not only about what happened,

Instead, they chose a response

that will likely reinforce
the stereotypes

they should be working

It does bother me because

they, just before I left,
gave me awards

for, like, with my partners,

taking a lady out
of a building on fire

and talking someone off a roof
that was mentally ill.

So, it's like to give me those
and then do something like this?

I just don't understand.

I don't want to say
anything bad about them.

Like, I know things can be,
like, taken out of context.

Everyone in the department knew,
like, where I was going.

partners I worked with

still appreciate
all the stuff we have.

the fact that the city didn't,"

even though he was saying

Watching him

I think that when you're
in the island,

of course,
if you're going to find love,

you can't be, like,
so in your head

about everything that you say.

You really have to, like--
If you want this to work,

you do have to be yourself.

not knowing what to expect,

I held my breath a little bit,
because there are some people

who are so beloved.

And women are so horny
over the comments of like,

"Tell him not to worry,
because I'm going to find him."

I can't even imagine what it's

like having the mayor
of the town

where you live come out
and say--

- That was trifling as fuck.

You're going to punish
him publicly

for making a decision

And he said that everybody knew
where he was going.

How much crime is there

as though he was someone,

when the cast announcement
was made, people were like,

after they gave him a chance.

Sometimes, when I see
these, like, reality shows,

wants to open a boutique

Or "Which one of y'all
wants to be a personal trainer?"

I'll just be like, "Damn,

we got enough gyms out here,"

but we actually like Sean.

I just feel like he is someone
where I'm like,

you actually didn't-- Your time
was cut a little short,

and I don't think it was due
to lack of connection,

because I feel like him
and Kenzie had a great

little connection going on
that was blossoming.

did have a great connection.

personalities come together.

Every single season, I think,

"I don't know
if they're gonna be friends."

Sometimes, I don't know
if it's better to be, like,

a Bombshell or an OG.

I don't know.
There's, like, pros and cons.

I would feel more secure
in being an OG, but...

But men love a stranger.

...I would love the challenge
of being a Bombshell.

What do you think the challenge
is of being a Bombshell?

You also have to have
a certain level

of emotional vulnerability

when you come in
as a Bombshell right away,

and that's really hard.

It's like I commend people
that come on shows like this,

because I can't imagine.

- You have to be so brave.

I wouldn't be able to do it.
I would not be able to do it.

I've been dying to get into?

The diversity.

Oh, the backgrounds.

- It's crazy.

I love bringing--
I love interracial,

intercultural experiences.

I love people
from different backgrounds.

Like, I feel like that is
the crux of America, one.

Two, I feel like it is--
That is real life.

Honestly, I kind of got
a little joy out of Kenzie

being the only blonde.

'Cause there's usually
more than one.

I'm like,
there's usually 10 of them.

And they're not influencers.

They are normal,
everyday people.

And they have real jobs.

They've either gone to school,
They're doing-- I mean--

These people are
out in the real world,

who haven't found love, who
haven't found those connections,

and they are gambling
on this island and this bubble

and putting themselves
through such scrutiny.

And when you're an influencer
or a content creator,

you are used to some, like,
pushback and, like, criticism.

You're like, "Oh, whatever.
It's part of the job."

They aren't.
- Yeah.

They aren't.
They have a bad day,.

the only people
that hear about it

is who's ever cc'd on the email.

Yeah.

Can you believe it's only
been two weeks in the Villa?

I feel as though they have lived
through so many lives.

This, I feel, is, like,
accelerated in a way.

Are you eating
or were you just like--

I'm always eating.

But, no, it's like--
it's only been two weeks.

Like, they've had to get
really vulnerable really fast.

The girls I feel the most
nervous for at this point...

...are Aniya...

Aniya because Aniya has--

Sincere feels like
he's being a good man

as long as Melanie's happy.

And there's something

a lot in Aniya,

allegiance to a person

earned it, per se.

but it's almost too soon

through random ones.

And it was one of,

"Hey, I really love you.

I'm sorry there's so much
negativity out there."

And immediately
heart to my stomach.

- You're like, "What negativity?"

And then she said something
along the lines of like,

"I can't believe that mayor said
that about you, da-da-da."

Do you have a message
for him? You can talk to him.

Um, to be honest, like,

when I seen it
at first, it was--

it just sucked, you know, like--

I've-- I've met him.

I have no complaints
about the guy.

Like, he seemed like
a good dude.

what pressures he's facing.

that being said.

It's difficult though.

And I was like, "Yeah, it's
something I'm going to pursue."

Okay, so what even made you
want to come onto "Love Island"?

The first thing
that led to it was, like,

when am I going to get
an experience like this?

I'm not a model, not an actor,
not anything.

And I love fucking love,

you're gonna go find some of
the prettiest women in the world

and put them in front of me

will take me places and stuff
like that.

So it's just-- I was just so
sad and heartbroken.

I left my cat with my mother.
