came in about 4:47 PM over
the Greater Pittsburgh area.

There was guys out
there in dark suits.

The official
explanation was the next day,

it was a bright
meteor in the sky.

They went
to their death bed

stating that something did
happen here in Kecksburg.

I've
got dead stick,

which is really concerning
because I can't abort.

It's just freaking me out.

That's manmade earthwork.

It's impossible.

I mean, here we go again, right?

This looks
like it's just coming

out of the dadgum ground.

That shouldn't be there.

Whatever that is, it
shouldn't be there.

We
might have actually

found the real crash site.

I want my mommy.

For years,
scientists have

been working to reveal the
secrets of Skinwalker Ranch.

But is it possible
that the clues

to unlock the
mystery are located

beyond the borders of this
hub of high strangeness?

So you've all heard
of the Roswell crash.

Sure.

Who hasn't?

But have you heard
of the Kecksburg crash?

Yes, I have.

Kecksburg, Pennsylvania--

Yes.

-had
a relatively well-known,

amongst our community, crash in
1965, that has really kind of

become an unanswered cold case.

Well, I'll confess.

Look, I've been hoping that
we might engage this story.

You have?

I know a little bit
about it, as does Travis.

And so this is really exciting.

So the story is that
there is some kind of craft,

or space debris, or something
that came down there,

acorn-shaped.

But what it is, or what
it was, or what happened

remains really kind of
shrouded in mystery.

There were a lot of
witnesses at the time.

It got a lot of coverage,
and then just sort of faded

from view under, it seems
like, sort of a cloak

of secrecy and some cover up.

We have an opportunity
now to go in Kecksburg

and see if we can't bring some
of the most modern technology

that we have
available to us to try

to answer the unanswered
questions about what happened

in this location.

This sounds pretty ambitious.

We don't know what this thing
is or how it worked or whatever,

right?

Was it really a UFO?

Was it a downed experimental
craft that was being worked on?

Who knows what it
could have been?

One asset that we feel
like we've got going in here

is a guy named Stan
Gordon, a guy who

was local to the area, who
was really captivated by this

as a young man, and
ever since has really

been sort of a clearinghouse
of stories related to Kecksburg

and everything else.

He sounds like a real
treasure trove of information

on this particular--
- For sure.

area.

And the story may be
bigger than Kecksburg itself.

And here's where we think
it gets really interesting.

Kecksburg itself is
located in an area

called the Chestnut Ridge.

And Chestnut Ridge is a
100-mile long subrange

of the Appalachians,
where it turns

out there are reports of all
kinds of high strangeness.

We're also
going to see another site

that's called Livermore.

And Livermore is
45-minute drive, maybe

50 miles away from Kecksburg.

And the
backstory of Livermore,

it's a historical-- it's sort of
a pre-colonial settlement that

was flooded and
effectively destroyed.

The story goes that
there are reports

of UFOs, of strange
lights, of strange noises,

of cryptids that seem
to haunt the area.

The parallels between
Skinwalker Ranch and the larger

Chestnut Ridge centered
around Kecksburg

are just too many to ignore.

I think we have some
ambitious plans for this.

Yeah.

Well, I feel like
this is a topic where--

and an area where certainly an
ambitious effort is warranted.

Andy and Paul meet with Stan
Gordon near the supposed crash

site in Kecksburg to learn
more about the alleged UFO

incident that occurred in 1965.

Well, here we are in the
shadow of the UFO itself.

Yeah,
that's a replica

of what witnesses said they
saw that night back in 1965.

I mean,
this is the origin story

of this whole region, right?

I mean, this is
where it all began.

This was the case
that people remember and talk

about throughout this
area in Pennsylvania

and even around the country.
- Right.

Can you tell me what happened?

An object came in
about 4:47 PM over

the greater Pittsburgh area.

The police departments,
the radio and TV stations,

newspaper offices were
jammed with phone calls

from people seeing this
brilliant, fiery object.

The witnesses who saw
this thing that afternoon

in this general area said
it was moving very slowly,

almost like it was controlled.

And the people saw it go
down said it did not come

down at a high rate of speed.

It came down almost like it was
making a controlled landing.

And who issued
this official report?

Was it local police?

Was it state police?

Who was the last word on this?

And it wasn't until
1987 when I was holding

a very large public
display at the local mall,

and a man happened to
walk by with his family.

And they said, I
was on the search

team that found the object.

And what they found
was not an aircraft.

And he said it was a large
metallic acorn-shaped object

semi-buried in the ground.

Although Stan
and others have applied

for government records
surrounding what actually landed

and was removed from
Kecksburg, nothing substantial

has ever been released.

I think we just start
with the impact site.

Can you take us
to that location?

I can take you down
to the wooded area

where the object fell.

And, uh, there's
two other fellows

that I know from the local area
who were witnesses that night

to different aspects of it.

And they can meet us
down there in the woods.

Absolutely.

With Stan
in tow, Andy and Paul

now make the short drive
to the outskirts of town

to the area suspected
to be the UFO crash

site, although the exact
location of the landing

remains a mystery.

eyewitnesses Bill Weaver and Ron

Struble to learn what the
two men saw on the evening

of December 9, 1965.

Now, if I'm understanding
correctly, then your research

and the witnesses that you've
spoken to place the objects

basically in this wash.

Is that correct?

And then the experience
that you gentlemen had

confirms that this is
the right patch of woods,

but neither of you know
firsthand where it landed?

I was not down here, no.

I came after it landed.

It was a nice night.

I had the top down.

I was out for a ride.

I seen there were some people
standing alongside the road

there, and I stopped.

They pointed back this way.

The police and the military,
they were all over the place.

And there was guys out
there in dark suits.

They were the ones that
seemed to be in charge.

There was a large truck.

And out of that truck
came a large box.

And they carried it down
in the direction of where

this thing had come down.

So you were up on the
road watching all this?

Yes.

You were not able
to get down here?

I was not down here, no.

While we were standing there
watching what was going on,

the state police and the
military come up to us

and they told us,
if you don't move,

we're going to
confiscate your car.

And I figured I'd better move.

So I did.

Ron, what do
you recall from that night?

Well, we looked out our
bedroom window in Greensburg,

and we'd seen the orange
streak in the sky.

Within 20 minutes,
we were out here.

And the firemen was already up
here with the, uh, road control

to make sure that
nobody got down in here.

And I could see the
military down in this hole.

I mean, that's a
very fast response.

Right?

I mean, is there a
military base nearby?

I'm suspicious that
this is National Guard.

They'd be the first
ones called in.

And then when I hear you
talk about men in suits,

the first thing that
comes to my mind

is some sort of
administrative official, FBI.

That would have come
from further, though.

That would have come
from possibly Pittsburgh.

How did such a team
converge on this location

in such a short period of time?
- Yes.

Certain
elements of this story just

aren't adding up.

If it really was some sort
of catastrophic disaster

like an airplane crash
or a meteor strike,

it would take a long
time for those people

to get to the location.

I mean, instead,
what this sounds

like is there was some sort
of early warning system.

Somebody was watching
this long before it ever

entered the atmosphere,
and they were

able to project approximately
where it would land.

That would give them
enough of a head start

to get military and
government in motion

to intercept the location
and keep the public out.

In the beginning,
I was kind of a--

I wasn't a believer.

But then later in life, I
joined the fire service.

And, uh, during that
period up until now,

I got to know the
guys really well.

And, uh, they told me that
they were here and some of them

drove the trucks, and they
were here during the incident.

They went to their death
bed stating that something

did happen here in Kecksburg.

Yeah, I feel
like we have an opportunity

to do a survey of the area--

Yeah.

with some of our equipment
and see if we can't hone

in data-wise on something that
might be anomalous in the area.

Andy and Paul are
in Kecksburg, Pennsylvania,

with investigators Stan Gordon
and two surviving eyewitnesses

at the site of a possible
UFO crash in 1965,

that official reports
said was a meteor strike.

They're now going
to look for any

evidence that could shed light
on this 60-year-old mystery.

We're just going to see if
there's any sort of energy

signature or anything
else we can find out

that might point more
specifically to where this thing

might have come down.

Andy and Paul
will be using their spectrum

analyzer and radiation meter to
survey the alleged landing site.

They're looking for any
abnormalities on the radio

spectrum, specifically in
the privileged 1.4 to 1.8

gigahertz frequencies,
reserved for Earth-to-space and

space-to-Earth transmissions.

All right, are you seeing
anything on the broad spectrum?

I'll tell you, it's very flat.

Tiny little peaks.
Oh, wow.

That's a quiet
spectrum for sure.

Yeah.

They're also
testing for radiation levels

above 20 microgram,
which is double

the average level in the US.

That could indicate some
residual effects of the crash.

So far,
radiation is also showing

very normal readings here.

It's
all very consistent

down here as well, man.

Anything above background?

You know, I wonder,
it feels like we need to do

some kind of broader survey.

There might be some evidence
here that's in the landscape.

We might be able to identify the
exact location where this acorn

landed, or potentially
identify a location that

explains why it landed here.

Either it was here before
and that's why it arrived,

or something that was left
behind after the impact.

Yeah, it'd be nice for us to
know what exactly did happen.

if we can't move the dial

and get some answers
to those questions.

possible UFO landing

through third-hand information,

the impact site might
actually be in this

wash area right behind us.

thing came down in this area,

typically, the tools

that I bring have to do
with physical evidence

right on the ground.

I brought all the
usual suspects,

LiDAR and the SLAM scanner.

If one of you guys
want to scan, I

can be watching the data coming
in on the tablet in real time.

I'm happy to
stomp around, sure.

Handheld LiDAR,
also known as a SLAM scanner,

uses laser light
to map out an area.

It measures the time it takes
for the laser to bounce back

after hitting an
object and uses that

collected data to
create a detailed

3D model of the environment.

I just want to make sure we
see data and then you're off.

I'm good to go.

Here we go.

LiDAR technology
also has the ability

to strip away
layers of vegetation

to visualize the
topography of a site,

which can reveal
areas not easily

detected by the naked eye.

We know
we're looking for something

that happened in the past.

We have these dense woods.

And we need a piece of tech
that allows us to scrape

away the layers of
the currents in order

to get backwards in time.

And the SLAM scanner is
exactly the kind of tool

to make that happen.

So that's top down.

We've got
a storm coming in.

We do not have a lot of time.

the greater landing site area.

image of the area

and potentially uncover hidden
information about exactly

where the UFO may have landed.

pattern to cover the surrounding
area near the purported crash.

It's really deceptive.

If it's blowing

probably blowing 45 up there.

UFO may have landed in 1965.

the drone and those around it,

it's been acting weird,

rather than what I
was telling it to.

The good news is it's been
scanning the whole time.

So the scanner ran even though
it was just sitting out there,

so we should have data.

against this valley

actual crash site.

of the Kecksburg crash
site, Andy and Paul

will now look into
another hot spot

25 miles northeast along the
Chestnut Ridge, the abandoned

town of Livermore, to
investigate an even older

mystery, which might shed
light on whether the Kecksburg

crash was caused by some
greater anomaly in the region.

They're here to meet Ron Murphy,
a historian and investigator

of the Livermore phenomena.

All right, let's

Let's check it out.

This is Livermore.

It used to be a fairly
big town at one time,

if you can believe it.

This is right after the
French and Indian War, OK?

So this is kind of the
people that were living

out in the middle of nowhere.

It's the frontier.

This was definitely
the frontier.

There's a lot of things
associated with, like, lights

and things that are related
to elemental type of beings

that are seen around here.

One of the first times I've ever
encountered one of these Earth

lights was actually down here.

You have personally?

I have personally, yes.

"Earth lights"
are the local term

for ground level orb
sightings, frequently

encountered in the area.

It was about 10
o'clock at night.

My buddy and I, we were
coming to this very bridge.

And we went out to the
center of the bridge

until we turned from the
bridge and looked back here.

And right at the opening,
we see a light emanate.

It stayed on for
maybe a second or two

and then it just faded out.

Back in the late
1700s, there was said

to be a witch that
lived here, and then

things started going wrong.

Crops were failing, right,
or babies are born deceased.

So something was going on.

You have to blame
the witch, right?

That's what everybody does.

They grab her, put her onto
a pole, and they burn her.

And as the flames lap up
around her, she screams out,

I'm going to set a flood 100
years from this day to quench

these flames about me.

And that was May 31, 1789.

May 31, 1889, the Johnstown
flood comes through here

and destroys the town.

I want to point out,
there's multiple floods that

came through to the point that
the Army Corps of Engineers

decided, we are
going to put a dam in

and these places that
lie on the outlying areas

are just going to
be flooded out.

So the
town of Livermore

was destroyed by the flood--
Uh huh.

-and then
permanently submerged

once the flood control project?
Yes, sir.

Right here.

There's a lot
below the surface.

Yeah, it's wild, man.

Now that I'm standing here
and hearing the stories,

hearing about the curses,
hearing about just

spooky and creepy history of
this place, not to mention Ron's

reaction to his own
personal experiences here,

I really can't help but wonder
if I'm standing on a Skinwalker

Ranch that's buried underwater.

I'm curious about where
you had this encounter.

Well, right
here is where it was.

- Started right here?
- Yes, sir.

Yes, sir.

How do you describe
the Earth light?

Just emanated, right?

It just turned on.

And it just kind of expanded
and flickered off into nothing.

Often in conjunction with
these lights that we see,

preceding the lights appearing
is the sound of wind chimes.

It's tonal.

So it's usually
about three tone.

I don't play music or
anything like that.

One is almost like
an establishing tone.

The other one is a
bit higher to the ear.

And the other one
is just a little bit

lower than the establishing
tone, if that makes any sense.

- So it precedes the phenomenon?
- It precedes the phenomenon.

Yes, sir.

And
you've heard that?

I have.
Oh, no, I've heard it.

Yeah, absolutely.

Heard it, witnessed it, and
everything like that, yes.

- On more than one occasion?
- On more than one occasion.

Yes, sir.

And there's nothing out here.

What would
make any kind of sound out here,

especially a metallic
sound like a wind chime?

I wonder if we can try to
recreate something for him

and see if we, you
know, can hit on it.

of this stuff means,

Andy and Paul are on
a bridge above the flooded town

of Livermore with local
historian and investigator

Ron Murphy, who has witnessed
orb phenomena referred

to as Earth lights,
that have been preceded

by a sequence of sounds.

So Andy and I have
worked with tones many times,

usually using them
to try to trigger

something in the environment.

My question is, is this going
to have some kind of new effect

on this environment?

Was that a trigger
that Ron experienced?

Was it sort of a
harbinger of that event?

I mean, we just have no idea
how this is going to play out.

So our UFODAP'S
over here, stacked

up one on top of the other.

It is actually an extra
set of eyes in the sky.

And those are the green
dots that you see out

there flashing on the bridge.
- Nice.

We also have a
directional antenna.

Any radio signals,
any frequencies

that we see that may be
coming anywhere in the area,

we can actually hone in and
zoom in on it with that antenna.

Meanwhile, we have our
Moonraker antenna here,

which is connected to a spectrum
analyzer, which is picking up

radio signals from all around.

This gives us the ability to
see if we're catching anything

in the big net, and then,
as Andy said, home in on it,

pinpoint maybe what
direction it's coming from

and figure out
what the source is.

Very impressive.

I'm kind of excited
to start seeing

if we can't poke around a bit.

Yeah, let's, uh, play
some tones, I think.

Earlier
this season, the team

played back an audio tone,
replicating the sound

of the infamous Taos Hum--

- Look at this.
- Whoa.

-and seemed
to elicit a response

on their spectrum analyzer
in the privileged zone.

Look
at how it's changing.

Wow.

Now, using
their tone generator,

Andy and Paul will mimic the
three-tone sound Ron reported

hearing before
seeing an orb to see

if they can trigger some sort of
response from the environment.

And, Ron, you mentioned that
you heard a series of tones,

right?

Yeah.

And the tones preceded--

Preceded
the arrival of the orbs.

I'm going to manually
go through the tones.

I want you to stop
me when you feel

like we're in the right region.

And

to remember a sound, which is
oftentimes difficult, but--

like the wind chimes.

for any spikes in the
privileged 1.4 to 1.8

gigahertz radio

for earth-to-space and

This activity that's happening

in on the 1.57 gigahertz signal

they've seemingly
triggered to see what

communication is occurring.

These
sound like wind chimes, man.

It sounds very tonal.

It's
just freaking me out.

The bass tone, the higher
tone, the lower tone,

that's exactly what I heard.

Exactly what I heard.

There's so
many layers of strangeness.

The first we heard
of these three tones

was that Ron heard them
preceding this other series

of events, these lights.

So we tried to match those
tones on the tone generator.

We think we got pretty close.

Ron said, yeah,
that sounds like it.

Now we're getting some strange
signals and radio frequency

that shouldn't be there.

They sound like the tones, too.

Is one triggering the other?

Is there some kind
of relationship

here that we just
don't understand?

This is really
getting interesting.

So you
know what I'd love to do,

Paul, is I'd love to do
a sweep of 360 degrees--

Yup.

in our 1.6 gigahertz range.

OK.

After finding
strange radio frequencies

in the privileged zone, the
team will now use their log

periodic antenna in
an attempt to zero

in on the source of the
signal they just triggered

using the tone generator.

By rotating the log periodic
antenna 360 degrees,

it can isolate and hone
in on the exact direction

a radio signal is coming from.

So you can see
that there's some activity here

at about 1.6.

If we see a spike, when
he starts to move this,

then that's interesting.

So two massive questions come
to mind for me right now.

What is causing radio
energy in this direction--

why is it transmitting

energy at 1.6 gigahertz?

This is a block
of frequency that's reserved.

It's all earth-to-space,
space-to-earth communications.

This is most definitely
the heart of the energy.

This mystery signal is
coming from the direction

of the mystery event in 1965.

So we've got a signal
coming from Kecksburg

that seems to literally
end at this bridge.

I mean, I thought Kecksburg
was interesting, right?

But now that we've been
here as well, I mean,

there is something happening
here in Chestnut Ridge.

possible UFO crash site.

bit of work and adventure

to get to this point.

been fighting the elements

every step of the way here.

Well, you guys saw what
happened with the drone LiDAR.

Absolutely.

Yeah, so I've got dead stick.

that I was able to capture
from the air before it stopped.

This is where it stopped,
this farthest point away.

Which is also
in the same vicinity as where

you reported the actual
craft itself crashing

or landing in that valley.

The failure
happened before it

even got over the ravine.

It's still just making its way
across that big, open field,

getting to the
ravine, and then--

Something pulled
that drone off course.

Something confused
that drone before it

could even get to the target
spot where we were looking.

Maybe, yeah.

Who knows?

We also did a
ground-based LiDAR,

so we should have more data
from the ravine itself that

we collected on the ground.

So that
looks like this.

Look at this right here.

I cut my teeth in civil
engineering and land surveying.

That's manmade earthwork.

Because it's level against this
otherwise very steep slope.

Straight lines, right
angles, those kind of things

do not occur in nature, right?

And then when you rotate the
view, like I've done here,

and you see it has
a level bottom?

I mean, this is
right where we were walking.

Right where you
pointed us toward

is this evidence, 60 years
later, of that impact.

We looked at it
with our own eyes.

There's no level
ground down there.

So that's a remnant of something
that's no longer visible.

It was something
I was going to ask.

Was there heavy
equipment in here

that would have had to been--

whatever it was,
was it carted out?

Yes?

There were two military
flatbed tractor trailers

on the scene that night.

What I understand
is this, you could

not take that tractor trailer
right down to the impact site.

They had to winch it over.

A crane would
need a level spot.

Yes.

When you
compare Pete's LiDAR data

about what he is
seeing in this ravine,

and you contrast it with
what Stan has reported,

his research has shown about
what happened here in Kecksburg,

you really start to see
corroborating evidence that

speaks to the fact
that there really

may have been something that
happened at a specific point

in this ravine.

This is really just a
few feet away from where

Paul and I took baselines.

This is worth going
back and researching,

whether or not there is actually
a difference between the rest

of the ravine and this specific
point that Pete has identified.

How does this make
you guys feel?

It gives us a
little bit of hope

that maybe someday we'll know
what happened in Kecksburg.

There were so many
people involved.

And so many people Ron knew,
people I talked to, many of them

went to their grave
not knowing the truth.

They all stuck by their story.

Many of them took
a lot of ridicule.

And, uh, they deserved
to know the truth.

Armed with new data
detailing a potential manmade

feature only 20 feet away
from where the team originally

investigated the rumored
location of the 1965 UFO

landing, Andy, Paul,
and Pete decide

to go back to replicate their
experiments in the exact spot.

This is it right here.

Up there, yeah.

You see how it feels like a
pad and sort of leveled out?

And then it sort of ends
abruptly right there.

On their initial
visit to the alleged location

of the UFO crash, less
than 20 feet away,

there was zero activity
on the radio spectrum.

I'll tell you, it's very flat.

Tiny little peaks.

Oh, wow.
It's a quiet spectrum for sure.

Yeah.

Now they'll check the
radio spectrum, at the newly

discovered area of interest.

I'll pop the RF scanner.

There's a peak at 1.638.

Are they significant peaks?

Oh, yeah, look at that.

Yeah.

1.74.

That's not the
same spectrum that we saw when

we were here the first time.

Right.

So, yeah, we've
moved, what, 20 feet.

Totally different spectrum.

That's strange.

The one
difference from here to there

is this is what it was
indicated on the LiDAR

as something unusual that
maybe suggests that this

is the actual impact site.

But that would not explain
how it could have such

a different radio signature--

with nothing in
between here and there.

Unless it's hyper-localized,
unless it exists here

and doesn't exist
over there, we could

take the spectrum
analyzer right over

there and find out right now.
- Yeah, that--

I mean, how could that be--

how could the signal
differ across--

It shouldn't.

such a short distance?

We can test it.

We can take it right over there
and see if that same signal

is present right now.

That's not how
radio energy works.

That's not how frequencies work.

The only reason that
we were brought here

was because of
Pete's LiDAR data.

And now that we're here, we're
getting even more evidence that

suggests that there
really was something

strange that happened
on this spot,

in this ravine in Kecksburg.

We might have actually
found the real crash site.

That might explain why we have
so many localized anomalous

readings right here
that we don't see

anywhere else in this valley.

findings at Chestnut Ridge.

I think it exceeded
our expectations.

Mhm.

But it left so many more
questions than answers.

If you recall, we
went out there first

to dig into what happened in
Kecksburg in 1965, the reported

landing or crashing of some
sort of acorn-shaped object

from the sky.

So we called in Pete Kelsey.

And Pete was able
to run aerial LiDAR

and walk a ground-based
SLAM scanner along with us

so that we could really
saturate the area with data.

And then when we did
get Pete's results--

Yeah.

they were really
quite telling.

So Pete's actually waiting
online to give us a walkthrough

of what he discovered.

So this is the
SLAM scanner data.

If I rotate past horizontal,
this right here, I mean,

right away was like,
OK, that's unusual.

I mean, literally a rectangle
of graded level ground.

OK, yeah, I see.

Why is it level?

It just
suggests made earthworks.

Oh, yeah.

But, uh, this looks

like there's some
sort of excavation

that took place in that spot.

And for there to
have been so many

witnesses that led
you to that spot,

it really is very, uh, suspect.

Yeah.

Um, one other thing
I'd like to show you.

So this has me shaking my
head, my friends, again,

because we've got
data underground.

See this?

There it is.

That's clearly below
ground right there.

How far underground is that?

Oh, at 100 feet.

It's impossible.

I mean, here we go again, right?

Lasers can't see
through solid ground.

Now,
see, that tells us

that the computer
system in the LiDAR

believes that those
particular points

took longer to get back to the
receiver than it actually did.

Yeah, that data identifies
a very unique point in space

and time during the scan
that is exceptional to,

you know, versus
everything else.

You know, where
have we seen this before?

We've seen it at the Highway
350 bridge at Miller Ranch.

Triangle.

We've seen
it at Skinwalker Ranch.

Mhm.

Yeah, that's right.

Maybe we're on to
something that nobody's

ever really figured out before.

To my knowledge,
this is probably

the first time anybody's ever
done a LiDAR measurement there.

Any place that I get
LiDAR returns underground,

that's interesting.

in that specific
depression, that site

that Pete's LiDAR
found, what else

could we measure in that site?

So we went back down there and
we took an RF spectrum analyzer.

We are literally standing
in the indented site

that Pete identified
in his data.

There
was a peak at 1.638.

- Look at that.
- Yeah.

That's not the
same spectrum that we saw when

we were here the first time.
Right.

Totally different spectrum.

That's strange.

And this is the spectrum
analyzer, readings that we're

getting, which are completely
different than the baseline

readings we got in
the ravine earlier

when we first
arrived to Kecksburg.

It's a quiet spectrum for sure.

Where was the ravine in
relation to this point?

We're
going to show you here.

We can test it.

We can take it right over there
and see if that same signal

is present right now.

What I just watched
was contiguous footage?

There was no cut.

There was no editorial
process there.

That is correct.

Physically walked,
in my hand, 20 feet.

That's it.

You dropped,
uh, 55 dB in 20 feet.

I mean, you've got the
numbers right here.

55 dB, that's ginormous change.

Orders of magnitude.

Many orders of
magnitude change.

And here's another piece that
should be the opposite of this.

You guys were down in a hole.

Right.
- Right?

In a ravine.

And you walked uphill.

The signal should have got
stronger as you walked uphill

because there's less terrain
blocking from wherever it could

be coming from, unless
it's coming from down there

in that hole.

What is this signal doing there?

That doesn't add up.

That-- that is just too much.

Here on the ranch
when we get it,

we usually see some
kind of phenomena occur.

We see something we expect,
OK, somehow or other,

the source is with whatever
this is, or this is causing it.

It's a byproduct or something.

This looks like it's just
coming out of the dadgum ground.

Right.

Or it's a beam
coming from somewhere

else hitting the ground.

So this is-- that
shouldn't be there.

Anyway, whatever that is,
it shouldn't be there.

Either we've got
something active,

something energizing that
space in the RF today,

and for who knows how long, or
we've got some kind of residual

from the event.

So
what you have shown

is there is something very odd
about that particular point

in Kecksburg.

You're
talking about getting

concrete evidence of something--
what did you say, 60 years?

60 years ago.

Did a little beacon fall off
of whatever that acorn-shaped

thing was and it's still--

A 60-year battery.

with a 60-year--

yeah, right?

I'm thinking right now of
all sorts of different things

that we need to go back and do.

This place, to me, is absolutely
fascinating and bizarre.

I mean, I would
love to say that we're

scratching the surface.

I feel like we're just
tapping on the surface.

Yeah, yeah.

The more and more you

we realize we don't know.

That's exactly
what I was feeling.
