Your Majesty.

I have calculated the budget for the crown prince's wedding.

You should check it out.

Minister Huang.

The crown prince is going to marry his fiancee.

I think we should increase the budget.

Your Majesty.

Yanzuo palace's renovation undergoes 7 years.

It's costly.

And this year, the crown prince has the capping ceremony twice.

Crown prince, have a look.

No more money than this.

The national treasury is inadequate.

We have done our best.

We hope your Majesty and your Royal Highness can understand.

And I think now Yanzuo palace is completed.

I think we should be economical.

We don't need to repair Baoben palace.

I thin the crown prince should move back after the wedding ceremony.

So, minister Huang, you know our topic for today.

Great.

You should tell us your idea.

We don't need to repair Baoben palace.

And Yanzuo palace is just completed.

We need to spend a lot of money on furniture.

You can move your current furniture to Yanzuo palace.

We just need to reallocate the manpower.

You rob Peter to pay Paul.

So you think it's glorious for the imperial reputation?

Your Majesty

Your Royal Highness

Indeed it's glorious.

The emperor is the purple unit.

The crown prince is the avant star.

The purple unit is in the center.

And the avant star is in the east of the arch.

This is the general idea of the code of conduct,

between the emperor and the ministers.

The essence of etiquette.

Baoben palace and Yanzuo palace are separated only by a wall.

Also the east of purple unit.

The avant star is where I live.

We can't turn it upside down.

You also said so right?

They said this seven years ago.

You still remember?

What's your opinion, minister Lu?

I will do as your Majesty say.

I...

What's your take?

I don't want to move.

You have heard him.

What is this?

So be it.

Your Majesty.

No.

Chancellor disagrees.

It's not what I meant.

If the crown prince doesn't go back to the palace, it will invite reproach.

What reproach?

If the crown prince lives outside,

he will see the ministers often.

Just take yesterday,

The imperial astronomer went to Baoben palace.

Really?

One royal minister bumped into him.

So he waited outside for one hour till the astronomer came out.

I am asking you, is it true?

So the royal minister wrote the accusation memorial to the chancery.

We need to prevent the palace from the fire in such weather.

So the crown prince will move back to the palace.

You should go to Dong palace now.

Don't go awry.

If the crown prince moves back,

it will be so hard to overthrow chancellor.

If the chancellor is not overthrown,

he will manipulate me forever?

It's so windy.

I think we should stop working.

The crown prince's wedding is coming soon.

If we can't complete this, you will take responsibility?

It's ok for me.

All because he doesn't come back.

Everyone, go to find a asylum.

Before that, check all the fire.

It can't go awry before the crown prince's wedding.

You are...

I work in imperial household department.

I just came from Yan'an palace.

So it's decided?

Everyone, find a asylum.

Come down.

Come down.

Okay. Go.

Be careful.

Take it.

Come

Go...

Hurry.

Ok.

Hurry up.

Jia Yibo goes there for a dozen of times a month. It's ok.

We won't mind Zhanshifu department, Chunfang departments

or even Donggong palace.

But the assistant director of the ministry of rites,

assistant minister of justice and all the attendants.

The crown prince should be self-cultivated.

And can't intervene in the politics.

Let alone see the ministers in secret.

You know better than me about who my son met.

It's all the royal ministers' memorials.

But I suppressed them.

If I hadn't suppressed it, they would have talked about it in the court.

Crown prince, take a good look.

You should thank chancellor.

Your Majesty.

I can explain this.

The assistant director of the ministry of rites just told me the ceremony process.

I am worried.

the palace is completed and

the wedding ceremony is coming.

If the crown prince doesn't go back to the palace,

what will they gossip about?

Attendants of the ministry of rites come to send the congratulations.

But I didn't see him.

It's not good for your family, the country and yourself.

As for imperial astronomer,

I...

Enough.

Why are you two doing up there?

It's the imperial decreed, we should shelter

ourselves from the wind and fire here.

Come down here.

Send my decree to the ministry of rites.

The crown prince will move to Yanzuo palace after the wedding.

Your Majesty.

Can't make any troubles for me.

Your Majesty.

It's on fire.

Fire?

Where?

It's Yanzuo palace.

What?

It's on fire.

Help.

It's on fire.

It's on fire.

Go in there.

Can't open it.

It's locked.

Go, fetch the water.

Hurry.

Hurry.

Hurry up.

Send people there.

Yes, we did.

Your Majesty.

We need to give a thorough investigation.

Not now to talk about this.

It's such a strong wind.

They should come back.

Your Majesty.

All the money from the treasury.

When do you become like An Pingbo?

I have said.

They must get down here.

Yes

Till it's not so windy.

According to the imperial decree, you should go back.

Go...

Go.

Go back, all of you.

Crown prince, you should go back and get prepared.

Yes.

Your Majesty.

Your Royal Highness.

It's on fire again.

Put out the fire.

It's raining now.

Lady.

It's...

It thunders.

It's hard to predict the disaster.

So the destiny is...

On your side.

Did you put out the fire?

Yes, we did it.

How long will it take to rebuild it?

Chancellor.

At least three months.

It's great that we stopped the fire.

Where does the fire come from?

Can't go back.

Your Majesty.

Donggong palace is on fire.

We need to give a thorough investigation.

Your Royal Highness

Last night, the imperial astronomer went to see you.

Inform me of the weather on the wedding day.

Why do you ask this?

I have said,

You can't put this box under the eaves.

You think it's the lightning protection.

This is the root cause of thunder.

It's under the eaves.

Serve you right.

Have you forgotten the fire in Fenghua palace?

Your Majesty.

I am sorry.

Your Majesty.

It's suspicious.

Someone wants to block the crown prince's wedding.

So we can't see it as thunder fire.

So you mean...

We need to find out the arsonist.

Anyway, now we put out the fire.

So you want me to investigate the house owner or Thor?

The palace was on fire before the ceremony.

It's my misconduct.

I will write an apology letter.

Forget it.

The fire is because of the thunder.

No one set fire on purpose.

You write the apology letter, and then I need to make the confession decree?

I dare not.

You are going to get married, why are you still so ignorant?

Yes.

Xu, make the decree for me.

The ceremony should be held in Baoben palace.

Yes.

I can't move back even if I want to.

Please help me suppress all the memorials.

Chancellor, you should handle it.

Before the ceremony, we can't have more trouble.

Yes.

So the crown prince won't move.

So in the future,

we need your help, lady.

Much obliged.

Let's go.

Maid Gu.

Yes.

Lady.

The fire did burn from the top.

But it's suspicious.

We found traces of tung oil in it.

I know

I asked the imperial astronomer yesterday.

The crown prince didn't ask about the ceremony.

He asks him when there would be a thunderstorm.

Everyone, find the asylum.

Asylum.

Stop working.

Come down.

Come down.

What's going on?

Leave it.

We should hurry up.

What are you two doing up there?

According to the imperial decree, we need to

shelter ourselves from the wind and fire.

Come down.

So he told men to put it around the eaves.

He told me to believe him once.

Ok, I want to know what he will do.

I didn't expect he would demolish the palace.

If he weren't going to get married, I would have him whipped.

You told me Lu Ying would die for sure.

But now.

He was pull back from hell.

Now the crown prince is going to marry Zhang Luzheng's daughter.

And the crown prince won't move back in the palace.

They all come for you.

I think.

The best defense is offense.

Don't forget.

Before he was the royal minister, he worked in Tea and Horse road.

If he knows what we did,

I did it.

I did it alone.

I did all that, so it's not a big deal to die in prison.

Patience.

So this time, the emperor stands on the crown prince's side.

Keep your mouth shut.

We should take action after the ceremony.

Danfeng gate.

The main entrance.

Yan'an Palace.

The emperor's resting place.

Denghua palace.

The imperial concubine's resting place.

Yanzuo palace.

Donggong palace.

Baoben palace.

Who?

Guards.

It's the place you will go.

All the six divisions' duty.

Shangyi division is for the etiquette.

Shangfu division is for clothes.

Shangshi division is for the cuisine.

Shangqin division is for the sleep.

Shanggong division is for the needlework.

Gongzheng division is for criminal law.

These are all the 6 divisions.

Where do you work?

I am the female historian.

No official rank.

This time I work in Dongfu palace,

I will do the paperwork for the crown princess.

We have only one emperor.

How many people do we have to address royal highness?

3.

The queen.

The crown prince.

and the crown princess.

Prince Qi's biological mom.

The imperial concubine in Denghua palace.

Yes

When she sees the crown prince,

who will show the courtesy?

The imperial concubine should show the courtesy to the crown prince.

When the imperial concubine sees the crown princess,

who should be courteous?

The late queen died.

The crown princess is the most noblewoman in our country.

The imperial concubine should show courtesy to the crown princess.

Do you know?

Prince V's biological mother should show courtesy to you.

I only know we are the strangers since then.

On the ceremony, who will show courtesy to whom

between the bride and the bridegrrom?

The crown prince is the emperor to be.

The princess is the minister.

The princess should show courtesy to the crown prince.

You will know it tomorrow.

Yes, lady.

Prince V.

You are so brilliant now.

Rise.

There is nothing here.

You stood here for a long time.

What are you looking?

My late mom planted this by herself.

Before we went to Sichuan,

the fall is the season for osmanthus to bloom.

It's so fragrant.

My mother would preserve it and make the pastries.

Now I miss the old family times.

I can't wait till the flowers bloom.

I don't understand what you have done for your family.

As I know, you have separated from your brother for many years.

Yes.

I was young when I left home.

I like candies.

I was angry with my brother because

he had no candies for me before I left.

This year, I came back to the capital,

brother got wet in exam hall.

He gave me some candies when I got home.

He said he bought it on the way home.

The sugar-coated paper was wet.

The candies melting on clothes.

I

I washed the clothes for a long time.

Without complaints.

So I threw away the candies.

Your brother will be so sad.

But my younger brother picked it up.

And he had two decayed teeth.

Fortunately

He will have new ones in the dental transitional period.

I envy your brothers.

You also have brothers.

My brother won't give me candies.

By the rules, I must answer you.

But I don't know how.

Sister.

Just smile at me.

So is the perfunctory smile helpful?

Tomorrow the ceremony begins.

It's not late if you change your mind.

I can't.

And I don't want to.

Please remember this.

I think lady Jiang won't tell you this.

What?

We shouldn't be strangers.

We should leave now.

Get in the carriage.

Sister, you come here for this?

How can you have this?

I promised one minister that I would return it to its master.

It's the time now.

That day,

I was thinking, and I would go back if I could see him,

and have a little talk for the last time.

No one wants it.

Your Royal Highness.

Wait.

Don't close it.

Tell you dad.

Everything is fine.

Don't be impulsive.

What goes around comes around.

You should be a dutiful wife in the future.

Yes.

Come.

Tomorrow is the ceremony.

You should behave in the future.

But take care of yourself.

Don't be afraid.

You have me.

Sister.

And me

Sister.

All these are from brother-in-law right

Mind your language.

You should say his Royal Highness.

But he is my brother in law anyway.

Sister.

What did the ministry of rites tell you, Qingqi or Gaoqi?

What's the difference?

Of course it's different.

Xu told me Gaoqi is royal grace.

It's notice.

Qingqi is the secular language.

It means he needs you to marry him.

You know Xu.

You should learn something good from him.

He is a good man.

He pulled me out of the water.

Speaking of which, I think of the jerk

who kicked me into the water.

Ridiculous.

He will be freak out if he knows who my brother in law is.

Don't be a troublemaker for our family and the crown prince.

Sister.

Rest assured

Dad told me it's a happy thing for our family.

By the way, sister

As I know, brother-in-law's mother died early.

The emperor, your father-in-law,

He doesn't like brother in law.

So he has many troubles around.

And Donggong palace was on fire.

Younger sister.

What are you talking?

I'm worried about her.

It's a happy day.

Come...

Pick your jewelry.

Come.

It's pretty.

Your Royal Highness

Your painting is prepared.

You should check it.

No need.

Put it away.

Where should I put it?

Don't be too close.

Don't let me see it.

Don't be too far.

I don't want to forget it.
