which consisted of two soldiers,

argument, obviously,

about money.

Well, a fight started.

The girl started to scream.
The soldiers ran away.

The fellow in the beret pulled
out a gun and started shooting.

The bullet ricocheted off the ground

and hit me right in the heart.

bleeding all over the place.

Did they ever get the lead out?

No. You see, I had to get
out of the Signal Corps

because every time I turned
my back on the radar,

they received enemy-aircraft warnings.
