left fortunes behind,

So we know from our
research that Bart and Boaz

stole horses, painted 'em, hid out,

and hid caches of money along the way.

However, on February 1st 1889,

the Union Bank in Jackson Tennessee

was robbed of $8,900 in gold coins.

Ian, did you wanna say something?

Uh, assuming each gold
coin is worth $2,000,

for 9,000 gold coins that's roughly

an 18 million dollar haul.

Split 10 ways, that's
1.8 million dollars each.

That's good stuff.

Union Bank was robbed
when brother Boaz Johanson

entered and put a knife

to the throat of the bank teller.

Boaz was known to always carry
two knives on his person.

One for show, and one to throw.

So listen, as Boaz was
making off with the loot,

a deputy lawman showed
up and fired off one shot

as Boaz road away.

Now,

at daybreak,

a posse found Boaz dead,

The dead outlaw was found
lying about 150 feet
