyewitnesses becomes

impossible to ignore.

You had hundreds of people. Actually, I
think 300 phone calls were made that day

or the next day of what people
consistently described as an enormous

object. And by enormous, I mean
potentially a mile long and a half of a

mile wide.

One person described it as a flying
Walmart, I think. Made me kind of laugh.

But this is an enormous object.

Among the hundreds of witnesses were
ranchers, business owners, and law

enforcement officers.

But none had a better view than Steve
Allen, a private pilot and trucking

company owner, who was standing on the
hilltop overlooking the city when the

lights appeared.

A friend invited me over to his house
just to have an afternoon and enjoy the

evening.

Unlimited visibility you could see
forever.

They had a little campfire going.

Off to the east, I see some bright,
high-intensity lights coming at us at a

very high rate of speed.

As the lights got closer, there's four
real bright, high-intensity lights.

Looked like possibly on the corners of a
craft or whatever it was on.

As the object passed by us, it appeared
to be about a half a mile wide and about

a mile long. It was real close to us,
within 2,000 to 2,500 foot from us.

What was astonishing to me is it had no
propulsion noise, no hum, just totally

silent. That shocked us, to say the
least.

It went on to several miles past us,
came to a complete stop.

There were seven lights blinking in the
rear.

They repositioned to an arc shape
another split second. It was in a

vertical shape. In another split second,
there was two sets of seven lights.

They blinked for a moment, and then it
looked like they burst into a flame in a

controlled rectangle box over the city
of Stephenville for just a moment or

two, and then it disappeared.

It didn't streak off or anything. It
just disappeared.

The second time it came back by, It was
closer and lower and faster.

Not to mention it had two F-16s
following it in pursuit.

They was chasing it with vengeance.

My mind was going back and forth what it
could be, what it can't be. Almost a

disbelievement, you know, of what your
eyes are seeing, you know.

What did Steve Allen and hundreds of
others witness over Stephenville, Texas?

A military aircraft?

a secret government project or something
not of this world

the air force said well we have no
record of anything uh happening

they said well you might have seen the
reflections of a commercial airliner in

the area people were just like are you
out of your mind man how do you expect

us to believe that that's ridiculous
eventually the airport

There actually were a couple of F-16s on
training exercises in the area.

Despite statements made by the U.S. Air
Force, the massive number of

eyewitnesses were far from convinced
that this was a mere training exercise.

Within seven months of the sighting,
civilian investigators with the Mutual

UFO Network, or MUFON, discovered their
own.

We sent investigators to Stephenville to
find out what was going on to better

investigate. We had a town hall meeting.

Over 200 people showed up at this town
hall meeting that had seen these lights.

We also were able to obtain, through
Freedom of Information Act, radar

documents showing that there was
something in the area that wasn't the F

-16.

something unknown.

The radar report did show the F-16s, the
two that I saw behind it, but it also

showed four F-16s on either side of it,
flanking it. And sure enough, craft

comes in at 2,100 miles an hour, reverse
course, and he does a 180 and goes back

out at 1,900 miles an hour.

The Air Force was put into a very
difficult position here with this

because there clearly is an unknown
object that was on this radar.

So that's the last we have of this, and
we still do not have a proper resolution

of this case. But what we do have is
really outstanding multiple witness

testimony.

Sightings were not only observed from
the ground.

There were eyewitness reports of the
same massive craft from passengers.

inside a commercial jet.

And remarkably, the incident in
Stephenville, Texas in 2008

is far from the only UFO reported by an
entire community.

There have been a lot of examples in
American history of widespread, large

-scale observation of unexplained
natural or unnatural phenomena.

We have one case in 1952 where a series
of lights started darting all over above

the nation's capital. It was reported by
commercial pilots that were flying in

the area, and there were radar returns.

And you had thousands of residents of
Washington, D.C., that reported what

they saw.

There was another case in 1997 over a
period of several weeks in the skies

over Arizona.

Thousands of inhabitants reported
seeing...

unexplained lights, and possibly a
massive craft moving in the vicinity of

Phoenix.

And at O'Hare Airport, there was some
form of craft that essentially hovered

over one of the airport gates before
launching almost vertically into the

sky. And there were hundreds of
passengers as well as dozens of aircrew

that specifically saw this thing, and
none of them could account for it in

their own experience.

When you have hundreds of people that
see something that travels in a manner

that our technology is not capable of,
those type of massive sightings,

they periodically occur and they're
still being denied.

Flash forward to 20 years later after
the event, I still think that it came

from somewhere else. There's not much
you can say to a non-believer. If you

landed a spacecraft in their front yard,
they still wouldn't believe it.

Were the Stephenville lights merely
fighter jets, as the United States Air

Force claimed?

Many of the hundreds of eyewitnesses are
simply not buying it.

But there are other close encounters
where seeing something strange is only

the beginning. Like in Brazil, where
witnesses claimed unidentified objects

didn't just appear in the sky.

They attacked.

Colares, Brazil, this small island
community deep in the Amazon Delta,

was once the center of a disturbing
series of events.

Between July 1977 and March 1978,

residents spoke of unexplained objects
in the sky.

And local newspapers reported that
hundreds of people sustained injuries

that no one could explain.

The Calaris incident of 1977 is probably
one of the best examples on record

when it comes to physical evidence of
UFOs affecting people, but

in a very unsettling way.

It really began when fishermen in the
town started noticing strange

lights coming out of the water on the
coast.

And as the lights came out and got
closer, they realized these weren't just

lights. These were cylindrical-shaped
objects.

They were oval.

They were luminous.

But they seemed to be directly targeting
individuals.

This has been called an attack on
humans, striking them in the arms, in

the torso, in the chest, and leaving
behind...

puncture marks and small burns on
individuals.

They would send two separate beams. One
beam was almost like a stun gun, and it

would stun them, and then a second beam
would come down and puncture them.

This was happening so often that they
had a nickname, Chuba Chuba, which means

sucker, sucker.

It was happening to everybody.

90% of the population either saw the
light, saw this happening to family or

friends, or actually experienced it.

You had claims of literally hundreds of
witnesses in the region stating that

they were being stalked by beams of
light that were injuring them and that

there was no escape. You had people
hiding in their homes or wherever they

could hide from this. This truly invoked
terror.

What was attacking residents of Colares,
Brazil, in the late 1970s? While a

definitive explanation is yet to be
determined, the shocking event reported

in the local newspaper O Liberal in 1977
would draw widespread attention to the

small coastal town and prompted many UFO
researchers to investigate these

disturbing and at times painful close
encounters.

I went to Colares.

few times and They are very open to talk
to you at first the people thought

that it was a demon Something like that
because they were attacking them. They

didn't understand what it was Because
the people that live in these small

cities they had no access to any kind of
UFO subject

the people reported that they saw a big
light or a

craft coming out from the river or just
appeared in the sky.

More than 2,000 people were injured by
this laser beam.

They felt something like needles
pinching the skin in the

neck, in the breast, in the arm, in the
leg.

And people got very dizzy and very weak
and go to the hospital.

In the hospital, The doctor makes some
exams and takes some blood samples and

discovers that those people that have
been attacked by the lights got anemia.

They had a lack of iron in their blood.

What mysterious, unidentified technology
could not only send victims to the

hospital, but also, allegedly, alter
their blood chemistry?

Mounting concerns about the disturbing
events drew government attention,

because in 1977, the Oestada do Pará
newspaper even reported military

personnel were also experiencing this
phenomenon.

The Brazilian Air Force got involved in
an official investigation, which we

translate as Operation Saucer. This was
led by an Air Force officer, Urangue

Holanda. He had 100 men at his disposal.

And they did detailed investigations of
this.

At first, the Air Force officers would
try to just brush it off and

tell the locals, this is mass hysteria.
But that would eventually change when

these military officers sent out to stop
the panic from happening. They would

also start witnessing these events.

And some of them would even claim to
have been.

attacked as well.

You really try to think through Kolaris.
Try to figure out what this could have

been. So you run your list of suspects.

Okay, United States military, Brazilian
military, the Soviet Union.

Okay, let's start with that. So with
what technology?

In 1977, by the way, we're not talking
modern drone technology of the 21st

century. So there's a real problem.

Just the logistics and technical
demands.

This went on for like five or six months
in this region.

Then you have the whole Brazilian
investigation part of it. You have the

Brazilian Air Force clearly looking at
this very seriously, and all the people

in Calaras saying the same thing.

There's a flying saucer invasion here,
and they are attacking us.

And look, if you want to remove UAP from
the whole equation, sure, then it's

unexplained. It's not unexplained if you
want to recognize there's another

intelligence operating here.

Were the townsfolk in Calaris, Brazil,
intentionally targeted by an

extraterrestrial presence?

It's a terrifying thought.

But there are other alleged alien close
encounters where people were just

harmed. They may have been taken.

Pascagoula, Mississippi, October 11th,
1973.

After wrapping up their workday at a
local shipyard, two friends are fishing

from a pier on the Pascagoula River when
they observe a bright object flying

over the water.

The 1973 Pascagoula incident is very
bizarre. It really

begins when Charles Hickson and Calvin
Parker noticed a strange light in the

distance and when it got closer they
realized it wasn't just a light this was

a structured craft oval in shape very
bright and it seemed to be descending

closer to the water and all of a sudden
both of these

men felt almost paralyzed they had no
idea what was going on

And that's when they saw the bees.

I don't remember seeing any eyes.

They had something in about the center
of what I would call a face, just

something that came straight out, or a
nose on a human being's face would be.

And they had arms, and they didn't have
hands as we have. They had more or less

like pictures or claws or something like
that.

They see these creatures.

come out of the craft, take them, float
them aboard the craft.

It is a classic abduction case.

As in most abductions, one of the first
things that happen is that the abductees

are scanned.

What they saw, what Cal described to me,
was this large eyeball thing.

He called it an eye, and he said it just
seemed to scan their whole body.

from head to toe.

Almost as soon as it began, both Calvin
and Charlie found themselves on the

ground afterwards, dazed and confused
and with no craft in sight and missing

time.

They went to the local police department
and were, in fact, interrogated.

The police suddenly realized these guys
weren't lying.

If they were drunk and having a
hallucination, that's one thing.

But whatever they told the police, they
believed was true.

Were these men taken by beings not of
this earth?

Whatever the case, UFO researchers argue
the Pascagoula incident is not unique

because similar abduction cases have
been documented since the early

1960s.

Perhaps the...

Granddaddy of all abduction cases is the
Betty and Barney Hill case from New

Hampshire in 1961.

They reported coming back from a belated
honeymoon that they realized when they

got home there was two hours of missing
time.

In the days and weeks that followed the
incident, Betty and Barney reported

fragments of dreams.

and traumatic memories of having been
abducted that are consistent with what

we see in PTSD from soldiers.

Later, under hypnotic regression, they
reported very consistent stories of a

kind of sterile, almost laboratory-like
environment and having been abducted and

examined.

Since Betty and Barney Hill, there have
been hundreds.

of credible abduction cases with
blinding light, paralysis,

and various forms of examination.

These happen all over the world.

Alien abduction, you know, it's one of
these things where at first, when you

hear the first few cases of it back in
the 60s and 70s, it just seemed so

outlandish. Like, what? The aliens are
going to take us?

It's easy to forget just how shocking
that concept was to people at the time.

As the years went on, the accounts had a
very significant consistency to

them, even from people who clearly were
not versed in UFO research.

thousand people who believe they've been
abducted.

There's a bright light. It seems like a
commonality is always some type of a

bright light.

And the next thing they know, they're on
this craft and they're being examined.

And the next thing they remember,
they're back home, they're back on the

trail, they're back in their car, and
several hours have passed.

There are skeptical explanations for
many of them, like sleep paralysis.

or what are called hypnagogic illusions,
the feeling of a presence in your room.

That is something that can happen if
you're in a kind of half-awake, half

-asleep state.

That's not impossible.

But I don't really think that that's the
satisfactory answer here.

Are alien abduction accounts just a
trick of the mind, or the brain

hallucinating on the brink of sleep?

If so, how do you explain cases like
Pascagoula, where witnesses are clearly?

Why do we?

One of the really interesting things
about the Pasco Gula case is that over

the years, more and more corroborating
evidence has come forward.

Dozens of witnesses have come forward
reporting having seen parts of the

overall episode.

I've known Calvin Parker since 1973
until his recent passing. And

I can say that he was honest in saying,
Something that he believed occurred.

To this day, the Pascagoula River
encounter of 1973 remains one of the

most talked about alien abduction cases
in history.

But what are we to make of claims that
include physical evidence of something

otherworldly?

Like a strange metallic sphere
discovered in Colombia that some believe

may not be from this world.

Buga, Colombia.

It's one of South America's most
important pilgrimage sites, with over 3

million Catholics coming annually to see
the stunning Basilica of Our Lord of

Miracles.

But in March 2025, the town went viral
when videos of a bizarre

metallic object flying through the sky
were posted on social media by local

resident Jose Restrepo.

This bizarre orb.

has come to be known as the Booga
Sphere.

The Booga Sphere is this
basketball-sized, shiny metallic

sphere that was seen gliding through the
air around the Booga Columbia area.

The individual who ended up picking this
up, Jose, he started following it,

capturing it on his camera.
Eight-minute-long video of this thing.

It was gliding across the air, started
acting a little erratically, and

essentially fell out of the sky.

The next video that we see shows him
picking this thing up and making off

with it.

The sphere itself has been photographed.
It's about the size of a basketball.

It's got very intricate engravings on
it. You've got a few possibilities

regarding the Bugis sphere.

like legitimate ones that you have to
consider. One is hopes. There are people

who like to test their skills.

Could I create something that's so
cool-looking that the world thinks it's

by aliens? Like, that's certainly one
thing you have to keep in mind.

However, I can say, having reviewed
thousands, many thousands of genuine UFO

reports, that there are many reports of
metallic spheres that people have

reported going back many, many decades.

These reports appear to be reliable.

by honest witnesses, and that the
boogasphere could very well fit that

model as well.

Is this metallic sphere adorned with
strange and unidentified symbols a man

-made hoax?

Or does it represent a close encounter
with extraterrestrial technology?

While Jose Restrepo is no longer in
possession of the boogasphere,

remarkable claims continue to appear
online about the object.

Some researchers point out its
similarity to another metallic sphere

that was discovered in 1974 by a family
in Florida, which was investigated by

the U.S. Air Force's key scientific
advisor for UFO research, Dr.

J. Allen Hynek.

This recent Bugha sphere carries on a
grand tradition of mysterious spheres.

In the 70s, there was something called
the Betz sphere.

from a case in Florida, about the same
size, and it seemed to have its own

interesting properties.

I remember coming home one day when I
was a teenager in Chicago, and we had

this metallic sphere in the basement.

We didn't know why it was there.

We asked our father. He just said, oh, I
thought you guys would enjoy it.

I've had people come to me and ask if
that was the Betz sphere, but I don't

know, and I don't know what happened to
it.

While the nature of the Betz sphere and
the Bugha sphere remain inconclusive,

many believe these unidentified objects
are not dangerous.

But that may not be the case for a
spherical object that was tracked in

2025 by an MQ-9 drone off the coast of
Yemen.

During a congressional hearing, In 2025,
a video was submitted by a

Missouri congressman, Eric Burleson. I
want to cue up a video that I've been

given.

It's an object, an unknown object,
that's moving across the sky, and it's

fired upon by a missile that was
launched from one of our U.S. drones.

The missile basically broke up and
bounced off of it.

And the object continued on.

When I saw that, the first thing I
thought is, why are we shooting at this?

I don't know why we're firing missiles
at something that's an unknown

craft and it's higher technology than
what we have. And we still don't know

what that object was.

It's alarming to think that the military
is encountering technology that exceeds

our capability.

But is there some unknown reason why
these mysterious spheres and other

anomalies are making themselves known in
multiple areas around the world?

Why do these objects seem to be
appearing now more than ever?

So we are now in an era where UAP
sightings are coming in by the thousands

every year.

The question then is, are we dealing
with a real upswing in actual anomalous

activity?

I think you want to be careful before
making that conclusion.

We have much more opportunity to observe
these things and to record them and to

report them.

What we don't have a fundamental
understanding about is what is the

actual volume of genuine anomalous
activity in this world and why. Why are

they here? What are they doing?

Las Vegas, Nevada, May 1st, 2023.

Just after dusk, a green fireball
streaked through the night sky and is

reported to local law enforcement by
multiple eyewitnesses. But dispatchers

receive another call from a resident
claiming there are strange entities in

his backyard.

I swear to God this is not a joke
because I could be really terrified of

it. So there's two people or two
subjects that are in your backyard?

Correct, and they're very large.

They're like 8 foot, 9 feet, 10 foot, I
don't know.

They look like aliens to us.

Big eyes, they have big eyes, like I
can't explain it. And big mouth.

They have tiny eyes and they're not
human.

They're 100% not human.

Angel Kim Moore and his family were
fixing the truck in the backyard, and

all of a sudden this light fell down out
of the sky, which of course they

noticed.

And then all of a sudden there were
these two tall, all I could really say

is beans in their backyard.

They're kind of tall, dark, almost
shadowy in nature.

The police.

actually very willingly went out to the
location because they had also

witnessed, and there's even body cam
footage of this, a streak of green light

shooting across the sky into that area.

What did you see?

It was like a big creature.

A big creature? Yeah, like a long 10
feet tall.

Because I'm not going to BS you guys.
One of my partners said they saw

something fall out of the sky too, so
that's why I'm kind of curious.

The police went out to investigate and
didn't find anything.

I know some investigators that went out
there and investigated, interviewed

these young men, and they really
believed the story to be true.

We don't know if that was a meteor that
went by or maybe a craft that had

crashed, and these two beings were
survivors.

But we still don't know if this did
occur, what happened to the beings,

where did they finally end up. The story
stops there, so there's not enough

evidence.

We actually have video of this, blurry,
grainy, hard to see, but clearly there's

an image there.

It ignites social media, ignites it.

Suddenly, it turns up all over the
place.

Because what we have now, that we didn't
have in 1947, or in 1963,

was YouTube.

In an age of smartphones and instant
uploads, A single unexplained video can

grip the world's imagination overnight.

Oh, my God.

We share it. We debate it. We want it to
be real.

But what does that say about us?

Are we witnessing a growing body of
evidence or a growing desire to believe

we are not alone in the universe?

We are desperate as human beings.
