different Tour to my first year.

I was riding the GC,
but it kind of went wrong.

And I didn't really
achieve anything.

And this year, I
want to make up for it.

After being hyped up as the big champion,
GC hope for Team Ineos, and not winning a

stage last year, this year,
Pidcock is targeting stage wins.

He has a point to prove, especially
after his epic win up Alpe d'Huez in 2022.

I get a big kick out of
being in the spotlight.

Hundreds of thousands of people
watching along the side of the road.

That's what I'm here for.

And this year, I
want to do it again.

With his background in
mountain biking and cyclocross,

the pressure is on Tom
Pidcock for this gravel stage.

But he's not the only one who
sees the opportunity for a stage win.

a really good chance for us.

race in the cycling calendar.

One we always aimed for.

I've ridden in the Tour
a number of times.

But it's maybe about
time I got a result, though.

Not just in the top ten.

Anthony Turgis
is a rider who's a

specialist in the
one-day race, the Classic.

He's ranked in the top ten.

But he hasn't yet brought home
a trophy of any real significance.

It's not easy with the
tactics of the bigger teams.

to my big brother as well.

They both had to stop.

Bike racing was
off limits for them.

cardiovascular tests.

But at any moment,
they could tell me to stop.

terrain, it is so unpredictable.

There's a chance of crashes, punctures,
losing significant amount of time.

So for our big four, the GC
ambitions can be over in a single day.

We know the gravel stage means a lot
of chaos, concerning crashes especially.

So before the Tour, we did the wrecking
with the riders to see what it looked like.

But Jonas was at
home recovering.

This is like a labyrinth.

So for him, it will be a
race into the unknown.

We're hoping that he will be
able to recover before the accident.

sectors are pretty narrow.

With 170 riders, there

The main goal is to get Jonas to the stage
in the first group and not give any time

to Bogacar, Primoz, and
even a pull, but mainly Bogacar.
