When he killed her.

Mr. Bower has been in
and out of state
institutions for 11 years.

His case file runs
over 1,000 pages.

Clearly there's something
wrong with him.

No. My diagnosis is that
he suffers a bipolar disorder
with psychotic features.

Would this disorder prevent

the consequences

required a concentrated,
focused effort,

of someone suffering
a psychotic attack.

He even had the presence
of mind to lock the container

So that her body
wouldn't be discovered.

That doesn't prove
he understood what
he was doing.

After he killed her,
he covered her
with his coat.

that's called a tell.

He felt remorse. Guilt.

No voice told
him to do that.
Just his conscience.
