wounds that I just poked at.

I'm pissed Mike white
got voted out of the game

because he was an ally.

He was somebody that I
wanted to work with, so,

would I have really voted out Mike white?

No, I wouldn't have. I would

But still, it comes at a cost.

The cost is the trust.

Just-just to be clear, ozzy,

the decision to make sure that-that...

That you didn't have
to lie to Mike was on me.

These two wanted to tell you.

Right before tribal council,

There's no doubt in my mind.

and Emily just was along for the ride.

Insurvivor, there's

so much about this game that can really

cause you to go into a spiral of negativity,

of aggression, of shame.

And our thoughts are like the waves

that come rippling across the surface.

When I start meditating,
my ocean of thought is

sort of like a churning
right before a storm,

and there's waves crashing.

And through this
awareness, my breathing...

it then calms down

and it starts to become more tranquil.

It doesn't really matter what
my problems are in the moment.

It's just about accepting
the beauty of it all.

You know, knowing
that it's gonna be okay,

and I'm gonna be able
to approach relationships

with a much better attitude.

medieval, Japanese lore,

that have come together

to come up with these names.

I feel that you are the most resolute,

I just, like, haven't found
my people in this game.

make your way through
a series of obstacles,

collecting bags of
coconuts along the way.

Once you have all
your coconuts to shore,

a different tribe member
will empty those bags

to find four keys.

Then another tribe member
will use those keys to unlock

a box and release a grappling hook.

Then the last tribe member
will use that grappling hook

to retrieve a set of sandbags.

You will all then work
together to land those sandbags

on five very small targets.

The first... and only
the first tribe to finish...

wins immunity.

which was getting Dee
on my side, which, check.

Then it was getting
the most iconic player

to never win survivor, in
Cirie, so check for there.

There's only one little
check left that I got to get to,

and that's miss kamilla.

Yeah.

And I told Kyle, "I love
you man. I'm so sorry."

- "I wanted to play this game with you."
- Yeah.

He's like... he's like, "rizo,

if you meet her, play with kamilla."

- I said, "okay I'm gonna do it."

What better way to
solidify kamilla than say,

"hey, Kyle's final words to
me was, work with kamilla"?

It wasn't true, but I'm sure

Kyle was feeling that
deep down in his heart.

Something for you to
know is the idol mechanic.

So you guys have idol... there's idols?

There are. It's called the Billie Eilish idol.

Billie Eilish is a big fan,

- and she's a part of season 50.
- That's hilarious.

Like... no-no one was expecting that.

rizo was telling me Kyle
was his number one out there.

Kyle was like the older
brother he never had.

That doesn't make sense to me.

Kyle barely got to play the game.

- "She'll help you if I can't help you."
- Yeah.

If rizo is lying about this,
maybe I can't trust him.

But I'll just pretend to believe it for now.

And we'll see how it goes.

there's not all that
much strategy going on,

because me, kamilla,
Jonathan, devens and Dee

are all ready to fire our shots at rizo.

I want to beat rizo to the punch.

The way idols work this season?

I wanted to fill you in.

Out here on 50, it's
hard to know who to trust.

There isn't really much to go off of

other than what information
have people shared with me.

And rizo came to me and
shared this information first.

Charlie's game is too slow.

That's very frustrating to work with.

It feels like he's trying
to play multiple angles.

Who are you leaning towards?

Rizo.

The problem is I know

they want to vote each other out,

and I could go either way.

So I have

a big decision to make
for this first tribal council.

I think we did a great
job on that challenge.

Like, we did. In the
end, we got, you know...

Excellent work, ozzy, seriously.

Excellent work by all, of course.

We got to go back to tribal council again.

Ozzy, Emily and I... we are just so lucky.

We got to go to every tribal council.

I mean, every vote on Angelina.

And what are we telling her?

The plan is the most obvious plan

on the face of the earth,
which is, the four of us...

that is myself, Christian,
Stephenie and ozzy...

put all of our votes on Angelina.

She's been a target for
a couple of times now

and keeps skating by.

If there ever was an easy vote

in survivor, this should be an easy vote.

- So, my thinking -would be Stephenie.
- Okay.

But I... I-I want you both to have input

- on this one.

I think Stephenie does make sense.

Emily and Christian... they
are telling me Stephenie,

but I also have a voice
in the back of my mind

of like, "be careful."

Christian and Emily, at last tribal council,

completely blindsided me

and took out my closest
friend in this game.

And so, I don't know if I can trust them,

but we'll see.

Let me just finalize with you.

Yeah, of course.

I mean, everybody
does have great points

about Angelina. That's
the problem, you know?

But I would be down for
a blindside on Christian.

Everyone thinks that we're
gonna blindside Angelina,

but Christian double-crossed
me last tribal, and

I was upset by the breach of trust.

It's really what it comes down to for me.

I mean, I'm just worried
that, you know, you guys are...

- All right, I mean, that...

But I'm not, period.

And it's been almost a decade
since I've been blindsided,

and it's never fun.

It brings up old wounds, old traumas.

So right now, I need some assurance

that I don't go home.

I really want to work with...
Like, I think that we have...

A good thing going, and

if you are willing to give
me your shot in the dark

as insurance that you're
not actually coming...

Coming for me, -yeah.

It would make me feel a lot better.

I want to be able to trust. It's just, like,

need something to get
me through the next tribal.

Tonight's vote is purely about trust.

And so, we'll see, when
the time actually comes,

if he gives me his shot in the dark or not,

but who knows?

Christian's been speaking
out of both sides of his mouth.

I just want to be able to

has asked for my shot in the dark, but

is he just trying to disarm me, literally,

so I have nothing to save myself
if he decides to take me out?

So maybe, in turn,

he wants me to feel like I

The gift of the shot in
the dark is part of that.

The ritual of subservience

to the great ozzy of the island.

I had no idea...

The scallop's kind of like

the abductor muscle that holds the clam.

Emily and I... we had
this kind of back and forth,

whether to trust each
other or not trust each other,

but I've grown to really
respect Emily a lot,

and I do hope that I can
play a long game with her.

And so, I wanted to have
an honest conversation.

Let's start thinking about how
we're gonna play this game

with each other going forward.

I want to play the game
with you, not necessarily

with, like, you and Christian,

- yeah?
- Going forward, 'cause I'm just worried

that your relationship with Christian

- might be a problem later in the game.
- Yeah.

When you look at things rationally...

and I think she's very good at this...

if she and Christian
already have this target

on their back as a couple,

it would make more sense
for her to get rid of Christian

and work with me, who not a
lot of people would necessarily

suspect that we have
this working relationship.

Let's just say, if we
did get rid of Christian,

we'd get rid of Angelina next.

I hope Emily is on board
to vote out Christian tonight.

But I know for a fact
that Angelina is a number

that I could have on my side.

She is upset with the fact
that Mike got voted out,

so she's ready to make a move.

I think so. I mean, if
you have a better idea...

No, no. Definitely not a better idea.

I just always like to weigh all the options.

On the surface, it looks
like there might be two duos,

with me in the middle.

Emily and Christian
will vote for Stephenie.

Then Stephenie and ozzy
will vote for Christian, and

I will vote for whoever I
think is best for my game.

I had a conversation with ozzy,

and ozzy really wants you.

Such a baby. Such a baby.

He's gonna go after me for this?

We're playing survivor.

Like, you have to know
that stuff is gonna happen.

I have been working my tail off

trying to reestablish trust with ozzy,

and it hurts me to my core
that something so... anodyne

as being lied to about
a vote made him so irate

that he's considering voting me out.

What is with this guy?

That's-that's... What a baby.

My fear tonight is that
ozzy, in this fit of ego,

will keep around someone
who's a bad idea to work with

and get rid of me, and my game is over.

So, at this point, the only right play is

to give him my shot in the dark

and tell him, "this is my token of trust."

- So, first off, it's in your hands.

And this represents, for me,

that I'm putting all my trust in you.

- Yeah.
- And, I mean,

you could pull people
together, get me out.

And I've said this before.

But nothing I ever did in
this entire game was meant

in any way of malice toward your game,

and obviously not you, personally.

I now have Christian's shot in the dark,

and I feel like I can trust him more.

But he's in a vulnerable position, so,

I'm looking at it in the only
way that I think I should,

and that's, am I ready

to go forward with
him in the game or not?

I saw you had a chat with kamilla.

Okay, good.

- I'm gonna do something

that I'm not supposed to do.

But to solidify this, 100%.

- Someone gave me an idol.

And I hope it's Genevieve.

Rizo tells me he
received a Billie Eilish idol

from someone, and I'm like,

"wow." he has me lock, stock, and barrel.

But I start to feel a little guilty.

See, I'm old school. Like,

you don't share your
secrets with nobody.

But rizo has given me so much,

I want to give him something back.

You know the whole
story about the journey?

Whoever didn't get the
pot got an extra vote.

Ozzy gave it to me.

And you're the only
person that knows that.

I'm trusting rizo, and

I don't feel like it'll come back to bite me.

I'm willing to play this game with him

as honest and as loyal as
he's trying to play with me.

- Yeah.

I've never done anything

- like this, ever.
- But this is-this is

my survivor dream right now.

- I'll give you everything I got.

Operation bad blood
is looking really good.

And I feel like the man,
the myth, the legend,

r-i-z-g-o-d, rizgod, baby,
in back-to-back seasons,

might go a long way.

Jeff pulls me to the side,

and he's like, "rizo, you
were so great this season."

"Like, how do you feel like
coming back nine days later

and doing season 50?"

Survivor 50, for me, is
about cementing my legacy.

I want to be remembered as one

of the greatest players to ever play.

It's like Jeff snuffed my
torch, and then he says,

"all right, welcome to season 50."

You sound like him.

I want to be the greatest of all time.

And I really feel like
I can make it happen.

'Cause I found an idol on my season...

Savannah says you were
good with that thing, too.

Several tribals in a row,
you threatened to use it,

- yeah.
- And kept slipping through

without actually using it, and that -yeah.

- You were real ballsy about it.
- Amazing.

I mean, listen, I played
the game really well.

Like I'm not gonna say
here, "I just got to 50"

"'cause I had a nice story." I
played the game really well.

According to rizo, he made it pretty far

in his season, and if
we believe him, that is

kind of scary.

I picked up my torch, I said,

"Jeff, you know what to do."

He said, "rizgod..."

Rizgod, the tribe has spoken.

Who goes around telling people that

"people call me the
rizgod"? I think it's so weird.

But here's the thing.

Survivor49... we haven't seen it yet.

He could be lying. I have no idea.

The devil you know is better

than the devil you don't with rizo.

And what I heard was

their season had a bunch of blindsides.

- So...
- Which is scary.

Going into tribal council
tonight, Jonathan,

Charlie and devens will
write down rizo's name.

Dee, rizo and Cirie will
write down Charlie's name.

So that's three versus three.

And I'm in between both alliances.

So I get to decide who goes home.

I could go with rizo's
plan to blindside Charlie.

He's holding his cards to his chest

a bit too much, compared
to everyone else.

Or I could get rid of rizo.

He's the last unknown out here.

And I don't know if I can trust him.

Tonight's vote is about following my gut,

and hopefully, my gut is right tonight.

The two options tonight
are Angelina and Christian.

Angelina is the most obvious choice.

People have been
trying to vote her out for

a number of tribal councils.

On the other hand,

I have Christian's shot in the dark,

and this would be a perfect opportunity

to take out one of the
biggest threats in the game.

My hope is that

ozzy trusts me enough
to keep me around.

For me to go home
over Angelina right now...

that would really hurt.

But tonight, he has the power.

So, we'll see what he
decides to do with it.

you've sat through a lot of tribal councils.

What is the vibe tonight
compared to the other times

- you've come to tribal?
- I was just thinking,

on the way here,
actually, I was like, "wow."

The numbers get smaller
further in the game.

And I don't like to say goodbye to people

that I-I know and start to care about.

- So it's brutal.
- One hundred percent.

I think, especially, us three, you know?

We've gone to every single tribal council.

I feel like, in front of these other tribes,

we should sell it harder
how nice it is here.

Be like, "aubry, whole slaw platter."

- "Jonathan, we each got 20 eggs."
- And wine.

- "It was amazing."
- "Jeff gave us

one glass each to really spill the beans."

Mr. Jeff, may I ask a

Angelina, if you got

and, what type of wine it was, ma'am?

I just want to verify the story.

Well, yeah, I would say
that wine, technically,

does come in a box,
although not-not good wine.

But, I mean, that's subjective.

We can do this all night. This is fun.

Okay, wait. First, the rap.
Now the impersonations.

What else do you have?

- Jack of all trades.
- It's 50.

We're early. Who knows what's coming?

So, ozzy, even just this little

joking brings some levity to it.

But regardless, what,
if any, residual impact

is there from coming to tribal so often?

Because we know the
part of it that can bond you.

But it's also the wear and tear.

Sometimes, it can eat into a group.

For sure, but if you

play the right game with the right people,

it's a golden opportunity,
because you learn

when to trust and when not to trust.

And I'll be honest. I
was blindsided last tribal.

And, you know,

I feel like I had a little temper tantrum.

You know, I wanted
to get my feelings out,

and I wanted to be honest.

Just being left out of
a vote sometimes can

feel like you're being
sent out of the game.

So, at the end of the day,

I was in the moment, and I
hope these guys understand that.

So Angelina, this sounds
like it was pretty public.

Yeah, I mean, it was-it
was right at our campfire.

And ozzy kind of made,
like, an angry campfire,

I'd say, which I appreciated.
It was very warm,

but it was, like, growing
with his temperature.

But, you know, his reaction was

direct, it was honest, and it was real.

And it was raw.

And I didn't think you
were inappropriate at all.

- And I appreciated the fire.
- So, hubicki, it sounds

like it was a moment.

Yeah, of course it was a moment.

And I appreciated, I-I think,
where it was coming from.

And while we won't agree
on everything that happened,

I know that, deep down,

he is a thoughtful and reflective person.

And that's what I always
respected bout him.

I always knew that.

So, Steph, you come off

a big blindside that
ozzy's not happy about,

but then you got to compete
together, and you lose again.

Yeah, I mean, the only thing

that is positive about coming to tribal is

you really are forced
to try to find the people

that you can trust in this game.

And sometimes you're not so sure.

You question it, but eventually,

your gut does kick in,
and you tell yourself, "okay,

this is-this is the route I'm going."

Ozzy, is tonight's vote different

than the last vote with Mike white

because of where the group
is that you're now down to five?

Yeah, for sure.

Now we're down to, you know, this five.

There's no place to hide.

And at a certain point,
you really have to decide,

"all right, who are the people

"that I really want to trust going forward

in this next stage of the game?"

Because if you don't have

a couple people, even
one person that you know

that you can rely on with your life,

then it's super hard to make it to the end.

Angelina, how will this tribe be different

after tonight's tribal?

I'll say this.

The last swap tribe I had

on David vs. Goliath
came down to three people.

And those very same three
people were the final three

of that season.

And so, although voting is horrible,

it bonds us in a way that
we can't even understand

until the game continues.

And so my hope for
the four that goes back,

know that I am a ride or die.

And my past experiences show that.

the chance to play again,

and give the thing
that I wanted the most...

If this is your first time at tribal,

because in this game,
fire represents your life,

and when your fire's gone, so are you.

So, rizo, you've been smiling since

Jeff, I've been playing
survivor36 out of the last

45 days in my life.

And the fact that I'm playing

with people I idolize, it's something

I didn't envision three months ago.

So, I... I'm speechless,

which is a first for
me, and you know that.

Charlie, can you relate to that?

Just the idea that you're here

with all these other great players

at this epic tribal council
on season 50 of survivor.

It's very relatable, what rizo's saying.

But I'll add that, to me,
that's adding to the stakes.

You don't want to leave,

So, it's like a pressure cooker.

It's all your first time here

for most of you, but
Jonathan, Charlie is right into it.

for the ones that
haven't been to tribal yet,

you don't really know who is who

until pen hits parchment.

I mean, we got a bunch
of legends sitting here.

We got people that did all sorts of stuff,

so we don't know what's gonna happen.

We've all kind of been waiting to see

- who does what.
- Charlie, is there

a little bit of excitement that this is

the part of the game
where you get to prove

what kind of game you got?

Yes.

And no.

It's exciting because, for
a lot of the people here,

hopefully, including me,

this is the start to our rest
of... to the rest of our game.

That's exciting.

But these are a bunch of veteran liars.

And that's... That's super scary.

Devens, one thing to consider.

Rizo... nobody knows his game,

because the way survivor is shot,

we shot season 49, and
then we shot season 50.

So he's an unknown quantity
other than what he shares.

Yeah, absolutely. You know,

all I saw of rizo was "rizgod!"

And then you meet him, and he's, like,

wise beyond his years,
and he's a total peer.

And I've been really impressed with him,

and he's-he's hard not to love. Yeah.

So, rizo, walk me
through the pros and cons

of being a player that nobody
actually knows a lot about.

So, Jeff, if I take you into

the survivorrolodex of history,

the players that have come
back-to-back, historically,

do really, really well.

You talk about Malcolm,
Amanda kimmel, Russell hantz.

They always come
back and do really well.

But who wants to play
with an unknown player?

So I told them how I played 49.

I played a loyal game,
and I played with people

that I brought to the end together.

So why not use me as a number,

not only tonight, but
for the rest of this game?

Kamilla, you got to admire

the bravado of rizo, who
comes out here and says,

"look, I know you don't know my game.

"I'm telling you I told the truth.

- "And I'm also telling you, I belong."
- Yeah.

And I think there's something interesting

about wanting to prove yourself.

That's the perfect way to play,

because if your torch gets
snuffed, you'll have no regrets.

But we don't know
what happened on 49,

so I feel like rizo is
kind of a question Mark.

Devens, what's one thing
that rizo doesn't understand

because he hasn't seen his season play?

I think one really valuable thing is

you see how other people react to you.

You might have spent months thinking

your academy award
performance was just awesome,

and you're sitting on screen going,

"give me the golden globe, baby."

But meanwhile, the
rest of your tribe's going,

"he really tried to do that?

Like, he really thought we bought that?"

And that's a valuable
thing that you don't get

till months after you play
the game, sometimes.

Rizo, would it be
diminishing your approach

to the game if I said,
"you got nothing to lose"?

Like you said, you didn't even know

you were gonna be on 49 that long ago,

and now here you are on 50, so,

you're just playing with house money.

You know, Jeff, I came to survivor,

not only to play one
time, but twice, to prove

that I got what it takes to be out here.

So if I go home because
I tried to play the game,

so be it. Like, you ask me,
am I playing with house money?

Hell yeah, I'm playing with house money.

I hope that house
money keeps me around

tonight, 'cause I got a lot
more money to play with.

Charlie, do you see
any of yourself in rizo?

Yeah.

I think rizo played and

thinks about the way he played
probably the way all of us did.

And this might be biting,

but we're the hero of our own stories.

Because going through
the game in your own head,

rather than watching
yourself play survivor

and getting to see all the other stories...

it colors things differently.
