Less than a month away from the last military intelligence.

Why does the war decline so?

Why does Li Mingan tell me till now?

Prefectural governor Li didn't expect

Wu Dehou and deputy general would go right into the enemy's center.

The army failed to break through.

Now...

The father and son go missing?

Your Majesty.

What happened?

Jia Yibo, you can't intervene in politics.

They are my dad and brother.

How can I stand by?

Uncle.

Show him, but keep the secret.

Uncle

I want to go to Changzhou.

No.

Why?

We don't know what's going on there.

You are from family Gu.

If you go now, you will shake the morale of the troops.

He is my father.

My brother.

If something happens to them, why do we need morale?

How dare you!

Your Majesty.

You should restrain yourself even if you love your princess very much.

Don't get changed.

Where have you been after the court?

I am sorry.

You come here because you need to keep a good eye on him.

I know his temper.

If he goes there without my permission and disturbs morale of troops,

you will share the responsibility with him.

Bloody collective punishment.

Shut up.

Yes.

Go.

Jia Yibo.

Military intelligence.

We fully support them.

How could this happen?

As I know, it's a war horse.

War horse.

I have given all to him.

Go.

Nice horses.

They are Fan horses?

See the mouth and horseshoes.

Do you think you can find horses like this in central plains?

So can you lower the price?

Think this way.

Now it's wartime.

The government gives the ban.

Even if we buy it, our boss will take responsibility.

45 Guan, no penny less.

I am not afraid even if I am the horse seller.

What are you afraid?

If you don't have the courage, just go back.

Easy...

Ok.

Where are the horses from?

Do you know the rules here？

So you are here to buy horses or have an investigation?

Whatever.

Ok.

45 Guan.

Count it.

Make way.

Make way.

Sell the horses here in secret.

How dare you!

Go.

We had a deal.

Give it back.

According to imperial law, horses dealers in wartime will get banished.

Take them and horses back.

How dare you!

You dare to defy against the imperial law.

Stop now.

Go back to yamen.

Hurry.

Yes

Go.

Go after them.

Hurry, go.

People in yamen are so ridiculous.

They even don't respect us.

You didn't see it.

They are aggressive.

Fortunately, we keep all the horses.

Well done.

In my opinion, it doesn't matter even if you kill them one or two.

You often teach us.

Blocking the fortune is like killing parents.

As long as no one blocks my fortune,

it doesn't matter even if they kill my parents.

Did you tell them to sell the rest horses on the market right

They will waste our forage if we keep them.

I got it.

Zhou Congxian, he is so ridiculous.

Your Grace.

Please uphold justice for us.

Go.

Go...

See.

What are you doing?

You scared them.

Look.

The horses are so great.

We will have so much money.

Idiot.

How can idiots like you live in the world?

For the little money, you dare to...

Chancellor, please mind your language.

So am I such a pushover for you?

Something bad happened.

Who do you think you are?

I can tell you

We have military intelligence from Changzhou.

Gu Silin and his son are gone.

It's a good news.

Finally.

After we lost the war, the court would investigate

and someone would be responsible for it.

If they know...

I say it's me alone.

You really believe this?

From beginning to end

I just make a little fortune out of it.

I don't know what you did with that.

But if the emperor knows,

you think you will be luckier than me?

It's useless talking about this.

We should take the initiative before the emperor and the crown prince.

I have said.

Lu Ying worked in Tea and Horse road.

He will be our nemesis.

It's great now.

Lu Ying

Sleep in my palace tonight.

I have a home. Why should I sleep in your palace?

It's not the first time, ok?

You are just married.

I don't want to disturb you.

Feng'en.

Are you not worried about my dad and my brother?

Of course I am worried about them.

But...

She is in Changzhou.

They lost the battle in Changzhou.

You are not worried?

Don't mention her.

Yeah.

You are fickle.

You are the emperor's good son.

The imperial decreed told me to keep a good eye on you.

So you should behave otherwise...

Where are you going?

Don't worry, and I won't get you involved.

Young master.

Will your dad and brother be ok?

That is the battlefield.

How can I know what will happen to them?

You can't go.

Not because of the imperial decree.

If you go there, your family's bloodline.

What?

I mean, you won't leave for the crown prince.

Jia Yibo should go for the crown prince.

I won't ask how you get in.

You are the emperor's favorite.

It's not a problem for you to enter my residence.

But I'm the host here after all.

I have to know how you get out.

Send him out.

You will feel painful before you die.

I should have seen it coming.

Xu is not just a sycophant.

He even can kill people.

I'm just an armchair strategist.

Speaking of killing,

your grandpa Gu Yushan.

the former chancellor, the late emperor's confidant.

6 out of 12 imperial security forces worked for him.

Your dad Gu Silin was an ordinary guard in the beginning.

then he became the assistant for the prince.

then assistant minister of war, general Fu Yuan in Changzhou.

Your brother...

Shut up.

How dare you talk about my father and brother!

Gu Chengen.

He is an earl since 6 years old.

He was admitted to the army by Wu Dehou at 15

and fought with him side by side.

So all the people think he will be the marquis before 30.

When it comes to killing, who is better than them?

You are asking for death.

Young master.

Go.

What a pity!

What a pity!

People love only the affairs and stories about women in the palace.

They forgot your official rank has nothing to do with the late queen.

But the enemies they killed.

I think you still remember right?

You do the paperwork for the emperor.

But you are luring people to defy against the imperial decree.

A man's achievement can't last three generations.

From your grandpa, your dad to your brother, it's the third generation.

Without military exploit, what does your family have?

Try it.

Will it be painful?

I think no one will talk about it.

Without family Gu, what will the crown prince have?

Jia Yibo

Jia Yibo wears the silk and rolls in the mud.

The clothes is so precious?

It's different.

Gu Fengen.

My glittering name.

It's glittering because of your blurred vision.

You have a privilege?

So many people pass the exam, but no one is like you.

Mine is different from theirs.

Mine is more valuable than theirs.

Your swordsmanship is still wrong.

But it's you who feel painful, right?

You are insignificant.

It's so irrational to be judgmental.

You also know going to Changzhou is your only way out.

If you don't go, your family's bloodline will be in danger.

Don't you feel the same way?

People can have good kids.

Why are you so depressed, sire?

I can't keep up.

People can have...

What?

Good kids.

It means we have good sons and daughters to continue the blood.

Why are you so depressed, sire?

What sire?

It represents the king.

You can see it as the crown prince.

It means, king,

Why are you worried?

I am not as learnt as you.

But I outcompete you in this.

I am clumsy since childhood.

I can only do the manual labor.

Took you long enough.

Don't ask more.

Yes

Sire, why are you so...

depressed.

I am not depressed.

He is awake.

What if we make some noise?

Now the minister and assistant minister are not here.

So be it.

What do you want?

What are you doing?

Let me go.

Wenpu.

Wenpu.

Wenpu.

What are you doing?

What are you doing?

Your Royal Highness

Jia Yibo.

Did he still go to Chunming gate?

Yes.

I need a horse.

You can just tell the guards to go there.

He.

You.

Yes.

I won't chase him back.

Your Royal Highness

Your Royal Highness

Tell me after I come back.

No.

It's urgent.

What?

Now I am really depressed.

What should I do?

Commander You is sleeping.

Assistant minister Du also went to Jingjidao.

I have to see minister Zhang.

Feng'en.

Your Royal Highness

He left.

You are going to go after him.

Where is my seal?

It's kept in the main hall.

I mean personal seal.

It's gone long time ago.

Give it to Zhang Luzheng.

He will know it's mine when he sees it.

Minister Zhang's mansion.

Who knows?

It will take some time to find it.

Maid Gu went to my family's mansion on my wedding day.

You know the way, right?

Can you ride a horse?

No.

Give her the pass and send someone to go with her.

Give it to minister Zhang in person.

What is written in it?

I know it's a good calligraphy.

But I can't read.

Ok, I won't ask.

You should go now.

You can't sabotage it.

Senior maid.

He has a shift all of sudden tonight.

So he went to chancery.

Usually it's Jia Yibo here.

But he is not here.

What should we do now?

Go.

Now we go to Dongfu palace or chancery?

I have no time.

Be careful.

Stop.

What are you doing here?

Where is the prison?

Lu Ying is over there.

Wait.

How's it going?

Brother Wenpu

Young master Zhang.

Why is he here?

Hurry.

Hurry up.

Brother Wenpu

Brother Wenpu

Brother Wenpu

Brother Wenpu

Brother Wenpu

Brother Wenpu

Wow.

Brother Wenpu

Brother Wenpu

Brother Wenpu

Brother Wenpu

I am here to see you.

You sleep like this?

Dad...

What are you shouting at?

Dad.

Look...

Look.

Go out.

Still breathing.

Save him.

Ok.

Hurry.

Dad.

You should take them to another place.

I get it.

Someone wants to kill you.

You are saved. You need to thank my brother in law.

Dad.

Do you know who my brother-in-law is?

From today on,

keep a good eye on them.

No one can hurt them.

Yes.

Did you see Jia Yibo pass?

So many people pass here, how can I remember?

You...

Your Royal Highness

I heard it. Forget it.

From Wu Dehou's mansion to here,

people would go farther than this generally.

Your Royal Highness

Stupid horse.

Sucks.

Beast.

Go back with me.

Since I'm here, I am charged with defying against the imperial decree.

I can't go back.

Go back. Don't need the imperial decree.

I'll punish you first.

You take him here?

Without commander You?

Without shackles?

Who let you go?

Jia Yibo

You learn this from me.

I thought you were self-effacing.

Yes, I was.

But It's different now.

You are taller than me.

So stubborn.

Do you remember I taught you archery and horse riding in South mountain?

Your skilles are dilettante.

You have delayed me for so many years.

I am so sorry.

You forgot what you said?

Where's brother Cheng'en?

He went to Changzhou with dad.

He will be a general in the future to assist you.

So you will go too?

Your Royal Highness, look.

I put on the clothes.

In the future, I will be a scholar.

I can be an official by myself.

I can work in the capital with a good performance.

A loyal armyman will defend the country.

The ministers will be dedicated to the national course.

I will be your good helper.

You won't go?

Yes.

I won't go.

I remember.

So I break the promise.

I lost my official rank.

If I don't leave now, I won't fulfill my original promise.

Such a liar.

Yes

After you become the emperor in the future,

will you still want to see me the sycophant?

It's so shameful to work for me?

Yes, shameful.

It's so terrible to burn the clothes?

The gate is closed.

How can you go out?

I can fix it.

Without your sycophancy, what else can you have?

You opened the gate for me.

Now I will repay you.

Who?

Stop.

I want to go out.

Ok.

You need to give me the imperial decree.

How about the crown prince's order?

You come with your seal?

Why?

You will go after all.

Who can I force to stay?

Bye.

Feng'en.

This is royal horse.

If the emperor knows this, how will you explain it?

Even people are gone, the horse is not a big deal.

Go.

Brother Ru

I have said, the best defense is offense...

Now it's great.

Zhang Luzheng takes him away.

Tell me what to do.

What should we do?

Did I tell you to sell horses?

If I don't sell horses, you can run when they know we lost the battle?

You think you...

Enough.

Lu Ying is just a cicada.

I didn't catch him.

The pellet will directly go to the yellow bird.

Who is the bird?

Who is the bird?

Jia Yibo ran away, right?

Yes.

You should tell the emperor.

Maybe he will forget the horse.

Not now.

He needs to run farther.

I know the country is eventful.

We have suspended the dragon boat for years.

But we have the new princess this year.

I think we should do something.

What do you mean?

We have no dragon boat.

We can have polo.

Polo is one of the games for Dragon Boat Festival.

It's a deal.

Thank you, your Majesty.

So this year you will join the game?

I haven't seen it for years.

It's for young people.

Great.

Why frown?

Have you tamed that horse?

Yes.

That's all.

We want to use it for more days.

We should go to find some Fan horses like royal horses.

It's easy to find the horses of the central plains.

But Fan horses go to the battlefield.

It's quite tough.

But you tell them to find them outside?

Sister.

What does my brother-in-law's horse look like?

I don't know either.

You should ask Wang.

Give it to me.

Sister, you are so noble.

Why do you still do this?

Anyway, I have nothing to do.

Sister.

It's for my brother-in-law, right?

Your skill is excellent.

My brother-in-law is so...

People all idle in imperial college.

He has no class?

You don't know, we...

Call me your Royal Highness.

Your Royal Highness

Your Royal Highness

Can't you wear your hat well?

There.

He has no evil intentions.

He just idle around all day.

Your Royal Highness

You fixed your work?

I told Youming to give me a solution.
