Let's have a look
at the glass shelves.

Sizes, shapes, weights.

One set of principles.

But what we don't want
to be doing is this look,

now this is all toughened
glass, so don't be frightened of it,

but be aware of it, OK?

If I'm going to start
dragging that like that,

there's all the little
suctions coming in.

If it's not being cleaned
properly, there's grit,

you scratch it and everything and then
you're pulling it all the way out here.

Then I've seen people
carrying them with the one arm.

We never carry anything
heavy on one side, do we?

Because it does that to the spine and
that's your jam straight out your doughnut.

How rude would that be?

You carry them in
a balanced manner.

But really with glass, we don't
want to be carrying it at all because...

we've got trolleys.

So if we're going to be handling
this, what we want to be doing

is having the least amount of
movement with that glass on the glass.

So I could easy
take, look a 45° angle.

I could bring that out from there.

I can get it to that
pivot point there.

I can tilt it and now I can step in
here and I can put it down there,

but I can't put it down there.

I'll come back to
that in a second.

Putting it back.

We get one end down there and
you're just watching for the corners.

But look how I've moved my feet
to actually feed that one into there.

See this here?

See the rubber strip on there?

There isn't one on there.

Now, the one thing you
need to be aware of with glass

is it's got to go onto a
substance softer than itself.

So if you're putting it down
onto concrete or metal,

there's a high risk of
the corners shattering

and then it renders it useless.

So it goes on to things
like wood or rubber.

But none of that.

Notice it was from there, one end
down, and lower the other end down.

Always inside the base.

But I can't put it on metal

because it'll actually crack
the glass on the bottom,

get a sharp edge, and
then we can't use it.

So again, things like this,

you know, the shortest
possible distance there,

you can get a nice
smooth run on that one.

It's coming across, get
it to the pivot point there,

it's inside the base,
take the weight of it.

Again, just be easy as
you're putting it down,

get it on those pads,
that's sliding there, lovely.

And again, look,
palms of the hands.

So don't be frightened of it.

Be cautious of it and never on
a substance harder than itself.

So if you come across
that, what you're going to do?

Exactly that, you're going to be
a team player and get it reported.

Sort it or report it.

Otherwise, it's always
going to be like that, isn't it?
