And Jonathan looked at me with that funny
little grin he had, as much as to say,

and we can do it!"

And we did.

We were the perfect team.

Why, I wouldn't even call him "Dad"
or "Father," like other kids did.

To me, he was always Jonathan.

Jonathan,
I was right about Rosine.

She made you think I was
spoiled and unreasonable.

I expected you hours ago.

I'd been wrong about you.

doctor's orders.
